Credit card payment not accepted. Pan-fried dish (€20) with four very, very small pieces of meat. Metaxa sauce was not good. Only those who order an ouzo plate receive an ouzo. That's not how I'm used to it. Never again...

I'd give it zero stars if I could! At first, I was surprised that only one table was occupied on a Friday evening, but when one thing led to another, I completely understood. It started with the order. My husband ordered a fish platter for almost €25 and asked if he could have one item instead of the other. No! Only what was listed on the menu! When the platter arrived, we were beyond shocked—an absolute disgrace! There were three bites of fish with three potatoes—a bad joke! The fish was definitely not fresh, more like frozen. The children ordered fish fingers, which were completely burnt. There were toys for children on site, but they were broken, dirty, and some were even moldy. The salad was served with a dressing that tasted like mayonnaise—not good at all. My steak was supposed to be well-done, but it arrived rare and medium. The baked potato next to it was so covered in quark that when I pushed it aside, there was no potato to be seen except the skin. The grilled chicken our son ordered was definitely not fresh, more like frozen. The garlic-marinated pepperoni was tasteless and not even pepperoni, but bell peppers. The baked feta cheese was half cold, and the dough was so hard you couldn't even cut it. Nobody finished their food; the plate looked pretty much the same as when it arrived. The whole thing cost us around €200—a complete waste of money. Absolutely not recommended, never again!

Unfortunately, I have to revise my review. I have often come here with my family. I have paid several times in the past with my Visa card. My bank no longer accepts debit cards. There was no indication in the entrance area whether to pay with cash or debit card. After eating, I wanted to pay and after seeing my card, I was told only debit or cash. I am not carrying around €150 in cash, and why should I? I offered to pay the additional fees if that solved the problem. Not possible, immediate transfer, no, not possible. No, I had to drive miles to an ATM and withdraw cash. That is extremely unfriendly to customers. If there had been a sign in the entrance area saying that only cash or debit card payments and no mobile phone or credit card payments were possible, it would have been okay. But I think it is wrong as it is. The food was great. The service itself was too. But the manager who came to take the payment was simply the opposite of customer-oriented. As good as the food was, I will not be coming back and will avoid the place in the future. There are enough alternatives where you can leave your money.

The food was truly great! Very tasty. Service was nice and friendly, but could have been more attentive in places. The ambiance (outdoor area) could be improved.

First, we had to wait 20 minutes before we even got our tickets. Then another 15 minutes until someone took pity on us and took our drinks. When we finally got to order our food, we were quickly disappointed. Unfortunately, we've rarely eaten so badly. The only thing that was halfway decent was the side salad, and even then the dressing was warm, so it remains to be seen if there will be any second helpings. I had calamari, and the portion was beyond ridiculous for the price. The few pieces were almost lost on the large plate. No lemon, no salad, and no fries or anything else. If I hadn't ordered the fries separately, I would have left even hungrier than I am now. The baked bifteki was too "crispy" and more than burnt. We quickly regretted going there because our favorite Greek restaurant is unfortunately on vacation. We'll just wait until it's back next time. Not again...

Very great and friendly service, super delicious food, a very nice and cozy atmosphere! Prices are a bit higher than at other Greek restaurants in the area, but they're more than justified given the top-notch quality and everything else. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'd be happy to go back anytime!

I had a delicious Greek meal. I found the starter (chicken soup) and the dessert (chocolate soufflé) a bit simple, but the main courses were excellent. The lamb chops were very tender and good. Very tasty.

The two of us wanted to go out to eat but we weren't registered. The staff didn't notice us. We left after 30 minutes and didn't have any food or drink. Not great.

Hi I stopped by yesterday after many years. It could use a bit of a spruce up, especially the entrance area and the area around the building, which looks a bit wild, and from the back you can see the overflowing garbage cans. But we came to eat. The Aperol Spritz was a bit too thin, but drinkable. The food arrived early, the veal was very tasty, and our special request for 2 or 3 pepperoni was promptly fulfilled. The liver was cooked to perfection. The bifteki wasn't too dry, but very tasty thanks to the interesting seasoning. A little light on the sauce, overall, I would recommend it. So don't let the exterior put you off.

The ambiance is dated, but perfectly fine. Service gets 3.5 stars; it was OK, but there's room for improvement. The tzatziki was very good, the appetizer salad was OK, and the baked gyro got 3 stars. It tasted okay, but some of the meat was just fat. In conclusion, there are definitely better Greek restaurants in Garbsen and the surrounding area that also offer better quality for a bit less money.

One star is too many. Food is not good. I like eating Greek. But the fish platter was fried to death. The fish was just dry and burnt. We had dinner with seven people and it wasn't exactly enjoyable for everyone. We then spoke to the waitress and she started to discuss. It would always be like this. OK then that's how it is with this restaurant. We won't eat there anymore. This could have been clarified differently. It is also not possible to talk loudly in a restaurant about the problem of the food so that every guest can hear it. I think the other guests don't want that.

Unfortunately, our second visit was a complete disaster. The food was very bad for the rather high price. When we complained, the manager simply replied, "Well, that's the way it is." I'd say that was very unprofessional. 🤷‍♀️ This could have been handled differently... what a shame. Unfortunately, this isn't going to attract new guests. We definitely won't be coming back.

Service was there quickly, but there were only 6 people in the restaurant. Food wasn't good, the gyros were oversalted and the Cretan potatoes were already cold when served. The garlic bread wasn't the best but it was okay. Price is comparable to any other Greek.

Yesterday we were here for the second time. The service is very nice, we liked the atmosphere and the food was really great. So guys, I can really only recommend number 50 from the menu. The other people's food was also really delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Screaming, very loud guests and children with loud switches, staff do not feel able to address them. In addition to being noisy, they were encouraged by the owner, probably her own family or the regular guests already mentioned in previous reviews. Unfortunately this time it absolutely ruined our meal. Even after repeated requests, there was no insight from the staff, we should just sit at the other end of the restaurant. Unfortunately our last visit there.

Facility somewhat outdated. Very cramped tables and chairs, not for stronger people or wheelchairs. Service was nice and friendly. The food was rather mixed. Meat was okay. Unfortunately, the minced meat was totally over-seasoned, potatoes with bechamel sauce tasted like they were soaked in mayonnaise and ajoli and were absolutely not edible. Cheese cream was the best part of the meal along with the white bread. Tzatziki, the flagship dish of every Greek restaurant, was acceptable, nothing more and nothing less... A bit bland... Price-performance ratio isn't quite right. No repetition is planned.

Our visit to this Greek restaurant was a disaster from start to finish. My husband and I have never eaten so badly - and we have been to many Greek restaurants. As soon as we arrived, the reception was cold and impersonal, the atmosphere seemed outdated and loveless. We could have ignored it if the food had been good, but unfortunately it wasn't at all. The food arrived after what felt like an eternity and was lukewarm, sometimes even almost cold. The dishes had no taste whatsoever and were obviously not freshly prepared. The meat was dry and tough, the vegetables were mushy, and the sauces were watery and unappetizing. No trace of Greek cuisine or flair! We were looking forward to a decent portion, but the portions were tiny and in no way commensurate with the overpriced prices. The service also left a lot to be desired. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed. Questions about the menu were answered curtly and with little interest, as if they were in a hurry to get rid of us. We felt anything but welcome and were hardly noticed during the meal. In summary: This was not only the worst Greek meal we have ever had, but also one of the worst restaurant experiences overall. The price-performance ratio is a disgrace and the service was subpar. We will definitely never come back and can only advise everyone to give this restaurant a wide berth!

We had to wait almost two hours for the food. The salmon dish was cold, expensive and very straightforward. The staff tried hard but were overwhelmed. You had to draw attention to yourself several times to order drinks. There was no independent request from the restaurant. We celebrated a birthday with six people, unfortunately with little joy.

We ate there today with five adults and one child and sat on the terrace. Tzaziki was poor with three small balls for the price, but the taste was ok. The starter salad was already wilting on the plate, the tomato showed signs of drying - so the salads had been prepared hours ago or perhaps the day before. The salad was at room temperature. The main courses were so-so. The gratinated gyros were quite dry and uninspired in taste, all in all carelessly prepared. The fish fingers for the child were not cooked through and had to be complained about. After ordering, we had to wait a long time for a second specialist. The service was quite friendly.

Restaurant that has reached retirement age with the owners. The terrace is more like a storage room. We actually wanted to eat, but we were worried if the outside looked like that, then what would the kitchen be like? After a drink we drove again.

As already written here, the so-called “Metaxa sauce” tastes a lot like tomato sauce. Overall, the outside seating area is pretty worn out and needs some maintenance. The staff was OK and came to the table quite often. The prices are pretty steep and, at least for our dishes, not worth the price.

I used to come here very often with family in the 90s. It was always a pleasant atmosphere, even for my kids. The food was great, the service was nice, and the owner was a perfect hostess. Went there again a few days ago for a long time and was very pleasantly surprised: once again great quality food, perfect service and enjoyed the pleasant, familiar ambience. There may have been a few hiccups in between: the old level seems to have been restored and we are looking forward to the next visits.

Ein ganz tolles griechisches Restaurant mit wundervollem uns sehr herzlichem Service. Wir hatte einige Vorspeisen, das Zsatziki war eines der besten seit langem, auch das Souvlaki war hervorragend gewürzt. Wir wohnen leider nicht in der Nähe, aber das Troja würde definitiv zu den Lieblingsrestaurants zählen.

Ordered something to take away today. Called an hour in advance so you don't have to wait to pick it up. And food wasn't ready. When it was ready after another 15 minutes, the waitress noticed that something was still missing from the order, so we had to wait another 10 minutes while the other food that was already ready got cold. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we got home that we noticed that the pork medallions we ordered were completely missing the meat. There wasn't a single medallion in it, so basically just under €20 for a sauce with mushrooms that didn't even taste good. The rest was also underground. So ordered there once and never again. An absolute disgrace.

We had a table outside under the terrace, there were cobwebs hanging on the windows and there was a very unpleasant smell there. So it hasn't been cleaned for a while. After we ordered and our food and drink came, the waitress didn't show up anymore. We would have liked to have had something to drink, but the other guests (probably regulars) They were probably more important. Ouzo was not served with the ouzo plate. The alleged Metaxa sauce was a tomato sauce. Never again for us!!!

So we can't say anything about the food because we left after 90 minutes without eating. Regular guests arrived 30 minutes after we arrived and they got their food before us, albeit after a 45 minute wait. There seem to be differences in how orders are processed in Troy. We were informed after an hour that the food was coming, which still wasn't the case after another 30 minutes. So we think that one star is still too many.

The main course was a disaster in terms of quality. Gyros very greasy, spicy sauce, a tomato soup, rice tasteless, there were no fries, liver coated with pepper. Plötzlich werden Kleinigkeiten die wir nicht bestellt hatten auf den Tisch gestellt, wir dachten als kleinen Gruß aus der Küche, später wurden über 12 Euro fällig für Dinge die wir nicht bestellt haben. Absolut unmöglich, insgesamt war das Essen ok aber nichts besonderes.

Essen sehr gut. Frechheit finde ich, bei einem gemischten Teller wollte ich anstatt Steak ein stück Leber. Für dieses wurde 3 Euro Aufpreis verlangt. Gutschrift für Steak gab es natürlich nicht

Ich hatte das Rumpsteak und es war echt lecker 😋 Das einzige was ein wenig kritisieren könnte, in der Karte stand, 300g - 350g. Mein Steak war höchstens 200g - 220g. Preis Leistung geht aber trotzdem voll in Ordnung. Kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach nur lächerlich die Portionen. Miserables Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Geschmacklich okay aber nix besonderes. Ambiente ist veraltet. 2 winzige Stücke Fleisch in Sauce und Brot dazu für 17,50 Euro. Ich hatte noch bei keinem anderen Griechen so wenig auf den Teller.
