Gyros, Suflaki and Suzuki all grilled to perfection. The Bifteki is also a delight. The taste is absolutely great, I've rarely had such a good Greek meal! The service is very attentive and quick. Absolutely recommended. Only the furniture could be modernized a bit.

Been to Plato for what felt like the hundredth time and always left full and satisfied. Service nice and attentive. Just go and try it out.

A large selection of dishes is offered at an acceptable price. The quality and preparation are more than decent. If there is good occupancy, you can expect some waiting time.

The service was very nice. The food was okay. I would have liked the gyros to be a little crispier and spicier. Calamaris were quite good, except for one ring...strangely. The fries weren't that great either, too limp. Bifteki was recommended.

A great Greek restaurant with a nice thematic atmosphere and very friendly staff. To start with, there was a welcome ouzo and it didn't take long before the drinks and starter salads were already at the table. For the dishes themselves, you can also choose fries instead of red rice, but the tzatziki has to be ordered separately, but it is homemade and tastes great. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

In short: never again! There was already a misdelivery of the drinks. Unfortunately, this continued during the meal because the side dish did not correspond to the description on the menu. The fish (fish plate with 4 types) was completely fried. There was nothing left that resembled fish. Totally dried out and tasted like fat. There was nothing more. After we finished eating, we waited another 20 minutes for a waiter to come and ask for drinks or dessert, which didn't happen. Then we went straight to the checkout, paid and left. Bad food, unfriendly service staff and scorching hot in summer. They'll never see us again.

Had souvlaki today. Ouzo first, with a salad, then the delicious souvlaki. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very nice atmosphere of 100% Greek. Opens on Saturday at 12:15 later the shop and the terrace is full. That actually says it all.

You look forward to a great dinner in a pleasant atmosphere and only find out when you get there that it is currently closed for vacation...😖 It's a shame that the operator doesn't provide information on its website (or on Google Maps) about how other large companies do it.

Hello, There is nothing on their website or on the Google page that says they are closed. We came from far away and recommend it. And were then greeted with a closed door and a note saying that the restaurant was closed and the staff was on vacation. I think it was super unprofessional and we all had to go to McDonald’s as an alternative. Thanks for nothing.

After a long time we were back in the Platon restaurant. You can always eat and drink well here. The portions are huge and everyone gets enough. The food is of good quality and solid. The service was top, our wishes were taken into account. There is a small minus point because one of three Suflaki pieces was unfortunately not finished. The restaurant is decorated in Greek style and has a good atmosphere. Whether as a couple or with a large group, you are always in good hands at Platon.

The Restaurant Platon deserves my highest recommendation! The quality of the food was outstanding, every dish was a culinary experience. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Overall, my visit to Restaurant Platon was a fantastic gastronomic experience that I would highly recommend to everyone!

This Greek restaurant has been there for years and is actually always packed. You should definitely make a reservation in advance... but no matter how full the restaurant is, you will always be greeted in a friendly manner. The salad is super tasty and crispy, fresh, the food is delicious - even if the salmon was unfortunately a bit "over" (dry) - the meat dishes are always juicy to the point. Despite the restaurant being full, the orders come quickly and the portions are good for your appetite. ;) The only "little drawback" is, depending on where you sit, that it can be a bit noisy due to the crowds in the restaurant and the air in the back part is unfortunately a bit bad (used). Price-performance ratio fits. We'd love to come back!

We stopped spontaneously as we were passing through. Around 6 p.m., we were already in the queue because we hadn't made a reservation. It only took 10 minutes, we were greeted with 2 ouzos and we had our table. All the employees were very friendly. After ordering, the side salad and drinks arrived. After another 10 minutes our food arrived. The gyros pan was very tasty, but the potato chips were very greasy, for which 1 point was deducted. The side salad had too much salad dressing for my taste. Large portions, everyone will be satisfied here. Payment was possible by card.

Very fast and friendly service. The food was quite good, only the lack of tzatziki with the meal irritated me. Maybe you have to order it in advance, I didn't know that.

Food and ambience good, service bad. We were there for dinner last night, the greeting was friendly, the order and the first drinks came quite quickly. But you quickly get the impression that the restaurant places a lot of value on its regular guests and that they are served that way. During our stay we weren't even asked if we had anything else we wanted, e.g. a drink etc. When I ordered the bill I asked the waitress about it and was told that we could have made ourselves noticed.

Every time we are here the food is perfect and the service is great. We'd love to come see you soon.

A Greek like from my childhood. You will receive a super friendly welcome, no matter how busy it is. You always have the feeling of being welcome. The portions are generous and it tastes great. The menu is very extensive and offers something for everyone. I recommend pre-ordering, otherwise there may be waiting times. A great restaurant.

Unser absoluter lieblings Grieche :-) und das schon seit über 20 Jahren. Das Essen schmeckt super, ist frisch und die Wasserflasche am Bett ( welche wir nach griechischen essen immer hatten) ist hier nicht nötig! Am Wochenende ist es ratsam einen Tisch zu reservieren, der Andrang ist hoch, was dem Restaurant eine gute Note gibt. Es lohnt sich hier eine Zeit zu verweilen und mit dem netten Chef und dem Personal ein paar Worte zu wechseln. Fazit: toll, toll, toll...

Leckeres Griechisches Essen in einem typischen Deutsch-Griechischem Restaurant Ambiente. Zunächst zum Essen, das war durchweg lecker und gut. Bei allen am Tisch. Die Portionen waren groß genug, dass jeder Satz geworden ist, lecker und preislich angemessen. Der Service war gut und es ging alles schnell. Lediglich das Ambiente, bzw. die Inneneinrichtung kann eine Generalüberholung vertragen. Das versprüht immernoch das 90er-Jahre-Griechisches-Restaurant Flaire, das definitiv seine beste Zeit hinter sich hatte... Aber dennoch ist ein Besuch empfehlenswert.

Immer wieder gerne. Leckere, große Speisen, vielfältig und immer ein Besuch wert. Häufig sehr voll, was dann auch zulasten der Laune des Personals geht aber insgesamt absolut eine Empfehlung und in der Gegend konkurrenzlos.

Ich hatte diesmal den Fischteller und war überaus zufrieden mit dem ausgewählten Gericht,. Alles war frisch und üppig. Besonders erwähnenswert sind alle Mitarbeiter, sie sind so von freundlich und immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht . Willkommen in Griechenland 💛💓💖

Super Fleisch und bestes Tsatsiki

Meine Eltern und ich gehen hier schon wirklich Jahrzente essen, und es ist immer sehr lecker, die Mitarbeiter sind alle freundlich, und mein Hund ist auch immer willkommen =)

Ich sage nur Dosenchampignons im Gyros-Pfännchen. Auch geschmacklich leider nur unterer Durchschnitt. Das Tarama war lecker, Service teilweise unaufmerksam

Unser absoluter Lieblingsgrieche. Wir kommen immer gerne hier her. Es gibt immer ein Plätzchen für unsere Familie . Das Essen ist perfekt und der Service hervorragend.

Ich besuche das Restaurant seit 10 Jahren aber heute wurde ich trotz Reservierung, nach 1,5 Stunden, gebeten den Tisch zu verlassen, aufgrund neuer Besucher ohne Reservierung. Der Kellner wurde von seinem Chef bösartig angebrüllt, da wir zu lange für die Zahlung brauchten. Der Chef sollte dringend eine Personalführungsschulung durchführen! Einfach nur schlecht

Die Tischreservierung per Telefon funktionierte hervorragend. Schnell und präzise. Tisch für 4 um 19.00 Uhr. Das Restaurant ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Parkplätze nur schwer zu kriegen. Die Menschentraube vor der Tür ließ nichts Gutes ahnen. Waren jedoch nur die vielen Raucher, die den Eingang blockierten. Nachdem wir uns durchgekämpft hatten, erwartete und drinnen das gleiche Bild. Eine Menschentraube die trotz reserviertem Tisch mehr als 20 Minuten warten muss. Offensichtlich herrscht bei der Reservierung ein heilloses Durcheinander. Die Zuteilung unseres Tisches verlief wie zu erwarten für uns schlecht, zumal ich mich über die Wartezeit vorher Beschwert hatte und wir den Uzo im Stehen abgelehnt hatten. Stühle und der Tisch waren in der Höhe eher schlecht aufeinander abgestimmt. Katzentisch würde ich sagen. Das Paar neben uns hatte es noch schlechter getroffen. Die Beschwerde über die lange Wartezeit war hier noch massiver und so wurden sie neben einer Säule im Durchgang platziert was zur Folge hatte, dass die Servicekraft nicht nur einmal das Besteck vom Tisch fegte. Unsere Getränkebestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen, die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und unsere Bestellung wurde freundlich umgesetzt. Die Vorspeise für alle war OK, das Brot dazu wäre leicht angeröstet besser gewesen. Die Hauptgerichte waren guter Durchschnitt und lassen noch ordentlich Luft nach oben. Hier wünscht mann/frau sich weniger Einsatz der Fritteuse. Die Kretanischen Kartoffeln aus der Fritteuse sind stark gewöhnungsbedürftig. Auch das viele Öl bei dem überbackenen Gyros sah nicht sehr einladend aus. Die Getränke waren eine glatte 1, die Gläser waren sauber und der Wein schmeckte. Der Service war etwas überfordert. Unser Fazit: Ein weiterer Besuch ist in den nächsten Jahren nicht geplant.

Both of our starters Dolmadakia and grilled cheese were microwaved and watery. The mousaka was microwaved and cut into to check if it was warm inside. Mushy and tasteless food. Alcohol is this restaurants only saving grace.

My second visit here, and I should have remembered the size of the portions...!!!! This time I ordered mezze starter, which came on an enormous plate.... good variety, ok quality. Only problem was, when main course arrived, I was already virtually full..!!!! Grilled meats done well, ok quality. Lager (Budweiser???), tasted very weak and watery, second beer was different and much better. Service was fine (didn’t experience any issues other reviews mentioned), and my server was very concerned I hadn’t eaten main course and offered to box up for me to take home - nice touch (I declined, as staying in local hotel). My previous visit was with a large work group and we enjoyed our meal. That time I had mixed seafood starter, which was huge!!! Overall, good simple value for money

Went there with my brother. We both took "mama speziale". A dish with calamares, gyros and fries. They brought the salad 10min in advance which we found odd. The plates were loaded with food. One plate is probably enough for 2 persons. The food was ok. The waiter was on auto-pilot, but we don't mind. We paid €35.80 for 2 plates and a bottle of water. Probably one of the better restaurants in Garbsen, but it would be very average in a major city.

Great atmosphere, amazing value, huge portions, free ouzo, and very efficient staff. Try the giros and calamari dishes.
