Unfortunately, the souvlaki was much too salty today. What a shame!

The food was excellent and the service was friendly. All in all, a fantastic Greek restaurant!

We ordered a platter for 4 with five people. It was super delicious, with plenty of meat and salad. It was so beautifully presented. We'll definitely do it again. A super friendly team and great chefs. Everything was perfectly set up and clean. Even our dog was allowed to come along and was the first to get a bowl of water. We were very satisfied.

Visited on August 22, 2025. Reserved a table for 6 p.m. The visit was a complete disaster. We had to wait standing for about 30 minutes. Other guests with reservations arrived after us and also had to wait. How can I accept a reservation if it doesn't work? The meal, lamb with pasta and baked cheese, was in a baking dish, but everything was separate. Baked is different. The meal wasn't relaxed; it felt like "eat, pay, and leave." Summary: Organizational disaster, food so-so.

Today (August 2, 2025), I found myself standing in front of a locked door – there was a sign on the entrance: Closed until August 14, 2025. However, online (e.g., Google) the store was listed as open. That's annoying, especially if you've made the trip. A current online notice would be welcome – it's simply part of being customer-friendly.

Very tasty food! Large portions at good prices. I haven't had such tender, juicy gyros in a long time! I'd be happy to come back for such great quality. Unfortunately, service was slow that day, and they didn't even check if everything was OK.

There's nothing to complain about with the food or the setting. The service is also very friendly 👍 The only criticism is the central sound system, which is supposed to serve both the indoor and outdoor areas. If you're seated near the system, having a conversation is quite tiring, but if you're sitting at the end of the room, the voices at the neighboring tables drown out the (Greek) music. Two or three small speakers distributed around the room, at a more discreet volume, could easily create an even more pleasant atmosphere 😌

A classic Greek restaurant with the typical dishes you'd expect. But there are also less typical dishes, which makes it exceptional. Highly recommended and the service is very friendly!

The first restaurant I discovered in Garbsen 30 years ago. Since then, it's been my first stop for eating out or taking food. I love the spaghetti pan, and my family loves everything else too. The best tzatziki I've ever had. I've always been completely satisfied with my meal. Thanks to Zoe, Kosta, and the friendly team.

Pulled a table away from ours and we had to squeeze in. Yes, it was full and some were already queuing. But that's not our problem in this case. Then we wanted to swap something out for a dish, and they just said that if you don't like it, you can leave it on the plate. We were kindly thrown out after an hour through the flower. She then asked whether she should take the test from dinner home with her. We were then given plastic plates and aluminum foil and were allowed to pack it up ourselves. Really now? Then my daughter hurt herself and cried. A waiter asked me after 5 minutes if I had tried to put a lollipop in her mouth to make her calm down. Hello? Are you crazy? I am extremely disappointed after all these years. For me it's just the end of the day. This wasn't the 70th Bday you'd imagine in a restaurant.

We had a reservation and went there for a birthday dinner. We were made to understand very quickly, through the flower, that we had to hurry up and not take the reserved table for so long, as various guests were already waiting (who, by the way, had not reserved). When we kindly asked if we could please have the food that we hadn't made packed up, plastic bowls and aluminum foil were thrown on the table and we were able to do it ourselves. Food good. Service unfortunately poor. There were many guests on site who were waiting for a table, and we were clearly informed “through the flower” that we should finally leave. However, we were only there for about an hour. While we were still eating, people asked if it should be packed. We were given plastic soup bowls and aluminum foil and were allowed to scrape our own food off our plates. After I asked if I could get something else instead of beans, I was told “just leave it alone”. Conclusion: very unfriendly, staff seems more than stressed. Just don't ask any questions 👍🏽 for us not a second time.

The “Greek” (or whatever we Germans think he is) who feels like he’s always been in Berenbostel! The atmosphere is classically unchic, but you know where you're going. The service professional and friendly - as always! There is little experimentation when it comes to food, but here too - the quantity is right and, above all, it tastes good! By the way, the ouzo comes first - and in individual cases "on the house" afterwards!

It's just a standard Greek in a Germanized way.. No original Suflaki like in Greece.. The gyros are okay but totally overpriced for the price.. In general the prices are far too high. They just have their regular customers... This shop was still good until 2011/2012, when people found out how Greek tasted in Greece. But staff is friendly.

Gyros, Suflaki and Suzuki all grilled to perfection. The Bifteki is also a delight. The taste is absolutely great, I've rarely had such a good Greek meal! The service is very attentive and quick. Absolutely recommended. Only the furniture could be modernized a bit.

A great Greek restaurant with a nice thematic atmosphere and very friendly staff. To start with, there was a welcome ouzo and it didn't take long before the drinks and starter salads were already at the table. For the dishes themselves, you can also choose fries instead of red rice, but the tzatziki has to be ordered separately, but it is homemade and tastes great. In short: never again! There was already a misdelivery of the drinks. Unfortunately, this continued during the meal because the side dish did not correspond to the description on the menu. The fish (fish plate with 4 types) was completely fried. There was nothing left that resembled fish. Totally dried out and tasted like fat. There was nothing more. After we finished eating, we waited another 20 minutes for a waiter to come and ask for drinks or dessert, which didn't happen. Then we went straight to the checkout, paid and left. Bad food, unfriendly service staff and scorching hot in summer. They'll never see us again.

Had souvlaki today. Ouzo first, with a salad, then the delicious souvlaki. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very nice atmosphere of 100% Greek. Opens on Saturday at 12:15 later the shop and the terrace is full. That actually says it all.

You look forward to a great dinner in a pleasant atmosphere and only find out when you get there that it is currently closed for vacation...😖 It's a shame that the operator doesn't provide information on its website (or on Google Maps) about how other large companies do it.

Hello, There is nothing on their website or on the Google page that says they are closed. We came from far away and recommend it. And were then greeted with a closed door and a note saying that the restaurant was closed and the staff was on vacation. I think it was super unprofessional and we all had to go to McDonald’s as an alternative. Thanks for nothing.

After a long time we were back in the Platon restaurant. You can always eat and drink well here. The portions are huge and everyone gets enough. The food is of good quality and solid. The service was top, our wishes were taken into account. There is a small minus point because one of three Suflaki pieces was unfortunately not finished. The restaurant is decorated in Greek style and has a good atmosphere. Whether as a couple or with a large group, you are always in good hands at Platon.

The Restaurant Platon deserves my highest recommendation! The quality of the food was outstanding, every dish was a culinary experience. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Overall, my visit to Restaurant Platon was a fantastic gastronomic experience that I would highly recommend to everyone!

This Greek restaurant has been there for years and is actually always packed. You should definitely make a reservation in advance... but no matter how full the restaurant is, you will always be greeted in a friendly manner. The salad is super tasty and crispy, fresh, the food is delicious - even if the salmon was unfortunately a bit "over" (dry) - the meat dishes are always juicy to the point. Despite the restaurant being full, the orders come quickly and the portions are good for your appetite. ;) The only "little drawback" is, depending on where you sit, that it can be a bit noisy due to the crowds in the restaurant and the air in the back part is unfortunately a bit bad (used). Price-performance ratio fits. We'd love to come back!

We stopped spontaneously as we were passing through. Around 6 p.m., we were already in the queue because we hadn't made a reservation. It only took 10 minutes, we were greeted with 2 ouzos and we had our table. All the employees were very friendly. After ordering, the side salad and drinks arrived. After another 10 minutes our food arrived. The gyros pan was very tasty, but the potato chips were very greasy, for which 1 point was deducted. The side salad had too much salad dressing for my taste. Large portions, everyone will be satisfied here. Payment was possible by card.

Food and ambience good, service bad. We were there for dinner last night, the greeting was friendly, the order and the first drinks came quite quickly. But you quickly get the impression that the restaurant places a lot of value on its regular guests and that they are served that way. During our stay we weren't even asked if we had anything else we wanted, e.g. a drink etc. When I ordered the bill I asked the waitress about it and was told that we could have made ourselves noticed.

A Greek like from my childhood. You will receive a super friendly welcome, no matter how busy it is. You always have the feeling of being welcome. The portions are generous and it tastes great. Unser absoluter lieblings Grieche :-) und das schon seit über 20 Jahren. Das Essen schmeckt super, ist frisch und die Wasserflasche am Bett ( welche wir nach griechischen essen immer hatten) ist hier nicht nötig! Am Wochenende ist es ratsam einen Tisch zu reservieren, der Andrang ist hoch, was dem Restaurant eine gute Note gibt. Es lohnt sich hier eine Zeit zu verweilen und mit dem netten Chef und dem Personal ein paar Worte zu wechseln. Fazit: toll, toll, toll...
