Tres Tapas in Berlin

Great atmosphere, lots of fun, great food and drinks. Every evening at Tres Tapas is a beautiful experience. 🇪🇦

Very bad service, the boy did not clean the table or pick up the dirty dishes nor did he know how to make a miserable cocktail or prepare a miserable beer. And calling this Spanish food seems like a bit much to me.

Long time customer but unfortunately this was our last time. 1) Tapas proportions have gone considerably smaller. The Albondigas had nearly no sauce 2) 14€ for some potatoes that have barely some octopus on them (?! ) if you don't have the ingredients than pull it out of the menu 3) Baby calamari are mostly dough and had barely any taste. We had to order another plate hoping that the first plate was a fluke but unfortunately second plate also disappointed 4) Small piece of bread to be shared among 3 people and no aioli served with it ( some other reviewers say they charge 2.5€ for it. Happy I didnt order it). I remember the times when we had a nice loaf and aioli served while waiting for our wine. The good? Waiters are friendly and the Croquetas are still delicious but not worth coming back for and paying a ton of money for small portions. Damn shame..

Friendly, but catastrophically inattentive - unfortunately it has to be said - bad service. Ordered dishes were sometimes only delivered after three (!) requests and after over an (!) hour. Tables next door were not cleared during the entire time we were there, not to mention our own table. We had to put the dirty dishes on the floor to make room. The tapas we ordered were tasty and good overall, but unfortunately some were only lukewarm. At least the bread with alioli was not charged at the end.

Un peu de soleil dans la grisaille Berlinoise. Nous avons très bien mangé dans ce restaurant comme en Espagne. L’accueil est souriant et sympathique. Nous avons pris un plateau de tapas très bien fourni et très goûteux avec 2 verres de vins que le serveur a re rempli un petit peu sans le facturer. Super sympa.

Great Calamari and Patatas bravas!

Very good tapas. Better than anything we have had in Madrid. Smooth Rioja.the friendly staff were happy to chat with us in our rusty german, English and basic Spanish Highly recommend

Our spontaneous visit turned into a special experience and at prime time on Saturday evening! We felt welcome and without a reservation! A very attentive service that made the evening ours. And don't forget the tapas - a tasting festival!!! We will have fond memories of the evening and the place - especially since it was where we had our first date 13 years ago. We would love to come back Diane & André!

Four of us ate here last Sunday. The service was ok...the food came quickly, although the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. When it came to eating, there was nothing to complain about. ...Now the big BUT, when we were served the bill. This was missing the extras such as aglio e olio and bread and 2 glasses of Sauvignon. The waiter said it was not possible for him to add these 3 components to the bill and wanted me to pay €157 instead of the €133 on the bill. Only after a short discussion and after requesting a receipt for entertainment did we receive an invoice or the correct invoice. Which ultimately only amounted to just under €154. The waiter apologized several times, but I am sure that there is a method there and that it is not the customer who is being tried to cheat, but probably the owner as well.

We asked for the cheese table, it was so disappointing, only a very few slices of cheese for 14 €, the most expensive dish and very poor. The rest of them were ok. The waiter says that we didn't realize it was so poor since he doesn't eat cheese.....

Atmosphere is great and service too. As a Spaniard, I can tell you that food is really subpar compared our standard. Tortilla was bland and dry, the sauce of the patatas bravas was not it (no alioli or smoked flavour to it). There are other Berlin restaurants getting this right. The portions are also quite small. Price/performance is unfortunately not there.

Tres Tapas was once our favorite Spanish restaurant, but after our last visit we are now looking for an alternative. The service was subpar and the waiting times were extremely long. Some of the waiters didn't understand German without letting us know. Therefore our order was ignored several times. The price-performance ratio was not at all good with such service.

Food was very delicious. The Paella was very good!. The calamari was also very good, and crunchy!. Also the wine was very good!. One thing I did not appreciate was when the server offered us olives and bread, he made it seem like it was free, he should have said do (you want olives and bread it is an extra charge for it), If he would have said that I would not accepted it!. So that being said pls advise your customers that it’s a charge for them, Because then we were forced to pay for it, that honestly made me upset so won’t be coming back. To the owner: I did not get anything for free so pls don’t lie I have my receipt. Also yes I understand I could have asked, but your server could have said it’s a charge. The way he offered it was said like this ( “I will bring you olives and bread is that fine”) and of course I would say yes because it implied it was part of the service. So once again. Pls let your customers know there is a charge for it. I was not the only customer upset about this, we had a table near us that also had the same issue, and I gave two stars not because the food, food was amazing, staff was very nice, but of the misinformation with the olives and bread was very misleading and that’s my issue. And this response is also not very nice, I’m a customer, and I’m just telling you pls let customers know that there is a charge, just correct it, I don’t need a backhanded response. So to anyone that goes here when they offer you olives and bread there is a charge ❣️💸.

Food portion is not enough, tried multiple dishes, the taste is fine but the portion size is way too small for the price. Also the waiter took 55 minutes to appear to take our order and the food again took 30 minutes. (Went there during Euros 2024 Spain vs Germany)

Unhöflicher und anmaßender Chef. Er sagte mir als wir reingingen laut und vor allen Gästen und vor meiner Begleitung, dass er den Geruch meines Parfums als „aufdringlich“ empfindet. Kann er ja finden, nur dann entweder für sich behalten oder mich diskret zur Seite nehmen. So war es eine für mich sehr unangenehme Situation. Das war auf jeden Fall mein letzter Besuch. Er war übrigens der Einzige, der das so empfand. Das restliche Personal war sehr freundlich.

Rude and overbearing boss. As we walked in, he told me loudly and in front of all the guests and my companion that he found the smell of my perfume “intrusive”. If he can find it, he can either keep it to himself or discreetly take me aside. So it was a very unpleasant situation for me. That was definitely my last visit. In fact, he was the only one who felt that way. The rest of the staff was very friendly.

Staff and kitchen seemed overwhelmed and exhausted when the place was full during a soccer game.

Lovely Spanish dudes inthe middle of Berlin don't come for a Spanish football game if you require speedy service, otherwise really very recomendable

Tres Tapas: A piece of Spain in Berlin Tres Tapas is a Spanish restaurant that is very popular. The offer includes a variety of typical Spanish dishes that are freshly and lovingly prepared. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and ensures that guests feel comfortable. The restaurant offers enough space both indoors and outdoors. Depending on the weather, you can dine outdoors or in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant.

We were visiting for my mother's birthday. It has actually always been our favorite Spaniard and we went to Pberg especially for it. But the last two visits were disappointing. The service is nice but that's about it. There wasn't much going on and the waitress and waiter were extremely overwhelmed. Drinks took time. Our request to close a door/window front was not complied with. It was 19 degrees outside and all of the restaurant's window walls were open. It was drafty and just cold. There was no alternative to another place because ALL the doors were open. We were told off at least 6 times that the doors would be closed immediately, but that didn't happen. My grandma caught a cold during the course and the mood in the evening was dampened. If we had known in advance that the doors would remain open, we would have gone. No doubt it's nice in the summer, but not when the temperature drops to 19 degrees in the evening. Food was delicious. Wine wasn't good. 56€ a bottle, too expensive for the quality and far too cold for red wine. We won't be coming back for a while.

We went for a meeting and I thought the place was good, in particular the attention of a girl from Uruguay.

Super bad service, long waiting time, hardly able to criticize. Was below average. The young manager jokes when everything goes wrong in the evening. For us, 220 euros is a lot of money when we go out to eat, we are not demanding but that was the worst gastro performance in a long time.

We waited 20 minutes for the wine?! Food came beforehand, then left again because they noticed that the wine wasn't there. Food is usually good but overall it was just kind of weird...

Best tapas restaurant in Berlin

We came as guests and left as friends The warmth and friendliness of all the employees is remarkable. Hospitality is very important here. I went to this restaurant for the first time with my wife for her birthday. Two days later we went there again with our family. The food and service was excellent both days. The next time we are in Berlin again, we will be happy to visit this restaurant and its friendly staff again. Kind regards from Westphalia Andreas M. and family

A very nice restaurant with a large outdoor terrace and very tasty typical tapas of excellent quality. The fish soup was also very good. We always feel very comfortable here. The service is very attentive.

Tapas and aoili of the best quality, cappuccino could taste a little better, unfortunately a bit stuffy when the restaurant is very busy, the waitress forgot to order a bottle of water the first time.

Very nice, attentive service and nice atmosphere. We ordered a Selección de Tapas for 2 people (38€) - The portion was large, but we would have expected more choice of tapas for the price - we ordered the dish without meat and mainly got vegetables (mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, Potatoes). The only fish available was fried calamari and anchovies

Delicious tapes at fair prices and nice staff. Sangria is also very tasty. You can have a very relaxing evening there.

A highly recommended Spanish restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and very tasty food, where even the waitress seems to have just arrived from Spain. It's easy to escape everyday life for a few wonderful hours in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg. We will definitely be back and anyone who hasn't been yet should definitely give it a try very soon.

Last year I wrote a very good review. It was really great back then. So we wanted to have another delicious evening. But unfortunately complete disappointment. We had 11 Spanish starters. Of these, 5 were moderate. The tortilla was totally tasteless. The croquettes with ham, what was that? I think a Spaniard would have sent many things back straight away. I thought I was alone in my taste, but no. There were four of us. And the others also agreed with my opinion. What was also very negative was the long waiting time. We waited about 45 minutes for our starters. That doesn't work for me at all. The restaurant was not full. And as the word suggests, we're talking about appetizers. I'll keep an eye on you. But you are no longer my first choice in P.berg!

Very authentic, rustic and cozy. Food very good.

We were there today for Valentine's Day. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of Prosecco. Unfortunately everyone else was served, except us. The only negative point. The food was super tasty. We can recommend the prawns, salad, anchovies and champions. Keep it up.

We stopped by for a drink. It was interesting both customers and servers spoke Spanish.

We can recommend the tapas in a typical Spanish atmosphere. It's not cheap, but it tasted very good. We found the atmosphere appealing, but that's a matter of taste. Only the music was a bit dominant, and one speaker was loud. All in all, we'd love to come back.

Und plötzlich waren alle unsere Lieblingskellner:innen weg. Langes Warten. Kein spanisch mehr. Schade! Wir waren riesen Fans. Koch aber noch da! Haben ihn gesehen. Essen sollte noch super schmecken. Nur leider wurde unsere Bestellung vergessen und wir bekamen nach einer Stunde weder Getränk noch Essen. Ich weiss nicht ob wir wieder kehren. Wir vermissen das alte Team sehr ❤️

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort. Alles super lecker , die Babycalamaris mein absoluter Favorit. Alle Tapas kamen in der perfekten Größe. Perfekt zum teilen. Kleine aber interessante Weinkarte. Der mallorcinische Rose schmeckte super nach Erdbeeren. Preise absolut angemessen.Die Einrichtung schlicht und geschmackvoll. Der Service war angenehm herzlich und unaufdringlich. Toilette picobello. Danke für einen tollen Abend.

Das Essen und der Wein waren gut! Der service nicht vorhanden, dreckige teller und gesprungene Gläser an denen man sich schneidet. Die Rechnung 160 Euro für nix … nicht nicht nochmal

Leider höchstens durchschnittliche Tapas für sehr hohe Preise. Service überfordert und vergesslich. Lage und Ambiente sind fantastisch, dennoch keine Empfehlung.

Typischer Spanier mit netter Ausstattung und typischer Speisekarte. Nette Bedienung. Speisen waren soweit gut und lecker, aber auch nicht der Brüller. Durch die vorhandenen Holzstühle und fehlende Filzgleiter unter den Füßen ist der Geräuchpegel auf dem Fliesenboden leider sehr hoch. Ansonsten zu empfehlen.

Essen und Service sind super. Preise haben etwas angezogen, sind aber noch OK.

Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht von unserem Besuch. Wir mussten furchtbar lange warten, obwohl das Restaurant nicht wirklich voll gewesen ist. Der Service hat sich auch nicht einmal gemeldet und Bescheid gegeben. Die Gerichte haben auch nicht die sehr teuren Preise gerechtfertigt. Da gibt es andere Tapas Lokale, die preiswerter und besser sind. Die Ayoli und das Brot waren richtig lecker, ansonsten wurden wir leider nicht überzeugt.

Die Tapasplatte war sehr gut, nur schade, dass man keine Gerichte auswählen kann.

Nice atmosphere, delicious tapas served in generous portions, and very kind service.

La location è molto carina, con gli interni adornati di dettagli delle regioni tipiche spagnole. Gli sgabelli con tavoli alti per mangiare, a me non piacciono, li trovo decisamente scomodi. L'aspetto che non mi è piaciuto per niente, è l'equilibrio qualità - prezzo: 1l di Sangria, 24€ è un furto e mera SPECULAZIONE. A tenerife luogo turistico e terra spagnola in un ristorante elegante e di qualità 1l lo paghi 14\15€, aggiunti costi importazione? Ma anche no. Qualità delle tapas non pessima, ma neanche eccezionale.

Tolles Lokal. Bei viel Betrieb immer mal wieder leicht überfordertes Personal aber immer einen Besuch wert und man spricht spanisch. Die Tapas sind sehr lecker.

The food was fine, but the waiter tried to scam us and insisted on a wrong sum for the food even when I did the maths for him. I insisted on the bill and as it turned out I was right.

The food was really unimpressive, lacking flavour and freshness. The olives were inedible, the calamari were bland and soft. On top of that, on a Friday night, the staff was nice but service was extremely slow, taking ages to ask and get the food or another drink. Definitely not coming back

Falscher Betrag auf der Rechnung, natürlich zuviel . Sehr teuer insgesamt. Die Bedienung war nett aber ist nur selten an den Tisch gekommen. Die Location ist super gelegen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, total nette Bedienung. Man sollte sich im Vorfeld darüber im klaren sein, dass es kein günstiges Restaurant ist, aber, das Essen und das Ambiente sind den Preis wert. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und unbedingt vorher reservieren, sonst sieht es nicht gut aus für euch.

Das wichtigste: Bei Tres Tapas gibt es gute Tapas. Leider sind die Portionensgrößen für den Preis nicht angemessen. Schade! Service ist nett, aber langsam und überfordert. Ich werde Tres Tapas wohl nicht mehr besuchen.
