Traumzeit in Hamburg

Looking for something nice to sit and watch football on Saturday evening. Walked around in St.Georg (like it was extinct) and looked, but didn't find anything for a long time. Then passers-by got the tip “Hansaplatz”. The Traumzeit was almost empty, but football was playing on 2 TVs. Very tasty food (pizza and spaghetti Bolognese) with 2 Alster water and a cola. Total cost €40.- Conclusion: Everything was done right that evening (as far as food and restaurant are concerned) the only drawback: Baumgart was fired from HSV...

Small, beautiful, but above all important a pleasant volume

The food was good to okay, the tarte flambée was tasty, but I would have expected more for the almost 15 euros of the Cevapcici flatbread... but the service was still very nice and attentive, the toilets were rather dirty

Not recommended, potential customers are not allowed to go to the toilet because it is “forbidden” for the respective customers, even though they said “of course I will buy something too”. So such behavior is really just unfriendly and outrageous. Not recommended

The place is all right. The food was too salty and cold. Paying was a nightmare all the stickers on the door with all payment with all existing card payments but they act like all the sudden their machine is broken. We had to walk so far to get cash that night. If they want cash that needs to be clear from the beginning don't recommend 👎👎👎

The huge screen is annoying and distracting but otherwise it's very nice.

Simply fantastic and a fantastic time, the food was tested over two days just like the drinks. The service was always friendly, tried hard to fulfill every wish and was attentive. I can recommend the Alsatian style tarte flambée and the tiramisu, and as a drink I can highly recommend the Aperol Spritz. But the steakhouse plate was also very good, as was the spaghetti Bolognese.

A nice restaurant and bar not too far from Hamburg Central Station. The place has a nice ala carte menu and good drinks. Outdoor and indoor seating. The host was very nice and welcoming and present, which is important. A good place for lunch and dinner, or just something good to drink.

The place is really cozy, the service is good, the food is fantastic and you don't have to wait long. If you are for drinks try "Hugo" is not so good. The waiters were in a super good mood all the time and they make sure you don't miss anything all evening

Newly arrived in Hamburg, lazy to cook. Traumzeit was perfect! A few minutes from the central station. Copious and very good currywurst, warm atmosphere, lanterns and blankets on the terrace. Affordable price.

I'm in Hamburg for the Euros & have been coming here regularly. Love the large range of food on offer, the multiple TV scenes, and the laidback atmosphere. But it's the superb service from Stefan that really makes this place! I & friends come back here just for him. He's fast, funny, helpful & mega-professional in his job. Well done!

I ordered the “Dream Time” plate for breakfast. The scrambled eggs were good, the juice was good... and then I wanted to put Nutella on some bread, but at the beginning the first thing that came out on the bread was brown oil or water... I looked on the back and yes, the Nutella was too old. Today June 4th, 2024...an expired date of February 24th, 2024.... I showed it to the waitress and he went back and apologized...But I couldn't eat any more...

Excellent service!! The place is wonderfully located, in a square with a nice view. The food was excellent, and has vegan and vegetarian options, something I always have a hard time getting. Stefan has been our waiter, he has been very pleasant and has served us very well!

Best drink and service in town🙌🏻 We were a few friends who tried to find a good place to watch Hamburg SV against Kiel but couldn’t find a place to watch the match before we came to this cozy place!

Very good restaurant for a quick lunch or a good time in the evening. The two servers are wonderful, very attentive and friendly, and the tomato soup is irresistible.

My girlfriend and I ate outside, so we were also able to smoke. Service was very nice, we were often given something and chatted with us. There were a few annoying guests who were a bit unpleasant and the waiter paid attention to that too. Pizza was very tasty.

The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Everything is a bit “run down” and you get the impression that the details aren’t really taken care of. Dusty plastic flowers as far as the eye can see. The counter is packed with the waiters' personal belongings. The food was quite okay. Unfortunately, requests are not taken into account. My colleague asked to leave out the tomatoes from the salad because he has an ALLERGY. It was only given a quick nod... and still packed with tomatoes. A pity! He couldn't eat the salad like that. In addition, if you speak the owner's language, it is very uncomfortable to sit there because the waiters are constantly scolding, complaining and throwing swear words around. For me personally it was a big no-go.
