Unfortunately, it was disappointing: We waited an hour for a plate of spaghetti with wild mushrooms. The pasta was burnt and stuck to the bottom of the plate, and the sauce was sour... unusual. A shame.

A beautiful spot with a magnificent view of the Bille River. A very well-kept, attractive restaurant with friendly and very attentive service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing. The appetizer platter for two looked promising, but lacked flavor, and the spaghetti carbonara arrived barely seasoned. The dessert was disappointing; I've never had a worse tiramisu. Brown pastry base garnished with a pile of cream and cocoa powder. What a shame. The evening was nevertheless very enjoyable thanks to my lovely companions.

We celebrated our wedding at Oro with 25 guests and couldn't be happier! The food was simply fantastic — all guests loved it. The choice between fish and meat was perfectly balanced and our favorite dishes, such as the pasta with wild garlic pesto and lamb or with pistachio pesto and shrimp, were a real highlight. The portions were just right: by splitting it up with a starter platter and the main course at lunch, as well as pasta and dessert in the evening, everyone was full, but no one felt too full. The drink selection was also great, with great rosé wines and individual drinks that we really enjoyed. We would also like to particularly emphasize the flexibility of the restaurant: it was opened especially for us and we had a lot of freedom in planning. The staff was super nice, accommodating and in a good mood all day long — that underlined the lovely atmosphere. Our guests repeatedly commented on how exceptionally good the food was. We are now regulars and not only celebrate special occasions, but come almost weekly because we simply love the store and the people there. Always happy!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend begrüßt. Wurden zu unserem Tisch begleitet und mit einem Lächeln willkommen geheißen. So einen Empfang haben wir auch noch nicht erlebt. Wow. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten Spargel mit Schinken und Hollondaise Soße. Die junge Kellnerin war sehr fröhlich. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Today we first went to this restaurant with three people, followed by another one about an hour later, after making an online reservation. After we came in, we had to wait in the middle of the restaurant for several minutes because the lady at the bar had to talk extensively with a guest, a small child in her arms, about babies, children and similar important topics (of course she had seen us) while both other waiters disappeared into the kitchen. So you feel very welcome! When someone finally asked for our name/reservation, we were shown our table which was then illuminated in the manner in which the candles were lit and SLAMMED onto the table. All in all, the food was good, but unfortunately the “service” leaves a lot to be desired.

They are now regular guests. Most recently at the end of January for my 60th birthday. Everything fit. Food again very fine with the best ingredients. The tuna to the point. Everything is great and worth the money. A real enrichment for Bergedorf.

Four of us came here for dinner and had a very nice evening. Everything was just right, from the very friendly and attentive waiter to the food itself and the dessert. We really liked the cuisine, great atmosphere and the daily recommendations. Absolutely recommended! (We had mussels, saltimbocca, pizza tuna and penne tacchino, all dishes were excellent!)

Overall, we had a successful evening there. We were a large group of 14 people, so it took a little longer for some people to get their food. But that's understandable. The service was very friendly, but could have been more attentive. We all had nothing left to drink and I asked the waitress whether we could order something. She then only took my drink, only brought mine and only after asking again were other drinks taken from the others. The food was delicious, everyone was happy. And everything was there: salmon, pizza, pasta... The price was also super fair.

Zur Geburtstagsfeier haben wir am 15.12.24 einen Besuch geplant. Fad Essen war gut, auch wenn bei den Steaks das Grammgewicht reduziert wurde. Eine der beiden Damen, die bedienten, gaben ein Glas Sekt aus. Das fanden wir sehr nett. Bei der Bezahlung wurden knapp 8,00 € Trinkgeld gegeben. Den Gesichtern nach zu urteilen, war die Bedienung damit nicht zufrieden und der Abschied fiel dementsprechend kühl mit finsterer Miene aus. Das war sehr enttäuschend. Wir werden aufgrund dessen nicht mehr das Block House in Bergedorf aufsuchen. Schade.

Unfortunately there is very little for the money here. A shop that is completely overpriced for the few noodles that are served. The quality was OK but in no way justified the price.

Leider waren wir gar nicht zufrieden, und die Dame antwortete schnippisch auf unsere Fragen, ob bei dem Burger auch eine Beilage dabei wäre,: , das weiß man doch!! " Damit wussten wir es leider noch nicht ... Als das überschaubare Essen dann kam, baten wir um ein Extra Brot, darauf hin bekamen wir die sehr unfreundliche Antwort: " Na, Sie sehen mich wohl gerne laufen " . Sorry, aber das ist kein guter Kundendienst. .

We've been to Oro 3 or 4 times, even after the registry office, which was opened especially for us. In our opinion the best Italian in the surrounding area, definitely the best in Bergedorf. Food, service etc. is always perfect, sitting inside and outside by the water is very comfortable and cozy. We always enjoy coming here!!

Nice restaurant, located on the Bille. Five minutes walk to the train station. We spontaneously went there on a Saturday evening after swimming. And were warmly welcomed and served! Dropping by spontaneously wasn't a problem either. It was beautifully decorated outside and you could immediately feel at home. When it comes to food, the menu is small but nice. And something for everyone. The day menu is particularly recommended as it offers regional and seasonal specialties. Truffle season is currently in full swing. I chose the tagliatelle with truffles covered in a delicious parmesan topping. First of all, there was bruschetta as a greeting from the kitchen, very accommodating! The price was right and the food was very tasty! We'll be back!

2 people 83€??? 1 pasta truffle (€25.50) 1 x pasta shrimp (€22.50) 1 water 0.75 (we ordered without looking at the price) And 2 glasses of wine (€6.50 each) I can't get to €83. Then the water must have cost over €20. Stupid of us for not asking for the bill and generally not mentioning the price still annoys me to this day. Be sure to ask for the bill!! Portions rather smaller. And yes, truffles are expensive but if you go out to Hamburg and go to “higher class” restaurants, I have never paid €25.50 for truffle pasta. In the end, the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. It's a shame, it was really nice by the water. Waiter still nice. Once and never again

My absolute favorite Italian! A really great atmosphere with very friendly and courteous staff. All of the food is reasonably priced because it is always delicious when we are there. Keep it up, we'll always be happy to come back! :-)

We sat outside by the water, but had to call attention to ourselves several times to get the menu or drinks. The service was friendly, but seemed clumsy and not very experienced. When asked what kind of drink that was (Campari with ? and what kind of pasta dish is that is hidden behind the name ....), he couldn't give any information. We would have expected the waiter to at least be knowledgeable in order to give us a coherent answer. I then ordered another drink and was surprised with the pasta. The portions were tasty, but manageable. Unfortunately we felt the prices were overpriced.

This is my third time eating at ORO. This time I was even able to sit on the cozy terrace right by the water. Both the service and the food were top. I can only recommend everyone to come to ORO.

Very tasty and cozy. Prices and portions are absolutely OK, although there are restaurants in Hamburg with even better pizza. Still a good and solid Italian restaurant with a nice outdoor terrace - sometimes a beaver swims by ;)

The Oro is not only the best Italian, but the best restaurant in Bergedorf. But that is always subjective. The pizza at the competition, which is within walking distance, is, for example: more expensive and not nearly as good! The food here is always absolutely top, there is nothing wrong with the service, very friendly and attentive! And the location is in no way inferior to the other restaurants in the area, neither indoors nor outdoors! We would love to come back often! 👌✨

After the registry office, we had a wonderful afternoon at Oro with our guests and celebrated our wedding. The atmosphere in the restaurant and by the water is unique in Bergedorf. The staff is super friendly, courteous and considerate. We and our guests enjoyed the food very much and we are happy to give this restaurant 5 stars!

Zur "Lunchtime" (Mittagstisch) bestellten wir für 13,50 Euro "vier kleine Steaks" mit Pfannengemüse und Backkartoffel". Vorweg gab es einen Salat. Wir warteten mehr als eine halbe Stunde auf unser Essen. Als wir es serviert bekamen, waren wir entsetzt, den es gab nur "ein kleines Steak" von ca. 120 g, das in vier Teile geschnitten worden war. Da es spitz zulief, war das vierte Stück gerade mal ein Bissen! Das Gemüse triefte vor Fett und die Kartoffel hatte schon so lange im Ofen gelegen, dass sie weich wie Pürree war und leicht süßlich schmeckte! Wenn es sich um ein kleines Steak handelt, sollte man es auch schreiben. Alles andere ist unseriös. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen!

Wirklich ein sehr netter und entspannter Abend mit Familie. Die Steaks und Beilagen waren wirklich ausgezeichnet. Hatte lange kein so perfektes Steak mehr genossen. Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, und der Preis war letztlich moderat.

We ate there yesterday with 7 people. Before I start the light flickered constantly and horribly, which was really the worst thing in the evening. 6:40-7:05 p.m. = 25 minutes until everyone was there. We were able to order at 7:37 p.m. Of course only upon request from us. At 8:03 p.m. we had the drinks. 8:18 p.m. the starters 8:50 p.m. the main courses We had to order our drinks each time by request. You could tell that the service wasn't in the mood. In my opinion, the food was of solid quality, but not recommended and correct for the expensive price. I am a trained chef and master chef for a pizza with dough, cheese, truffle oil and some grated truffles. €20.50 is disproportionate. Overpriced food, poor service and a 4 in terms of taste The last time for our team and me. You have to know!

Heute haben wir das Lokal das erste Mal besucht. Wir waren wirklich begeistert. Beginnend mit einem sehr leckeren Anti Pasti Teller, dann weiter mit drei tollen Nudelgerichten und zum Schluss ein schöne Nachspeise, einfach klasse! Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis ist einwandfrei. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Meine Erwartungen an italienischer Küche sind übererfüllt worden. Rote-Beete-carpaccio, Pizza funghi, dazu ein Glas primitivo, zum Abschluss ein Tiramisu. Bestens!

Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Vor allem auch sehr hilfsbereit zu meiner Mutter mit ihrem Rollator

Sehr lecker gegessen (Vitello Tonato, es wurde extra nochmal Sauce neu gemacht, da es etwas wenig war, wie der Kellner sagte) und Nudeln mit Scampi (sehr lecker, gute Scampis). Sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und an den Tisch geführt. Hier ist noch eine richtige italienische Küche zu finden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut bei der Wahl der Speisen beraten. Ich entschied mich für das Lammkarree für knapp 40€, welches allerdings auch wirklich sehr zart war, mit Trüffel und Soße angerichtet wurde. Es war damit seinen Preis wirklich wert. Dazu gab es etwas gekochten Gemüse (Brokkoli und Karottenscheiben) und Kartoffelecken. Zuvor gab es eine leckere Bruschetta aufs Haus für alle. Als Nachtisch bestellte ich eine Mousse au Chocolate, die nicht auf der Karte stand. Auch diese war sehr gut zubereitet und serviert. Alles in einem ein sehr guter Italiener. Wir sind begeistert gewesen nach unserem ersten Besuch. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir hatten die wundervolle Gelegenheit, unsere kleine Tauffeier in diesem charmanten italienischen Restaurant zu veranstalten, und es war einfach perfekt! Die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend, und das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war hervorragend! Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert war alles frisch zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Die italienische Küche hier ist ein wahres Highlight, und die Auswahl an Gerichten ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Möglichkeit, unsere Feier in einem so gemütlichen Ambiente auszurichten, hat den Tag wirklich unvergesslich gemacht. Wir sind dem gesamten Team des Restaurants sehr dankbar, dass sie diesen besonderen Anlass für uns so besonders gestaltet haben. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen, sei es für eine intime Feier oder einfach nur für ein köstliches italienisches Essen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und weitere kulinarische Abenteuer hier genießen.

Ein Juwel in der ansonsten recht tristen Bergedorfer Restaurant-Landschaft. Tolle, wechselnde Gerichte. Schönes und gemütliches Ambiente und ein kompetenter und freundlicher Service!

Wir waren durch Zufall dort am 27.10.23 essen. Wir wurden auf italienisch begrüßt, was wir persönlich schon echt toll finden. Die Gerichte, die nicht auf der Karte stehen, wurden uns selbstverständlich auf deutsch zugetragen. Wir haben vorweg, aus der Küche, Bruschetta erhalten. Geschmacklich war das schon wirklich sehr gut. Wir haben eine Salamipizza und Spagetti mit Meeresfrüchten bestellt. Die Pizza hatte eine gute Größe und die Pastaportion auch. Geschmacklich haben wir nichts zu beanstanden. Zu unserem Essen hatten wir ein Glas Rotwein, ein Weizenbier und eine kleine Flasche Wasser 0,2 zum Preis von 52 Euro.

Da meine Freundin den Namen von dem einen italienischen Restaurant in Bergedorf nicht wusste, waren wir heute durch Zufall das erste Mal dort. Wir haben es nicht bereut. Super freundlicher Service, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, wunderschönes Ambiente und mega leckeres Essen. Auf Sonderwünsche bzw. Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten wird selbstverständlich Rücksicht genommen. Wir kommen gern wieder. Dankeschön für den schönen Abend!

Wir waren einmal wieder im ORO und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Es ist mir etwas unangenehm: waren heute zum Essen hier und mein Trinkgeld viel etwas bescheiden aus, nicht richtig gesehen und das obwohl wir einen von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend Service, Super leckeres Essen - die Trüffel Pasta sind sehr zu empfehlen - und wunderbar angenehmes Ambiente hatten. Recently visited Hamburg with my wife and eating at this restaurant's terrace by the water was really impressive. The delicious food and great service only complemented our experience. Definitely, hoping to be able to eat at this place again in the future.

Das ORO in Bergedorf ist ein authentisches italienisches Restaurant mit charmantem Ambiente. Ein wenig Tischdekoration könnte das Erlebnis noch stimmungsvoller gestalten und das italienische Flair verstärken. Das Essen ist zweifellos lecker, vor allem die gut zubereitete klassische Pasta hat mich überzeugt. Geschmacklich gibt es nichts zu bemängeln, alles ist perfekt. Jedoch waren die Preise für die Tagesgerichte etwas höher als erwartet. Ich hätte mir daher eine gewisse Kreativität und außerordentliche Tellerpräsentation erhofft. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn alle Gerichte auf der Speisekarte im Google zu finden wären, um die Auswahl vorab zu erleichtern. Zudem wäre es praktisch, eine ausgedruckte Rechnung zu erhalten, anstatt die Gesamtkosten nur mündlich mitgeteilt zu bekommen. Insgesamt bietet das ORO eine angenehme kulinarische Erfahrung mit authentischem italienischem Flair. Mit einigen kleinen Verbesserungen könnte das Restaurant noch mehr Glanz erlangen. Eine Empfehlung für alle, die klassische Pasta in gemütlicher Umgebung genießen möchten.

22.07.2023 Auch heute haben wir wieder hervorragend gegessen. Wir haben wieder sehr gemütlich unten am Wasser gesessen. Das Personal war wie immer sehr nett. Gemütliches Restaurant. Nettes Personal. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichend. 21.07.22: Wir haben auch der erweiterten Terrasse am Wasser gesessen. Man ist in Bergedorf aber mitten in der Natur. Die Bedienung war wieder sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ich hatte ein perfektes lammfilet vom Grill.
