Despite a reservation, after more than 45 minutes of waiting, no table was available. The food is supposed to be good, but since there wasn't a table available for us, I can't judge that

Was there for a company party. Restaurant is not big and comfortably furnished. Food tasted very good. Service was sometimes a bit overwhelmed with 70 guests but friendly and helpful.

Food was tasty and came quite quickly. Unfortunately the salad had no dressing whatsoever. Now to the absolute disaster: the store is so overcrowded. They are taking more reservations than they have tables. Some of the guests eat at the bar! After dinner, guests were seated at the bar and received a hot drink on the house so that the table was free and the next person could sit down. It doesn't work at all! Never again...

An Italian restaurant, as is typical in Germany. Pasta and pizza normal standard. Dishes on the daily menu are a bit more interesting, but completely overpriced, such as the spaghetti with truffles for just under 30 euros. The price also includes the open wine, at around 8 euros for a glass of simple table wine. The service was completely overwhelmed by the crowded restaurant, not really friendly. The tables are so close that you have physical contact with your neighbors. The new guests, who still have no space, also stand in groups at the entrance and bring additional stress and cold air. The waitress is noticeably happy when you have finally paid. Really no atmosphere to relax or have a quiet conversation. I definitely won't come here again.

We had a reservation for 4 people, we arrived on time, but we had to wait 45 minutes for our table and there was no corresponding accommodation. The waiting time until our order was taken was 30 minutes. You can't complain about the food. Price-performance is top here.

Were there for the first time and will definitely come back. The starters and main courses were very tasty. Very good wine selection. Great ambience and good service! Be sure to reserve!

Really great Italian restaurant with nice service, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere!

I recently visited this restaurant and had one of the most disappointing dining experiences. Once our order was taken, we were left waiting for more than one hour to get our drinks while the food never arrived. After around one half an hour we gave up and left the restaurant without dining. We felt like we were unwelcome in that restaurant. The lack of attentiveness and unacceptable wait times completely overshadowed any potential positives about the food itself. Dining out is supposed to be enjoyable, but our experience was stressful and frustrating. I would not recommend this place unless major improvements are made to their service. Very disappointing!"

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. I ordered red wine, a shandy, bruschetta and pasta. After over an hour, the wine was finally brought to me, followed by the beer - both drinks came far too late and far apart. The bruschetta wasn't served until another 15 minutes later. After over two hours of waiting for the main course, we finally gave up and left the restaurant without our food. I've never experienced anything like this before. The service was extremely slow, the staff seemed overwhelmed or not very motivated. There was also no apology or explanation for the delays. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting a relaxing evening and a good meal.

Riva is without question one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited. Particularly noteworthy are the spaghetti in a Parmesan wheel, which can be ordered either with or without truffles. A true taste experience that offers the perfect balance between creamy cheese and al dente pasta. For truffle lovers, the version with truffles is a must - the flavors complement each other perfectly! The tiramisu is also an absolute highlight: airy, creamy and just the right amount of sweet coffee flavor. It's really hard not to immediately want more after one bite. The ambience at Riva is also a reason why you feel so comfortable here. The cozy tables and small niches create a warm, intimate atmosphere in which you will enjoy lingering. Perfect for a relaxed evening for two or in a small group. The service is simply first class. The waiters are not only friendly and attentive, but also have a deep knowledge of the wines on offer. Her recommendations were always a hit and went perfectly with the food. The price-performance ratio is also right. You get outstanding quality for your money and feel completely comfortable. Riva is definitely worth a visit – again and again!

The expectations of our spontaneous visit to the Trattoria Riva in the west of Stuttgart and the appetite for a good pizza 🍕 were fulfilled. We will definitely come back and try other dishes from the well-stocked menu.

The Riva is one of the classic Italian restaurants in Stuttgart. Centrally located, a bit hidden in a small side street, with a fairly limited selection of dishes. The pizza is well made, the fish soup, which you can get one of the portions that sell out quickly, is extremely tasty. My meal today was the salad with vegetables and burrata. Top! Bistecca Fiorentina Chianina…. I don't know where else I can get it served in Stuttgart. The tiramisu is more of a cream slice with chocolate sauce and not really recommended. The Espresso Afogato, on the other hand, does. You should definitely make a reservation. The restaurant is quite small and always busy. In summer there is also a small outdoor area.

Top Italian in the west of Stuttgart, regardless of whether you just want to eat a quick pizza or want to spend a nice evening with wine and Italian specialties, you can always eat right here.

Trattoria Riva restaurant located on the Senefelderstrasse, Stuttgart serves delicious Italian cuisine including Pasta, meat, seafood, veg dishes and Pizzas. We enjoyed a family lunch on a bright sunny day in the outdoor seating. We ordered Pils Beer, Coke Zero, Martini Rosso & Blanco for drinks, Salami, Rucola & Gorgonzola Pizzas with Panna Cotta for dessert. The dishes were delicious, fresh, well cooked, not spicy, delicious and authentic. The staff are helpful and great. Would love to visit again.

Last time I visited I would have given 5 stars for the service. This time the waiter wasn't in a good mood! Everything else is great!

We used to love coming here, but today was our last time. Both waiters seemed stressed and were very rude. There was neither a greeting nor a farewell. The waitresses turned away from conversations and ignored our concerns. Nobody cared that there were larvae swimming in the vinegar dispenser. The quality of the food used to be good but has also declined. The seafood salad for almost €20 is no longer recommended due to its now manageable size. A pity!

Muy fantástica comida italiana y ambiente a un gran precio. Tenía una lasaña fantástica, pizzas y el pastel de chocolate era el acabado perfecto. Puede que no se vea increíble desde el exterior, pero vale la pena visitarlo.

I can't quite understand the good reviews about the friendliness. The waiter seemed annoyed and stroppy. We definitely won't go here again.

Very nice service staff also very child-friendly. Pizza was great even with special requests. Unfortunately, the meat dish came out wrong at first, then the sauce tasted like mayo - but it was supposed to be cognac cream, the meat itself was wonderful and very good quality.

Some people may think that the unfriendly awkwardness is authentic charm, but we simply no longer feel welcome. Since the pizzas are now dripping with fat, it doesn't make up for it anymore

The service was extremely friendly, even though there were a lot of guests there. Very attentive! The food was very tasty and filling. Overall, a very pleasant visit to the restaurant. Gladly again!

Riva is without question a very tasty Italian restaurant. You only get a place if you have reserved. Unfortunately the service can be improved. We were only able to order a wine after the third request. We got the espresso at the counter because the waiter had forgotten about us again. A pity.

Food very, very good, well seasoned, very good selection, sufficient even for large eaters, especially for me the fresh seafood salad, actually everything recommended, service very friendly, recommended very well attended. Reserve a table, you can also eat outside 💪😂😜so off to Riva, bon appetit

I've known the staff for a very long time! I eat there every week and the food is simply delicious! If you want really good Italian food, then you've come to the right place. 😉

It is now the second time that I walk past the restaurant and see cockroaches fighting for their lives because poison bait seems to be laid out in the restaurant. That's just the three that were still fidgeting, not to mention that there were more dead animals. Even spiders die there and fall from the masonry. I would stay away from there because there seems to be quite a problem with cockroaches and whether you want to eat something with poison in the store is a question.

You will be warmly welcomed at Riva. The ambience is very simple for a trattoria, as Riva wants to be, but it still has a clear line, which is typical for a restaurant of this category. You feel good. The restaurant was quite busy for the late hour (around 10 p.m.). The food was very tasty and we rated it as very good across the board. The materials used were fresh and of good quality. The only point of criticism where the service staff can still improve is that if you order 3 dishes, you get everything at the same time and you can then start eating together. With 2 pizzas and a pasta dish, that should be doable. Time difference about 6 minutes and that's a bit long. Otherwise, I can of course recommend the Riva without reservation and we will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening and see you soon.

Das Essen war insgesamt befriedigend, wenn auch eher Masse als Klasse. Eine Unterhaltung war aufgrund des Geräuschpegels leider nicht möglich. Wir sind dann zum reden woanders hingegangen.

I have been visiting for lunch for many years. Always good quality at an affordable price. Friendly and prompt service. Unfortunately, since 2024 the side salad has been replaced by soup. I really miss the salad and that's why I rarely go there anymore. Tip: why don't you offer a side salad as an additional bargain?

It has what it takes to become your favorite Italian restaurant around the corner, whether Mare e Monti, Linguine Frutti di Mare or truffle spaghetti from a parmesan loaf, everything is really excellent. Unfortunately it's difficult to find a parking space there, but the Feuersee S-Bahn stop is 50m away.

The outside of this restaurant is very nice and a bit classical. Once entering the restaurant my initial thought was the atmosphere here is amazing with jazz music in the back and a buzzing room full of people and food. I ordered the Diavolo pizza and the presentation was pleasant, the crust was close to perfect and the tomato and cheese felt like fresh good quality food, staff was fast and well time, the food itself took no more than 15 minutes to arrive, overall a very good restaurant will come back and definitely will recommend.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Essen ist super von Antipasti über Pizza und Pasta bis zum Tiramisu, gute Weißwein-Empfehlung. 2 Minuten zu Fuß von der S-Bahn Haltestelle Feuersee.

Leckeres und frisches Essen . Meeresfrüchtesalat war lecker Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen waren perfekt Guter Service Kommen wieder.

Unfortunately one of the worst pizzas I had this year so far. Normally a really good place according to some fiends - could be that the pizzaiolo was sick the day we went and someone else had to take over. Will have to give it a 2nd try.

Vorspeise und Nachtisch waren wirklich gut, aber leider waren die Spaghetti ziemlich in Parmesan getränkt. Da blieb vom Trüffelgeschmack nicht mehr viel übrig.

War schön öfters hier, da ich um die Ecke arbeite. Heute war des essen einfach mega!! Sangiovese perfekt. Aber das Highlight war nicht nur eine hübsche, sondern auch super freundliche Bedienung. Trotz Stress immer ein Lächeln. Das liebe ich.... Bis bald also mal wieder.

Lockere Atmosphäre mit gemütlichem Außenbereich. Umfangreiche Tageskarte. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung! Preislich sehr angemessen. Service aufmerksam und zuverlässig.

Seit 15Jahren komme ich ins Riva, für mich die beste Pizza im Westen, das Entrecôte ist ein Traum und die Bedienung ist unaufdringlich aufmerksam. 5/5

Hier war ich schon zum zweiten Mal essen und war wieder rund um zufrieden. Auf der Karte stehen original italienische Gerichte. Die Auswahl ist gerade richtig. Hatte den gemischten Salat mit Räucherlachs und Burrata - ein Traum und als Vorspeise sehr üppig. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir sind sehr unfreundlich empfangen worden. Noch nie musste ich mich als Gast dafür entschuldigen ein Gast zu sein. In diesem Laden ist es so! Das Essen ist war nix Besonderes. Von Service und Dienstleistung gibt es hier nix zu sprüren. Da geht man lieber an einen Kebap Stand, dann freut man sich nicht auf ein schönes Essen beim Italiener und wird dann so enttäuscht.

Eine meiner Lieblingslokale, auch für unseren Donnerstags-Stammtisch. Immer gute Küche!!!

Wir kamen zu zweit, hatten nicht reserviert, jedoch haben wir nach kurzer Wartezeit am Freitagabend zwei Plätze bekommen. Unsere Frage, ob es eine bestimmte Rebsorte gäbe, wurde leider direkt mit einem abfälligen Kommentar des Kellners/ Chefs ("Gott sei Dank nicht!") beantwortet gefolgt von einigen wenig verständnisvollen Äußerungen hinsichtlich unseres Weingeschmacks, was das danach folgende, sehr leckere Abendessenerlebnis leider etwas trübte. Die Flasche Wein, die der Kellner uns zum Essen empfohlen und dann ungefragt ausgeschenkt hat, war jedoch sehr gut und preislich absolut fair. Uns gelang es im Verlauf des Abends durch ehrliches Interesse am Restaurant und der kalabrischen Kultur das Herz des Kellners zu gewinnen (wir bekamen sogar noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus); allerdings hoffen wir auf einen besseren und einfühlsameren Start beim nächsten Mal... Für schlagfertige Freunde authentischer italienischer Küche sicherlich eine Top- Adresse!
