Cavallino Spaghettaro in Stuttgart

We spontaneously went to eat in the restaurant before going to the musical. Very good and special food, very friendly service and we felt very comfortable. Thank you

Zufällig entdeckte ich das "Cavallino" in der Stuttgarter City und entschloss mich, den Mittagstisch zu testen. Das Restaurant macht von außen nicht viel her, aber die komplette Karte einschließlich Mittagskarte war ausgehängt. Die Außenterrasse - zu einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gewandt - schlummerte noch im Winterschlaf. Ich wurde freundlich begrüßt und konnte mir einen Platz aussuchen. Das Restaurant war um 12 Uhr noch schwach besucht. Es gibt kleine Zweier- und große Tische. Gleich im Eingangsbereich gibt es italienische Lebensmittel, Öle, Wein und Süßigkeiten zu entdecken und zu kaufen. Ich wählte ein typisches italienisches Essen, dazu Getränke. Dazu kommt eine Suppe oder ein Beilagensalat nach Wahl. Dieser Mittagstisch war genau richtig. Der Doppio zum Abschluss war besser als in vielen, vielen Stuttgarter Restaurants! Die Preise waren für Stuttgart angemessen. Ich bin neugierig geworden, wie das Essen und die Weine der regulären Karte sind. Ich habe erfahren, dass es hier auch glutenfreie Gerichte gibt. Ich werde also wieder hingehen!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. We experienced extremely friendly service and our dishes and the tiramisu for dessert were very tasty. I can highly recommend Cavallino Spaghettaro and look forward to my next visit there.

A great little Italian restaurant on the corner of Höhe Str. and Leuschnerstrasse. The food is good, the service is very friendly and the prices are moderate.

Four of us went here for dinner. Me and a colleague had the lasagne, the other two each had a pizza. The pizza was good and it was even gluten free! The lasagne, on the other hand, wasn't that convincing. A lot of sauce, which was also relatively watery. As a result, the pasta plates were also very soggy. There were also a bit few pasta plates, so you almost only had sauce in every bite. Otherwise it tasted ok, but nothing special. But what really wasn't so great was the waiting time. We all had to wait a long time for our food and my colleague had to wait a lot longer for the gluten-free pizza (we lasagne eaters were almost finished when the pizza came). The price is a little higher, but still ok. However, all the operators were very, very friendly. The ambience is also very nice! Would I come back? Well, the experience was somewhat spoiled, but perhaps the long waiting time was just an oversight. Maybe I'll give the restaurant a second try, but then I'll definitely not try the lasagna again...

My favorite pizzeria in Stuttgart, especially the whole grain and gluten-free versions!

We were at another restaurant before. Unfortunately there was no more space here. The staff then called here and we found accommodation. Food and service absolutely great. Only one star deducted because the restaurant is very small and cramped. Will definitely come again, but with prior reservation.

Cold and carelessly furnished. But still warmer than the unfriendly service. Stubborn and listless... We left the restaurant hungry again after more than 20 minutes without being served. However, looking at the map the prices are already obviously overpriced. No loss.

The New Year's Eve menu was very expensive and the selection was small. Mediocre in taste.

Four of us had lunch here. I thought the service could be better. Prices are ok so far. There is only a small amount of parking available for a fee. Not barrier-free. You can sit outside in summer.

Reservation Sunday 6 p.m. with 4 people. Very cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately we waited 15 minutes until someone noticed us and the order was taken. Unfortunately, this inattention continued throughout the entire stay. Basically, super nice and friendly employees. Starters were ok, although the minestrone was very lightly seasoned. Main courses solid to good, although a small weakness was also noticeable here - I know SCALOPPINA AL VINO BIANCO as small, thin "schnitzel", here really thick pieces of meat were served. The taste was very good, unfortunately some of the vegetables were fried too much (burned). Overall there is still room for improvement. We'll be back and can recommend it because the bottom line is that the overall experience was great.

Very tasty gluten-free and vegan pizza. In general, there are a lot of gluten-free and vegan options. There are also whole grain variants such as whole grain pizza dough. Desserts are also available in vegan and gluten-free versions and everything was very tasty. Service was also very courteous and well informed about allergies. All gluten-free dishes are marked with a sticker so that there is no risk of confusion. All around great!

The staff was nice, the place was pleasant, the prices were ok (we had the lunch menu), but the food itself just wasn't that good, so overall the experience wasn't really worth it... salad, soup, pizza, pasta, dessert , everything so-so. I would have preferred to pay more and have better food :/ Also, the food took quite a long time to arrive and one of us asked for toppings for his pizza but didn't get it. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Extremely bad service, we waited 25 minutes for the drinks. Then everything came at once including food. Worst meal at an Italian restaurant ever. Hard shrimp and strangely smelly shrimp with spaghetti. Never again!

We went for a spontaneous family dinner. We ordered the spaghetti del mare, pizza margarita and veal scallopini. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! The veal was tender, the pizza was perfect and the seafood sauce was awesome.

I have never eaten such a crispy gluten-free pizza before, even the cold leftover in the evening was really tasty! We would love to come back! 😁

From the original best gluten free pizza to the worst I now live in Cologne and am always happy to come back to my Swabian homeland. My friend wanted to make me happy and surprise me with my favorite gluten-free pizza. The disappointment was huge. The dough has been changed and is completely dry. The pizza was in the box for a maximum of 5 minutes before we ate it. Unfortunately, I have to be honest: I have eaten a lot of bad gluten-free pizzas. That was one of the worst. Plus 15€ per pizza. No comparison to before. The last time we were here was a year ago. So unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. Very unfortunate...

Good food, but the service was a bit chaotic and the waiting times were a bit long

The ravioli portion was surprisingly small; For €16, only four ravioli were served with an uninspired ricotta and spinach filling. That's €4 per raviolo that isn't even homemade. The "Special" spaghettoni, served in a bowl, was swimming in butter and was completely tasteless. The presentation seemed careless and inattentive. Overall the food was disappointing and unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food - such fresh bruschetta & caprese. Also thoroughly enjoyed the bazucca (calzone) and bolognese Lovely friendly & fast service. And a really nice outdoor seating area to enjoy the lovely weather in. Loved it so much we went twice in 24 hrs.

Only bad. Went there and ordered pizza. After an hour we asked what it looked like. We were then violently attacked and shouted at. I have no idea whether the lady had a bad day or whether she always treats customers like that. Definitely a no go for us. We were then asked to leave the “restaurant”. But that wasn't a loss in my eyes. So conclusion: very, very bad. I can't describe it any other way. I can only advise everyone not to eat there or to wait for their food... because there was no food.

Very bright, modern atmosphere, but at the same time very cozy. The outdoor area is also very nice with privacy protection from plants and large parasols. The menu offers a wide variety with a certain focus on pasta - which is what the name suggests. ;-) There are also very good fish and meat dishes and always very good special dishes on the daily menu. The wine selection is very good and varied. The service is very friendly and accommodating.

Absolute favorite restaurant in Stuttgart! If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant, you should go here. The food is excellent and as a vegetarian there is finally a choice that tastes so good! For dessert I would recommend the Tartufo Nero to everyone 😍

We reserved a table today at 6:30 p.m. Were there at 6:30 p.m., reported us and still had to wait 20 minutes until we got a table. It's stuffy inside, too crowded and the portions are small.

Good pizza but bad service and desserts. Pizza tasted good. Ordered desserts they were semi-finished products and were overpriced!! The service- waited half an hour to receive our bill. Reminded more than 3 times.. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place:(

Essen war gut. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit dort und hätten wahrscheinlich besser das Tagesessen nehmen sollen, weil die Wartezeit doch ziemlich lang war. Aber dafür hat es geschmeckt.

Hier sind auch zölis (Glutenfreie Pizzen und Pasta sogar Nachtisch). Sehr gute Pizza. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Einrichtung würde eine kleine Pflege ertragen. Aussentische bräuchten einen neuen Anstrich.

Authentisches italienisches Erlebnis - Ein kulinarisches Highlight! Gestern hatte ich mit meiner Frau das Vergnügen, im Il Spaghettaro in Stuttgart zu essen, und wir wurden restlos begeistert! Das Ambiente des Restaurants versprüht eine gemütliche und herzliche Atmosphäre, die einen sofort in italienische Urlaubsstimmung versetzt. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich, was unseren Abend zu einem angenehmen Erlebnis machte. Meine Frau genoss die "Spaghetti alla Chitarra" und schwärmte von der perfekt al dente gekochten Pasta mit einer köstlichen und authentischen Sauce. Ich selbst wählte eine Pizza und einen Salat - beide Gerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet und übertrafen meine Erwartungen. Die Qualität der Zutaten und die Liebe zum Detail waren offensichtlich in jedem Bissen. Die Pizza war herrlich knusprig mit einer großzügigen Auswahl an frischen Belägen, und der Salat war knackig und wohlschmeckend. Auch die Getränkeauswahl ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir probierten einen erlesenen italienischen Wein, der perfekt zu unseren Gerichten passte. Das Il Spaghettaro ist definitiv ein Ort, den wir gerne wieder besuchen werden. Es bietet ein authentisches italienisches Erlebnis mit exquisiter Küche und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft. Es war ein kulinarisches Highlight für uns, und wir können es jedem empfehlen, der echte italienische Küche liebt. Super lekker eten, vooral de spaghetti frutti mare in folie (heel veel, vers, 7-8 verschillende zeevruchten in bakpapier)! De rode huiswijn is ook heel goed. Vriendelijke bediening!

Essen war okay, aber leider Vorspeisengröße zu Preisen von Hauptgerichten. Einfach viel zu teuer. Die Einrichtung sehr kühl und spartanisch, muss man mögen, mein Fall wars nicht bei einem italienischen Restaurant.

Gemütliches kleines Restaurant direkt am Berliner Platz Hohestraße. Pastaportionen sind sehr groß, die Schale für zwei reicht locker aus, was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist bei Pasta in italienischen Restaurants. Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob die Pasta wirklich selbstgemacht war, die Soßen waren jedoch lecker. Preislich fair, Personal sehr freundlich.

Ich hatte für gestern Abend einen Tisch auf ca.22.00Uhr im Ristorante Cavallino Spaghettaro reserviert. Da die Veranstaltung deutlich länger ging als von mir gedacht sind wir erst um kurz vor 23.00Uhr im Restaurant eingetroffen. Auf Nachfrage gab es für uns noch warme Küche und wir wurden freundlich, zuvorkommend und höflich bedient. Meine drei Gäste aus Salzburg waren sehr erstaunt darüber so spät noch so gutes Essen zu bekommen. Die Chefin hat uns die ganze Zeit sehr aufmerksam betreut. Meine Freunde aus Salzburg werden das nächste mal wenn sie hier in Stuttgart sind dem Cavallino Spaghettaro garantiert wieder einen Besuch abstatten. Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Ich hatte mich den ganzen Tag auf gute Pasta gefreut. Die Spaghetti Grana Padano waren eher mittelmäßig und wurden lauwarm/kalt serviert, was nicht zum stolzen Preis passte. Die Servicekräfte machten einen arg lustlos Eindruck.

extrem schwacher Service , bestellen konnten wir erst nach Ewigkeit , Warten auf Nachtisch bestellen , warten auf Rechnung sogar aufs Rückgeld ewig gewartet . Spaghetti lauwarm serviert - Trüffel kaum was zu sehen - besser kein Trüffel anbieten oder 2,3 Euro mehr nehmen- jein Vergleich zum ursprünglichen Cavalliono ! Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft Fehlanzeige ! Atmosphäre = 0 tosche so eng gestellt das man nichtmal problemlos aufstehen kann ! Zum Glück gibt's kein Corona mehr !

Zur Mittagszeit bekommt man hier jede Pizza für 9,00 EUR Sehr freundliches Personal. Im Außenbereich sind die Tauben leider störend. ... lieber Drinnen essen

Wir wollten eigentlich zu den Haupt Restaurant von Cavallion, aber haben spontan den Cav. Spaghettaro gefunden. Super Ambiente (mit draußen sitzen) und ein recht gutes Angebot, hatten Pulpo als Vorspeise (als Kenner.....war der echt gut gemacht und sehr Zart) das Hauptgericht, Sepia vom Grill ( leider ohne Pesto) und Tages Empfehlungen, die gefüllten Risen Tortollinis waren sehr gut gemacht mit Wein und Wasser und abschließen wie es gehört ein Espresso und Canduchi mit ein selbst gemachten Limoncelo hatten wir ein sehr netten Abend mit sehr gutes Service
