Trattoria Piloni in Stuttgart

I thought the pizza was delicious. The toppings were delivered as requested without any problems! Service was slow but friendly. Unfortunately, the garlic oil was a bit fermented; mine always tastes like that after it's been sitting for 2-3 days.

We've been here many times, but yesterday was our last visit. The service yesterday seemed very stressed. The guests were treated very unequally, which we quickly noticed. There was hardly any friendliness. Now, however, to our food and drink experience: We each ordered a Pilsner – there was sediment floating in it, and the beer wasn't cold either. That was the first moment of disgust. It was dismissed as "normal" – sorry, but that wasn't the first time we'd had a beer ;) We ate anyway. I had the pizza from the daily special (with shrimp) – my husband even ate a small portion of it. What can I say?! Today consists of taking medication and thinking everything through again. Sorry, Team Piloni, but you won't be seeing us again.

Only the mixed salad for €9 was a bit disappointing; it consisted only of green lettuce and three strips of carrots, and unfortunately, no tasty dressing. We would have expected a bit more, but next time we'll just skip the salad. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Unfortunately, one of the worst restaurant experiences in a long time. We arrived and ordered at 6:05 PM: a Caprese salad, a gluten-free pizza with salami, gluten-free pasta with seafood, and water. About five minutes later, another waitress came over and asked again if we had already ordered and what exactly – apparently, the staff themselves didn't know. The salad arrived after about 10 minutes. The portion was small and disappointing: 3 slices of buffalo mozzarella, a few halved cherry tomatoes, about 6 green olives, and a few leaves of green lettuce – definitely not the Caprese you'd expect. After that, nothing happened for a long time. The gluten-free pizza arrived at 6:59 PM, and my pasta didn't arrive until 7:10 PM – over an hour after I ordered it. The pasta wasn't fully cooked – not "al dente," but clearly still raw, as if it had only been boiled for 3 minutes. The pizza was also disappointing: We paid an extra €1 for the gluten-free version, but it was clearly pre-made supermarket dough and much smaller than the regular pizzas. So, again, the quality wasn't what you'd expect for the price. I politely told the waitress that it had all taken far too long. Her response: "Sorry Signorina" – no "I'm sorry," no genuine acknowledgment. Instead, she was noticeably annoyed, as if I were the one overreacting. I found that disrespectful and completely unprofessional. I returned the pasta and told my partner I didn't want to stay any longer. We only paid for what we had received up to that point – pizza, water, and salad – and that was €34. It was definitely too much for what we got. Conclusion: disorganized service, long waits, mediocre food, and no real interest in the customer. We definitely won't be back.

Service was beyond poor. Incredibly long wait times, the wrong food, the waiter unclear about the difference between burrata and mozzarella, and payment was not possible at the table but at the counter. €0 tip, and I won't be returning.

The day before yesterday, three of us went to this restaurant and ordered three pizzas. What followed was simply outrageous. We had to wait over two hours for our food, despite asking the staff three times. We were repeatedly told we were "next" or "next," but nothing happened. Meanwhile, we watched as guests who arrived long after us received their pizzas much sooner. After 1.5 hours, my friend was insulted by the waitress when she asked, and she simply walked away. On the third attempt, after two hours, a waiter simply mockingly told us to go to the kitchen and ask ourselves. We then wanted to at least pay for our drinks and leave the restaurant, but the waiter simply ignored us and ran away like an offended child. We never received a bill, nor an apology or any kind of understanding. We then had to go inside to pay ourselves. I have never experienced such disrespectful and chaotic service. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended. Anyone who values ​​good service, honesty, and fair treatment should steer clear of this restaurant.

We had a reservation for 7 people to celebrate a birthday. After we ordered, we had to wait an hour for the first food to arrive. After another 10 minutes another meal was brought. Then we waited another 5-10 minutes, hoping the missing 5 dishes would come soon, but that didn't happen. Then I asked the waitress when the rest would come, as we would love to eat together (I thought something like that could be expected in a restaurant, but probably not here). At some point the last meals arrived with a delay and we were put off with a “sorry” as we passed by. I am really shocked by such unfriendly and above all incompetent service. Mistakes happen to everyone, but not coming to the table once to ask if everything is okay, let alone sincerely apologize, is rare. So if you want absolutely disinterested service staff or long waiting times, this is the right place for you.

Pizza Margarita was good, service too, lots of families with children and therefore rather noisy

Yesterday we ate at this restaurant which was really excellent. The food was great, the service was impeccable—even though the guys were working long hours, they were gracious and helpful right up until the end. When it came time for the bill, the boss told us €40, much less than the actual value of what we had received. I was impressed that he didn't care about the profit, unless he gave the money to the church. I wanted to pay by card because my friend was missing €5, but for some reason he didn't like that. In the end, probably because he was annoyed by the conversation, he didn't let us pay anything. I don't believe I did anything wrong, except maybe not getting the boss's daughter's Instagram. As for the dessert, it was terrible! Although I didn't eat it all because I'm on a diet, it was really delicious. In any case, we appreciate his good mood and next time we will make sure to show our appreciation in our own way. When something is worthwhile, it deserves recognition.

Nice little pizzeria on Bismarckplatz. We got a table without a reservation on Sunday lunchtime. The place was busy, and the reception was friendly. We had pizza and a tuna salad. Both were delicious. We'll be happy to come back if we're in the area again.

The places in the sun in front of the restaurant are always very nice, especially in summer. If the weather is good or on the weekend, it is advisable to make a reservation otherwise take with you and eat at Bismarkplatz ;)

Excellent price-performance ratio. Authentic Italian dishes at fair prices. Portion sizes are typical “primi” and “secondi”. So it's probably not enough on its own(!) as a whole meal. Paired with starters and desserts, it is more than filling. You get a good feeling in your stomach after eating here. The terrace overlooking the traffic-calmed area is very attractive in summer and when it gets colder, it is comfortably furnished inside.

I'm a full-time business woman, a single mom and had a storm-free day today and wanted to do something good for myself, go out for a nice meal in the hope of relaxing a little, rewarding myself, maybe just socializing with people, maybe getting to know someone . I asked the service if I could sit at a non-reserved table in the middle of the square. People ask me if there are two of us. 😶‍🌫️of course I looked around and announced that I was alone. Then I got this strange look that I wasn't wanted and was given a spot right between two parked cars, far away from the action. Of course I didn't want that. I wasn't offered another table, I expressed my displeasure in a friendly AND honest manner and left. Unbelievable, that made me. Warm is different! Never again. Without further words. The Trattoria Piloni in the middle of Stuttgart West on Bismarkplatz is a really good and beautifully located Italian restaurant. It's great to sit outside, with the church next door you're basically sitting on the church square, and with good tea you get a real summer holiday feeling. The pizzas are super tasty, with a decent crispy edge. The pasta dishes, for example with Gorgonzola and walnuts, are also highly recommended. I've been here for private children, but also for business lunches. Everything is going great!

Best place to spend the evening. Amazing food and drinks. Watched the Germany vs Denmark match with my family, and the environment was great.

Extremely unfriendly service. Rarely have I felt so uncomfortable. No one was looked at, there was no “please”, no “thank you”. A dish wasn't served and there wasn't even an apology for it. We weren't treated like guests, more like uninvited intruders.

Unfortunately the pizza was really disappointing, the dough wasn't crispy on the edge, the taste was mediocre, in my opinion there was far too little tomato sauce on it. When we ordered two pizzas, the service served the wrong one. Overall, unfortunately not highly recommended, we won't be coming back.

Wir waren in einer kleinen Geburtstagsrunde hier und haben sehr lecker gegessen. Die Antipasti Teller sind sehr fein und auch die täglich wechselnde Tageskarte bietet gute Variationen. Unter der Woche ist es sehr angenehm. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und bodenständig.

Freundlicher Chef mit Bedienungen. Liegt Zentral in Stuttgart West. Draußen im freien ist es gemütlich und auch ruhig. Die Pizzen sind sehr lecker und schmecken hervorragend. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Das Essen war recht gut, leider haben wir aber wirklich ewig auf alles warten müssen. Eine Stunde, bis überhaupt mal Getränke kamen, wäre sogar ohne Kinder unerträglich gewesen-und dafür gab es auch keine Entschuldigung. Abgesehen davon war das Personal aber sehr freundlich, weshalb wir piloni sicherlich nochmals eine Chance geben werden.

Essen ist gut und das Personal ist super nett, vor allem zu unseren Kindern.

Wir wohnen direkt um die Ecke und die Pizza von Piloni hat auf jeden Fall Suchtpotenzial. Der Service ist durchgehend freundlich und das Ambiente ist locker und authentisch italienisch. Wir empfehlen es jedem weiter.

Wirklich eine leckere Pizza, die man so nicht alle Tage zu essen bekommt. Der Rand ist sehr fluffig und fast schon ohne die restliche Pizza ein kleines Highlight. Das Carpaccio ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert und von der Größe locker für 2 Personen als Vorspeise ausreichend. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Service im Außenbereich war durch die Anzahl der Gäste ein bisschen überfordert, sodass man teils etwas länger warten musste, oder das Brot als Apéritif vergessen wurde. Alles in allem trotzdem auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Tiptop - wenn auch preislich recht anspruchsvoll (für mich Landei). Das Essen war einwandfrei: Vitello Tonnato als Vorspeise und ein leckeres Rindersteak waren einwandfrei. Weinkarte auch finanziell anspruchsvoll, konnte ich - als Fahrer - jedoch nicht antesten.

Essen ist in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Service sehr langsam und unfreundlich. Extrem laut im Restaurant. Man kann sich nur anschreien.

Ambiente hieß, vor dem Lokal auf dem breiten Platz bei über 30° zu sitzen. Also wirklich ideale Bedingungen. Mein Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Pizza Meeresfrüchte. Absolut frisch und vielfältig. So etwas sieht man selten. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Eine Ratte zwischen den Füßen die da anscheinend immer ist. Und ne Stunde auf die Vorspeise gewartet Werde wohl nichtmehr kommen.

Service schlecht und unfreundlich und Essen mittelmäßig. Vorspeise kam bei 3 Personen nicht gleichzeitig, sondern auf Nachfrage um 15 Minuten versetzt. Ohne Brot. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, dass es erst noch frisch gebacken werden müsste. 20 Minuten später wurde uns altes Brot hingestellt, dass definitiv nicht frisch aus dem Ofen kam. Wir haben insgesamt gute zwei Stunden auf den Hauptgang (Nudelgerichte) gewartet, die Rückfragen danach wurden pampig beantwortet. Dass einer der Kellner am Ende gesagt hat, dass das nicht hätte passieren dürfen, ändert das Bild kaum. Pasta war auch nicht besonders.

Die Wartezeit ist sehr lang!! Das Essen ist nicht schlecht, aber der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig...

Essen und der Service sind top, allerdings empfand ich die Geräuschkulisse, persönliche, dort zu laut, man konnte sich kaum unterhalten.

Gute italienische Pizzeria. Legen viel Wert auf Optik. z. B. bei der Pizza: Sehr dicker Rand. Innerer Teil der Pizza eher weich als knusprig. Das geriffelte Pizza-Messer zum Schneiden (es wurde extra auf dem Teller mitgeliefert) hätte scharf sein sollen. Bedienung freundlich, aber nicht übermotiviert. Geschmeckt hat es. Aber jeder muss sich selbst ein Bild machen.

Ich bin das 3. MAL hier . Das 1. Mal kurz vor Küchenschluss .Eigentlich schon danach ..Ich hatte Ravioli, Bruschetta und Chianti und war sehr zufrieden!!!Das 2. Mal ein Tag später, etwas früher. Die Delikatesse des Abends war die Muschelsuppe und das Brot dazu. Pro secco und wieder Chianti. Noch Pasta mit Filetspitzen rundeten den Abend ab!Voll zufrieden!!! Heute das 3. MAL: alles in dieser Woche. Das Warten hat sich gelohnt: Bruschetta mista und Salmone. Top!!!

Vincenzo ist wirklich jbg, er ist tatsächlich der beste und professionellste Kellner/Chef, den ich kenne. Ich habe mich gefühlt, wie als wäre ich in Italien. Bedienung wunderschön. Essen Klasse. Inter für immer.
