My girlfriend and I both had pizza. I wouldn't recommend it, even with the best will in the world. Far too much dough, a thick base, and simply tasteless. The other dishes are far too small for the price and also lack flavor. The service is friendly, but a bit overwhelmed. Nevertheless, the wine selection is good, and the wines taste excellent. Overall, though, it's not worth a visit. You can get much more for your money elsewhere in Stuttgart. Oggis = a disappointment!!

The food was good, but the portions were small. It's extremely cramped and therefore very uncomfortable. When you're served at the next table, you practically have the waiter's butt on your plate. I probably won't come back here again. It's also crowded and very loud due to the cramped space. It's a shame, because the food is good.

Well, it's and will remain densely packed along the street. The surrounding pedestrian zone isn't ideal for ladies in high heels either. And unfortunately, it's far too snobby for my taste. The great service doesn't make up for that.

We went to the restaurant yesterday and were very disappointed. Our order was taken incorrectly, and then the waiter asked us for a tip, which was very rude! Even though we weren't satisfied. We would have eaten it anyway 🤯 . I felt very taken aback. I won't go into any more detail!! We hope the restaurant makes an effort to improve its service!

Staff very friendly and the food simply delicious

Unfortunately, I didn't feel welcome at all during my visit. The manager didn't communicate in a friendly manner with either the guests or his staff, which put a damper on the atmosphere. A more respectful and appreciative approach would have made a huge difference. It's a shame, because the food was really very good and the kitchen did a great job. The taste is absolutely recommendable, but the way the guests and staff interacted with each other unfortunately significantly dampened the positive impression.

The food was good – but that alone isn't enough. Hospitality, competence, and decent service are equally important. Instead, we were treated unfriendly and felt more like a nuisance than guests. The atmosphere was cold and unpleasant. Particularly negative: the manager. His behavior was arrogant and condescending – a course on etiquette would definitely be appropriate. It's a shame about the food, but with that kind of treatment, you certainly won't be coming back.

The food and service were excellent!

I was there last week and really enjoyed my meal as well as the ambience of the place. Great vibe, delicious food ! I had the Seafood Salad starter which was phenomenal as well as the Frutti De Mari main meal ( also seafood ) and the shrimp was incredible ! Definitely will be visiting again!

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Mittagessen im Oggi. Die Terrasse macht einen netten Eindruck und man sitzt, trotz Hitze, schön im Schatten. Leider wurden wir, als Nachzügler der Gruppe, nicht nach Getränkenwünschen gefragt, sehr schade. Es wurde gleich das Essen aufgenommen. Wir mussten uns dann selbst diesbezüglich bemerkbar machen. Auch wurden wir während des Besuchs nicht angsprochen, ob wir weitere Getränke wünschen. Lediglich die üblichen Kaffeespezialitäten nach dem Essen wurden angepriesen. Zum Essen: Das kam zügig, und optisch sah auch alles gut aus. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte, nach Aussagen der Teilnehmer unserer Runde jedoch eher normal, nichts bensonderes für die doch teilweise recht happigen Preisen (ok, ist halt Innenstadt Stuttgart). Über meinen eigenen Teller kann ich nur soviel sagen, er war (leider) versalzen. Wie man das bei einem Insalata Caprese schaffen kann, ist mir jedoch schleierhaft. Zum Glück hatte ich mir vorweg am Tisch nur Pfeffer und nicht auch noch Salz genommen..... Denn normalerweise kenne ich das Gericht als (relativ) ungewürzt, nur etwas mit Balsamico, Olivenöl und Basilikum garniert. Auch die Portion war sehr genügsam für den Preis. Eine (1 Stk.!) normal große Tomate und eine Kugel Mozzarella, die ich in jedem Supermarkt größer bekomme, ziemlich lieblos angerichtet. Tomate in einige sehr dicke Scheiben aufgeschnitten und die ganze Kugel Mozzarella einfach daneben gelegt. Der Mozzarella war in der Karte als Büffelmozzarella angegeben, schmeckte jedoch in keiner Weise danach. Auch die Konsistenz war nicht vergleichbar. Alles in allem, war der Besuch ok, aber nichts besonderes. Da habe ich in einfacheren italienischen Restaurants schon deutlich besser gegessen. Und der Anspruch der nach außen vermittelt wird, hat noch riesig viel Luft nach oben.

I recently ate at the Oggi restaurant. The food was really good and flavorful. The prices are also fair, and the location is very central – easy to reach and possible even without a reservation, although I would definitely recommend making one in the evening. The service was attentive, but seemed a bit too brisk to me. The noise level in the restaurant was fine, and it was easy to have a good conversation. One negative thing I noticed, however, was that the tables weren't wiped down after guests left, and the cutlery was placed directly on the table after each course without a napkin – I found that unhygienic. The restrooms could also use a bit more attention: The lights flickered, and the soap was empty – things that operators should definitely pay attention to. Overall, however, the cleanliness of the restaurant was acceptable. On the positive side, they accommodate individual requests, for example, if you don't want to eat something due to intolerances or personal preferences. Overall, a solid restaurant with good food, but there is still room for improvement in service and hygiene.

Wir haben auf der Terrasse gegessen. Empfang und Service war tadellos. Freundlich und korrekt, unaufdringlich. * Vorspeisen: traditionelles Bruscetta, und eine Art Bruscetta mit Mozzarella und gegrilltem Tintenfisch von der Tageskarte. Ersteres hatte geschmacklich keinen Pep, das bekommt man bei den meisten anderen Italienern deutlich besser. Bei dem letzteren war der Tintenfisch nicht wirklich frisch. * Hauptspeisen: Tunfisch mit Sesamkruste auf grünem Spargel. Der Thunfisch von sehr guter Qualität und ganz frisch, aber das gesamte Gericht irgendwie laienhaft und unambitioniert zubereitet. Saltim Bocca: das Gemüse frisch, aber unzureichend gewürzt. Das Fleisch übergart, verbrutzelt und ölig. Schade!

Oggi has declined dramatically. Today, it's just a mass-processing operation. My wife was asked to clear the table after she had just finished eating. When she criticized this, the manager said it was normal in the US. What should have been a nice evening with friends turned into a bad memory. It's really disgusting! This restaurant is no longer an option for us.

One of my favourite restaurants in Stuttgart

We had a very disappointing experience. The service was unfriendly, and after we paid, we were summarily asked to leave. This kind of behavior is absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. We will definitely not be returning and cannot recommend the restaurant.

We've always enjoyed going to this restaurant, but this time we were very disappointed. After we'd eaten and paid, the waiter came to our table while clearing the table and said in a rude tone: "You'd better go now." Without a smile, without any politeness. When we pointed out that he could have said something like that more politely, he started arguing and simply said that we'd already paid. Instead, he could have simply asked us if we'd like another drink—that would have been much more pleasant. It's a shame the evening ended like this, especially because we'd really enjoyed our stay there. You shouldn't treat guests like that.

The restaurant's idyllic location immediately captivates with its idyllic setting, nestled in beautiful surroundings and featuring a charming outdoor area that invites you to linger. The interior design also impresses with a tasteful, warm ambiance, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a relaxed dining experience. The menu is diverse and, at first glance, reasonably priced. However, this impression is deceptive: Some dishes are at the higher end of the price range, which is especially concerning given the portion sizes. There's clearly a lack of value for money here. At the beginning of our visit, everything went smoothly. The service staff was friendly, courteous, and took our order promptly. Unfortunately, this positive impression ended abruptly. It took over an hour for our food to be served—a wait that was neither communicated nor explained in any way. When we asked about it, we were met with indifference, sometimes even ignorance—behavior that is absolutely unacceptable in the professional restaurant industry. When the food finally arrived, the behind-the-scenes operations seemed highly uncoordinated. The plates were placed almost without comment, and the impression of a chaotic operational process was overwhelming. It was particularly disappointing that we had to leave the restaurant without a final goodbye – a basic gesture of courtesy that one would expect in a restaurant. Conclusion: A beautifully located restaurant with a lot of potential, but one that significantly diminishes in quality due to serious shortcomings in service and an unbalanced price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, this experience is not recommended for guests who value reliability, respectful treatment, and consistent processes.

Oggi is fantastic. Best value for money. Our absolute favorite restaurant.

We arrive, wait 20 minutes for the cards... no one shows up... a table next to mine arrives... as soon as they're set up, the table is immediately set and the cards are brought. Bad! No greeting, no apology.

They left us for 10 minutes without saying goodbye, without setting the table, and without menus. The next table came right next to us and was immediately served by a waiter. Just because there were two girls? I absolutely have to give it one star because zero isn't possible. Uno schifo!

A great selection of Italian and Mediterranean dishes, delicious antipasti, and a fantastic wine selection in a contemporary interior. Attentive service and a great atmosphere.

Great food. It's usually busy, so it can be a bit noisy. Unfortunately, the tables are quite close together, but you can still have a good conversation.

The three of us went spontaneously on a holiday and got a table inside without any problems. The food was consistently good and authentically Italian. We were also very satisfied with the service. What was really no longer normal was the doorbell ringing from the kitchen! It was so extreme and most likely the kitchen thought it was funny (because it was so obtrusive) but for the guests sitting close to the kitchen it was so disturbing that I wanted to get up myself to get the food from the kitchen!

We were very annoyed. You are not allowed to eat inside with a dog. Despite reservations it is nowhere. You will only be informed of this on site. Bad style...

Schade was aus dem Laden geworden ist. Das Oggi war früher einer meiner Lieblingsitaliener, doch mittlerweile ist er leider nur noch Mittelmaß. Preise ausgenommem, die sind für Stuttgarts "Upperclass". Wie fast überall, wenn man wohlhabende Kunden zu seinen guten Freunden zählen kann, schwillt die Brust bei den Betreibern und dem Personal. Leider sinkt dadurch auch die Qualität beim Service und zuletzt beim Essen. Bei der Begrüßung Bussi Bussi, doch gleich danach ist man der Arroganz des Services ausgeliefert. Das Besteck wird einem mittlerweile regelrecht hingeworfen. Nicht auf die Serviette! Sorry, vielleicht Quereinateiger die nicht in der Kellnerschule waren. Auch der obligatorische Bindungsgrappa am Schluss aufs Haus, der einem das wohlige Gefühl gibt, ist aus Kostengründen gestrichen. Naja, zum Glück gibt's in Stuggi ja noch diese Italiener, wie das Oggi früher einmal war. Ich verrate aber nicht wo, sonst kommen die Schnösel auch noch dahin;)

Never had such a great spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel with truffles, just WOW! Tiramisu and the like were also very tasty This restautant is a MUST! The service was also super nice and accommodating😊👍🏼

Really good steak, fried to perfection and enjoyed with Gorgonzola sauce. Plus a well-tempered Barbera. What more could you want? Plus a very friendly and attentive service. We always enjoy coming back.

What can I say, Oggi is a truly special restaurant! The staff is professional, kind and always very attentive to every customer's need. The dishes offered are of a very high level (you forget you are not in Italy) and the choice of wines is very varied and of the highest quality. The location is very welcoming and elegant. I really recommend it wholeheartedly! 😊

I ate a Napoli pizza today. I used to really enjoy going to OGGI, but unfortunately the quality has noticeably deteriorated now, which I find very unfortunate. This time the pizza was extremely salty and really disappointing in taste - hardly edible. Out of respect for the good experiences in the past, I didn't say anything this time, thinking it might just be a slip-up. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing for my colleague. Next time I'll think twice about eating pizza at OGGI again.

Drinks were great. Food was exceptional. Service was very good, although speaking Italian wpuld have been much easier. The Hugo and Aperol Spritz were very very good. Highly recommended. Prices were moderate and acceptable, 20 - 30 euro per adult.

Traditional Italian restaurant with fresh, high-quality cuisine 👍🏼 You can immediately tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on tradition, quality and freshness here. I can particularly recommend the truffle pasta - finally a restaurant that really doesn't skimp on truffles, as is often the case with others. The taste was excellent! 👎🏼 The pizza isn't quite to my taste as I like it more fluffy, Neapolitan style, but of course that's a matter of taste. 👍🏼 The salad is always nice and fresh and a great addition to the main dishes. 👎🏼 Unfortunately, I have to say that the toilets often smell unpleasant and there is sometimes a lack of hygiene. This definitely needs to be improved. 👍🏼 Nevertheless, the restaurant as a whole is highly recommended, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Average food, small portions (normal cannelloni portion eaten by a three year old) Mixed starter plate for 4 people and €49 was a joke in terms of quantity. Espresso was good, but that's why we certainly won't go there again

Give this hut a wide berth. After making a telephone reservation for New Year's Eve a week in advance, we were arrogantly told nothing at the door after half an hour because we never pick up the telephone. Your reservation does not exist. After we showed the evidence, this jumping jack at the reception went into top form and became very insulting. But allocated us a table for 1 hour. We just wanted to eat and drink something, unfortunately things turned out completely differently. A short, fat man with no hair on his head came to us narrow-minded, we ordered something, he didn't say anything, there's no such thing and they didn't make a reservation anyway. We politely asked him if he could bring us something else, whereupon he said, in his arrogant manner, that he was not obliged to do so. We drank our glasses as quickly as possible and wanted to pay. My credit card was thrown across the table. But as the saying goes, you always see each other twice in your life.

Were here for the first time today. Good location on the small castle square. Great location. Very tight seating. My wife had a pizza that was very good. I had pasta well. I will go again.

Food is OK, prices are good, atmosphere is great and Service is awkward and a bit messy! If they would improve the service and train their staff it’ll be great! Because in general it’s a nice place with great atmosphere. I just expected more of the food quality We were 10 people and we ordered all different dishes. All orders came on time, but the service was awkward! The prices are decent. But the waiter was not happy that we pay separately! They we keep asking him to pay separately and finally he agreed as if he did us a favour! Overall, I would like to come back again, because the restaurant has good atmosphere.

The Oggi restaurant in Stuttgart impresses with its beautiful, clear and discreet interior design. The food is excellent and the price-performance ratio is perfect. The only downside: The permanent staff and the bosses could be friendlier - a smile when greeting and saying goodbye would round off the overall impression and make the stay more pleasant

Ich liebe das OGGI! Egal ob alleine auf eine Pizza Napoli und ein alkoholfreies Bier, spontan zu zweit an einem Samstag Abend an der Bar oder im Frühsommer bei der Firmung meines Sohnes im Rahmen einer richtigen Familienfeier, die Qualität des Essens (klassische italienische Küche) und der Weine ist stets hervorragend. Auch der Service ist in alle Situationen aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Original Italian cuisine like in Italy. It is definitely advisable to make a reservation, especially on the weekends. The dishes taste excellent, the staff is professional and exudes Italian charm. You're happy to spend a little more money for delicious food and the price/performance ratio is really great for the location. We always enjoy coming here. The restaurant interior is simply and modernly furnished. Card payment was no problem.

The worst reception I have ever experienced, the gentleman with glasses at the entrance arrogantly asked us from a distance whether we had reserved, we said no and were turned away with an arrogant nod and finger-pointing!!! How unfriendly you can be to guests and that has nothing to do with being hospitable.

We have been going to Oggi for years, but over the last 2 years the quality has deteriorated more and more. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. It was already reported that the menu was full of grease stains and fingerprints. We ordered a starter today (the pasta was ok). When it had only been there for 2 minutes, the main course arrived. The boss then brought these back to the kitchen. When we were finished with the starter, the main course (fish platter) came again. We had hoped it would be warmed up, but it was probably just standing in the kitchen. The scampi was old. The fish wasn't sparkling either. The food was generally lukewarm. What a shame!

Friends, waiting 90 minutes and not a word of apology + then entering into negotiations about the necessary discount is quite an achievement.

Very good restaurant! The antipasti and the “tortelloni alla zucca” were excellent! The wine was perfect!

Eat: The food is outstanding! The pizzas and bruschetta are highly recommended and cannot be topped. Service: The employees are very courteous and attentive, which means there are no long waiting times. They also take great care of small children! Ambiance: The rooms are very stylishly furnished and the noise level is pleasant throughout. Overall, the Oggi is highly recommended!

I was with my partner on September 22nd. We ate in the Oggi restaurant and unfortunately our visit was anything but satisfactory. The portions we were served were hunger-satisfying, but by no means filling. What was particularly disappointing was the long wait for our food: salmon with spinach lasagna and pasta with tomato sauce. To our surprise, there was no Bolognese sauce in the entire restaurant, either as lasagna or pasta. This is very unusual for an Italian restaurant, as the sauce is actually a classic. After the long wait, the food finally came, but the portion of lasagne was very small. The amount of pasta was okay, but the taste of the tomato sauce was absolutely not convincing. The almost untouched plate was then returned. The taste of the lasagne was okay, but overall it didn't live up to expectations. Another annoyance was the service when paying. We had to ask a total of four times before the bill was brought, and that took another 20 to 30 minutes. However, the peak of disappointment only came when we were back home. Both my partner and I suffered from severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. Unfortunately this experience was very negative and I hope that the service and quality of the food improve in the future.

Once again everything was simply wonderful and the whole thing was rounded off with a very tasty white wine (Cà dei frati Lugana).

This restaurant exceeded my expectations when it came to both the food and drinks. Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with a lot of attention to detail. The drinks were equally impressive, complementing the food perfectly. What truly stood out was the service—the waiters were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which added a personal touch to the entire dining experience. The only area where I think there’s room for improvement is the ambiance. For the price point, I expected the atmosphere to feel a bit more upscale and polished. While the design is nice, it doesn't quite live up to the premium feel of the menu and prices. A slightly more refined setting would really elevate the experience to the next level. That said, the outstanding food, drinks, and service more than make up for it. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be coming back!

Wir waren zu einem Bummel in Stuttgart und haben uns wegen aufkommenden Hungers kurz entschlossen im Oggi eine Pizza zu essen. Platz war zur Genüge vorhanden und erhielten schnell diesen zugewiesen. Ein Ober war schnell zur Stelle und gab uns eine Karte. Wir bestellten etwas zu trinken was auch schnelle geliefert wurde. Zum Essen einen gemischten Salat mit Thunfisch und zwei Pizza "Oggi" zu je 17 €. Der Salat war relativ schnell gebracht worden, die Pizzen liesenauf sich warten. Als wir nach einer halben Stunde höflich reklamierten passierte nichts. Eine 3/4 Stunde war vergangen bis der Chefober kam und meinte, sein Mitarbeiter wolle viel Geld verdienen und nichts dafür arbeiten. Er sei in Feierabend gegangen ohne unsere Bestellung weiter zu geben. In zwei Minuten hätten wir die Pizzen. Dauerte leider deutlich länger als die zwei Minuten. Wir bekamen schon Kopfschmerzen weil der Krach durch Geschirr Bewegungen, Geklappere im Thekenbereich, Stuhlbewegungen quer durchs Lokal einen immensen Geräuschpegel verursachten. Dazu kam noch in regelmäßigen Abständen ein Herr aus einem Raum mit Rollwagen auf dem irgendwelche Kisten geschoben wurde. Auf einer Bahnhofskneipe ist es ruhiger!!! Die Pizzen für das Geld waren o.k., aber das bisschen Material auf dem Teig für das Geld eine Frechheit. Zusammengefasst: Ein Stern ist hier leider hier zu viel.

I usually like to eat at Oggi, but I've noticed the long waiting times several times now. This time we had to wait 7 minutes just for the menu, and we didn't get it until we asked, as did the bread. When 24 minutes after ordering (!!) there was still no starter served (Vitello Tonnato), we complained, whereupon the waiter said that our starter would come with our pizza and that they couldn't accommodate our request Appetizer ready to serve. The food was very tasty, only the pizza wasn't cut well and my knife was blunt. When we wanted to order another tiramisu the same thing happened again. Basically, I have a lot of understanding for waiters and don't like to complain. It was relatively crowded that evening and he can't speed up the cooking, but cutting a piece of tiramisu and adding three berries doesn't take long. His tone was ultimately the reason for me to write a negative review. Instead of apologizing, he started arguing that we should be patient and that he couldn't do anything. At that point we had already been waiting for dessert for 14 minutes. I'm sorry to give a negative review, but unfortunately such experiences were not unique to Oggi.

A classic in Stuttgart, where you can still go just as well today as you did 15 years ago. Keep it up. Whether for a date or a business lunch, the ambience is right and the service exudes Italian flair.

Very tasty food, attentive service and, above all, prices that are still reasonable. We really enjoyed the evening here.
