Trattoria Positano in Düsseldorf

It was my first visit to Trattoria Positano with friends. The atmosphere is in typical Italian style and very cozy. Everything is very well maintained. The employees are very friendly, polite and accommodating. There is a varied menu, a daily menu and a well-stocked wine list. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The food was very tasty. Access is not entirely barrier-free. There is a parking garage in the immediate vicinity and good public transport connections. Highly recommended and gladly again.

We ate at Positano again. We have been doing this regularly for years. Unfortunately we had a bad day. There was no online reservation. Thank God there was a free table. I didn't know the condition of the non-alcoholic beer, so I had to ask first. First answer: I don't drink alcohol! ??? Okay, problem solved. The starters were good, but the Polipo just missed being black. The salad was super fresh and delicious. Just like usual! Main course rack of lamb was sensational. Always worth a recommendation. We would have liked to drink more, the young woman didn't notice our empty glasses. It's a shame, as I said at the beginning... We had a bad day.

Super nice atmosphere. Food was also very tasty. The truffle pasta could just be a little more truffled and spiced. Service is really top too. There were olives and fresh bread in front of it.

NOT a round thing! The food was very good, the atmosphere was really nice - a really cozy trattoria. The staff tried hard and that brings us to my first big point of criticism: there was an extremely hectic atmosphere. Differences between each other and with the boss were discussed openly by the staff. My daughter and I were looking forward to two of the many pinsas listed on the menu. And then the disillusionment: AFTER we had already ordered antipasti and received drinks, we were informed that there was no more Pinsa... Without words. Well, we switched to noodles. For no apparent, understandable reason, we waited for about 45 minutes. - and no food in sight. When I asked, I and my wife were assured that our "little one" (my daughter) would get a free dessert and I would get a coffee - as compensation. The least. And then finally the HAMMER: We were charged EUR 12.80 for the dessert and the coffee. Sorry, an absolute no-go. Because of the delicious food, we will definitely give this trattoria another chance. This doesn't make you regular customers, but everyone can have a bad day. And starting tomorrow there will be a new menu!

Classic - does that always have to be wrong?! Definitely NO…..Positano is the best example! Great, authentic, honest cuisine that actually takes Italians to a higher level! especially in Düsseldorf). The kitchen does what it promises. A restaurant that offers very good value for money. Nice, competent service that keeps its nerve even in demanding situations, lots of regular guests (which speaks for itself) and a beautiful, authentic, albeit very classic, interior. All in all: highly recommended for families, couples and business people.

It was my first time there for a business lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. So I went again with my husband. Second time was also very good! Highly recommended!

Wur waren mit einer Gruppe von 18 Personen dort, die ihre Speisewünsche auf Bitten des Restos zuvor gesammelt übermittelt hatten. Das Restaurant hatte einen Platz zu wenig eingedeckt, ein Essen vergessen. Für sich genommen gar nicht schlimm, wäre nicht die große Unfreundlichkeit (Überforderung) der Kellner gewesen. Das Essen war sehr unterschiedlich, mein Salat ( bestehend aus 1 Knolle gekochter roter Beete, 2 Stück veralteten Ziegenkäses und etwas grüner Garnitur) schlecht und überteuert .

Food and service are excellent. We were able to spend our visit in a pleasant environment. You should definitely make a reservation in advance.

Großartiges Restaurant. Wir haben schon lange nicht so gut italienisch gegessen. Eins sehr schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken . Das Essen ganz frisch. Der Service war super freundlich. Lediglich die Auswahl an Grappa war etwas dünn.

The cozy restaurant serves the best Italian cuisine. The freshly prepared sea bass for two people was juicy and firm in flesh. The rosemary potatoes were the perfect addition. The small, aromatic tomatoes and garlic slices served with it, fried in oil, rounded off the meal perfectly. The service was very friendly and knew their craft, especially filleting the fish. For dessert we chose tiramisu, which was worth a sin. You'll be happy to visit this restaurant again.

The food is great in both selection and preparation and also offers great value for money. The service is attentive and obliging. Personally, I also like the interior, which is a little out of date. All in all: we always enjoy going to Positano.

Der Fisch sah wirklich gut aus, aber total trocken und die Linguine mit Meeresfrüchten wären super gewesen, aber völlig sandig. Der Koch müsste eigentlich wissen, dass man Fisch nicht zu lange gartet und die Muscheln mehrmals waschen sollte.

Cosy Place with authentic food and close to the Hofgarten

With the nice weather there was nothing free outside, so I was able to watch EURO football inside. I had fresh asparagus one last time this year. Perfectly prepared! I will gladly come again.

For me the best Italian at the Hofgarten for every day! Son Roman runs the shop excellently and makes sure that every guest feels comfortable. Whether penne with tuna or a great grilled cutlet, no wish is left unfulfilled here

Hatten über die Restaurant Website für 8 Personen reserviert und Bestätigung erhalten: wir kamen im Restaurant an, und nichts war reserviert. Dann wurden wir in ein Restaurant um die Ecke geführt, was zufällig auch viel teurer war. Mit zwei hungrigen Familien sind wir dann da halt rein. Haben beobachtet, dass das am gleichen Abend noch zwei anderen Gästegruppen passiert ist. Frech oder unfähig. Irgendwie werden wir das Gefühl nicht los, dass das eine Masche ist, um das teurere leere Restaurant voll zu bekommen.

Als Hotelgäste des Melia suchten wir ein Restaurant in der Umgebung. Vom Hotel waren es nur ca. 200 m ( mit Krücken ) und schon waren wir vor Ort. Freundlicher Empfang, der erste Eindruck war sehr gut. Dann der Blick durchs Restaurant und siehe da eine offene Küche. Bestellung aufgegeben, Weinkarte studiert und los ging es. Der Wein war sehr gut, nett im Weinkühler serviert. Warmes Brot mit Olivenöl, tolle Vorspeisen und Hauptgericht. Der Keller und das Küchenteam gingen mit den Gästen in Nette Gespräche ein. Es war ein toller Abend. Absolute Empfehlung 👍

Seit Jahren sind wir treue Gäste im Positano und immer wieder begeistert von der Küche, dem Ambiente und dem Service. Chefkoch Nicola und Souschef Guiseppe zaubern mit ruhiger Hand Gerichte für Feinschmecker. Gestern hatten wir köstliche Hirschmedaillons á point. Als Weinbegleitung habe ich gemeinsam mit Roman Fusco einen 2007er Brunello Riserva von Fuligni im Weinschrank entdeckt.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Preis/ Leistung stimmt. Kann man auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Super resto italien dans la vieille ville de Düsseldorf. La carte est un peu généraliste, ce qui pour un resto italien n'est pas toujours bon signe, mais tout était délicieux. Les pizzas (pinzas) sont exceptionnelles et peuvent à elles seules justifier le déplacement. Risottos excellents et tiramisu de compétition !

Gemütliche Location nahe dem Hofgarten (für den Verdauungsspaziergang nach dem leckeren Essen 😉) mit sehr freundlichem jungen Personal. Die Speisen, wie z.B. der Steinbutt oder die Pasta frutti die mare, sind frisch zubereitet und köstlich, die Preise angemessen. Die Trattoria Positano und ich sehen uns wieder!!!

Super leckeres italienisches Essen und tolle Atmosphäre. Viel Auswahl und der Service ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein echter Geheimtipp in Düsseldorf Mitte. Die Nudeln mit Pfifferlingen waren top und das Panna Cotta eines der besten die ich gegessen habe.

The food was great, the service is fantastic and really enjoyable, the atmosphere is really welcoming with an open kitchen and outside sitting too. The drinks and desserts were really yummy. Definitely recommended. Really close by the Meliã hotel too.

Wir waren zu fünft da und haben im Voraus gebucht. Es war ein heisser Sommerabend und wir wollten gerne draußen sitzen, da es drinnen noch heißer war. Es hieß aber, dass das nicht geht, da es nicht genug Kellner gab. Dabei saß der Restaurantbesitzer mit noch jemandem draußen. Das fanden wir nicht so toll. Drinnen war es so heiss, dass ich im Endeffekt nur getrunken habe: großes Wasser und Limonccello. Das hat 17€ gekostet was ich ziemlich teuer fand. Vielleicht probiere ich es nochmals später. Ich hoffe, die Bedienung ist dann besser

Arrived on my own after getting stranded by the airport strike. So i walked in a little hesitant as it was fairly busy and its often difficult getting a table when you are on your own …. But the waiter immediately made me feel welcome and we had a chat and a beer. So i let him pick my food … the steak i had was sensational and the choice of wine amazing, then a home made pudding … this place is amazing and well worth a visit - lovely family run resteraunt that leagues ahead i think :). Really like good service - well done toy you all.

Gehobene Küche, leckeres Essen und ein toller Service. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Portionsgrößen sind ausreichend und gut. Die Pinsa hat unfassbar lecker geschmeckt.

Trotz einer Rechnung über 250,- gab es nicht einmal ein Schnaps aufs Haus. Junge Bedienung aus Freiburg war sehr freundlich, ihr Chef jedoch vollkommen idiotisch.

Immer wieder kommen wir sehr gerne ins Positano. Die Küche ist seit Jahren gleichbleibend ausgezeichnet, die Speisekarte ist immer saisonal angepasst und die zusätzliche Sonderkarte bietet weitere kulinarische Highlights an. Ob Fisch, Fleisch oder vegetarisch: alles wird frisch zubereitet und ist sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich immer top! Die Zabaione, die nicht in der Karte steht, aber auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet wird, ist der „Hammer“ Das Servicepersonal versteht sein Handwerk, ganzer Fisch wird z.B. am Tisch filetiert und vorgelegt, die Weinempfehlungen passen immer. Preis-Leistung ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Bij een eerder bezoek aan Düsseldorf dit knusse Italiaans restaurant ontdekt. Onlangs opnieuw hier gegeten. Nu de aanbevelingen van de chef. Heerlijk. En de staf natuurlijk weer aardig en attent.

Putziges kleines Lokal mit ganz starker Küche und einem sehr netten Service. Waren total überrascht weil wir hier sozusagen spontan ,,gestrandet'' sind aber die Atmosphäre und die leckeren Pasta haben uns sehr überzeugt.

Außergewöhnlich gut und lecker. Der sehr freundliche und persönliche Service ist beispielhaft. Dieses Haus ist keine Pizzaschmiede, sondern ein sehr hochwertiges Restaurant und ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Die Gerichte sind nicht billig aber der Preis ist der hohen Qualität vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Die Auswahl an guten Weinen ist beeindruckend. Hinweis, unbedingt Platz für das ebenfalls sehr leckere Dessert lassen! Ich habe hier einen wirklich schönen Abend verbracht und freue mich auf eine Wiederholung dessen.

Wir waren ab 14 Uhr nach einem Besuch im Kunstpalast dort. Das Essen, der Wein und der freundliche Service haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen sicher bald wieder.

Mit der Familie besuchten wir letzen Monat das kleine positano. Essen und Service war top. Das Ambiente ist typisch Amalfiküste . Wir kommen wieder !

Die lange Anfahrt aus Himmelgeist lohnt sich immer. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend mit der Familie gehabt und kommen gerne bald wieder.

Leider habe ich es versäumt, ein Foto zu machen. Das hole ich beim nächsten Mal nach. Ich hatte sehr gute Tagliolini mit Trüffel. Die Kollegen - es war ein Geschäftsessen - auch sehr gute Gerichte, Dorade, Lachssteak oder Linguini mit Pfifferlingen. Die Tageskarte ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Köstliche Leber, leckerer Salat, sehr gute Weine, freundlicher, ausgebildeter Service.

Die Eindrücke, die ich hier erst vor wenigen Stunden sammeln durfte, verdienen keine Verzögerung meiner Rezension, in diesem Haus ist alles stimmig und hochqualitativ. Ich hatte heute Abend einen erstklassigen Service, köstliche Gerichte und guten Wein. Der Service ist aufmerksam, aber dennoch kaum zu bemerken. Für alles, was an einem Tisch geschieht, gibt es den geschulten Blick und eine entsprechend schnelle Reaktion. Ich genoss nach außergewöhnlich guten Oliven zum Couvert-Brot ein Carpaccio mit frischen Pfifferlingen, danach eine zarte Kalbsleber mit einem sahnigen Kartoffelpüree und Brokkoli sowie eine Dessertvariation (Tiramisù, Tartufo nero, Sorbet mit Beerenkomposition) mit den Köstlichkeiten der Pasticceria. Sowohl der Hauptgang als auch der Nachtisch waren sehr reichhaltig bemessen, normalerweise werden die Portionen bei Dessertvariationen verkleinert gereicht. Heute hatte ich gewissermaßen drei komplette Desserts auf dem Teller. Man müsste davor nahezu warnen. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Man sagte mir, ich könne nur drinnen essen, alle Tische draußen seien reserviert. Zumindest in den zwei Stunden meiner Anwesenheit wurden nur zwei davon besetzt. Insgesamt ein überzeugendes Bild. Dieses Restaurant wird mich regelmäßig wiedersehen.
