Staff were really attentive and my food tasted great. I had a beef risotto. My friend had a fish salad which she said was incredible!

Whenever we're there, it's always packed. It seems to be because of the food.

A cozy little Italian restaurant with a good selection of delicious food. Be sure to reserve a table in the evening! When the weather's nice, you can also sit outside, although cars tend to circle the tables there. Very friendly staff and overall, good value for money. We always enjoy eating there.

Fantastic food and great service.

I don't normally write reviews but this was the worst service of my life. I went there to eat with my grandma today. It was raining and thundering, the doors were wide open and as a result it was very windy and cold in the restaurant. When we asked if we could close the doors or open later we were just told to sit somewhere else if it bothered us. The waiter didn't smile or say thank you or please. We felt completely unwelcome, unfortunately. In the end we had to pay €36. My grandma gave €50 and said she wanted €2 back, so she would pay €38 because the service definitely didn't deserve more than €2. We thought it was clear that this meant rounding up to €38, so €2 back and the missing €10. The waiter thought it meant it was all a tip. €14 tip for bad service. He didn't question it, didn't say thank you, just put €2 on the table. My grandma didn't even notice that €10 was missing until I mentioned it. We then asked for the €10 and the waiter first said no, then reluctantly gave the €10 back and said he wanted the €2 back. That would have been a €4 tip. Which would be quite a lot for a meal worth €36, especially with such unfriendly service. Since when does the waiter even get to decide how much tip he keeps? In my opinion, given his behavior, he can be happy that he even got the €2 tip. I'm definitely no Karen, but that was so bad. We'll never go there again. He took advantage of my grandma's inattentiveness and then refused to give the money back. But the food was extremely mediocre.

A very authentic Italian restaurant with a fitting ambiance; you feel at home. The food is perfect and amazing; we were pleasantly surprised. A definite recommendation.

The food was really great, and the location was great too. The service seemed pretty overwhelmed; I couldn't find the bill, and I had to ask three times before I could pay. They didn't even ask if everything was okay or if I wanted to order anything else. Overall, the atmosphere was lacking. I would still eat here again because the food was really delicious, and that's what it's all about.

From the seats at Kaiserswerth Market, you have a beautiful view of the Rhine! The gnocchi with spinach and shrimp was delicious. The Altbier was delicious, too!

The food in the restaurant was truly delicious, with well-balanced flavors, beautifully presented, and of good quality. The kitchen definitely knows its craft, and for that alone, it deserves more stars. Unfortunately, the positive impression was severely tarnished by the behavior of the staff. The service was not only rude, but also consistently arrogant and lacking in service orientation. You won't find any friendliness or a smile here; instead, you feel more like an inconvenience than welcome. It's a shame, because with better service, this restaurant would be highly recommended. Despite the good food, a bitter aftertaste remains.

Friendly, quick service from father and son, huge portions (bruschetta would have been enough for dinner) from a really typical Italian menu. And all of this at very fair prices and when the weather is nice outside in the wonderful Kaiserswerther ambience.

After probably the 20th visit, I can say that dinner (or lunch :) is always good, no matter what you order. Yes, the price is a bit high, yes, you may have to park a few hundred meters away in one of the central Kaiserswerth parking lots. Yes, the restaurant is actually always full and therefore a bit louder and sometimes a bit cramped... I think that's exactly how it has to be :). If you haven't been there yet: reserve in advance (!), park centrally, take a leisurely afternoon stroll through Kaiserswerth, enjoy the view of the Rhine; and then have a really good meal here. Outside in summer. Just always good.

Only to recommend. very tasty Italian food. Friendly and uncomplicated operation. It is always very well attended - reservations may be an advantage. Otherwise a solution will also be sought. When eating, intolerances are taken into account. Ambiance is great. Dog friendly.

Spontan zum Essen mittags das Restaurant besucht und nicht enttäuscht, freundlich empfangen, Restaurant gepflegt, angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte sehr umfangreich, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Preise sind für die gute Qualität akzeptabel, das leckere Brot mit Olivenöl wird gleich mit dem Getränk serviert🙏👍! Die Nudeln und der Salat sehr gut zubereitet, gute Portionen!

My in law lives just next door to the restaurant and we were so hungry yesterday night but we dnt want to go anywhere else but we also didn’t make reservation. We said ok let’s walk in. We went in and told the middle age guy who we thought might be owner of the restaurant, we said we didn’t make reservation and he said no problem. So we got the seat, we ordered food and my husband couldn’t make decision bcs he wanted to eat two things but then the same guy said we can do both in the same plate! The service is absolutely Italian style, laid back, lovely. The food is absolutely beyond expectation!! Highly recommend!!

Mi suegro vive justo al lado del restaurante y tuvimos tanta hambre ayer por la noche, pero no queríamos ir a ningún otro lugar, pero tampoco hicimos reserva. Dijimos ok vamos a entrar. Entramos y le dijimos al tipo de mediana edad que pensamos que podría ser el propietario del restaurante, dijimos que no hicimos reserva y él dijo que no había problema. Así que obtuvimos el asiento, pedimos comida y mi esposo no pudo tomar una decisión porque quería comer dos cosas, pero luego el mismo tipo dijo que podemos hacer ambas en el mismo plato! El servicio es absolutamente italiano, relajado, encantador. ¡La comida está absolutamente fuera de lo esperado! ¡Muy recomendable!

An Italian like you want. Good selection of Italian dishes with an additional weekly menu. The black taglierini with seafood and the linguine with zucchini were very good Crayfish tasted good. The aubergines with mozzarella and Parma ham were a bit disappointing for those who value a larger portion of aubergines. The service was friendly, the location of the outside terrace is sometimes uneasy due to the surrounding street turning area. We were also able to enjoy this restaurant in September 2024 and can only rave about the excellent Italian cuisine.

Bread is so tasty, so good. spaghetti was good. But, The tasty was different compare to one 5 years ago. I enjoyed it so much when I went on a trip 5 years ago, that I have been meaning to go again for this trip. Maybe it was because I ordered a different menu from back then, but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as delicious as it had been back then. Still, the bread before the meal was very delicious~^^ By the way, travelers can park appropriately nearby. However, please note that there may be no seats available.

Dolce Vita in the afternoon Maybe my new favorite Italian restaurant in the area... But be careful! Very large portions, even if the price doesn't suggest it. My husband and I had to have two dishes packed unseen, which was no problem at all. If you want to sit outside, you should make a reservation and I think it would be utopian to expect an unplanned table in the evening, as there are not many "authentic" Italian restaurants of this quality (price/performance) in the area. I hope my enthusiasm continues...until then, gracie

We sat outside and the cars driving past were just annoying when the drivers revved their engines. Service was very friendly with a hint of a lack of staff, which is all totally authentic. Ordered drinks and food and ate under the parasol. Mine was delicious (bruschetta) and so were the 3 other participants' leftovers. So always welcome and thank you for the wonderful time with you

The best Italian in Kaiserswerth. The food is always a pleasure and perfect. Pasta is homemade and everything is prepared and served with a lot of love. The staff is always friendly and polite. The boss is just a really nice person. The atmosphere is cozy. In the summer, sitting outside in the yard and enjoying your food or inside it's just warm and beautiful.

We were greeted with ... there is no table available... even though we were standing in front of a table that had only been reserved for 1.5 hours. Then we were allowed to sit down. In between, the waiter shouted briefly at everyone who, in his eyes, had done something wrong as guests (bicycle wrong, rubbish thrown in the garbage can, walked past wrong) unbelievable. He was aggressive and also shouted at the rest of the staff. The food is ok but like it's from the 80's, quality well, prices are high, when I wanted to pay I dared to say that he had spread a lot of bad mood in the restaurant, then He shouted at me after all he would have given us a table... The meal took over an hour (I don't see that as a problem because it was busy and Father's Day after all). Drinks were only brought reluctantly and then we were asked if we were actually just ordering water wanted to . Well, after all, 3 large bottles of water are a good source of income. It has to be said that we have been there several times and always thought, well... If you want to be criticized or like to be there while others are reprimanded, this would be the right place!!! 😂 For us as Kaiserswerthers, this is over.

NO STAR! Staff unfriendly and throw the cards in front of you! We'll never go there again! There are 8 tables and we felt discriminated against by the waiters who are as old as my grandfather, no respect for what we showed as customers, they didn't even make us feel the 10% percent of it! I worked as a waiter myself for years and have never treated a guest like that. This store clearly treats people based on their appearance!! A real shame

My green salad plate with grilled salmon costs 24.50 euros. There is plenty of salmon included, but unfortunately the quality offered is not worth the price. There is a lot of green salad underneath the salmon, which is unfortunately very dry. If oil was added, then only in a homeopathic dose. For the price, in addition to the mixed green salad, I expect at least a few additions that add a little more flavor. Bread is not served with it either. Very disappointing.

Rarely have I had such a bad carbonara. The sauce consisted of cream and bacon and that from an Italian restaurant! No guanchiale, or at least air-dried Italian ham and hard cheese. You could have asked for drinks at the service. Overall, so-so, but I wouldn't go there again.

Waren mit Freunden zum Essen dort und haben leider den schlimmsten Tisch im ganzen Lokal erwischt dh fast in der Tür bei 6 Grad Aussentemperatur nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen Das Lokal war überfüllt, sehr laut, Tische standen sehr nah beieinander. Essen ok, Service auch ok. Der Hammer war allerdings das der Ober dem es wohl sehr warm war die Eingangstür geöffnet und mit einem Holzkeil blockiert hat!!! Das ist eine Frechheit gegenüber dem Gast PS , das Trinkgeld haben wir eingesteck und das Lokal fluchtartig und kalt verlassen

After a nice walk along the Rhine on a frosty afternoon, we went to Casa Massimo to warm up with hot tea and a delicious minestrone. We were impressed by the cozy atmosphere, the fresh flowers on every table and the lovingly prepared dishes that were served here and there in the afternoon. The friendly staff were busy and the “warmers” we ordered with very tasty crusty bread and seasoned olive oil are long-lasting memories. We are sure we will be happy to come back for lunch or dinner.

140€ für 4 Nudelgerichte und Getränke. Das ist schon krass. Für frische hausgemachte Pasta wäre das noch okay, aber hier wird meiner Ansicht nach, ein mal im Monat Pasta gekauft und in großen Mengen vorgekocht auf Bestellung dann Portionsweise aufgewärmt. Man sieht es auf jedem einzelnen Bild welches hier von Kunden veröffentlicht wird. Die Pasta schwimmt in Öl damit es beim aufwärmen nicht austrocknet und dann unmengen an Knoblauch und Chilli untergerührt damit der Kunde den Geschmack der alten Pasta hoffentlich nicht mehr rausschmecken kann. Einer der anderen Kunden hatte ein Pastagericht mit "Meeresfrüchten". Der Geruch hing so schwer in der Luft, dass jeder im Restaurant hier Nasal mitessen musste. Ich will nicht wissen wie schwer dieses Pastagericht dem jungen Mann im Magen hing den Abend. Hoffentlich ist er nicht krank geworden, weil frisch können die Scampis wenn sie so stinken wirklich nicht gewesen sein. Wer also frische Pasta und frische Zutaten erwartet wie ich, wenn ich in ein italienisches Restaurant gehe, ist hier definitiv an der falschen Adresse. Ambiente, sehr alt. Service, alles nur alte unfreundliche Herren. Der Koch hat wohl auch seine Lust am kochen verloren. Sehr Schade.

Italienisches Essen mit großen Portionen, supernettem Service und zu anständigen Preisen. Besonders möchte ich das phantastische Brot mit Olivenöl zur Begrüßung hervorheben - das ist ungeschlagen. So ein Lokal braucht man eigentlich in jedem Stadtteil mindestens einmal.

Wir sind hier spontan zu einem Mittagessen eingekehrt. Die Pasta war sehr lecker, der Service allerdings unterirdisch. Die Rechnung wurde einfach auf den Tisch geknallt, wir wurden nicht gefragt ob wir getrennt zahlen wollten. Ich fühlte mich nicht willkommen, fast schon als würden wir stören.

Immer wieder toll. Das Essen ist frisch, gut gewürzt und schmackhaft, außerdem sehr gut verträglich, da nur vernünftige Öle und Gewürze verwendet werden. Gute Portionen, die man auch mal teilen lassen kann. Prima Auswahl an Weinen, leckeres Bier. Immer freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Draußen sitzt man einfach prima und bekommt etwas vom Kaiserswerther Treiben mit. Die direkte Rheinnähe läd hinterher zum Verdauungsspaziergang ein. Immer wieder gerne.

Ja, es ist ein Italiener! Aber muss das Risotto mit Steinpilzen und Filetspitzen tatsächlich in Olivenöl schwimmen und der Lachs auf den Nudeln in Sahnesauce ersticken. Das geht alles viiiel besser. Vielleicht haben wir das falsche Gericht gewählt an einem Freitagabend und Hochbetrieb. Preislich muss einfach mehr Qualität geliefert werden. Der Service war vermutlich aufgrund der hohen Anzahl an Gästen herzlos und kaum erkennbar. Location 1a!
