They have the best bolognese pasta I’ve tasted in Germany. On top of that their tiramisu is the best because it’s not too sweet and coffee taste is not too strong. Plus they loved our kids being there.

I have never experienced such a bad restaurant - both the service and the entire experience were disastrous. Although the menu offered a wide variety of dishes, the majority of them were unorderable. Every dish we tried to order was refused because it was said to be unavailable. Finally we decided to order a pizza but the owner refused saying that he wouldn't make anything if two people just share a pizza as he had provided two chairs. I've never heard of such an absurd reason. He refused to cook for us and even insulted me. He said I wasn't worthy of eating at his restaurant and should stand on the street instead. At the end he charged us overpriced prices for the drinks. The food is extremely expensive, but the atmosphere in the restaurant is bad and unkempt.

Even though we arrived relatively late, we were served very nicely and both pizzas were very tasty and a bit special (we chose the goat cheese pizza with walnuts and the burrata pizza). It's a shame that we're going home tomorrow, otherwise we would have been determined here more often 😊

Had dinner there yesterday, ordered two pizzas and they were absolutely delicious. The service was just great and everyone was very friendly and attentive. We would be happy to come back.

We went to Francesco on the recommendation of friends. We had a nice mixed starter for two, followed by a seafood risotto and a capricciosa pizza, for dessert we had a very tasty homemade panna cotta. Excellent quality products, great value for money. Francesco proved to be an excellent 😊host, friendly and welcoming. I can only recommend it🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!

We always enjoy coming here to eat. The owners are always friendly and the food is always freshly prepared. When the weather is good, we like to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The commercial street has little traffic, so traffic is not a problem.

A very nice decorated restaurant. It feels like you are in Italy. In the case of the salad with salmon, the salmon was probably on the grill for too long. Because the salmon was more reminiscent of chips, it was so crispy. In terms of taste, the salad was still in the top league. We didn't know pizza as such. It was a pizza with walnuts drizzled with honey. Nevertheless, our conclusion was that the pizza was very tasty.

Dear reader, It's strange how some reviewers go to the lengths of making such false statements in order to harm someone. It's up to us to create an honest review to inform other possible guests whether you can eat here or not. Personally, I can say that it is a family-run restaurant. Anyone who has ever been to Italy can confirm that it is unusual for us that children sometimes sit in the restaurant to eat, but that is completely normal. You weren't a bother at all! The restaurant is perhaps a bit inconspicuously located in a commercial building, but I felt very comfortable and had very friendly service. The kitchen is open to the dining room, so you can always see that fresh food is being cooked here. Quote from another review “Wagnerpizza” unfortunately very poor behavior. I would still like to make a recommendation, which some people won't like. The price-performance ratio doesn't quite fit. The quantity and ingredients used are disproportionate to the price. Simply too cheap. It is of course difficult to charge higher prices in such a location, but if I were to charge a meal like this, for example: "Risotto with porcini mushrooms" even in the Ruhgebiet, I would pay more than €20. Not recommendable! Pizza tastes like an original stone oven pizza from Wagner. It's actually clear. An Italian name is used here to make the guests believe they are at an Italian restaurant even though the owner is Syrian. I see this as deliberate deception towards the guests. Not good!

Third visit and I primarily rate the quality of the pizza. Prosciutto e funghi chosen every time. Roman style of pizza, the dough is perfectly baked without burns, crispy without crumbling, the ingredients are of high quality and the distribution and quantity of the ingredients are chosen so that everything is cooked. is very close to an Italian pizza in Italy. As a big pizza lover and connoisseur, I am giving top marks for the pizza at a German pizzeria for the first time. Priced also very fair and reasonable. (Note 1) The service is authentic, loving and uncomplicated with Italian flair. (grade 2+) The atmosphere is cozy, warm sheepskins on the leather benches invite you to linger for a while (grade 2-) The kitchen is completely visible, including new professional work equipment, overall very clean and well maintained. (Note 1-) parking facilities are very good (Note 1) Overall, this pizzeria is, for me, the best in the greater Freiburg area. a real insider tip.

Spontan kam ich mit meiner Freundin hier her. Innenraum ist klein und direkt mit der Küche verbunden. Francesco kam anfangs schnell und ruck Zuck war auch die leckere Pizza & Pasta da. Preise sind hier super für die tolle Qualität der Pizzen! Kleiner Negativer Punkt, wir waren spät dran(Freitag 20h) die Küche wurde gegen 22h geputzt, nur leider roch dann alles stark nach warmen Spüli, wir mussten dann zügiger raus, da es uns leider schlecht wurde! Insgesamt Pizzen/Pasta top, Innenraum/Lautstärke flop.

Ich habe Schnitzel mit Salat bestellt und es war super lecker🤩😍Außen schön knusprig und innen zart und saftig. Der gemischte Salat und das Dressing waren auch sehr gut. Eine große Portion, bei der man auf jeden Fall satt wird. Der Service war super freundlich und sympathisch. Wenn wir in der Nähe wohnen würden, wären wir mit Sicherheit Stammkunden! Super lecker! Nach einem 2-wöchigen Italienurlaub hätte ich nie gedacht, dass die beste Pizza bei der Durchreise durch Freiburg auf mich wartet. Das ist eben der große Unterschied zwischen tausenden Restaurants, die alle meinen gutes Essen machen zu können und den wenigen, die es mal professionell gelernt haben und dementsprechend so viel besser sind als die vielen anderen. Vielen Dank an das Team Trattoria Pizzeria Da Francesco 😘. Übrigens dürfen wir auch das Schnitzel empfehlen. Außen kross und innen zart und saftig. Dieser Mann weiß ganz genau, was er tut. Respekt!!!

Mitten im Gewerbegebiet liegt diese Pizzeria, die mir von einem Bekannten empfohlen wurde. Das Ambiente außerhalb, sowie innerhalb ist sicherlich nicht dass, was man von einer traumhaften Location erwartet, denn es gibt nur einige Sitzplätze innerhalb des Restaurants und einige in einem Zelt. Dazu noch ein paar Tische auf der Terrasse, aber wenn man mal die äußeren Bedingungen außer acht lässt, dann kann man dort einen sehr schönen Abend verbringen. Erstens ist der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und jeder Sonderwunsch wird erfüllt und zweitens ist das Essen wirklich wunderschön angerichtet und sehr schmackhaft. Sowohl die Bruschetta, als auch das Brot, der Salat oder die Pizza. Es hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend vor dem Haus oder auf den extra ausgewiesenen Parkplätzen. Wer also Lust auf italienische Küche hat, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Daher für mich, trotz der kleinen Einschränkung, eine klare Empfehlung und fünf Sterne.

Gute italienische Küche gerne wieder

Wirklich tolle Pizzas. Wir merken uns dies auch dür die Zukunft und kommen gerne wieder.

Von außen sieht das Lokal eher unscheinbar aus, aber das Essen und der Service sind sehr empfehlenswert. Meine Schwester, deren Hund und ich haben uns auf der überdachten Terrasse sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!

Op deze locatie dit restaurantje vinden maakte heel veel goed! Personeel spreekt Duits of Italiaans, ondanks dat ging het prima om te bestellen. We kregen snel ons eten. Het smaakte top en de porties waren echt groot! Echt een aanrader!

Wir hatten heute wieder einen tollen Abend bei da Francesco. Das Essen war wie immer hervorragend. Die Pizza kommt warm und richtig knusprig aus dem Ofen und die Pasta schmeckt original wie in Italien. Der Service ist richtig freundlich und auch preislich kann man nicht meckern.
