The staff is always friendly and cheerful. The food is delicious, especially the cheesecake in a glass! If you're lucky, you'll be there on one of the evenings when the chef is singing. I always enjoy coming back.

The shop is located on the main street and has no soundproofing, so it can get quite loud at times. But the service was top-notch, and the food...delicious!

This is the second time I've visited the trattoria with my friend Angie, who lives nearby. They cater to German customers. I ordered saltimbocca alla romana, and they served it with a Mondamin sauce! In any case, it's a nice place, and the food is good. Antonio from Buenos Aires

I can't recommend it more. Service is miraculous. The food: It's average. Pizzas are soggy in the middle. Service: They ask in a rude way when ordering and act cool. And also stupid sprays when you ask something. What's that supposed to mean ??? They behave like they're at the bazaar and it's very loud in the restaurant. After we had eaten, we wanted to order something to drink, but they didn't come. I raised my arm up so the person at the checkout could see me. And he lifted his arm up and still didn't come. To order something to drink, I had to go to the cash register. Something like that shouldn't be allowed to happen. It was my second time there and that was the last time.

My companion had the Thursday special menu, consisting of tomato mozzarella (we shared), home-made lasagne (it tasted very good) and a cheesecake for dessert. For me there was tagliatelle with gorgonzola sauce - sensational, so that thanks to the delicious ciabatta there were no leftover cheese on the plate😉 Conclusion: I'd be happy again!

I've now eaten there twice with my partner, delicious, fast service and friendly staff. Dogs are allowed and are treated kindly.

Our little Italy By far our favorite Italian restaurant in Hamburg! Especially when it comes to authentic cuisine and ambience. We moved in around the corner two years ago and followed a recommendation from someone who lived there 10 years ago and was a regular customer. We fell in love straight away. The food is comparable to all the dishes from our last vacation in Italy, the people are funny, warm, authentic and the weekly menu always has something special. The antipasti plate is a must-have if you are there with more than 2 people. You definitely have to try the shop!! ♥️

We were there right at 6 p.m. and were one of the first in the restaurant. We received our food at 7:30 p.m. Others who came after us got their food much earlier. -When we pointed this out to the waiter after an hour of waiting, he said: “The noodles are just now in the water” and there wasn’t even any compensation. The pizza resembled a supermarket pizza and the pasta was oily and tasteless. Unfortunately not recommended!

After we looked at an apartment on the Eilbek Canal and wanted to take a look at the surrounding area, we came to the restaurant on a recommendation - on a very busy street. The initial skepticism quickly disappeared, the food was excellent, the service was professional and approachable at the same time. We felt wonderfully comfortable and will come back, even if we don't move into the apartment.

I've been going to this restaurant for ages, recently I had penne that was too salty, that can happen. What shouldn't happen is that the waiter wasn't interested in the complaint at all.

We are regular guests here. The food is really very good, I ate excellent pulpo, antipasti is expensive but suitable as a main course. We were really satisfied.

The food is fantastic. Best pizza in Hamburg - with interesting toppings that you can only get here, e.g. goat cheese with basil mascarpone cream and onions marinated in herbs. The service guys are also legendary. Feels like eating with friends. Then it's okay if an order takes a little longer. The decor is a bit rustic, but for me that's not what La Dolce Vita is about ;)

The food was delicious and the selection was so appealing

World championship, I ate calzone pizza, it's a normal, high-quality pizza, but we took SALENTO pizza and it was simply amazing, we also took tiramisu, freshly made, good, although the coffee was too strong for me, but still very good. Plus bruschetta, my wife said it was the best she had ever eaten, for me it was also the world championship and only for €3, I highly recommend it

We are now regular guests and for good reason. The food is always A1 and the waiter Francesco a 12/10 🔥 I particularly recommend the Penne Ligure with extra artichokes.

The ambience is not very dignified, but definitely cozy. The service was rather "boyish", but very friendly. Very refreshing. The food was excellent and more than adequate in both quantity and quality. I can highly recommend the foccacia.

Although it looks inconspicuous from the outside, you can eat really great Italian food here. Friendly service, great value for money. Overall, the starters were a bit too oily and too much fried for us.

This Italian restaurant is simply amazing. Very nice service. Extremely delicious pizza with unusual combinations. All in all we had a perfect evening there and would love to come back.

At the weekend we were visiting our son, who lives right next to the pizzaria. Came with the whole family including two small children. We were warmly welcomed, the children were fully integrated and had fun, any special requests were happily taken care of, the food completely impressed us, it was a lovely evening like staying with friends. The store is just great! 10/10!

It's been a while since we've eaten there again. We really like the pizza there. But what always puts us off is the background noise. A well-maintained conversation can sometimes be very difficult. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Great service and the food was also very tasty. We got recommendations and didn't regret it. We'd love to come back. The ambience was nice, but the volume was a bit too loud for me personally.

We were here with friends. The quality and hospitality convinced us! So we would have been here for 3 hours last weekend...

Apart from the dried out bread that was handed to me as an appetizer, the food was ok. But nothing more. And for THAT price I can definitely eat nicer, nicer and better somewhere else. Or just stay at home, I have more of it 😃

We went there for dinner with the family. We were served friendly and the food was good and tasty. If we had left out starters, all the plates would have been empty. We got everything from vegetarian to pasta to saltimbocca. The trattoria is definitely recommended. It should be reserved.

I was very impressed on my first visit and had the best spaghetti carbonara that I had ever been served. However, I was sorely disappointed the second time and actually had probably the worst carbonara I've ever eaten in a restaurant. This should have been returned and had nothing to do with carbonara. Nevertheless, the staff is super friendly and gave us great advice about the wine. The ambience is also nice, like a small, nice Italian restaurant. I think a kitchen can always have a bad day and I'll probably still come back and give it another chance. All in all a good Italian, but something like the second time shouldn't happen when you pay almost €20 for the pasta. That's why only 4 stars.

I ordered a takeaway pizza this evening and I love my pizza! I recommend the spelled flour pizza with grilled aubergines, zucchini, peppers and basil cream👌🏻 you can taste no difference to the “normal” dough😉 Nice and crispy. Nice ambience, good atmosphere, very friendly service. It was very well attended, make a reservation!

Now our regular Italian in the area. The food has always been good to very good, and the portions are decent. What particularly stands out is the warm atmosphere and the friendly, cheerful staff who are always up for a bit of fun or a quick chat. You simply feel comfortable and welcome here.

Tastiest pizza in the middle of the city, again and again!

Good balance of price and taste. And the staff makes a visit even better. 🤗 I tried pasta with seafood and am glad to admit that the octopus was cooked perfectly. 🤌 One thing that upset me is that they don't have a side salad, so I received a full-price option instead. 🙄 Though, it was good.

Luckily I “stumbled” across this pizzeria. Very nice Italians, brilliant pizzas! Thin dough, crispy - that's how it has to be. Absolutely child-friendly (children's schnapps and something for the grown-ups was even included for free). Oh, the spicy oil was gigantic...

While looking for a good Italian restaurant, we come across Trattoria Italiana. It was an unforgettable experience. The food was simply delicious. The waiters are authentic Italians. As a greeting from the kitchen, we were treated to bread and a small bowl of delicious olives, which were the perfect start to our dinner. We ordered pizza and homemade pasta. The pasta was served with freshly grated Parmesan, simply wonderful! For dessert we had the really delicious tiramisu. Finally there was Limoncel We were particularly impressed by the service and the attentive care provided by the staff. Our questions and requests were answered with friendliness, which made our evening even more pleasant and was something we normally didn't know (especially in Italian restaurants). We were also pleasantly surprised at the price. The quality of the food and the service we enjoyed were in excellent relation to the price. Overall, we can highly recommend Trattoria Italiana. I don't really understand the top reviews here. We used to come often and enjoyed it and yesterday we had dinner at the Trattoria Italiana again. Maybe it was because the boss wasn't there, but the service was listless and inattentive. The food was good, but has now become quite expensive. The ambience and guest room in the “winter garden” is unkempt and in need of renovation. Not a cozy atmosphere. I would still order a pizza to go there because they are big and tasty, but eating at home is nicer. We won't be coming back any time soon. Eating out has become too expensive for that and it should be something special. Price/performance is not right here. PS: despite a €5 tip (we always tip!) there was neither a “thank you” nor a farewell.

An Italian restaurant that you wouldn't expect in this place. There are reasons why I always reserve a table with you - even during the week - because many people now know that you not only offer sensational pizzas and pasta, but authentic Italian cuisine. I'm incredibly happy to be with you for a short trip to the south of Italy, thank you!

Food was quite okay. Unfortunately we waited almost 2 hours for the main course. When inquiring about the food, the only answers I got were funny sayings that you can say if no mistakes were made.

Food was okay but not really good either. Just mediocre. The ambience is good but it was quite cold and there was a lot of car noise from the street. Somewhat long waiting times.

I can only recommend it, it's super tasty and the prices are okay, you can't complain. Small but well attended. 👍
