Trattoria Daniele in Düsseldorf

It was absolutely delicious! Pizza Tonno, just like at an Italian restaurant! And a Füchschen Alt beer. Fast and friendly service! A bit hidden near the Merkur Arena, in the Düsseldorf Tennis Club!

It's a bit hidden, but we found it anyway and enjoyed a delicious pizza. You can sit comfortably inside or outside.

Disappointment across the board Seldom eaten so badly. The atmosphere was too loud, the service was rude and overwhelmed. The food came after an endless wait - lukewarm, bland and tasted unreasonable. It was rudely complained and there was no apology. Absolutely not recommended – nothing is right here.

Arrived as an away guest and was complained about by the chefs/waiters and treated as less valuable. I advise against visiting this extremely unfriendly restaurant. In addition, the food is definitely not worth the price.

We ate there with 9 boys and got pasta with tomato paste instead of pizza and were then insulted because a waiter ran into our tennis bag.

We ate there one Saturday evening before a concert in the exhibition halls. Almost all the tables were free. We all just ordered pizza because there wasn't much choice, and we didn't really like anything else. There were four of us, and three of us had pizzas with salami on top. We were surprised that the salami was just on top of the pizza and not baked with it. None of us really liked it. Card payments are only accepted for €30 or more. Very unusual these days...

Yesterday we had dinner at Daniele's before the Fortuna home game. The food and service were excellent. Great atmosphere in good weather.

We were completely satisfied. Everything went super quickly, and the service was super friendly and helpful!

As per previous reviews, we discovered they only take cash, but only when come to pay the bill. Surely, it would be useful to tell us when ordering, so the embarrassing situation can be avoided. Solved by paying a local via PayPal, not by any help at all from the staff. Food was good, but need to seriously move into the cashless world we are in!

Unfortunately we were greeted so unfriendly that we left straight away.

At the beginning I asked whether you could pay by card. Answer: Yes, but only EC card, from 30€. All right, so we ordered food. Just want to pay, sorry, only cash payment right now. We are missing 4 euros. They can't do anything now, we have to find the money somehow. We wouldn't have ordered so much if we had known that. Don't even go there, absolutely disorganized and unfriendly. P.S. Thanks to the nice gentleman behind me who gave me the money!

Today (Saturday April 27th, 2024) we had an extremely disappointing experience with Trattoria Daniele when I tried to organize food for our Panther U-10 team's training. We needed a significant amount of pizza and on the phone I was specifically advised against ordering individual pizzas. Instead, I was recommended to buy two pizza trays for a total of 100 euros, 50 euros per tray. Unfortunately, the amount of pizza we received was woefully inadequate and was only about half of what we would have received had we ordered 12 individual pizzas - which we could have done for the same price. This misleading suggestion not only resulted in us paying twice as much as usual, but also in not having enough food available to us. When I raised this issue, the staff simply told me that it was just my bad luck. This response was not only unprofessional, but also indicated a deliberate attempt to defraud for greater profit. I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Trattoria Daniele not to do so. It appears that their business practices are aimed at maximizing profits rather than ensuring customer satisfaction and transparency. I feel sorry for the children and families who have been raising money over the last few months so we can hold events like this, only to be scammed by a restaurant. I hope the chefs of this restaurant are proud of themselves.

simple. wine well tempered. pizza a bit loveless. espresso delicious. Prices just acceptable.

I had a pizza parma. It was really good. There was also chili and garlic oil. Service was also very friendly. The other dishes also looked very good.

I don't understand the bad reviews: the Pizza Parma was really good, the Nero Tavola was reasonable for the price and the service was friendly. There was also a sports program from the tennis court.

We were at the Invictus Games and wanted to grab a bite to eat nearby! I had a delicious salad and we ate comfortably outside in the beautiful grounds of the TC Rheinstadion because the trattoria is integrated there! We will definitely remember the location if we visit an event at the Rheinstadion again!

+ fresh ingredients + good location next to the stadium - overwhelmed employees (I don't think there's usually that much going on) - long waiting times - missing dishes - high prices - simple atmosphere with a view of the tennis court

We waited more than half an hour to even be able to order. Only for us to be told that pizzas are no longer being served but we could try the salad. Then waited another 20 minutes. The staff wasn't really friendly either and the prices don't do the food justice at all. (Paid almost €30 for 2 salads)

Unfreundliches Personal, ewig auf Getränke und Essen gewartet und dann noch freche Antworten. Essen war ok wurde aber auch noch falsch zubereitet. Alles in einem keine tolle Erfahrung nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Gefrituurde snitzels zonder smaak en nemen geen contanten aan. Dit merk je niet op als de deur waar dit op gemeld staat, open staat.. Daarbij bediening met een humeur.. nee..geen aanrader voor mij.

▶️ Das Essen kann ich leider nicht bewerten. Obwohl ich für den 04.06.23/16:45 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt hatte, gab es einige Probleme. Zunächst findet man diese Pizzeria sehr schlecht…. Warum?? Diese Pizzeria ist Bestandteil des angrenzenden Tennisclub und nicht gut ausgeschildert. Parkplätze sind hier ebenfalls Fehlanzeige. Somit musste ich ein paar mal im Kreis fahren und mir für €10,- auf dem Stadionparkplatz ein Parkschein lösen. 😠 Nach einigen suchen und Personen Befragungen, wo wir eventuell diese Pizzeria finden könnten, wurde uns erklärt, wo wir diese finden. Angekommen um unseren reservierten Tisch zu bekommen, sagte man uns, das es heute aufgrund eines Tennisturnier die Teilnehmer bevorzugt werden und wir hier heute kein Essen bekommen könnten, oder aber mit sehr langer Wartezeit rechnen müssten. Das wenige Personal war verständlicherweise total überfordert mit den vielen Gästen und der Chef dementsprechend unverschämt, frech und schreiend mit einem anderen Gast beschäftigt. Wäre ich Betreiber dieser Tennisanlage gewesen, wäre dieser Pächter der Pizzeria zum letzten Mal hier tätig geworden. Einfach nur Unfähig und planlos. Außer das Parkticket für €10,- war nichts…. 😤 Danke für nichts…..!!!!
