Unfortunately, I wasn't able to test the service. It was a Friday, 8 p.m., and the kitchen was already closed. A few employees were still cleaning and told me their last round would be at 7:30 p.m. So please correct the opening hours. It says until 9 p.m.!

The food looked good so we were happy to find this restaurant on the airport. However the service disappointed us. We were lured in by an employee under the false pretense that it would take 20 minutes to prepare the dishes. This was important, as we told her that we did not have much time left until our flight. After waiting for 30 minutes, we found out that they forgot our order, which left us with no other choice to run to our flight without having eaten anything. For this, we give it two stars.

Brutally bad service. At an airport, where time is of the essence, this place doesn't care one bit. We waited forever to order, and for drinks as well, and if we hadn't gotten our pizza ourselves (truly), it would probably still be sitting on the counter. Never again. I don't recommend it.

Rude service the waitress was very rude and the pizza I got was poor it had 4 sad olives on it and in other tables were richer if u aren’t German they have a problem with u tbh at least it was tasty and the dough was really good

Rudest waiter ever. We wanted to visit with my son to watch some airplanes as we eat and found a table near the window. But the waiter prevented us from sitting there, stating he has no time to setup service there in the rudest possible tone. Never again.

One waitress (Anna) was super nice. The other waiters weren't particularly nice. When I paid, I didn't even get a "thank you," not even for the undeserved tip. There were constant, loud arguments, which spoiled the otherwise pleasant airport atmosphere. They also said they were closed at 7:45 p.m. to welcome potential new guests, even though they're open until 9 p.m. The food was quite good. Unfortunately, the noodles weren't spicy, even though I was told they were spicy when I ordered. Overall, I can only recommend it with reservations.

Apparently, no staff were scheduled for Family Day at the airport. We waited an hour to order, and another hour for the food. 5-6 people at the neighboring table left because of no service. Disastrous wait times; best avoided during peak times when you're hungry or have children.

I've rarely experienced such poor service. Rude, unpunctual, and extremely unprofessional. If you call, you can't reach anyone - you're not served in person. I'm trying to force this branch to close. It's a disgrace.

Service was absolutely terrible. They started by serving tables behind me first. Then they told me the wait for pizza was 20-30 minutes or even longer. After 15 minutes, a small beer arrived, which was served without a crown and was under the 0.3 liter mark. Once and never again!

We just wanted to take our son pasta after the flight, he is 15 months old and was very hungry. First of all, they checked whether we even had a child, as if we were committing a crime because they didn't see our little one directly because he was standing behind the suitcases. The little one cried because he was hungry. We asked in advance how long the small portion would take. We were told a maximum of 15 minutes. I want to emphasize that we are at an airport where something like this should actually happen quickly. Well we waited over half an hour for this portion. When asked, it was obvious that this portion had been forgotten and the boss took care of it without apologizing. We regularly eat at Losteria in other cities and have always been treated courteously, but unfortunately not at all here. You should sometimes act without the prospect of big sales and out of humanity, especially with a small child. We have left money at this airport branch countless times. But this action was not okay.

The service was generally friendly. Two new employees were just being trained, but at least they were trying hard. I was there alone and ordered a plain margarita with a burrata. Many tables came after me and have already received their food. I waited for 40 minutes and the staff only came to me after I asked. After we finished our meal, the waitress removed the plates and immediately placed a “Reserved” sign on our table – before we even asked to sit for a moment. When I politely asked if it was okay if we stayed for another 10 minutes or so, she acted annoyed, as if we were a burden. We were friendly the whole time, consumed properly and behaved respectfully. This rude and dismissive reaction was all the more disappointing. That's not how you treat paying guests - we definitely won't be coming back.

Although the store's opening hours state that it's open until 9 p.m., I couldn't place an order until 8:30 p.m. Apparently, everything had already been cleaned.

Nice view of the airfield. Very large pizza with very thin crispy dough. The spaghetti carbonara was also a good portion to fill you up.

food is worst i have tried in other losteria i liked it. but here it dint reach customer expectation atleast a bit. the worst food i had in germany is this . i spend around 40 euro paste and pizza both doesnt taste good. bbq pizza its full of sause and chiken pasta is full of cheese no chicken expect 3 pieces and taste sucks really bad

This L'Osteria is located in the departure area before check-in, so you can go there even if you haven't booked a flight. The food, as in all L'Osteria locations, is a bit more expensive, but very tasty. The pizzas in particular are huge and you get something for your money. Unfortunately, the service is sometimes a bit chaotic. We've been there five times now, and almost every time there were small errors in the orders. We noticed almost every time that the employees don't write down the orders - even if there are five of us there. Maybe that's why? Nevertheless, it is nice and quiet there. From the ambience you don't notice that you are in an airport, and yet one of the highlights is the beautiful view of the tarmac. It's a special feeling and something interesting always happens.

Wir waren am 08.01.25 gegen 10 Uhr hier. Wollten vor dem Flug eine Kleinigkeit essen. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Aber Bombe war die Bedienung. So freundlich, so zuvorkommend und dazu unaufdringlich, das haben wir am Flughafen noch nicht gehabt! Danke!

We were here on 01/08/25 around 10am. Wanted to grab a bite to eat before the flight. The food was really delicious. But the service was bomb. So friendly, so accommodating and unobtrusive, we've never had anything like that at the airport! Thanks!

Very nice view of the tarmac, it's fun to have something to eat at the airport. The service staff were all very friendly and it was really very busy. As always, the pizza tasted very tasty and was eaten with a delicious salad, We'd love to come back.

Had a delicious pizza, huge. There are vegan options (with vegan cheese and chicken pieces!), which is very nice because there seemed to be little vegan choice elsewhere at the airport. It was bizarre how few English-speaking staff there were, which made communication quite difficult.

At first they didn't want to put a table for us together by the window because it would be too complicated...but then when they realized that we (larger group) would then leave and the sales were gone, they put us at another table, where we had a short one Some time later we were able to move to the large neighboring table. The children also had the opportunity to watch airplanes. The food was below average, although one dish unfortunately stood out completely negatively. The tuna pizza. Actually it was okay, but I lay in bed all night and the entire next day with diarrhea, vomiting and cramps... Diagnosis: fish poisoning. The fish has probably been open for a while. Never again!

Great view of the runway. Suitable either before or after the flight or for a trip to the airport. Pizza came quickly and was of the usual L'Osteria quality. Prices are a little more expensive than other branches, but what do you expect at the airport? Service friendly. Shortcoming: we couldn't pay with vouchers because the branch doesn't have a reader for it. The waitress didn't understand why that was the case.

Die Bedienung war nicht wirklich freundlich. Mit der Küche wurde durch das Ganze Restaurant durch schreien kommuniziert. Der Kollegin wurde von der Bedienung mitgeteilt, dass sie die Tische nicht abräumen soll, damit sich keine neuen Gäste hinsetzen. Ab 20:00 Uhr wurde allen neu ankommenden Gästen gesagt, dass es nur noch Thekenplätze gibt und die Küche geschlossen sei. Es wurde mehrere Essen vergessen. alles in allem ein wirklich schlechter Service und dadurch leider ein schlechtes Erlebnis. Schade, wenn man von L’Osteria ansonsten besseres gewöhnt ist.

I was at the airport today and just went to L'Osteria. I was very satisfied with the service, the employees were nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty. I would recommend the L'Osteria at Düsseldorf Airport, but I don't understand the negative reviews. You guys are great 👍

Although there was little going on, there were long waiting times. Unfortunately the drinks were only brought with the meal. The request to pay by card was met with a snarky remark from the waitress. The only positive thing was the food, which was of the usual excellent quality.

Due to traffic problems we were forced to spend time at the airport. Luckily, in addition to the friendly, very helpful staff, there is also gluten-free and soy-free pasta. And if you're lucky, there's also a gluten-free dessert. Probably the only place for this at DUS airport.

Very good and cozy for an airport restaurant. You get the usual L'Osteria quality and also a huge pizza. You also have a great view of the runway. Terrible service and waiting times. By far the worst in the chain. The restaurant was empty and they still took over an hour to serve. Not to mention that after we sat down it took 10 min for a waiter to get to take our order. Terrible experience.

Should we go to the shop? It's a small shop in the airport, but it's been beautifully decorated and something has really been thought of. The tables are nicely arranged and you can look directly onto the tarmac. The service staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We listened to your wishes and gave you good advice about the menu. The food tasted very fresh, the pizza was crispy and airy and there was plenty of toppings, and the salad that came with it was more than satisfactory. The only point of criticism, in my opinion, is that the tables are quite close to each other and so you have less privacy and the atmosphere in the room is very loud, because we heard the people sitting next to us talking about us without them shouting All in one area very happy with the visit. I'll be happy to come back when I fly from Düsseldorf again and thank you for the lovely evening.

We ate very well, the dishes were well served and very tasty! The pizza is huge hahaha, good for 2 people! Facing the airport runway, we distracted ourselves by watching the planes and drinking a cold beer. Very good!

The food and the location are great. The view of the runway is mega. But the service is just very bad. I have experienced the same service behavior several times. Harsh tone, stressful, stroppy and unfriendly. Not accommodating and you don't feel welcome or valued as a guest. Every waiter is always annoyed, dissatisfied and doesn't enjoy their work. As a guest you get in a bad mood. There is clearly a lack of a capable restaurant manager.

My kids wanted pasta so we went to L'Osteria. Our hotel was at the airport. The food pasta and pizza were quite ok. It is a bit humid sitting there, so not that comfortable. But worst part, there were no toilets. You had to use the airport onces which were a mile away. With just me and the kids, I had to leave one at the table to go back and forth to the restroom just to wash your hand. A real letdown.

After checking in our luggage in DUS, we still had about an hour until check-in and were hungry. So before we sat down I asked if things were going quickly at the moment. It happened very quickly and they said we should take a seat. After taking a seat, no one came to take the order for almost 20 minutes. After that it went really quickly - less than 10 minutes later the food was there. To pay we spoke to a waiter. “Not responsible”. After another 10 minutes of waiting and speaking to other waiters twice, the first one was suddenly responsible. But we didn't get paid at the table, we were the only ones who had to come to the reception desk. I have never seen my wife not tip. Here for the first time. And what happened? The guy simply took his own tip (presumably of course!) and gave the wrong change. It was noticed that he suddenly couldn't do even the simplest mathematics, etc. Well, the taste of the food was definitely okay, as was the time it took to order until the food arrived. The rest was a disaster, especially when you're based at the airport and guests say they have to get a plane. Well-intentioned 2 out of 5 stars. Not necessarily again.

Never again!!! One employee was nice, everyone else probably didn't want to... Had to wait an extremely long time. We would have to wait more than 20 minutes just to pay. The nice one wasn't allowed to collect. The guy just kept saying wait. The ideal place for unmotivated snorers - but at an airport that's completely out of place.

Today we left the restaurant straight away without ordering anything (we didn't have the opportunity to do so either). Absolutely not a good start to the holiday. We were warmly welcomed next door. We have once again experienced the worst service ever. After 20 minutes we spoke to a waitress so that we could even order. Unfortunately, we apparently interrupted a private conversation and the following charming comment was made: "I'm going to go for a moment, otherwise I'll be killed by the stares." Disastrous service! We were there at peak dinner time at 8pm. Empty restaurant, several waiters, who unfortunately were all just chatting. After 15 minutes without being able to place an order, we left again. The headquarters of this restaurant chain must urgently intervene here if they do not want to lose any more guests.

The very rude lady at reception deliberately overlooks you so that she can get off work on time. The end of the day is sacred and is a blessing, but it's nice to say that the kitchen is closed. 2024-05-19. Salami Pizza €14.50. For a restaurant in an airport, I'm satisfied. Big portion that really satiated and good taste. What drags it down is that the staff prioritize bringing in new customers and completely forget about those who are already sitting and eating. Long waiting time to both get drinks, food and pay. A lot of running and shouting from the staff during the lunch rush, which caused their stress to rub off on the guests. But am overall satisfied with my choice of restaurant before departure on the flight.

Service very nice and accommodating. Absolutely normal, fair prices for the airport. The noodles absolutely good and tasty. Children's meals unbeatably cheap. The advantage for children is that you have a beautiful view of the apron and runway 👍🏼

Everything was great. The pizza dough is very thin, so you can make it 45 cm. You can have different toppings on the halves and even share 1 pizza.

Apart from the fact that the table was dirty.. and was only cleaned under observation with a water bottle and a cloth.. the pictures show how dirty the shop is.. I have been to this restaurant at the airport many times because the view of the planes is very good and the food is also tasty. However, the service and friendliness of the employees (except the Thai colleague) is underground. Unfriendly, uncooperative, bored, not customer oriented. I will look for an alternative in the future.

Unfortunately, this restaurant lives up to its reputation. The service is incredibly unfriendly. The restaurant was moderately busy, so there was no stress.
