We have had a very tasty meal in this small trattoria so far, we feel like we are in the original rural Italy, the family restaurant with a small menu always surprises with new tasty dishes, as is usual in Italy there is no pizza, we are already looking forward to the next nice evening!

Small, quirky family trattroia. You can sit outside, the menu is clear, but the food is delicious. All in all, there is still room for improvement, hence only 3 stars. But I would definitely like to come back...

A little hidden snack that I tested today. The gyro skewer was almost empty and the meat was relatively dry. The taste is okay but the seasoning means it's okay. Pita was not rolled as described on the menu, but only in bread, which tasted very sweet and somehow didn't really fit. Salads and onions sit unrefrigerated in metal bowls on the counter. I don't know where the tzatziki came from, somewhere in the back room, hopefully at least it was chilled. In any case, the spoon was lying on the dirty shelf at the front with some tzatziki on it. Work was done with hands, where previously people smoked outside and wiped sweat from their foreheads. Unfortunately, hygiene seems to be a problem here. The request to receive the Gyros Pita without salad and cabbage was answered with a slightly cynical "Yes, if you say so." Food was definitely not bad overall, but many other points, especially hygiene, definitely need to be worked on. Otherwise, a surprise check from the health department will be very unpleasant.

Very nice and stylish accommodation. The service right from the start........and the kitchen get 5 stars....and 6 hearts from me. Rarely experienced so courteous and attentive. I would like to have the chef in my private kitchen. It couldn't be tastier. ......always my pleasure. Keep it up. ❤️🍀🌀🍄

You don't even get a notification when you have made a reservation and the restaurant is closed. We were standing in front of the door with a lot of people. They also had our number. Really sad.

That's what schnitzel should be like! I'd already been whispered to by experts that the pork schnitzels here are supposed to be top-notch: And yes, I just came back from there and am absolutely thrilled with what was served to me. I've actually learned to cook since the coronavirus pandemic, and I really don't think my schnitzels are bad. I hadn't found anything comparable in a restaurant until now, but now I do! Beautiful, juicy meat in a very tasty breading, and in my case, with a creamy mushroom sauce that rounded off the whole thing wonderfully. There are other sauces, too, but that's yet to be tested. Also commendable: The meal was accompanied by an extremely delicious, probably homemade tzatziki and excellently seasoned fries. I particularly liked that the chef is very good at using not only spices but also herbs. The coleslaw that served as a side dish also deserves a mention; it was very well dressed. It's definitely worth driving up there just for the schnitzel. It's clear that the ambiance still needs work: We old Viersen residents experienced the restaurant in its heyday, with pots only served outside, etc., and also its decline and long vacancy. All of this can't be easily undone, and restoring it costs a lot of money. Nevertheless, the dining rooms, restrooms, and outdoor area are clean and tidy; everything else will come with time. I wish the current owners much success and please keep up the good work!

Absolutely recommended! Extremely stylish location with flair, live TV from the kitchen and really good quality food! I recommend the “surprise” menu, which is available as a variant in several courses. Unfortunately only open a few days a week! Try!
