A very nice atmosphere and friendly, fast service. The pizza had way too much cheese (for my taste). But the pepperoni was amazing, as was the dough. We'll definitely be back 😊

We arrived there in the evening with a large group for a trade fair. A pleasant and relaxed atmosphere awaited us. Despite the restaurant being full, we were able to have a good conversation. The food was excellent. The pizza and salads were very tasty.

Unfortunately, our reservation had disappeared, and this was discussed at length, even though there was still plenty of room in the restaurant. It seems you only get a truly warm welcome if you're a regular there.

Our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away, and after the church service, we spontaneously went to a restaurant for a quick drink, as many family members had traveled from further afield. Right at the entrance, a waiter, who was about 4 feet 7 inches tall, made an unfriendly comment, asking how long we would be staying and telling us we needed to hurry. We told him we would. After we ordered, I politely asked if the Margherita pizza could simply be placed in front of me as soon as it was ready, since I can't eat meat because it makes me ill. He then looked at me pale and condescendingly, as if I were giving him orders. Throughout our entire visit, he was very unfriendly to us, truly unprofessional. However, I would like to expressly commend the other waiter, the taller one: He was extremely polite and attentive. The shorter one, on the other hand, was very rude, unfriendly, and truly pathetic.

A very charming restaurant in the Westend district. It was such a treat to eat at a "real" Italian restaurant again. We had pasta and an Italian salad, as well as bruschetta as a starter; everything was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The salad was fresh and so generous that I couldn't finish it. The service was very friendly and attentive—everything was perfect. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We went there for the first time yesterday, and I highly recommend it! The service is excellent, very friendly, and it's easy to strike up a conversation. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Adrien from the Rocky movies. You just feel right at home. The music was 70s/80s soul yesterday, which was perfect! We'll definitely be back.

I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. The pizza Parma was very generously topped. Beforehand, I was treated to a welcome treat from the kitchen: small pizza rolls with a delicious dip. They also added a spicier oil to the pizza, which tasted perfect. Be careful, use it sparingly, and it's incredibly delicious. TOP-NOTCH price-performance ratio!

Located at the corner of a quiet alley, on the first floor of a very elegant old house, the yard is full of open-air seats, the tables are covered with country-style tablecloths, and the dining atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable! The meals are amazing, and the serving rhythm is just right. The service staff handed over the sauce or cheese powder at the right time, and asked the guests' needs at any time without feeling disturbed! Overall, it is recommended for gourmets who want to enjoy food quietly! It will definitely be on the pocket list when visiting Frankfurt!

I have never been treated so poorly in any restaurant in my life. The staff at Trattoria Amici in Frankfurt were shockingly rude and dismissive from the moment we walked in. Their attitude was not just unfriendly—it was downright hostile. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. I cannot understand how a place with such unprofessional and unpleasant service continues to operate. Absolutely disgraceful experience. Avoid at all costs.

We went to Amici the first time and it was absolutely a great evening. We had all different dishes and all of them were superb, the atmosphere is wonderful and we had a good laugh with the wonderful people serving there. Loved it and come back.

It is difficult to understand what could be the reason for the restaurateur to behave like this towards a large group of guests. Everyone thought it was a shame. I'll definitely go to a different restaurant next time. The fact that we were sent out shortly after half past ten is all the more surprising since the opening time is stated until 00:00. Then being unfriendly was the height of devaluation...

Nicht wieder.. Das Essen war lecker, der Service bis nach dem Essen freundlich, dann wurde es unfreundlich... Es ist schwer zu verstehen, was der Grund für den Gastronomen sein kann, sich einer großen Gruppe von Gästen gegenüber so verhalten. Alle fanden es schade. Bein nächsten Mal sicher in einem anderen, freundlicheren Restaurant.

I was in Frankfurt on business this week and spontaneously went in to order a pizza bresaola. I was told to wait 20 minutes. I didn't mind because my first impression was so positive that I was happy to do it. The weather was pleasant so I waited outside. I didn't look at the clock but less than 15 minutes later the waiter was attentive enough to come outside and ask me for the pizza. Brilliant!

The food was mediocre, the service was very unfriendly, and at 2:20 p.m. we were very rudely informed that we had to pay and leave because they were closing at 2:30 p.m. When we asked in surprise – the restaurant's door and online stated 3 p.m. as the closing time – we received an even ruder response. Truly not recommended!

Es un lugar muy agradable y acogedor. Pedimos unas bruschettas de entrada que estaba ricas, una pizza para compartir que era más bien normal pero también rica y de postre un tiramisú que estaba exquisito. El aperol spritz muy bueno tmb! Lo recomiendo si buscan algo tranquilo y rico a la vez!

I don't recommend it at all.16 Eur for a pasta and I swear I can make a better one at home. I know 16EUR is normal in this area, but the minimum I would expect from an Italian restaurant is that the pasta is Al Dente. The noodles were extremely soft, it looked like they had been left to cook for 40 minutes. The only good thing about the place is the service, the people are very friendly.

Pleasant Italian restaurant with delicious food

A little dream. Many people know that. It's sometimes difficult to find a seat at lunchtime. But it always worked for us thanks to the help of the waiter.

Literally THE BEST! Stumbled upon this place at the end of our holiday in Europe and we are so happy! The atmosphere is so fun! And the food is incredible! We had a variety, pasta, salad and apps. All was perfect! The service and the guys are awesome!

I've had dinner at Trattoria Amici in Frankfurt's Westend four times now. After the first time (November 2022) I was positively impressed by the rustic Italian atmosphere, the delicious Italian delicacies and the friendly service. We go to Formnext with our company's marketing team every November. Since we have to be at the trade fair stand early on Mondays to set up, we always arrive on Sundays. It has now become a tradition that we always go to Trattoria Amici for dinner on Sundays. And it's always exceptionally good there. This year I even ate there alone again during the week of the trade fair; my colleagues preferred to go to Vietnamese. It's not bad either, but I didn't want to have to wait another year to taste my beloved spaghetti carbonara. Thank you very much, dear Trattoria Amici team, it always gives me a special pleasure to spend a wonderful evening with you. A real tip for me.

The atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy Italian classics. Starters: A successful start The starters were consistently delicious, with the Vitello Tonnato in particular proving to be a highlight – tender, tasty and to the point. The other guests' dishes also looked promising and left a good impression. Main course: light and shadow Unfortunately, my main course didn't score as well as the starter. It was very oily and tasted different than expected. That took away from the experience, but it was still okay overall. Conclusion: Trattoria Amici offers solid, authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. While the starters are clearly convincing, some of the main courses could still use some improvement. However, for a relaxed meal with friends it is a good choice!

Authentic Italian restaurant, comfortably furnished. Good selection of food & drinks, food was solid. Unfortunately, the service is very disappointing, questions about allergens or ingredients are not answered (probably due to ignorance) and if you ask more detailed questions, you are disrespectfully insulted by the cellar, which is a shame. Unfortunately that was the first & last visit there.

Wow, this place was wonderful! The pizza was amazing. Really tasty and perfectly made. The mood is really nice too with the traditional table cloths, the lovely interior deco and french oldies playing, very nostalgic with flair. Of course the staff was excellent too, kind and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend and come again!

It's unbelievable how guests are treated here. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted in an extremely unfriendly manner by the boss. After it became clear that we had reserved for a very large group, we were shown the tables. But there wasn't enough space here or enough for everyone. When we really kindly pointed out that it was all too tight and not everyone would fit, the boss got really rude. It has to fit and it's done. Our point that his tone wasn't really appropriate was met with the fact that we can leave if we don't like it. The entire group (20 people) did the same. Everyone in the group was “shocked” by the behavior and choice of words. I have never had such an experience with a restaurateur or other service staff. I can't write anything about the food since we didn't even come to order.

Trapattoni would have said: What does Struuuunz allow? I've really never experienced anything so unfriendly. Be rude to members of a larger group, probably don't want to earn money or simply don't need it. Hospitality equals 0! We left without food... Ps. The towel paper in the toilet needs to be refilled 😉

Registered with a large group! 2 were missing, the landlord insulted them directly as to why they hadn't canceled... they were also set up for fewer people! Very arrogant there! Then they all closed straight away! Service is totally subpar...usually no star! Unfortunately we couldn't say anything about the food. It's a shame that the guest there isn't worth anything...

Unfriendly waiter, prices were extremely excessive even for trade fair times, questions about vegan dishes were dismissed, vegans only eat salad anyway. The ambience of the winter garden was also not inviting. We didn't feel well and left after a drink.

The food was really very tasty. There were four of us and everyone had something different and everyone was thrilled. Waiters were also very friendly and attentive. Ambiance is nice, just be aware that it might get a little cozy further in as the seats are a bit tight, but still comfortable. I'd love to come back.

Our Quandoo reservation during the book fair week for 2 people from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. was canceled without prior notice because we arrived at the restaurant almost 15 minutes late (there is nothing about this in the reservation conditions). Apparently our table was already taken. While I was still in the restaurant, I made a new reservation via Quandoo for 7:30 p.m., for which free tables were displayed - and received a confirmation from Quandoo. But this reservation was not accepted by the restaurant either. Instead of apologizing for the chaos of his reservation system and the apparently faulty connection to Quandoo, the unfriendly waiter blamed Quandoo solely and asked us to leave his restaurant. What an impudence!

The restaurant and the food are really top. I am very happy to have found such a pearl in the middle of Frankfurt!

This trattoria is truly a hidden gem! I’m so glad a friend recommended it, as I might have missed out otherwise. The food was excellent—portions were generous, and everything was served promptly. The friendly waiter went above and beyond to help us choose from the menu, even taking the time to explain some Italian ingredients we weren’t familiar with. Restaurant located in a quiet street, close to a major road, the front is very picturesque and makes you want to enter. In front of the door we see the typical red and white checkered tablecloths, the atmosphere, the decorations, the music and the staff respect the Italian atmosphere and it is very pleasant and exotic. The food is very good, there is a choice of traditional Italian dishes, the only downside is the minimum of 25 euros for the bank card, to remember if you come alone!

Waiters not friendly at all and close to rude as if they preferred we would not eat at their place. Asked to add a table for our 8 people group as part of the restaurant was empty but they refused categorically. Food was ok but not overwhelming. We had to wait more than 40 min for our starters even. Will not go there second time. We spent quite some money there and didn’t get the service we expected.

Very good, nice Italian restaurant with the same flair. The staff is nice. There is always a lunch menu and bread with oil and vinegar in advance. You should make a reservation if you are coming with several people.

The internet says the pizza is open until 11 p.m. but it was already closed at 9:50 p.m. when we got there

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit einer schönen Terrasse zum draußen sitzen. Wir hatten von der Tageskarte ein Gericht genommen. Es gabs auch dazu noch einen Salat. Die Nudeln waren al dente gekocht und die Soße dazu war sehr frisch und intensiv. Am Schluss gab es noch einen Espresso der auch sehr gut war. Die Bedienungen waren nett und auch unter Spannung da man volles Haus hatte. Zur Mittagszeit würde ich eine reservation empfehlen da es immer voll wird zu Mittag.
