Pizza is quite good. Only the service is a bit rough (unless you're a regular customer).

Incredibly bold and rude! We ordered online and everything we hadn't ordered arrived wrong. Then they don't even apologize on the phone and become loud and rude.

I can highly recommend the wood-fired pizza. Loving original Italian (😉🤌) service and very good value for money. It's been a long time since I've had a pizza where everything was just right.

Ordered food worth 135 euros at 4:10 p.m. No food arrived until 5:30 p.m., no notification. Calls only went to voicemail and no one could be reached For 130 euros I expect a little more Addendum: the driver came at 6 p.m.! 1:50h after the telephone order. I tried calling there 11 times. ELEVEN times. Nobody could be reached and had canceled the order on the mailbox

Top food, we don't need to talk to waiters about it, you are always treated so well. We are also happy to order for delivery, the food is always warm and super quick. Would recommend everyone to order food there directly by phone, you can call without third-party providers. Really cool Italian!

Our favorite Italians 🥰 come here especially from Dreieich, that says it all. The Tagliatelle Tartufo in a Parmesan basket are a dream ♥️

I like the store (staff, atmosphere, etc.) and find it a shame to change my originally very good rating BUT: almost 10 euros for a Margherita or 13 euros for a pizza with ham and mushrooms is not clear, especially when similar shops nearby charge much more normal prices for at least the same food (approx. 6.50 € for a Margherita, e.g. ) Today we paid over €41 for three pizzas (delivered), which I find to be absolutely disproportionate. Personally, I'm out and won't eat or order here again because of the price/performance ratio, although there's actually nothing wrong with the service and ambience. EDIT: Rating reduced from 4/5 to 2/5.

If you want to be served in a friendly and high-quality manner, then this is the place to eat. Special recommendation: Tortelloni al Pesto or the rump steak with onions 🤤 always top

Great Italian restaurant with fast and friendly service. Also has excellent take-out service.

Absolutely recommended. The entire service team was super friendly. Very clean and cozy restaurant. Large menu as well as many daily recommendations and everything at fair prices. At the end there was a high-octane drink or espresso on the house. I recommend reserving a table, especially at the weekend.

We were at Forno D'Oro at lunchtime and really enjoyed it. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Particularly nice: Although we had reserved a table, we preferred to sit somewhere else, that wasn't a problem, it was made possible in a very friendly manner. The food was first class! We had the daily menu of truffle pasta and tortelloni with ricotta and lobster as well as two dishes from the regular menu. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted great and you can tell the quality. A big compliment to the team, who put a lot of passion into making sure that you feel comfortable as a guest. Clear recommendation, we'll be back!

Great Italians, were there spontaneously with lots of children. Nice service good food. Pizza from the wood oven was great. Neighboring table had pasta served in an edible parmesan baked plate. I'll take that next time.

PIZZA crispy and delicious, 5 stars. The sea bream good, 4 stars. The service was friendly 4 stars. The restaurant is very squat and with a lot of chatter between the rows of tables, 3 stars. Prices are fair, 4 stars. I.e. pizza to go, great. Eating there can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable - a shame because the food is really good.

It's a slightly smaller pizzeria. The pizza is made in a wood-fired oven. Apparently the owners are Italian and that's why the dough is much better than anything you get from other “pizzerias”. The topping is fresh and aromatic. One of the best pizzas you can get. When we were here, everyone in the restaurant was in a great mood, it was really fun. If we're in the area again it's a must to come here

Excellent meal from starter to dessert and the waiter was very friendly

The vitello tonnato was very tasty, although the portion could have been a little larger. The pizza dough wasn't to our liking, although it was otherwise good. There is Weihenstephan on tap... very tasty and not available on every corner. What we saw on the neighboring tables, salad, pasta, schnitzel, everything looked very appealing. We will therefore come back and order something other than pizza. :-) Service very nice and quick.

I have often ordered food here, very tasty food and fast service. Very nice and well-kept suppliers, I'm happy to leave a tip. I'm always happy to order again. It's best to call and order, it's the quickest way.

Friendly staff, warm inviting atmosphere. This is the best Italian food my wife and I have ever experienced. The prices and portions are very reasonable too. We found the place by accident, but the food is so good we went back the very next night for dinner. Would definitely recommend it!

We were in Frankfurt for a few days and this restaurant was recommended to us by Google. I had a tomato soup, it tasted good, but it could have been fruitier and it tasted weakly seasoned. However, it's all a matter of taste. The pasta with salmon was very tasty and the salmon wasn't too dry either. The dish was well seasoned.

We were on vacation and found this quaint Italian restaurant. The menu was good providing many pizza and pasta options whilst also having some steak and seafood to choose from. The service was quick and the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. My wife ordered the Gnocchi and I ask for the seafood pasta; ordinarily this is served in a tomato sauce but I asked for a cream base and that was not a problem. Both dishes were great. The toilets were on the basement level but found to be modern, clean and tidy. I wanted to pay by Visa and the waiter said “oh Visa does not work in Germany!” I laughed and said I have been using it in Germany for the last three weeks without a problem. He said you need cash if you want to visit Germany, I said fine but I don’t have cash. He said ok well give it a go. Surprise surprise one of the biggest credit cards in the world works in Germany. So although this might seem like a minor…. For me it’s a major because effectively, no matter what he may say letter, he lied to me. I have no respect for liars and that was just dishonest.

Unfortunately it has been damaged again.... Ordered pizza to take away with tomatoes (fresh), mozzarella and basil. Cost: €10.20 It was only when I got home and opened the pizza box that I noticed that there was only tomato sauce and no fresh tomatoes on the pizza. Whether the cheese was actually mozzarella remains to be seen. Even if that was the case, the whole thing with a few basil leaves on top still made no sense as to what the price was. You really have to calculate everything in detail in advance. Very opaque!!

Attentive and friendly service and all dishes were delicious. The minestrone, for example, was really like it was made from nuts. Even the toilet is equipped with hand cream and deodorant.

The food is super tasty and the service is excellent. The ambience is nice and the food is really Italian. 1000% recommended.

The food is good, but they make you wait a long time. Reservations, we were told on the phone, were not necessary. Then we arrived and we were left standing in the entrance area for over five minutes (like idiots) without even giving us a glance. The host without hair passes us constantly and also has time to chat often. After we asked in annoyance where we could sit down, we had to wait an eternity for the card. This continues until the invoice. Unfortunately, the food also comes very staggered. We have eaten there several times, but this time was the last time. A pity.

Simply disgusting, I ordered the canneloni, the minced meat was at least 5 weeks old and Tk. IT was SPOILED. Smelled sour and tasted accordingly. They also fool your customers with extra flat rates. Really rude when ordering.

We were there on July 3, 2024. It was a special evening as the power went out for about two hours. Thanks to the “Golden Stove” and a large supply of wood, there was hardly any restriction. Rather, it was a very special atmosphere. The starters and main courses as well as the wine were particularly delicious. The waitress (junior chef?) is very attentive and has very impressive hearing. It was a very successful evening. Keep it up!

Forno D'Oro's pizza is wonderful. What's difficult is the host, who sometimes oversteps the mark with his hot temper.

Have been coming for many years and have to say that I feel very comfortable and that the food tastes fantastic. Even when the store is full, service is quick and what you order tastes great. I mostly see the son and son-in-law and have to say that the “generational change” works brilliantly here. Both very nice and talkative young gentlemen who do a great job. My girlfriend and I were recently recommended “Tagliatelle with truffles” and I have to say that this dish alone is amazing. We have also tried many other things and everything tastes very, very good. My absolute favorite Italian!!! 5 Stars!!

The store is becoming more and more expensive. You order two dishes within a radius of 1 km and it costs 22 euros. Sometimes the taste is good, sometimes not. Sometimes warm, sometimes cold. Price-performance ratio has therefore decreased.

Even late at night you can still get something to eat, which has become really rare... Thank you very much!

Warm homely, impeccable food and nice service

I've known this restaurant since it opened in the 80s. Always friendly and good food. Prices ok too.

We have picked up food here several times and/or had it delivered to us. Since I come from the area, I know the pizzeria very well. I think the pizza - as long as you eat it on site or get it yourself - is delicious. It's not the best pizza but it's far from bad either. It is baked in a wood oven which makes it so interesting as not many people do this anymore. The staff is almost always very unfriendly and sometimes really rude. Simply hang up when ordering even though you haven't finished ordering, etc. That's really audacious and can't be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness. Unfortunately, this didn't happen to us just once, otherwise I wouldn't mention it. Another time we had it delivered and received an ice-cold pizza after having to wait for more than an hour, even though it was supposed to be 20-30 minutes... but no one cared when we called to complain. Another time we looked on the website what we wanted to order as a group and pooled the money together. When I went to get the food the prices were completely different than those quoted online. When I asked what that was about, what seemed to be the most current flyer with the latest price adjustments was handed to me with the statement: “These are the new prices.” Well thank you, perhaps with a price adjustment you not only change the flyer but also the rest... really bad and rude. I have never experienced such subterranean communication with his guest/customer. There's always something going on and it just annoys me, so now we order or get something from somewhere else.

Wir haben hier schon öfter Essen geholt und/oder es uns liefern lassen. Da ich hier aus der Gegend komme ist mir die Pizzeria sehr gut bekannt. Ich finde die Pizza -sofern man sie vor Ort isst oder selber holt- lecker. Sie ist nicht die beste Pizza aber bei weitem auch keine schlechte. Sie wird im Holzofen gebacken was sie auch so interessant macht, da dies nicht mehr viele tun. Das Personal ist fast immer sehr unfreundlich und teilweise echt frech. Legen einfach auf bei der Bestellung obwohl man garnicht fertig ist mit bestellen usw. Das ist schon krass dreist und an unfreundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Das ist uns leider nicht nur einmal passiert, sonst würde ich es nicht erwähnen. Bei einem anderen mal haben wir uns liefern lassen und erhielten eine eiskalte Pizza nachdem wir länger als eine Stunde warten mussten, obwohl 20-30 Minuten angesagt wurden…das interessierte aber keinen als wir anriefen um uns zu Beschweren. Bei einem anderen mal haben wir auf der Website geschaut was wir als Gruppe bestellen wollen und das Geld zusammengelegt. Als ich das Essen dann holte wurden ganz andere Preise als im Internet genommen. Auf meine Frage was das soll wurde mir der scheinbar aktuellste Flyer mit den neusten Preisanpassungen in die Hand gedrückt mit der Aussage: „Das sind die neuen Preise.“ Na danke, vielleicht ändert man mit einer Preisanpassung nicht nur den Flyer sondern auch den Rest… richtig schlecht und frech. Ich habe noch nie so eine unterirdische Kommunikation mit seinem Gast/Kunde erlebt. Irgendwas ist immer und es nervt mich nur noch, daher bestellen oder holen wir jetzt woanders.

Carpaccio zum abholen 12,50 €... Ohne ein Stück Brot👎das ist nix.. Ich komme nicht wieder, das empfinde ich als Geiz

Absolute Empfehlung!! Wir hatten keinen Platz reserviert und bekamen noch einen Tisch, obwohl das Restaurant wirklich voll war. Die Auswahl und Vielfalt ist super, das Essen hat sehr gutgeschmeckt aber das Beste ist das Personal. So etwas nennt man Kundenorientierung, Aufmerksam und wahnsinnig freundlich. Ganz großes Lob und vielen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Unser absoluter Lieblings-Italiener in Preungesheim! Seit Jahrzehnten top Essen, liebevoller Service und gemütliches Ambiente. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her. Alle Gerichte, ob Pizza, Pasta, Salat, Steak und Nachtisch sind immer frisch und super lecker. Vor allem ist der Service einfach wundervoll zuvorkommend, so dass man sich richtig wohl fühlt, was ich im Restaurant neben dem Essen am allerwichtigsten finde. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Essen eigentlich lecker wobei der Geschmack einiger Gerichte (z.B. Rucolasalat) in letzter Zeit nachgelassen hat. Telefonisch ist das Restaurant schwer erreichbar. Letztens ging keiner dran und nach ca 30 Sekunden wurde man weggedrückt. Am Ende war es nicht möglich jemanden zu erreichen. Keine Ansage/AB nichts!!! Wenn man jemanden erreicht wird man fast angebrüllt (wegen der Hintergrundlautstärke).

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Das Essen ist lecker, die Pizza könnte nur ein wenig würziger sein. Der Salat war frisch und gut. Vom Ambiente her, ist es gemütlich. Auch draußen kann man gut sitzen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service sehr nett. Es war eine sehr lockere Stimmung. Leider kam allerdings das Essen sehr unterschiedlich schnell. Ich gehe dennoch sehr gerne hin.

The staff was very friendly. I had visited the restaurant alone. The staff patiently guided me on what are the nice vegetarian options. The ambiance is also very good. I had ordered Rigatoni ala Calabrese without parmesan cheese - It was very tasty (except for the Brinjal pieces as I personally don't like it).
