Sehr gutes Essen und prima Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Ist seit rd. 30 Jahren einer meiner Lieblings-Italiener.

Wir sind immer wieder mal in der Pizzeria und waren bisher auch zufrieden. Deshalb reservierte ich für eine private Geburtstagsfeier 2 Wochen vorher einen Tisch explizit draußen. Als wir an dem Tag ankamen, war zwar die Reservierung getätigt, aber den Zusatz draußen hatte man nicht notiert. Wir wurden dann nicht in dem schön eingedeckten und überdachten Gartenbereich platziert, sondern im Vorgarten schmutzigen und wackligen Metalltischen. Es stank nach Müll, war laut von der Straße und wimmelte nur so von Schmeißfliegen. Eine Pizza mit Thunfisch konnte garnicht gegessen werden, da sofort hunderte von diesen Fliegen darauf saßen, während man am Essen war. Leider hat dies die Bedienung nicht interessiert, ebenso nicht, dass der Boden unter den Tischen voller Glasscherben war. Schade, denn es hat die Geburtstagsfeier in keiner guten Erinnerung belassen.

Familiäres Ambiente. Ich habe mich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Essen war hervorragend. Alles, was man darüber hört, stimmt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Essen ist natürlich köstlich, aber euer Tartufo ist einfach magisch! Ich könnte es jeden Tag essen 🫃🏻 @Forno D’Oro Team: Leute, versteht mich nicht falsch. Ich liebe eure Küche, aber ich kann nicht jeden Tag im Restaurant essen… Hättet ihr etwas dagegen, wenn ich regelmäßig nur wegen dieses Desserts vorbeikomme?

Es wirkt nicht wie ein schickes Restaurant, aber der Service und die Qualität und der Geschmack des Essens waren gut. Wir saßen im überdachten Außenbereich. Es ist ein italienisches Restaurant, aber wir fanden kein Risotto auf der Speisekarte, also fragten wir nach. Die Bedienung war sehr hilfsbereit und zählte uns die verschiedenen Risotto-Varianten auf. Wir entschieden uns für das Risotto mit Kalbsleber und Pilzen und bereuten es nicht. Wir bekamen eine sehr leckere und großzügige Portion. Wenn sie etwas mehr Wert auf das Äußere legen würden, z. B. auf die Sauberkeit der Tischdecken, würde ich diesem Restaurant gerne fünf Sterne geben.

Die Pastagerichte waren fantastisch! Ich hatte Rigatoni Pesto und Tortalini alla Pane. Ein paar Tage später kam ich zurück, um die Pizza aus dem Holzofen zu probieren. Sie war köstlich!

Wir waren dort zum Abendessen; wir gehen immer dorthin, wenn wir in Frankfurt sind, dies war unser fünfter Besuch. Sie haben gemerkt, dass wir Touristen sind, und uns abgezockt. Wir bestellten zwei Portionen Spaghetti aglio, und der Kellner fragte, ob wir Calamari dazu möchten, was wir bejahten. Die Rechnung für die Spaghetti stieg von 9,50 € auf 25,50 €. Für die zwei Portionen Spaghetti belief sich die Rechnung auf 52 €. Zusätzliche 16 € für drei Calamari waren Wucher. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Meinung von diesem Restaurant, aber nach dieser Abzocke werden wir nicht wiederkommen. Sie gaben mir 10 € zurück, um mich zum Schweigen zu bringen, und das war's.

Ich esse bereits mein ganzes Leben in dieser Pizzeria, letztes und vorletztes Jahr, war irgendwas anders und enttäuschend. Heute habe ich es wieder versucht und bin echt positiv begeistert. Alles wieder so lecker wie immer! Einfach die beste Pizza! Bin froh, es nochmal versucht zu haben!

Ich habe über Wolt bestellt und wohne nur 10 Minuten vom Restaurant entfernt. Die Lasagne war nicht einmal warm und schmeckte ungenießbar. Nach einem Gabelbissen landete sie im Müll.

...was soll ich sagen. CalamarisTeller. 8 Calamaris, zwar nicht aus dem Gefrierer, mit Handvoll Salat 15€. Flasche Wasser 7,50€. Freundin hatte Pizza, recht dünn, aber gut. Ambesten Pizza dirt essen. Wir waren während Mittagszeit/während der Wo dort. Sehr viel los. Erst war der Service super und zuvorkommend, nachdem der Mitarbeiter aber selbst Pause machte,.....hatte sich keiner mehr gekümmert....leider. Gäste die noch vorhanden waren...zumindestens unten...wurden einfach vergessen. Chef...denke das es der Chef war....etwas motzig....Ambesten setzt man sich oben hin...wo man gesehen wird. Dann ist es wahrscheinlich besser.

Absolut mein Lieblingsitaliener in Deutschland! Das Essen ist immer köstlich und der Service – man fühlt sich wie zu Hause! Weiter so!

Das Lokal arbeitet mit Lieferando. Heute bestellte ich Essen dort. Das Essen kam nie nach Hause. Als ich angerufen habe, sagte man mir ganz frech ich soll mich wenn überhaup beim Lieferando beschweren und es wäre meine Schuld , weil ich nicht direkt beim Restaurant bestellt habe. Unglaublich!!. Mehr als 30 Euro weggeschmissen und Lieferando behauptet ich wäre nicht zu Hause gewesen, obwohl ich die ganze Zeit in der Wohnung saß und auf das Abendessen gewartet habe. Nie mehr bestelle ich bei diesem Restaurant und ich werde was Lieferando angeht ähnliches machen, wenn sie mir mein Geld nich zurückerstatten.

Über 1 Stunde gewartet und Durchfall vom Essen bekommen

Bestellte Pizza kam nie an. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir der Vorwurf gemacht, dass ich über Lieferando bestellt hatte. Das fragt man sich doch, warum die Pizzeria sich bei Lieferando auflisten lässt, wenn sie nicht wollen, dass man darüber bestellt? Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich die Pizza nicht bekommen habe. Mein Geld hat die Pizzeria aber gerne behalten. Nicht empfehlenswert. Nachtrag: Nach meiner Beschwerde wurde das Geld nun doch zurücküberwiesen.

Ist ein ordentliches italienisches Restaurant mit guten Pizzen, Lasagne und Pasta. Man wird gut satt. Parken eher schwierig. Toiletten sauber. Wartezeit auf das Essen mit bis zu 30min eher lang aber das ist halt auch Qualität.

Wir gehen hier immer wieder gerne Essen. Leckere Pizza und vielfältige Gerichte von der Tageskarte. Freundliches Personal, auch wenn es manchmal bei viel Betrieb etwas hektisch ist.

Ein sehr sympathischer Familienbetrieb. Sehr herzliche und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Super leckeres heisses Essen und hausgemachte Desserts 🥰. Wir waren auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht in Frankfurt, waren erst nach 22:00 Uhr da, keine Wartezeit. Schneller Service, super Beratung, grosse Auswahl. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in der Nähe sind.

Leider kein angenehmes Gesamterlebnis - Wir haben uns sehr auf unseren Besuch gefreut, mussten jedoch feststellen, dass unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt wurden. Nach dem Platznehmen wurden wir nochmals umgesetzt, was insbesondere mit Kindern unnötig umständlich ist. Insgesamt entstand bei uns leider nicht der Eindruck, dass Familien hier besonders willkommen sind. Eine entspannte, kinderfreundliche Atmosphäre haben wir vermisst. Der Service verlief wenig aufmerksam. Auf Getränke warteten wir vergleichsweise lange, ebenso darauf, überhaupt bedient zu werden. Mehrfach mussten wir selbst aktiv werden. Gerade nach dem Umsetzen hätten wir hier mehr Struktur und Präsenz erwartet. Das Trinkgeld war in der Karte als Servicebestandteil ausgewiesen. Unabhängig davon empfinden wir einen festen Aufschlag – insbesondere bei einer Serviceerfahrung dieser Art – als unglücklich gelöst. In Deutschland ist man es gewohnt, dass Trinkgeld eine freiwillige Anerkennung für besonders guten Service darstellt. Diese Flexibilität hat uns hier gefehlt. Insgesamt blieb der Eindruck, dass organisatorische Abläufe und der Umgang mit Gästen noch deutliches Verbesserungspotenzial haben. Für uns war es leider kein Besuch, den wir wiederholen möchten.

Pizza war gut Auswahl war relativ groß. Jedoch fand ich den Belag relativ dürftig als Beispiel hat eine Pizza mit Sardellen und extra noch mal Sardellen bestellt also so gesehen eine doppelte Portion jedoch kam mir dies ziemlich wenig vor besonders wenn man eine doppelte Portion bestellt. Zudem glaube ich hätten besser rote Zwiebeln gepasst aber das ist glaub ich Geschmackssache, haben vor Ort gegessen mit mehreren Personenplätze etwas eng und wenn man an der Tür im Winter positioniert ist, zieht es etwas. Getränke, im Menü gibt es in zwei verschiedenen Größen aber wenn man bestellt wird nur eine angeboten. Bedienung war nett freundlich hat immer ein Lachen im Gesicht und einen Witz parat. Somit super, für ältere Personen. Ist es etwas schwierig, da steile Treppen zu der Pizzeria führen und man tiefe Treppen runtergehen muss, wenn man ins Bad gehen muss.

👎 Ständig falsche Lieferung! Sogar bei den teuersten Gerichten. Ruft man an und beschwert sich, behauptet der Besitzer am Telefon, man habe bestellt, was geliefert wurde. Außerdem schreit der Inhaber seine Mitarbeiter an. Man hört es bis auf die Straße. Ein NoGo diese Pizzeria. Auch aus hygienischen Gründen…

Ich hatte Bauchschmerzen nach den Tortellini, welche die ganze Nacht gingen. Die Pizza dagegen ist sehr schmackhaft und bekömmlich gewesen.

Leider haben wir einen Tisch im vorderen Bereich bekommen wo es nicht so angenehm war, dazu kommt noch das Essensreste auf der Tischdecke waren.

Update 10.01.26: Dies war mein dritter Besuch, und leider wird es auch mein letzter sein. Das Essen ist nicht mehr so ​​gut wie früher. Wir bestellten drei Pastagerichte und eine Pizza. Die Pasta kam, aber nach etwa 15 Minuten Wartezeit war die Pizza immer noch nicht da. Als wir die Rechnung überprüften, war die Pizza immer noch aufgeführt. Uns wurde gesagt, man gehe davon aus, dass es sich um Essen zum Mitnehmen handele, obwohl dies nie besprochen wurde und uns weder eine Pizza zubereitet noch ausgehändigt wurde. Hätten wir nicht nachgefragt, hätten wir für Essen bezahlen müssen, das wir nicht erhalten haben. Aufgrund der gesunkenen Qualität des Essens und dieser Erfahrung werden wir nicht wiederkommen. Freundliches Personal, warme und einladende Atmosphäre. Dies ist das beste italienische Essen, das meine Frau und ich je gegessen haben. Die Preise und Portionen sind auch sehr angemessen. Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig entdeckt, aber das Essen ist so gut, dass wir gleich am nächsten Abend zum Abendessen wieder dort waren. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben ein Nudelgericht und zwei Pizzen bestellt, angekündigte Lieferzeit ca. 45 Minuten. Nach über einer Stunde ohne Lieferung riefen wir an. Dort wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Bestellzettel verloren gegangen sei. Man hat sich dafür entschuldigt. Allerdings ist dies leider nicht das erste Mal, dass wir hier eine negative Erfahrung machen mussten. Insgesamt wirkt die Organisation sehr chaotisch. Schade, denn so verliert man als Kunde das Vertrauen. Wir werden nie wieder dort essen, oder bestellen und auch jeden davon abraten!

Ein typischer Standard Italiener für jeden Tag ... leckeres Essen vor allem die Tageskarte ist eine Empfehlung wert. Auch die Pizzen sind klasse.

I find it outrageous that when you order a pizza for pickup and specifically call ahead to say you'll have to wait 30 minutes, the pizza is awful, poorly topped, and they even hand you cold pizzas when you pick them up – incredibly cheeky! The pizza was soggy and greasy, and the salad tasted dry and bland. I could have made that myself with two tomatoes and some lettuce; the homemade salad dressing tasted like pure water. I really can't recommend this place.

We always enjoy going there; the food is great, the prices are fair, and you get a touch of Italian flair for free.

I am spanish and I have lived in Italy. So, believe me when I say DO NOT go! If you are looking for a good pizza you have definitely better places downtown. Just not worthy!

The takeaway pasta was tasty and good. The salad was a bit underseasoned.

I placed my order at 4:09 PM and received it at 5:50 PM. The food was also completely cold and you could tell it had been sitting for a long time. On top of that, I ordered my pasta without ham, which had ham on it. The pasta didn't taste good at all because it had been sitting for far too long. I used to really like ordering from there, but now I'm having nothing but problems, so this is my last time.

We were in the store yesterday for a company party, and it was lovely. The staff greeted us warmly. Unfortunately, the food took a little longer to arrive. A little tip: maybe everyone eats at the same time, see how to time it better. For example, if four people are eating pizza and three are eating pasta, the pizza might arrive in six minutes and the pasta 10 minutes later, and you feel like you're just watching everyone else eat. Otherwise, it was delicious and, above all, clean.

Fantastic food. Tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms in a sage and saffron sauce. Pure indulgence. Mixed salad with feta cheese and house dressing (homemade!!) Where can you get that these days? The waiter's recommendation was excellent. Very friendly, attentive service. We'll definitely be back.

We were referred here on the recommendation of my mother's restaurant, which celebrated her 77th birthday today. So we made a reservation in advance and read the reviews. We were a bit skeptical, as they were very mixed. Everything from 1-5 was there. We received a friendly welcome and a warm welcome. Once we arrived at our seats, ordering was quick, and splitting the starter and main course was also quickly arranged. The staff, all in all, were very friendly and always attentive to our guests, despite the large number of other guests at neighboring tables. The food arrived quickly and was a truly delicious treat. The pizza dough was exceptionally fluffy but crispy – our kids often refuse to eat the crust – this time they ate it too. The soup (tomato cream and minestrone) and bruschetta were delicious. The pasta mista and a portion of spaghetti with Parmesan and olives looked small, but it was incredibly filling and offered a variety of options. For dessert, we had a soufflé – a perfect finish, along with the tiramisu garnished with a firework display as a birthday gesture for my mother. We thank you and will definitely be back very soon. The only thing could be a bit more charming is the ambiance. Even from the outside, it's hard to immediately recognize it as a restaurant, and it's somewhat hidden. But for us, it's definitely worth a culinary journey in the heart of Frankfurt.

Two weeks ago, on a Sunday, I ordered three pizzas, a lasagna, and a tortellini carbonara. The lasagna and the sauce were simply too fruity/sour; the flavor wasn't good, and I had to force it down. The cheese on the Tono pizza was too strong. The salami pizza was too salty; the other pizza and the tortellini carbonara were solid. Otherwise, the service was as usual, and the atmosphere was nice, too.

We have been here two wewks and have been here twice. Good solid Italian. Would love to have it in my neighborhood. (And try the oizza). The lasagna is very popular with some of our office staff hosts. We liked all 4 of the veal dishes we have tried. Still seems strange that entrees come with a potato and mixed vegetable bur that is the local preference. Ask for pasta instead of potato and order a plate of vegetables on the side ;c).

Friendly staff and a cozy, warm atmosphere. This is the best Italian food my wife and I have ever had. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We stumbled upon this place by accident, but the food was so good that we returned the next night. Definitely worth a try!

I don't understand all the positive reviews for this restaurant. EVERYONE should avoid this place! The staff was rude, the pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza from the supermarket, and the service was awful. My husband got his food first, while I was still waiting—it should be served at the same time. The overall quality leaves a lot to be desired.

A lousy restaurant – stay away! You're consistently ignored as soon as you sit down. After 20 minutes, we had to actively ask to be allowed to order. Then – nothing happens. We waited 40 minutes for a simple Caprese, and an incredible 1 hour and 20 minutes for pasta. In total, we sat for 1.5 hours – for two standard dishes. Ask questions? Better not. You're rudely shouted at, as if you were the problem. I've never encountered such disrespectful treatment – ​​absolute cheek! If you value being treated like a guest, you'd better try your luck elsewhere. About the food: After the endless wait, a plate of insignificant food arrived – supposedly fresh, but tasted completely bland. If this is supposed to be quality, then good night. Mediocrity with a guaranteed wait time. Conclusion: If you like waiting a long time, being yelled at, and ultimately disappointed, this is the place for you. Everyone else: Avoid!

I ordered food from Forno d'Oro and when it arrived the driver called for me to come pick it up from where he parked 50m away. I paid for delivery but he wouldn't come to the door because it was raining and he didn't want to get wet. I had to go to his car, we had a short argument and I told him this goes in the review. So then he decided he can get out of the car but very aggressively as if to punch me. He realized that was a bad idea only because I am twice his height, jumped back in the car and aggressively drove off. He drove the restaurant's car so was a restaurant employee (in case he's not the only delivery driver, it was a Middle Eastern man). With such services I no longer care about the food, don't feel like eating it anymore. I live in the neighborhood and I will tell the story again and again until I make sure every one of my neighbors and acquaintances know about this incident. 0 stars.

Absolute disaster! Never again! Ordered a pizza here and it was the biggest disappointment ever. The pizza was cold when it arrived - not even lukewarm, but really cold! The dough was tough and the cheese had already hardened. And the tuna? Just huge uncut pieces slapped on top – totally unappetizing! Who comes up with the idea of ​​selling a pizza like that? In terms of taste, the whole thing was a blank slate. I've eaten a lot of pizzas, but this was by far the worst. Never again!

By far the highlight of our trip to Frankfurt. We ate there twice, ordering different things ever time and EVERYTHING was just mind-blowing. We have to mention the truffle tagliatelle that come in a Parmesan bowl (!!!!!) I promise you the best €20 you will spend on food. One can really feel (and taste) the love and passion they have for food, Italy and community. The service was just as good as the food. I could go on with the compliments but better go and try for yourself.

Reserved for two people. We were looking forward to a cozy evening. But: Our first and last visit. When I said that we had a reservation (there were enough free tables), I was rudely approached by the older man in a negative and derogatory tone: "Reservation? For 2? Can't be!" The gaze was averted from us. We stood there as ordered and not picked up. No appreciation whatsoever for us as customers. I felt like I was being ridiculed as a customer. I remained objective and then showed my reservation confirmation. This has never happened to me in a restaurant. There was no excuse for this negative tone. Completely negative energies... A young, even-tempered waiter was able to appease this gentleman/(owner?) and offered us a seat in the back. That was nice. The pizzas were average in taste. Thanks, but no thanks.

Unfortunately, ordering by telephone is not possible as the restaurant does not answer the telephone. When ordering in person in a restaurant, even for the working population in the system-relevant profession, you can't find 10 minutes to finish a spaghetti bolognese. So far I have ordered at least once a week. It's a shame I won't do that anymore.

Incredibly bold and rude! We ordered online and everything we hadn't ordered arrived wrong. Then they don't even apologize on the phone and become loud and rude.

I can highly recommend the wood-fired pizza. Loving original Italian (😉🤌) service and very good value for money. It's been a long time since I've had a pizza where everything was just right.

Ordered food worth 135 euros at 4:10 p.m. No food arrived until 5:30 p.m., no notification. Calls only went to voicemail and no one could be reached For 130 euros I expect a little more Addendum: the driver came at 6 p.m.! 1:50h after the telephone order. I tried calling there 11 times. ELEVEN times. Nobody could be reached and had canceled the order on the mailbox

Our favorite Italians 🥰 come here especially from Dreieich, that says it all. The Tagliatelle Tartufo in a Parmesan basket are a dream ♥️

Top food, we don't need to talk to waiters about it, you are always treated so well. We are also happy to order for delivery, the food is always warm and super quick. Would recommend everyone to order food there directly by phone, you can call without third-party providers. Really cool Italian!

I like the store (staff, atmosphere, etc.) and find it a shame to change my originally very good rating BUT: almost 10 euros for a Margherita or 13 euros for a pizza with ham and mushrooms is not clear, especially when similar shops nearby charge much more normal prices for at least the same food (approx. 6.50 € for a Margherita, e.g. ) Today we paid over €41 for three pizzas (delivered), which I find to be absolutely disproportionate. Personally, I'm out and won't eat or order here again because of the price/performance ratio, although there's actually nothing wrong with the service and ambience. EDIT: Rating reduced from 4/5 to 2/5.

Great Italian restaurant with fast and friendly service. Also has excellent take-out service.

Absolutely recommended. The entire service team was super friendly. Very clean and cozy restaurant. Large menu as well as many daily recommendations and everything at fair prices. At the end there was a high-octane drink or espresso on the house. I recommend reserving a table, especially at the weekend.

We were at Forno D'Oro at lunchtime and really enjoyed it. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Particularly nice: Although we had reserved a table, we preferred to sit somewhere else, that wasn't a problem, it was made possible in a very friendly manner. The food was first class! We had the daily menu of truffle pasta and tortelloni with ricotta and lobster as well as two dishes from the regular menu. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted great and you can tell the quality. A big compliment to the team, who put a lot of passion into making sure that you feel comfortable as a guest. Clear recommendation, we'll be back!

Great Italians, were there spontaneously with lots of children. Nice service good food. Pizza from the wood oven was great. Neighboring table had pasta served in an edible parmesan baked plate. I'll take that next time.
