The service is perfect – always has been; for decades. The food is of high quality. The presentation (serving) of the dishes could be improved. Very good wine by the glass (I recommend Lugana). The ambiance: the lighting is magnificent. There's an outdoor terrace, set away from the main food court. Always an experience!👍

Our dinner was a real culinary experience. From the starter to the dessert, every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, tasted excellent and was attractively presented. But not only the food, the service was also first-class: the team was professional, attentive and clearly enjoyed their work. We felt welcome from the first contact and were courteously looked after throughout the evening. Drinks were always refilled without being intrusive, and special requests were easily fulfilled. The atmosphere of the restaurant also contributed to making our evening perfect. An all-round successful evening that convinced us on every level - we will definitely come back and can recommend Gentorelli's without reservation!

I spontaneously went to Gregorellis with a friend. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked, but the waiters were very friendly and offered us a place in the lounge. There we enjoyed a delicious cheese and sausage platter and accompanied it with an exquisite wine. 😊

I celebrated my birthday there. The staff and the restaurant manager are very respectful and lovely people and I definitely recommend trying this place. The food was very tasty and served quickly.

I just eat with my wife and was inside a rat in the restaurant!!! Imagine you eat and y see the rat -mouse.... disgusting. We order lasagna and meat was ok nothing special but this with Rat is more serious. Never again !!!!

Unfortunately I have to give a negative review. We visited the restaurant with a group and were looking forward to a lovely evening. But the service was absolutely subpar. The wrong food was brought to the table that we hadn't ordered but were supposed to pay for. In the end we decided not to pay a tip. But there was renewed criticism from the service staff. This is a no-go for me and should never happen under any circumstances.

Previously a lively place under the old operator, now under the new operator a soulless, empty place with very changing service quality and no longer the standard of before. The many free places speak for themselves and as already mentioned in the reviews, there is an entry with the public order office regarding a lack of hygiene in the guest rooms and kitchens. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not given

Very nice restaurant in downtown Frankfurt! The food was good, but unfortunately not more than that. My tagliatelle with truffles tasted great but unfortunately they were swimming in butter. What was really disappointing was the service, which was visibly overwhelmed in the crowded, crowded restaurant. The price doesn't bother me as long as the experience makes the stay good value for money. That was only the case here to a limited extent.

Centrally located on a side street off Fressgasse. Very nice atmosphere. Large menu with high prices. Our food was very good and the service was ok on this Friday evening. If you accept the prices and are prepared for variable friendliness, then this is a recommended Italian restaurant.

Soup was great, pizza is awesome. Tiramisu and panacea also good BUT 1. There were three of us. We were asking for dessert menu for 5 or 6 times. Waiter always said: one moment. 2. Finally we ordered and I have bound in my tiramisu a piece of sharp plastic. If you have small kids be careful!

To my shame, I only discovered this restaurant 3 years ago, and we have been going there regularly ever since and have always been satisfied. The food is very good, everything is fresh and carefully prepared, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I also recommended it to my friends and they were also very satisfied. I really don't understand the negative reviews, I've been here so many times and everything has always been fine. We like it and would love to come back again and again. We came on a Saturday and spontaneously got a table because the restaurant is relatively large. Despite the light rain, it was easy to sit outside because the terrace was covered. Location was super central and yet quiet (no traffic). We ordered fish and pasta as starters. You could order a small portion of pasta in advance for half the price (I asked in advance), which I think is great. Pasta was very well seasoned with fresh tomatoes. The fish (loup de mer as a whole) was very fresh, with excellent vegetable accompaniments (not overcooked). My husband had the seafood salad and loved it. Very fresh and deliciously prepared with fennel. We also really liked the fact that you can get excellent wines open by the glass. Our favorite wine from our last holiday on Lake Garda, Lugana Santa Cristina, was served by the glass as well as many other great wines from South Tyrol. In other restaurants, these wines are usually only available by the bottle. The restaurant has its price, but everything from service to food was excellent there! Thank you 🙏 UPDATE from November 30th: Even under the new name (Gentorellis instead of Gregorellis), the quality remains consistently high, the staff is fortunately the same and I don't think there's a big change in price either. There is so much pasta that you can eat a maximum of 1/2 portion as a starter (and then be almost full). 😇

The official food control authorities found, among other things, a significant mouse infestation in the pizza kitchen area, with mouse droppings and urine in the immediate vicinity of and on food as well as skeletal rodents below the pizza oven. Cockroaches were also found in several packages of pasta, among other things. Just unspeakably disgusting!

A beautiful cozy restaurant, a friendly waiter, we decided to eat there again but like the first time the food wasn't tasty, it's a shame we won't come back.

Already very busy at 6 p.m., correspondingly high noise level. The seafood salad as a starter was plentiful, but too expensive at 24 euros. The pasta dishes were plentiful and freshly made, well seasoned. The staff could be a little more empathetic, there is no sense of Italian hospitality, perhaps the store is just too big.

Very busy restaurant locate off the main road, make sure you book in advance especially for larger parties. We have to wait for cicra 20 minutes before get the drinks order as our waiter was busy with a much larger party. Once we got the drinks, we wait for another 15 mins before waiter come get our order. The food came reasonably quick and were delicious. Price is acceptable for the quality of the food we got Ambience is good.

Actually a nice and old-established Italian restaurant in the middle of the city center. However, the prices are completely over the top. The quality is okay - the service is also okay (very hectic at lunchtime because of the busyness) but if you can't eat on an expense basis, you won't have as much fun here.

The place is nice but the food is absolutely not worth the price in my opinion (I ordered pasta). The service was okay but sometimes a little surprising (for example, the waiter took salt, pepper and parmesan cheese away from us a long time before we were done with our meals without asking us if we were done? - nothing serious just surprising). However, the restaurant is open until late which is a good point for Germany.

A very nice Italian restaurant and large. A classy Italian restaurant is expensive but if you go there it doesn't matter. The portions are small for the price and you won't really get full. Between the starter and the main course we waited a long time until the plates were taken away. You were quicker to clear away the other guests. The taste of the food was good.

Started well and unfortunately faded quickly. We were warmly greeted by the staff and escorted to the square. We were positively surprised. It took some time to order and drinks also took a long time. If the store had been full, I would have understood that, but the occupancy was in the middle range. The food took over an hour and when asked they just said “coming soon”. If you want to save yourself almost 10€, you should politely say no when asked when assigning a table whether you want water :-) Antipasti costs €38 for two people. Service in general is very improvable, no spoons with the pasta are not appropriate for an Italian. If you want to have a nice, good Italian meal, you should avoid the shop. Lg

Delicious food in the middle of the city of Frankfurt. Restaurant quite hidden in a narrow alley. Service was okay but slightly overwhelmed. The restaurant was pretty busy that evening. Still, as an overall package, everything is good.

Igor was immediately extremely positive. I had a special request, I couldn't fully express everything, he knew immediately what I meant and made sure that my food was served perfectly without any further prompting. I haven't experienced service like this in a long time! Thank you, Igor, I'll be back with my team! You really did a great job! And the kitchen: fantastic too! The starter platter, about 1 m wide, amazing, the main course so perfectly prepared and served perfectly at the right time, it's really hard to beat. See you soon!

Definitely visit....top selection, top quality

What I experienced here yesterday really couldn't be surpassed in terms of audacity... At first I wanted to order a 0.75l bottle of water, as the standard soft drinks only offer a measly 0.2l. The waiter looked at me askance twice and asked if I was really sure. YES, I am sure what I want to order. The drinks then came - for my friends, mine didn't come. After 10 more minutes, in which our waiter disappeared to smoke, I asked another waiter about the drink I had ordered. He simply reached into a refrigerator behind us and took it out. So it probably wasn't a feat of strength. When we ordered food, I wanted different pasta to go with my Genovese. The waiter then rolled his eyes in annoyance and said “for once today”. I ordered with linguine (which was available in other dishes on the menu). I got tagliatelle. However, the portion for my friend's vegetarian lasagna was a joke. My Genovese and my other friend's truffle pasta were appropriate in size. Food also tasted good, you can't say anything against that. When we were finished, I wanted to have my leftovers packed up because I hadn't finished everything. After 15 minutes no one came and we asked again where my packed portion was and whether we could pay as agreed. My food then arrived, we paid and left. Today, however, I thought I had fallen from faith. What awaited me was not my linguine Genovese, but rather a meal that was definitely not mine - namely the pasta I had ordered. All in all: I will never go there again!

The food is actually very good. However, the portions have been getting smaller for some time and the service could also be more organized. Sometimes long waiting times and very unpleasant if you always have to look for a waiter. As a customer, you should actually be asked regularly if you would like anything else...

Food : some dishes good , some meh . One of the dishes had a piece of metal. Waiters: some are good and kind , but the youngster with the glasses needs to learn a bit more. Would I come back ? Def not !

We were at Gregorellis today with the team, I was already there and my colleagues were there for the first time. Apart from the stylish ambience, we were served by Igor, who anticipated our every wish and was always attentive in every respect. Of course, the food was sensational again, we also had tuna tartare - this was not mentioned in the selection to tick. Exquisite. Majestic selection of flavours. Fantastic decoration and a wonderful offer of wines. The staff attended us both on German, English and Spanish. The service was brilliant and the food was really fantastic. Ristorante Gregorellis is a place to come back.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at Gregorellis today! Pasta tartufo extremely dry and tasteless. Never had such bad pasta that cost €28. The service completely messed up... our bread basket was forgotten and a dish was served 15 minutes later. Blanket only brought after being asked twice. In the end I only ate half and paid the hefty full price. Don't feel like coming back 😕
