You feel like you're in Italy! It's really nice to sit outside, the atmosphere is fantastic... the bruschetta pizza bread was delicious, and the lobster even more so. Excellent service, and then the gratinated zabaglione... A wonderful evening, thank you!

A true gem in Frankfurt! We had arranged to have lobster dinner. The lobster was sensationally fresh and perfectly prepared, accompanied by a Sauvignon Blanc (St. Valentine's Day), a feast of the highest quality. The ambiance is also dreamy: stylish and cozy inside, beautiful outside, and ideal for a special evening. You immediately feel at home. The service is professional, attentive, and warm. The chef, in particular, creates an atmosphere with his generosity and hospitality that makes the visit unforgettable. At Gentorellis, everything is just perfect: the cuisine, service, and ambiance. A place you absolutely must experience!

We had to hunt a server down a couple times but that's just Europe. The carbonara and the fennel salad were delicious--although the fennel salad was missing the oranges and pistachios.

The Italian restaurant impressed me from the first minute – a luxurious interior, but without excess, the atmosphere is light, warm and at the same time very stylish. The staff are true professionals: attentive, polite, they know how to catch the mood of the guest, recommend dishes with soul, create the feeling that you are the only visitor. The cuisine is impeccable! The taste is so refined that you want to close your eyes and enjoy every bite. The presentation of dishes is an art, the highest quality products, everything is fresh, harmonious, Italian to the core. Here, every little thing is thought out to give pleasure. This is the case when you don’t just have dinner, but experience a small holiday of the soul.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this wonderful Italian restaurant as part of a conference evening event – ​​and what can I say: It was an absolutely perfect evening from the very first moment. Upon entering, the lovingly decorated hall immediately caught my eye – stylishly set tables, drinks provided, and an atmospheric ambiance immediately made me look forward to the evening. The service was attentive, yet very warm from the very beginning – you immediately felt welcome and well looked after. The selection of drinks was equally excellent: In addition to select wines, there was also a homemade lemonade that was both visually appealing and tasty. To start off, an antipasti platter was served that was second to none: everything seemed homemade, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. The tomatoes and vitello, in particular, were in a class of their own. For the main course, we could choose between various dishes. The penne arrabiata was perfectly al dente, spicy, with a subtle heat and intense tomato flavor – just what you'd expect from an authentic Italian dish. The meat dishes – rump steak and scaloppina – also impressed with their quality and preparation. The absolute highlight came at the end: a gigantic dessert platter that was almost a work of art. Tiramisu, lava cake, lemon and orange parfait – served in the filled shells of the respective fruits! An absolute highlight both in terms of taste and appearance, and the crowning conclusion to a thoroughly successful evening. In conclusion: This restaurant impresses with authentic Italian cuisine, excellent service, and attention to detail. Ideal for special occasions – I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

The main courses were excellent. The oil and vinegar was very cheap. Very watered down and not "sticky" as it should be. Service, is the issue. People who arrived after we ordered got their food before we did.

Pure horror! If you don't value good service and just want a nice drink, you'll be well served here! The pizza tasted like cardboard with tomato paste and even if the high-quality salami should have improved it, it was definitely not worth the €20! The ratattouille-like pasta was swimming in oil and was extremely dripping, a real outrage! On top of that, for the hefty price of €20 you only got 5 medium-sized pasta that were neither light nor filling. The ambience was nice, but one server was so rude that it took everything away. The bread we got was dry around the edges and not particularly tasty even with oil; it was cold and practically made your mouth feel like a desert. Invest your money in another upscale Italian restaurant in this area and don't get ripped off! Once and never again, except for drinks!

Decent Italian food at a centrally located in Frankfurt, but nothing very special about the food itself. The atmosphere is nice although when it gets busy the staff get overwhelmed and service becomes slow.

Two of us ate here yesterday. We had an antipasti variation as a starter and two pasta dishes as our main course. It was very good, nothing was missing. My partner would have preferred the truffle pasta a bit creamier, but they still thought it was great. The price-performance ratio was excellent, in my opinion.

Chic atmosphere. For the food it depends on what you get. The truffle pasta is very nice but the tomatoes burrata wasn’t that nice (few cherry tomatoes with a burrata in the center).

I made a reservation online, but unfortunately I was turned away at reception because apparently no one had time for me. So I looked for a seat outside myself - but I was completely ignored there too. The waiters were milling around, but no one showed any interest in serving me. Very disappointing! After more than 35 minutes of waiting and puzzling with my table neighbor why the waiters prefer to re-set other tables without guests and no one comes, I left. Anyone who values ​​hospitality is definitely out of place here. Unfortunately not recommended.

It's a wonderful, ultra-peaceful place. It's definitely a must-visit place with lamb and lamb liver with sauce, then the world's most delicious tiramisu dessert. It's perfect with everything.

Excellent we evening again and again.

Our dinner was a real culinary experience. From the starter to the dessert, every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, tasted excellent and was attractively presented. But not only the food, the service was also first-class: the team was professional, attentive and clearly enjoyed their work. We felt welcome from the first contact and were courteously looked after throughout the evening. Drinks were always refilled without being intrusive, and special requests were easily fulfilled. The atmosphere of the restaurant also contributed to making our evening perfect. An all-round successful evening that convinced us on every level - we will definitely come back and can recommend Gentorelli's without reservation!

I spontaneously went to Gregorellis with a friend. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked, but the waiters were very friendly and offered us a place in the lounge. There we enjoyed a delicious cheese and sausage platter and accompanied it with an exquisite wine. 😊

I just eat with my wife and was inside a rat in the restaurant!!! Imagine you eat and y see the rat -mouse.... disgusting. We order lasagna and meat was ok nothing special but this with Rat is more serious. Never again !!!!

It’s not worth the price you pay for the food, taste was not good either. Service is even worse, not well mannered. Atmosphere is also not up to the mark.

Unfortunately I have to give a negative review. We visited the restaurant with a group and were looking forward to a lovely evening. But the service was absolutely subpar. The wrong food was brought to the table that we hadn't ordered but were supposed to pay for. In the end we decided not to pay a tip. But there was renewed criticism from the service staff. This is a no-go for me and should never happen under any circumstances.

Very nice restaurant in downtown Frankfurt! The food was good, but unfortunately not more than that. My tagliatelle with truffles tasted great but unfortunately they were swimming in butter. What was really disappointing was the service, which was visibly overwhelmed in the crowded, crowded restaurant. The price doesn't bother me as long as the experience makes the stay good value for money. That was only the case here to a limited extent.

Centrally located on a side street off Fressgasse. Very nice atmosphere. Large menu with high prices. Our food was very good and the service was ok on this Friday evening. If you accept the prices and are prepared for variable friendliness, then this is a recommended Italian restaurant.

Soup was great, pizza is awesome. Tiramisu and panacea also good BUT 1. There were three of us. We were asking for dessert menu for 5 or 6 times. Waiter always said: one moment. 2. Finally we ordered and I have bound in my tiramisu a piece of sharp plastic. If you have small kids be careful!

We came on a Saturday and spontaneously got a table because the restaurant is relatively large. Despite the light rain, it was easy to sit outside because the terrace was covered. Location was super central and yet quiet (no traffic). We ordered fish and pasta as starters. You could order a small portion of pasta in advance for half the price (I asked in advance), which I think is great. Pasta was very well seasoned with fresh tomatoes. The fish (loup de mer as a whole) was very fresh, with excellent vegetable accompaniments (not overcooked). My husband had the seafood salad and loved it. Very fresh and deliciously prepared with fennel. We also really liked the fact that you can get excellent wines open by the glass. Our favorite wine from our last holiday on Lake Garda, Lugana Santa Cristina, was served by the glass as well as many other great wines from South Tyrol. In other restaurants, these wines are usually only available by the bottle. The restaurant has its price, but everything from service to food was excellent there! Thank you 🙏 UPDATE from November 30th: Even under the new name (Gentorellis instead of Gregorellis), the quality remains consistently high, the staff is fortunately the same and I don't think there's a big change in price either. There is so much pasta that you can eat a maximum of 1/2 portion as a starter (and then be almost full). 😇

The official food control authorities found, among other things, a significant mouse infestation in the pizza kitchen area, with mouse droppings and urine in the immediate vicinity of and on food as well as skeletal rodents below the pizza oven. Cockroaches were also found in several packages of pasta, among other things. Just unspeakably disgusting!

Already very busy at 6 p.m., correspondingly high noise level. The seafood salad as a starter was plentiful, but too expensive at 24 euros. The pasta dishes were plentiful and freshly made, well seasoned. The staff could be a little more empathetic, there is no sense of Italian hospitality, perhaps the store is just too big.

Very busy restaurant locate off the main road, make sure you book in advance especially for larger parties. We have to wait for cicra 20 minutes before get the drinks order as our waiter was busy with a much larger party. Once we got the drinks, we wait for another 15 mins before waiter come get our order. The food came reasonably quick and were delicious. Price is acceptable for the quality of the food we got Ambience is good.
