Super friendly and attentive service, and the atmosphere is very cozy. The food is absolutely delicious and unique. I will definitely come back and recommend it to others. If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars.

This tapas bar is a real gem! The selection of international tapas is exceptionally diverse, and every dish tastes like it came straight from its country of origin. The food was amazing! Everything was incredibly delicious, the service was simply perfect, it couldn't have been better. The staff were super friendly and approachable, and they had something to say about everything – they really know how to sell. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the food. The only downside was the ambiance, which felt a bit empty ( :( ) and was a little chilly; the windows didn't seem to be completely sealed. That's probably the landlord's fault, but it didn't make it perfect. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone for any occasion! And I'm already looking forward to my next visit :)

Three friends and I went to Trapas last week to celebrate my birthday – and what can I say: it was simply perfect, thank you so much! We tried our way through the menu – the absolute highlight for me was the octopus: so tender, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned that I would have loved to order it twice. The rest of the tapas were also incredibly delicious and perfect for sharing – we felt like we were on vacation the whole time. Added to that were great drinks, a fantastic atmosphere, and a team that served us warmly and attentively without ever seeming intrusive. You could really tell that the cooking and work here is done with love. It was an all-around successful evening, one I won't soon forget. Trapas has become one of my absolute favorite places in Cologne – thank you for this wonderful birthday memory, and see you soon! :)

And yet, everything here was served with a little more dedication, a little more flair, and a little more attention to detail. We opted for the CHEF'S CHOICE option several times - definitely do it!!! 🍽️ All you can eat. The chef puts together what you like and can tolerate. Even though I was already full, I was given an extra small and lovingly prepared portion of watermelon salad without any problem. No matter what we ate, it was DELICIOUS! Lamb, gurnard, cassava fries, watermelon salad... try it all. Honestly, we've rarely experienced such friendly service. We laughed, we were pampered but not annoyed, and we spent an unexpectedly wonderful evening in a film set. The terrace is like something out of an Italian romance.

As a vegetarian, it's unfortunately only partially worth it, but the meat dishes (even octopus) were absolutely delicious. 😉 For the "Chef's Choice," you should plan on spending two hours.

We spent our anniversary as a couple at Trapas this week and had a wonderful time :) In addition to the super delicious food (and great wine), we also had a wonderful waitress, Toni, who always served us with a smile and a warm demeanor. When we arrived, my husband and I specifically requested a table with a nice view and were seated at a nice table for four. After we had already ordered drinks, the waitress suddenly asked us to move to a cramped table for two in the corner – explaining that a group of four was coming (who weren't even there at the time). Very disappointing. We left – that's not how you should treat guests.

Wow! That was definitely an amazing fusion cuisine experience! We were there with a large group and had the "all you can eat" tapas concept. Surprisingly, we were served a variety of tapas until the table was completely full and we were completely stuffed 😁 Without exception, everything was extremely well-seasoned, flavorful, and simply delicious. Plus, the seating is very pleasant – inside and out. Highly recommended, even for larger groups!

Came here on a Sunday morning with a very large group of friends unanounced, but this was totally fine for the staff! They served us perfectly and were very kind. Both the food and drinks were good!

Precioso lugar casual con excelente comida, bien preparada. Un menú ecléctico con muchas opciones para vegetarianos y cárnicos - comedores por igual. Tapas pequeñas - platos de estilo para compartir. Teníamos una deliciosa coliflor, pollo, una ensalada de fideos y costillas. Todo muy bien.

A monumental failure The service was completely overwhelmed, we waited forever, orders were systematically forgotten, and at some point we had to go to the counter to order. Conversation at the table was hardly possible because we were constantly looking for a waitress. We waited forever for the food, only when we asked if we could cancel and pay did it arrive all at once. Unfortunately the food was also very mediocre, the salmon was dry, the pulp was mushy and everything was covered in chili powder. The food that was advertised as spicy on the menu was the mildest. Never again!

One of my favorite flavors in Cologne, especially in summer. The staff is very courteous and attentive, the food is a real pleasure. Top price-performance :)

Sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Sehr schmackhafte, raffinierte Küche. Man kann, wie bei Tapas, mehrere Gerichte auswählen. Die Portionen sind größer als bei Tapas. Sie werden zusammen an den Tisch gebracht, nicht hintereinander. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war ok. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, daher ein Punkt Abzug, ist der Geräuschpegel im Restaurant. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt und es war kaum möglich, entspannt eine Unterhaltung zu führen. Man sollte an den hohen Betondecken eine Geräuschdämmung anbringen. Sonst war alles prima.

Das Essen macht satt, das war es auch schon. Der Name weckt Assoziationen, die leider nicht im Entferntesten erfüllt werden. Die Karte ist sehr überschaubar, was für ein Tapas-Restaurant schon widersinnig ist. Zu den sehr wenigen Gerichten - Vor- und Hauptgerichte passen auf eine kleine Seite - gibt es aber eine volle Seite mit Dips (die auch nichts Besonderes sind). Und man fragt sich, wozu soll man die eigentlich bestellen - nur den Pommes. Serviert auf ultrakleinen Tellerchen - daher stimmt Preis-Leistung nun gar nicht mehr, abgesehen davon, dass es unpraktisch ist. Bei der Bestellung will die Bedienung gern ein Trio verkaufen, angesichts der wenigen besetzten Tische verständlich. Gemütlich sitzen passt auch nicht, gegen 22 Uhr sind wir geflohen, weil es einfach viel zu kalt war. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

The customer service was really excellent - kind, professional and helpful! The tapas were perfectly prepared and a real treat. Unfortunately there were two annoying points: Smoking right outside the door meant that the smoke drifted into the restaurant, which was unpleasant. It was also a bit too cold inside, which made the evening a bit cloudy. Still, the food was great, and the service definitely enhanced the experience.

One of the best restaurants Cologne has to offer! The service is great, the food is just as good! The furnishings are stylish with dark woods and black accents without appearing gloomy. You should also definitely try out the seasonal offers! Great recommendation!

Ive been with my girlfriend like ten times and is great place, quality all the time even when they are full. We always order: ceviche, lamb, the ribs and the feta salad. Just amazing all the time.

The vegetarian tapas were delicious, although all tapas and drinks were quite expensive. The portions are a little larger than regular tapas, but the value for money wasn't right for many dishes. But the ambience is quite nice.

All in all, I don't want to come back for now. I was there yesterday evening and the restaurant was very busy given the weather, which was to be expected. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, which isn't long. But then it took almost 2 hours until we received the main courses; we waited 1 hour for bread and aioli. The Lugana white wine is highly recommended. The food didn't convince me. The crediting of the EM Special was more than loveless and for that reason alone it didn't work. The staff was very friendly and nice, there could have been a few more colleagues, then the waiting times would have been shorter

We felt completely comfortable yesterday...Thank you very much! Despite the rain, we sat comfortably and dry on the covered terrace. A candle would be nice for the rounded romance ;) We will be back definitely!

We stopped there spontaneously. The shop is nice and you can sit comfortably. The service was very nice and quick. The food was tasty, although everything was quite spicy. The prices didn't match the portion sizes for me. Even though it was tasty and good quality.

Went for a drink with friends one evening, the ambience is nice, minimalist but comfortable, the room temperature was also very pleasant (not too cold / not too warm). The service was okay, as a young lady (with conspicuously colored hair) seated us in a somewhat unfriendly manner, but her colleague (dark hair tied back, glasses) came to serve us and saved the mood, as she was very nice, funny and attentive took care of us!

Conclusion in advance: in the price range of €40-50 per person for an evening, there are significantly better alternatives in Cologne Food: The concept initially sounds promising - one-stop shop for a culinary experience/trip around the globe. In implementation, it turns out to be a disappointing bumpy ride. In terms of taste, for example, the tacos (seasonal dish) and the bulgogi were more than disappointing. It lacked sophistication and penetration. The ceviche was well prepared. Very tasty and fresh. However, the portion size of the ceviche was homeopathic at best. However, the same picture continues with the other dishes. Quite soberly: it was good, but not good enough to charge the price of a main course for two mini appetizers. In all respects you had to add a lot of seasoning. The most popular decorative things on the table were salt and pepper. Taken together with the portion sizes and the price quoted, the food was unfortunately significantly below average. Hence the 2/5 Beverages: We found the selection to be extensive and also modern. The Port Tonic (red) I ordered was delicious and interpreted differently. Instead of the summery flavor profile with a fruity note, the rosemary gave it a more floral touch. Unexpected but still very good! 4/5 Service: Unfortunately the service was a complete disaster. Unfortunately, I can't judge from a distance whether the team is new or inexperienced overall. However, fundamental mistakes were made. The empty and unused wine glasses were left on the table even after fresh drinks were brought. Glasses and ultimately dishes were only cleared away when asked. Our attempts to order additional dishes were met with reluctance. A smile? None seen all evening. We weren't even offered dessert, despite us asking for it. The staff seemed to be deliberately ignoring us. No attention was paid to us even though we tried to make eye contact and waved several times. I would have been better served if I had been given an iPad. Scoring: Max 1/5 The atmosphere: A super nice shop. The interior is really attractive and comfortably furnished. In itself 5/5, but the incredibly poor service really affected the perception of the atmosphere. Hence 4/5 Finally: A very disappointing evening indeed. We won't be coming back. Great alternatives with a tapas concept can be found in Bisù or Bagatelle, among others. Although it doesn't claim to be very international, it does have a lot of taste and good service.

Nice shop, friendly team. However, when all the tables are occupied it is relatively loud. The concept with delicacies from all over the world is a success. Starters, main courses and wines were all very well done and tasty. The dessert can't compete and was relatively inconsequential. Unfortunately there was little to be seen of the service even after the main course. Unfortunately, the question about a dessert request and other drinks was not answered.

Very nice restaurant with a delicious selection of different dishes. You can combine the “Trapas” yourself and have the choice of many vegetarian dishes or fish and meat. Gluten-free dishes are labeled accordingly and gluten-free bread is also available upon request. The service is very nice, although sometimes a bit awkward or slow. The prices are definitely above average and in my opinion a bit too high for some portion sizes/products. Overall, you can spend a nice evening here in a nice atmosphere, but it is usually limited to 2 hour slots.

Leckeres Essen in schönem Ambiente. Mitarbeiterinnen waren freundlich, haben die Speisen erklärt. Die Karte ist zwar nicht riesig, aber sicher für jeden was dabei. Die Weine haben mir richtig gut geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall.

Lange nicht mehr so hervorragend gegessen! Köstliche Gerichte, tolle Kombinationen, herrliche Zubereitung, feine Zutaten und wunderschöne Präsentation! Außerdem eine mega freundliche Bedienung, die alles bereitwillig und freudig erklärt hat! Wir hatten einen tollen und absolut gelungenen Aufenthalt dort. Leider ist dieses Restaurant nicht in unserer Heimat, denn sonst wären wir dort sicher Stammgäste! Unbedingt weiter so! :))

Wir haben einen Mödelsabend im Trapas verbracht. Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität und ist lecker, Tapas-Portionen. 3-4 verschiedene Gerichte sollte man bestellen, wenn man einen guten Appetit hat . Gute Aperitifauswahl und leckere offene Weine. Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, so einen guten Service länger nicht mehr gehabt. Drinnen schönes Ambiente und es gibt draußen 2 Terassen für die wärmeren Tage. Top Restaurant, ich komm wieder.

Wir waren schon mehrmals dort essen und waren jedes Mal sehr sehr zufrieden. Specials of the day werden einem schmackhaft vorgestellt, die Zutaten sind frisch und qualitativ hochwertig ausgewählt, die Dips ein Traum, die Oliven mit einer extrem leckeren Marinade verfeinert, das Bulgogi (24 Std. mariniertes Rindfleisch) sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne immer wieder.
