Toyoki Sushi & Grill in Herne

None of the workers could speak English, so communication did not go well. Especially since they didn't even come to us, we always had to wave the waiter down to at least get soy sauce for the sushi. To this day, we have not received the ice cream we asked for, but at least they wanted to make us pay for it.

Famous concept of sushi shops. Versatile selection for dinner 👍🏻. Quality of the food was excellent. The beef was particularly tender; Mmm delicious… Personally, some of the dishes were a bit over-spiced/over-salted for me, but my wife thought it was just right. Went there again on a Wednesday evening without making a reservation. The restaurant was busy, but we got a table quickly and were served promptly. The selection is large and vegetarians will also get their money's worth here, as the selection here is also unusually diverse. Overall, a nice evening. See you soon

!!!!! CAUTION !!!!! Three of us have just ordered the lunch menu for €15.90 each and it was explained to us in not really good German what was included. Drinks have to be paid for separately, but are very expensive. So we would have paid 3x €15.90 (€47.70) plus drinks (max. €25). A bill then came for €105. They then tried to explain to us that we supposedly had NOT ordered the lunch menu, which we definitely had. Attempts were made to talk their way out of it, and an invoice was not handed over. If they had been honest, the bill should have been corrected, but it wasn't. Therefore only 1 star, although the food was actually very tasty and the employees (except for the waitress with the red hair) were very nice, but unfortunately not accommodating. Conclusion: Never again, be careful when ordering so you don't get ripped off!!!

Today we ate at Toyoki with a large group for the first time. We were welcomed very nicely. The children were treated great by the staff. And we also felt comfortable. The food arrived quickly and warm. Everything was very tasty! From sushi to dessert 👌🏼 Price performance is really top 👍🏼 a great shop that we can only recommend. We'll definitely be back 🤩

We drove there spontaneously and were immediately warmly welcomed in the restaurant. The service was super accommodating from the start. Ordering went smoothly with a short introduction to the system (all you can eat). The food was super tasty and varied. There was a large selection of different food and drinks. The employees are motivated and very customer-oriented. We definitely recommend Toyoki Sushi & Grill and will definitely not be there for the last time. It is definitely worth a visit because the price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

We went there for the first time yesterday for the all-you-can-eat. The order is placed via a tablet and the food is brought to the table. Here you can order 10 rounds of 5 dishes per person. One thing in advance: We managed 3 laps before we were fed up. It should also go without saying that you don't go on an ordering spree here with half left over, the food is simply too tasty. The employees were all very nice and the ordering process was explained to us very well, always with a funny saying, which our daughter was also happy about. It's definitely not the last time we've been there and we're already looking forward to our next visit. We parked in the “Q-Park Am Kino” car park if you find it on the other side on Kirchhofstr. leaves, it's a 1-2 minute walk to the restaurant.

We went to the restaurant for the first time today (my husband, my daughter and I). So far we have only ever used the delivery service. We received a very friendly welcome and were told how to order using the tablet, as we had opted for the all you can eat offer. Everything worked perfectly, the food was great and all the employees were very nice and attentive. You can order 5 dishes every 10 minutes, you could do this 10 times in total, but we were so full after the third round that we had to stop. We will definitely do this again!

This evening I had dinner there with my family for the first and last time. The young man who initially introduced himself as the manager of the store is, in my opinion, absolutely out of place!!! We decided on the open evening buffet. *ALL YOU CAN EAT* After the gentleman explained the concept to us, we started ordering via tablet. You can click on 15 things on the tray every 10 minutes and they will be brought to the table. According to the tablet, you have a maximum of 15 rounds available and a maximum of 2.5 or 3 hours of time. When we finished eating in 10 rounds, we ordered dessert by tray. There was still some food left on the table. The manager said; that we would have the opportunity to take the food home with us for half the price. But I refused. After the 1st ROUND of dessert (everything was eaten) I wanted to order another round of dessert. But unfortunately the "Order" button has been blocked. (All other buttons worked) Although this would only have been the 12th of a maximum of 15 rounds. According to the tablet I would have had over 60 minutes. When I told the gentleman that the "order" button wasn't working, he asked me in a not nice TONE what else I would like to order. And he then told me that he HAD TO CALCUATE me for the uneaten things on the table. After I said I didn't see it, he yelled in a non-German language. He also said he knew what to do with me... After that, of course, I lost my appetite for dessert. We just paid the bill and left. I have NEVER experienced anything like this! A pity. Never again TOYOKI

Very good quick service, it was our first time there and we will definitely come back. Service was super nice and the food was simply delicious. All you can eat food was warm and even though we were there on a Saturday evening, everything arrived at the table within a few minutes and was hot. We can only recommend it! Realistic asking prices and there is a large parking lot nearby, which is also listed on their website.

Toyoki Sushi & Grill in Herne completely blew me away! From the first moments I entered the restaurant I felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sushi is simply fantastic – every piece is a little taste explosion. The salmon roe and teriyaki sushi as well as the Takami roll in particular are a must for every sushi fan. You can immediately taste the freshness and high quality of the ingredients. The portion sizes are just right, so you feel completely satisfied after eating. The service is also outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the innovative ordering option via tablet makes the whole thing even more pleasant. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered and the entire experience. Anyone who lives in Herne or is visiting the city should definitely not miss Toyoki Sushi & Grill. Every meal here becomes a special experience that you won't quickly forget. Absolutely recommended and a real highlight for all lovers of Japanese cuisine!

I ordered there for the first time today, everything that was hot food arrived warm. Nothing was missing and delivery was relatively quick. The food was delicious, there was also a variety of things like wakame or water spinach. However, I didn't like the peanut sauce. Would definitely order there again.

Toyoki has recently been in new hands and I can only recommend that everyone give the store a try. The price is slightly higher than other all you can eat Asian restaurants, but the tablet concept makes it much more comfortable. The food was good under the old owner, but now it's really, really tasty. I can especially recommend the king prawns and the coconut pudding with chocolate sauce! The staff is also very nice :)

The sushi restaurant my husband and I went to is hands down the best we have ever visited. At first we were worried when we saw it from the outside, but don't be fooled! The service is warm, the atmosphere is great and we were made to laugh. The sushi was served very quickly despite only one person in the kitchen! If you fancy sushi, you should definitely go there. You can feel that they want to make their customers happy. Trust me, I've been to many restaurants in Recklinghausen, Herne, Bochum, Bottrop, Oberhausen and other cities, but this is the best. The sushi was delicious, large and fresh, not mini like some other restaurants. We even got tea on the house! And the toilet was absolutely clean and smelled good. Just wow! You are now our favorite sushi restaurant. I'm so happy we went there spontaneously. We love you! ❤️

A really great restaurant that I visit quite regularly. All you can EAT until the delicatessen vault gives up. Freshly prepared, always delicious and a really friendly staff always makes you want to eat at Toyoki again and again. Addendum 3/20/24 For a long time I was pleasantly surprised that Toyoki's prices remained stable, but today the hammer came. The price of 25.90 buffet remained, but instead of 5 rounds (which was hardly possible anyway) you can only order 2 rounds. In my opinion, this doesn't have much in common with "All you can eat". That's an increase of 60% If you had preferred to take 28 euros and leave the 5 rounds, it would probably have been better. Very few people manage 5 rounds. Anyone who only manages 3 would have been unlucky, but they should have left the option. I hope for Toyoki, the excellent food and the super friendly staff that things work out in the end. Unfortunately for me I have to say that's pretty much it, although I've almost counted myself as a living inventory so far. It's a shame, it's a real shame. 😪😪😪

We (my husband, my daughter [7M] and I) had dinner there for the first time on Tuesday last week. I have to say I was overwhelmed by the hospitality. My little daughter was enjoyed by everyone and received a lot of positive attention. Of course, they were also super friendly to us, explained everything and made sure every now and then whether it was ok. Furthermore, the food was super delicious! My husband, works as a chef, and was very happy with the sushi 🍣.

I've been there several times and even convinced my parents to try sushi there. The food comes very quickly and also tastes very good. Especially in direct comparison to a larger sushi restaurant in Dortmund, the selection at Toyoki was better as was the quality of the dishes. The service was always friendly, quick and made sure we were happy with everything. Toyoki is far better than anything else Herne has to offer in terms of sushi and it doesn't need to hide from the neighboring towns either. We always enjoy eating there.

Qualität und Geschmack nach wie vor sehr gut. Haben uns Essen über die App Too Good to Go bestellt. Anstatt 13,30 Eur nur 4,50 Eur. Man muss sich erst einmal im Umgang mit dem Tablet gewöhnen, um seine Bestellung aufzugeben. Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen lecker, mit verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Keine Debitzahlung und kein Glückskeks am Ende, obwohl andere Tische die erhalten haben.

Seit knapp 2 Jahren unser lieblings Sushi laden. Einmal im Monat entweder zum Mittagessen oder Abends. Beide Speisekarten sind echt top. Wir haben viel schon ausprobiert, hier schmecken die sushis einfach nur am besten. Unser kleiner freut sich auch jedes Mal weil er immer was bekommt. Sehr kinderlieb alle Mitarbeiter.

Waren das erste aber sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal hier. Fantastisches Essen und ein sehr freundlicher Service. Die Auswahl war reichlich. Die Bestellung via tablet perfekt. Es gab 15 Runden mit je 5 Gerichten pro Person. Wir haben lediglich 6 Runden geschafft und waren pappsatt und glücklich 😊 definitiv eine Weiterempfehlung wert!

Wir gehen Regelmässig Sushi bzw. Asiatisch essen und wir waren hier wirklich enttäuscht. Wir waren abends zum Buffet da. Fangen wir mit dem Kimchi an: Kohl in süß-sauer soße. Das hatte mit Kimchi gar nichts zu tun. Die bestellten Udon Nudeln: geschmacklose Spagetti. Abgesehen davon dass es keine Udon Nudeln waren, war der Geschmack auch eher schlecht als Recht. Das kann ich noch ewig weiter führen über nur nach fett schmeckenden Crunchy Rolls hin zu Unagi Kabayaki mit lediglich einem Daumengroßen Stück Aal. Also eher eine Portion Reis mit Deko. Geschmacklich hat insgesamt auch das Standard Sushi nicht überzeugt eher enttäuscht. Der Service meiner Meinung nach auch echt schlecht mit Ausnahme der jungen Kellnerin. Das Ambiente lässt auch zu wünschen übrig insgesamt hat man sowohl von der Inneneinrichtung als auch vom Geschirr das Gefühl ultra Low-cost abgefertigt zu werden. Den vermeintlichen Versuch Kartenzahlung nicht zu akzeptieren lasse ich Mal so im Raum stehen. Hat mich allerdings verärgert da er mich für Dumm verkaufen wollte.

Asiatisches Restaurant in zentraler Lage, freundliches Personal. Elegante Einrichtung. Gute Karte, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Unterhaltsam ist die Bestellung per Tablet. Die Speisen sind lecker zubereitet, die Getränke gepflegt Gerne wieder.
