As always, great food. Nice service.

We've eaten at the restaurant several times before, but what happened today was unbeatable in terms of arrogance. We ordered drinks, then nothing happened for 3/4. After we asked if we could order food, we were told someone would be there shortly. After what felt like 30 minutes, the very arrogant manager of the restaurant came. He took the order. He must have forgotten the friendliness at home. 45 minutes later and unfortunately there was no sign of the food, we spoke to the boss again. Of course again very arrogant and unfriendly. The order was taken again because it was forgotten. An apology would have been great, but unfortunately it never came. The food suddenly came very quickly. We know it can always happen, but then you should also apologize. Seldom seen something so unfriendly and arrogant. Next time we will prefer to eat at another restaurant where you are still valued as a guest.

We made reservations for 6 p.m. The first drinks arrived quickly. The desired starter arrived at around 7 p.m. The salad for the main course came 30 minutes earlier than the main course. This came at 8:15 p.m. The service was terrible. Apparently we were transparent and they couldn't or wouldn't serve us. All guests who arrived after us got their main course before us, ate it, paid and left. There is a table outside (solid wood) where special guests are given preferential treatment. I could write a lot more about it, but the evening was a disaster despite the positive reviews online. We're not coming anymore!

The restaurant Ouzo's is a very nice restaurant, the food is very good, the service is excellent, the ambience is right, the outdoor area, i.e. the winter garden, is beautiful. I can only recommend Ouzo's, it's just a wonderful experience to go there.

You are in Herne with work colleagues and want to go out for dinner in the evening. Which restaurant should you choose? A Greek, of course! And with good reviews. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. Positive: the food, at least what wasn't forgotten, tasted good. Starters were forgotten except for one. Drink orders were taken half-heartedly and people at the table were often overlooked. Ok, there were four of us (4!!), so you can lose track. At least there was ouzo as a welcome, as usual with Greeks. Otherwise a grade 5 due to the absolutely miserable service. Are we coming back? No!

The last time I visited my nephew was to eat there. This time I had two starters. Octupus is charged according to the daily price and is something special for me and the scampi. I love dipping the bread in the pan once a month. I eat baby calamari best I like them fried.. I don't like them fried elsewhere. My nephew had pan gyros and grape leaves. Everything was very good, so the food and the service.. there's nothing to complain about

Our favorite restaurant for years. We appreciate the friendly and friendly atmosphere. The food is always fresh and delicious. We especially love the starters. In summer we like to sit outside and feel a bit like we're on vacation. And if something doesn't work out, the response is always friendly and professional. Yes, sometimes it takes a little longer on weekends if it's full (food is freshly prepared!), but that doesn't bother us - we're in the restaurant to relax and enjoy ourselves and not with a time clock. And even on days like this, the food is consistently good quality and the service is friendly.

I would prefer to give 0 stars. Stood in front of the shop on Christmas Eve for a table at 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. without any explanation. In contrast, Deutsche Bahn has service. The Christmas holidays were over for us as we all suffered from a bad stomach upset after this visit.

I don't know if it's true, but I heard that the old Nicos restaurant on the main street in Wanne is the predecessor of this house. I was thrilled with Nicos back then. I'm excited about here now. Everything was perfect, service, food, absolutely everything. The only thing I regret is that I didn't ask if Lucky went along with the move (he was like a head waiter or something at Nicos back then) 👍🙂Edit: he did, I saw him today 👍🙂

We met there yesterday among work colleagues and had a really great evening. The service was unique, there was “regularly” something to digest ;-) the selected starters that we shared were really very tasty. The same applies to the main courses we had. For example, I had the pan gyros in white wine sauce. The portion size was really appropriate for the price of €13.90 and absolutely enough to fill you up. The only point of criticism is that the toilets are not really clean, and I have to agree with the previous speaker. Otherwise, the atmosphere is really great and we were warmly welcomed, looked after and said goodbye. Thank you very much!

The Ouzos Restaurant in Herne really impressed me! The atmosphere there is really cozy and the food is simply delicious. The Greek specialties are freshly prepared and taste simply fantastic. The staff is super friendly and attentive, you really feel like you're in good hands. I can only recommend the Ouzos Restaurant and would love to come back!

So I have to say that this was one of the best meals we had, the disadvantage was that here and there we had to wait longer until someone was noticed, but when someone came, the service from a to z was great. Eating there means eating comfortably and should not be associated with time pressure. I can recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes Greek.

The Ouzos in Herne not only offers an outstanding selection of Greek specialties, but also an impressive variety of fresh fish dishes. From grilled octopus to baby calamari to delicate loup de mer. The quality of the food is excellent and the restaurant is also characterized by its extremely friendly staff and the family-like approach to guests, which makes the visit an all-round great experience . A real highlight for gourmets, connoisseurs and friends of Greek cuisine. The espresso martini is not to be sneezed at either! 5 stars - If you want ouzo, you can get it here too!

Nine of us and two dogs were guests there this evening. We were there at 6:00 p.m. and we received the main courses at 8:00 p.m. A good 45 minutes passed between the starters and main courses. Like at the train station, loud, way too crowded and the service wasn't up to par. We sent three meals back because they were cold. And then the waiter who said that our dog should please stand on the other side of the table because it was in the way. They could have thought about it beforehand and given us another table. Our conclusion: absolutely not recommended, fill the place up, at the expense of quality and guest satisfaction.

Despite being there promptly at 6 p.m. we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our food. 2 of the meals arrived cold and the side dishes all came 20 minutes later than the rest of the meal. And 2 meals generally came 10 minutes later than the others and the food didn't taste really good for the price. I would have preferred to go to McDonald's or the kebab shop, the food would have been there quicker and better and the portion would have been better would have been bigger and more appropriate for the price. Although we pointed out several times that we would like to order first, we were brushed off and told “the colleague would be coming soon”. Unfriendly staff, they only paid attention to the bachelor party. This restaurant is not recommended.

A family member had been here before and had a good experience. But unfortunately we were all disappointed today. At first it took almost an hour before we could order the food. We had indicated several times that we were ready to order. We were always turned away with: “The colleague is coming soon”. Other guests who arrived much later than us were able to place their orders sooner. After about 20 minutes the appetizer arrived. These were delicious and recommended. But then it took another hour until the main course came. Of the salads that were handed out in the meantime, two were forgotten and then handed out later. For the main meal, seven of nine dishes arrived at the same time. Of these, three were sent back because the meat was cold. The other two dishes arrived a little late. The food wasn't really good either. Given the service and food, you could have gone to a Greek snack bar and probably would have been happier. Unfortunately, we lost our appetite for dessert. The drinks also sometimes took a long time to arrive and sometimes we had to ask specifically whether they were still coming. Some of the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. Others, however, seemed as if they had no interest in their job. In general, it seemed as if the distribution of the waiters among the tables wasn't quite successful. Even though we had announced that we would be coming with two dogs, we were seated in the middle of the aisle by the stairs, which wasn't the most ideal place, as one of the waiters unkindly commented. We paid separately. Here, a family member was asked to use their calculator to calculate the final totals. Even though the waitress was very friendly, this seemed extremely unprofessional. We also have to note that the toilets were very dirty. The restaurant appears visually quite appealing. However, since there were several large parties present and all the other tables were occupied, it was quite loud so that it was difficult to have a conversation. Overall, we were very disappointed and can't recommend this restaurant at all. This visit was one of my worst restaurant visits ever.

The visit to Ouzo’s was really delicious. The meat was great and the side dishes were crispy and hot. Unfortunately the waitress brought the soup after the main course, but that shouldn't happen, but it can happen. Otherwise everything was fine, the ambience is more elegant than cozy, but that is also a matter of taste and the focus was on the food, which was rich and good.

Several times a year we enjoy the great ambience, the delicious food, the courteous service and the ouzo. We have never been disappointed and will definitely be back soon. The tzatziki is our absolute favorite and should never be missed as a starter. Whether grilled or fish, the food comes to the table hot. At least that's how it was with us. For my birthday there is singing and tiramisu, which my husband is always particularly happy about. Thanks to the entire team. Keep it up.....

I don't even want to give one star! We were invited to Ouzo's today. Although all the guests arrived on time, after half an hour of waiting we were still standing in the middle of the fully occupied restaurant without anyone feeling compelled to take us to a table. If you tried to ask, you were brushed off. You were even more likely to be in the way and the staff didn't necessarily ask you to make room in a friendly way. However, that was hardly possible as we were not the only (larger) group that was simply left standing for so long. Poor planning can happen, and guests may occupy a reserved table for longer than planned. But that can be communicated properly! Then a solution can usually be found. However, if you as a guest feel annoying and simply "in the way", then that is not beneficial. Apparently, according to some of the most recent reviews, this is exactly what has been happening more often recently. That certainly shouldn't be the case! We ended up going to another restaurant and were welcomed there - even without a reservation! - friendly welcome and service.

I visited Ouzo's three times and was impressed every time. The food was great every time, the prices were completely okay. The staff absolutely friendly and nice. Clear recommendation from me without any “ifs and buts”. As the “icing on the cake”, the restaurant also offers top sanitary facilities, unfortunately not a given. I thought it was a shame that there were only two senior plates on the menu until I ordered one for €10.80. AWESOME - I'm thrilled and there was even a great salad with it. Thank you for having such a great offer for the little hunger pangs.

We were there as a team on Saturday last week. Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the atmosphere. There was a birthday party going on in the back, so all we had to do was yell at each other and there was no more entertainment than talking to the person next door. We couldn't communicate with the colleagues sitting opposite. This should simply have been said when making the reservation. The service left a lot to be desired, very unfriendly behavior from customers. I've rarely experienced something like that. Except a waiter. We had to clear our table in the middle of the evening even though we were only able to order food after an hour, which came almost after an hour and shortly afterwards we had to clear 2 tables for other guests. As far as the food is concerned, unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the taste either. I don't think we'll be back any time soon.

Wir haben dort mit Arbeitskollegen einen Tisch für 30 Personen reserviert. Nachdem alle da waren, mussten wir 1h und 10 Minuten warten, bis wir unser Essen bestellen konnten. Hätten wir nicht mehrfach darum gebeten, hätte es wohl noch länger gedauert. Das Essen wurde dann 50 Minuten später gebracht. Die Portionen waren übersichtlich. Bei der Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen, für den beachtlichen Preis von 21 Euro, gibt es nur einen gefüllten Pilz, den man sich dann wohl teilen muss. Wir saßen in dem langen Raum zwischen Lokal und Saal. Im Saal gab es eine Geburtstagsfeier mit sehr lauter Musik. Da der Raum offen war, mussten wir uns fast anschreien um uns zu unterhalten. Das Ambiente gleicht in diesem Bereich eher einem Flur. Der Gemüseauflauf meiner Kollegin war auch sehr übersichtlich und nicht schön serviert. Das Personal war schlichtweg mit der Masse an Gästen überfordert, wenn man einen Wunsch äußerte, war die Reaktion eher genervt als freundlich. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist ok, aber nichts besonderes. Da ich vor einem Jahr auch bei einer Bestellung eines Radlers erst nach mehrfacher Nachfrage, 1h später dieses Getränk bekam, muss ich davon ausgehen, dass das Personal immer überfordert ist. Meine Arbeitskollegen und ich, werden so schnell nicht wieder hier essen gehen. Es ist zu voll, laut und der Service einfach überfordert. Schade.

Wir hatten gestern eine Teamfeier im Ouzos und der Service war eine Katastrophe. Wir mussten eine Stunde warten, bis wir überhaupt eine Bestellung fürs Essen aufgeben konnten (trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage). Das Essen kam dann wiederum eine weitere Stunde später. Die Krönung war dann, als wir einen unserer Tische für andere Gäste räumen mussten. So einen schlechten Service habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Wirklich sehr schade, weil das Essen gut war...

Eins vorweg, es gibt keinen besseren Kellner als: LEO ! ;-) Alle Kellner sind immer und jeder Zeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Das Essen, der Service und das Ambiente sind sehr gut. Auch wenn es mal länger dauert was mal vorkommen kannlohnt es sich immer wieder. Jede Minute ist seine Zeit wert.

Wir waren heute Abend im Ouzo's mit 4 Personen. Der Service ist leider nicht gut. Wir haben auf die Getränke 45 min. gewartet dann sind nur 2 Getränke gekommen, nach weiteren 10min kamen die beiden anderen Getränke. Auf das Essen haben wir insgesamt 90 min gewartet und es kam dann auch nicht gleichzeitig. Geschmacklich war es gut.
