Definitely my go to place for thai food. Must try mhu krob, fish patties, mama tom yam, mhu paloh, and kra pao. Also dont forget the thai tea!! Great staff, awesome owner, and nice atmosphere.

It's so delicious that you absolutely have to order the Ssam Tam and the Lang Ssam as well! And if you are coming in the evening, I recommend making a reservation!

BEWARE: THE WAITERS FORCE YOU TO TIP THEM! I had lunch there last Friday and split the bill with my friend by paying a little more. When my friend wanted to pay the remaining amount, they said we're running short. I insisted on them that we paid and it's the amount, yet they said we should have chosen the items we ate & drunk. I explained that we already paid the whole amount but he wouldn't accept it. I asked if I paid extra for a tip and he said "Yes". Then he should have told me before that I'd have to choose the items and pay accordingly. So they trick you into paying more, be very careful. Food is not special either, mediocre compared to any Thai option on Kantstraße.

First visit to tossakan, fantastic restaurant, the entire crew and the boss are super friendly, the food is really good and really like in Thailand, I had my best somtam in all of Germany here, and I've already had a few. But it's also a great menu otherwise, the pad kra pao was really tasty, the only small point of criticism is that you have cha yen on the menu, which I think is great, and unlike many others, yours isn't that watery either, it's really good. Except for the little thing that you replace sweet condensed milk with a milk-sugar mixture, that unfortunately adds a lot of authenticity. It doesn't taste bad but just not like in Thailand. But that's complaining on a high level, if I don't have any money for Thailand I'll come to you in the future

I came here specifically for the Yellow Curry Fried Crab 🦀️. I managed to reserve a spot and a fried crab curry by phone the day before, but when I went to Tossakan the next day I was told that the crab curry was sold out. I would like to ask why this feature is open if the reservation serves no purpose? The food was okay, but every dish was very spicy and I was completely bored and sick after just one bite.

I can only say recommendable. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, the taste here is very good and I love the product. Had 3 starters, 1 main course Everything is great For groups, I recommend ordering all starters to share. I'll be clear again I thought the second restaurant in Kreuzberg was good. The pork belly, the soup and the dumplings were to my liking. I can't say anything about the main courses except the braised short rib, which was good.

Best thai food in berlin by far. The papaya salad was on the spot, spicy and fresh! As the main dish, I had a beef version of Kra Pao, which had a perfect mix of flavour and really tender beef. Was craving for something sweet after the explosion of spices, which was pleased with a mango sticky rice. Definitely will come back to try other dishes. The menu looks really promising!

My wife and I actually eat very spicy food, but it was too much even for us and it puts a lot on our stomachs. The decor is rather spartan and despite the heating it is very cold in the restaurant. The service was very friendly and the mild dishes were also very tasty.

This might be the best Thai food I’ve ever had in Europe (much better than the london ones for sure, just saying). Distinct flavour each dish and the meat was very tender. Might be a bit of a challenge to finish the bowl if Tom Yum Gai if you have low spice tolerance, but it was a lovey starter on a cold winter day.

The service was so not impressive and the waitress was quite rude, but the food was authentic.

Half of the food was served cold after 1 hour of waiting and the other came 10 minutes later. (Guests who came after our group had already finished eating) After a complaint, the food was taken back without comment and remade... another 15 minutes wait. The service wasn't even willing to offer an apology or explanation. That was the last time in the restaurant. (The food was good, but not worth the 60 minute wait)

Never had such a bad meal in Berlin, it lacked any taste and it had nothing to do with Thai cuisine. The service staff were unfriendly and the whole thing was rounded off by a recurring olfactory greeting from the toilet.

We ate incredibly well here... Dishes are as we know them from our Streetfoot tours in Bangkok... We will definitely come back...

The restaurant is really worth recommending! The Pad Krapao in particular is an absolute highlight – incredibly delicious. 🥰🥰 Spices are perfectly balanced and the portions are generous.

I don't have such a warm feeling here as a guest. The service was very good plain and cool.The food was average and the spicy Thai's is too spicy.I like spicy but this is overdone. They were also not satisfied when giving tips. What do you think you are suddenly in America?

We were there with 3 people and we all had to say: Extremely poor quality of meat - tough and inedible. Since almost all the pieces of meat were left on the plate, the waitress was kindly made aware of this. The only reaction was an offended twisting of the corners of the mouth, no "I'm sorry" or "I'll pass it on to the kitchen". In a rather high-priced restaurant (around 18 euros for a comparatively small portion), at least a small drink or something similar would have been expected as an apology. The dish that was listed as less spicy on the menu was super spicy. The dish, which had been ordered as extra spicy, was comparatively mild. The men's toilet was broken that evening, which you could clearly smell when you went in. Since we had one of the tables at the back, it was no longer noticeable. But tables near the toilets were also occupied.

The food is basically like that of almost all Thai and other Asian restaurants. Here the Tossakan stood out neither positively nor negatively. The same applies to the ambience. There are probably only a handful of interior designers for this type of restaurant, so that's why they all look the same? Unfortunately, the service was a bit out of the ordinary: maybe it was a “bad day”, but the curt, annoyed style and the ostentatious disappearance when you hadn't made your choice yet felt stupid; Even if you don't get a smile from an Asian person - then I can also go to a Berlin shop.

The food was absolutely amazing—super authentic and incredibly delicious! The fried chicken skin was an absolute must-try. but it’s important to note that the food in the picture needed to be pre-ordered, so plan ahead. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the prices are fantastic, offering great value for such high-quality food. Highly recommend!

I really love Thai food. The food here was authentic and delicious. We wanted to try Leng Sap (Thai style braised pork ribs), but unfortunately we couldn't try it because it was pre-ordered. We will come back. Som Tam (green papaya salad) tasted like the ones we had in Thailand. One thing that was disappointing was that the basil was fried in the pork and basil fried rice, so we couldn't taste the basil at all. Recommended restaurant.

Anyone who likes Thai cuisine will be very happy here. Here you can get authentic dishes prepared from fresh ingredients. I have rarely eaten such delicious Thai food. The employees are quick and polite. The prices are relatively cheap (3 people main course + drink = approx. 70€). It is recommended to reserve by phone in advance. I'd love to come back...

The Thai restaurant is located in the Brenzlauer Berg district. Small, cozy atmosphere and very nice service. The dishes are very spicy to spicy 🌶️. Very tasty and freshly prepared. The map is clear and left nothing to be desired for us. Regardless of whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, we found what we were looking for in all courses.

Pad phed gaeng ribs- the ribs should be cooked longer to soften as the taste is not absorbed well. The texture of the beans and aubergine do not go well with the meat. The material of the ribs is of mid quality. For the quality of the meat it is overpriced

We consistently have an excellent and authentic experience at this restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious and very spicy. If you're not a fan of spicy dishes, this might not be the best choice for you, though the menu does offer plenty of options with milder spice levels. The cocktails are also great, and the service is fantastic.

Had the Oyster Explosion, which lives up to its name. Flavor explosion. Skadoush. We shared the sea bass between the two of us, got two plates and a large portion of rice, which was really great and tasted just as phenomenal. Everything was very nicely prepared. Four stars only because of the high price, even if the quality and preparation are absolutely right and you can therefore spend the money with a clear conscience. It's just expensive.

The service was subpar. The waiter muttered to himself, without looking at him, no hello, no please, no thank you. Every request was a nuisance on our part. Food was ok, nothing special. The store itself is very averagely furnished. Definitely never again because of the way the staff treated us.

The worst waiter ever, i never saw a service like this, don't go there if you want a pleasant welcome.

Top service. Came up to me with a smile and sat at a free table. We also asked if everything was ok between times. You don't have to wait long for the food and the food was really great. I felt like I was at home.

I always eat “Kra Pao” here and have been thrilled every time. Until...We had pre-ordered the only dish that needed a lead time the day before: Leng Saap for €30! When the plate came, we thought we were at "Rudi's Resterampe": skeletons with small pieces of meat that you could only eat with your hands. There felt like 30 flies at our table within 2', which didn't make the feeling or taste of the meal any better. From the Insta photos we expected a lot more in terms of meat and presentation! The brew, in particular, tasted delicious. The meat...dry, little and unfortunately visually very unappetizing. Luckily we had ordered crispy chicken skin as a starter, which was incredibly tasty. Afterwards: “Mama Tom Yam” with seafood for €28. The photos on Insta promised more than what we got. Tastes good, but not “tongue-inducing”. The noodles were very reminiscent of an instant TomYam pot and there was something about pickled cabbage on the menu (which was also mentioned in the Insta posts from Tossakan). Not that we are cabbage lovers, but since it was on the menu, we asked for it because it was missing. It was an oversight when writing the card and wouldn't even be in court. Aha, strange, because Tossakan always mentioned it in his posts. All in all: top starter. Main courses flop - unfortunately especially Leng Saap

The main waiter seemed to be stressed out of his mind and just came across as super rude and annoyed when asking for a table. On top of that one of the other servers had a runny nose and was constantly touching it to block it from running when taking our order. Was pretty grim. Food tasted nice, but the service was really not professional.

I ate here for my birthday and there were five of us. What an experience! Basically munched through the menu and didn't find anything that didn't taste good. The people here know what they're doing. Miang Cham and Tom Zaab are highly recommended. The Tom Zaab in particular is an experience! 10/10 I would eat myself to death again

We were very excited about our visit to Tossakan and unfortunately our expectations were only partially met. We started with Makua Chup Kai. While the flavor of the eggplant came through well, unfortunately there were a few things that didn't fit. Unfortunately, drowning in oil and a little too much salt didn't really make the dish explode in flavor. Likewise, the breading simply doesn't seem authentic and I haven't seen anything like it in a restaurant in Thailand or Australia (where there are many good Thai fusion restaurants). 5/10 The first main course was Pad Phed Gaeng Ribs. Unfortunately it's not edible because it's overly salty. Great service sent the dish back to the kitchen and the second attempt was a real success. Unfortunately, it's still not over the top, but it's constant. 8/10 with a blind eye. The second main course was Nua Narok. Definitely our favorite of the evening. But the spiciness is just not Thai and too weak for 3 chilis. The meat is good, but not top quality. 8/10 The service in the restaurant is absolutely top, being very attentive and friendly. Overall, it should be noted that the table occupancy is limited to 90 minutes and is very short and you can hardly immerse yourself in the evening.

The waiters were quite unfriendly and arrogant to the point of being reproachable, the food was sometimes quite expensive and even the officially not so spicy things were VERY spicy, although that is of course relative. Unfortunately, the service in particular leaves a bad aftertaste Example: I only order an appetizer “But they won’t get enough of it.” How big is THIS main course? "I can't tell you that, you have to decide, I can't make a decision for you" (and in an arrogant, annoyed tone) So you can tell I'm not full, but not how big the main courses are???

Unfortunately I'm disappointed! I was looking forward to authentic Thai cuisine and my expectations were not met. It's just too hipster Berlin style and has forgotten what Thai cuisine is all about. Customer requests are ignored. The ambience places little emphasis on comfort. Despite reservations and free seats, we were relegated to the back seats. Spices were not offered. Overall too expensive and not worth the 40 minute train ride each way through Berlin!

Fancy restaurant with aggressive insta advertising that sells marinated salmon as a traditional fish. Wants the local to be at home. Dishes are good and creative but I want to eat Thai things that I eat in Thailand and the salmon is not a fish that you usually have on the menu there and that is just an example. These are rather fancy Thai dishes with a European touch

Not for the faint-hearted but if you love authentic spicy Thai food: Tossakan it is! Love their green curry ribs, and crispy chicken skin, and all. But no matter what you order, it’s all delicious! Even if you have it delivered it’s the same great taste and portions.

Absolutely amazing Thai food. Just moved to be at the top of my list! The heat level is very welcoming tbh unlike many other places where heat overpowers the taste! The sticky rice mango is superb!

Unfortunately we are disappointed. The food was mediocre, very greasy and not particularly appetizing. There was very little meat in the meat dishes - my lamb dish had a small piece of meat. We felt slightly ripped off for the prices. We definitely won't be coming back.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant that I believe is capable of much better service. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed, and it took 90 minutes for us to receive our main courses. When I tried to inquire about our order, the waiter responded dismissively, which I found to be unacceptable behavior. While I am not an expert in Thai cuisine and can't vouch for the authenticity of the dishes, I found the food to be very good overall. However, the level of spiciness, particularly in the fish dishes, was a bit overwhelming for my taste. Given that Thai cuisine is not well-represented in Berlin compared to other Asian cuisines, I will continue to search for a better alternative.

The staff is so helpful and the taste is reminding me Thailand. Really nice place to stop by if you missing or want some Thai Vibe.

We ate here with a reservation. Drinks were asked after about 20 minutes. The food came in stages so we couldn't eat together. Individual dishes came after repeated requests. This happened to us with the starter and also the main course. Questions about whether dishes can be adapted were not taken into account. The food was good, no question. Unfortunately it's not the service. Hence the rating. I can't recommend it and probably won't come back. Maybe we just had a bad day because I expected more from the review.

Table reserved and confirmed. A day later the cancellation came. I called and was promised a table. So we went there and no table was reserved. The ladies tried hard, but one of the waiters didn't believe me, even though I showed him the call list. A third person present, whose voice he thought he recognized, became very rude. Okay, so we ordered drinks and asked for some food, when out of 4 people asked for food there was none. And that didn't seem credible to me. So never visit a Fame Thai restaurant again, stick to my Kiez Thai restaurant. Even if you start the day badly, always remain nice and friendly. That's what I know from Thai people. @Google yes, I was there and can prove it with the receipt if you want to take action against my recession.
