Small but excellent food. Very good value for money.

A bit of a coincidence we ended up having lunch here, but if you fancy Thai food while you are in Berlin then this is an excellent restaurant. Best papaya salad and pad Thai I have had since I was there a few years ago

Actually 0!!! stars. Rude, unfriendly, got the order wrong and blamed me, the costumer. Please practice your listening skills and make sure you understand orders correctly. Atmosphere very unwelcoming, tables occupied by employees and/or family. N plus overpriced. Meals I saw looked dreary, non appetizing and not Thai. Avoid, avoid avoid!! Rip off.

This is my third time here. Very disappointed this time. The food was just okay. The meat wasn't that tasty. The worst part was the unfriendly waitress. We'll never be back!!!

I was very disappointed with my visit. When I arrived, the staff were sitting at a table with friends – I had no idea who was even in charge of serving guests. My glass had lipstick on it, and when I asked the waitress about it, she simply poured the Coke into another glass instead of bringing me a new one. The food was okay, but the service was really bad: No one asked for more drinks, the food was simply "slapped" on the table, and I only got napkins after asking. The staff seemed unfriendly and unprofessional. I definitely won't be back.

I had the pad-thai which was delicious. The service is good and the workers are kind. Got my orders pretty fast. The place is a bit cramped but kind of cozy and homy.

I have to admit that the exterior appearance put me off quite a bit. It seemed very greasy and dirty, and not at all inviting or cozy. The window was so dirty and dirty that it was almost impossible to see in, and a quick look inside didn't convince me to eat there either. Despite all that, I ordered something because I really like Thai cuisine. The food was delicious.

Best Thai noodle soup in Germany, period! I’m a sucker for thai dry/soup noodle. Been in Thailand multiple times and have always hunted for thai noodle, especially tom yum noodle. This is the closest I can find to the best noodle places in Thailand. This even beats some places in Thailand! In Germany I’ve had thai noodles in big cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Frankfurt. The closest one to this quality is in Hamburg, but Thai art is still much better. I can’t recommend it enough, really. No. 1 on the menu is my second favorite, but my absolute favorite is the tom yum dry noodle (not on the menu, but ask for no.1 but in dry version). I love to add more chili flakes, a lot of the red chili pieces in vinegar, some extra fish sauce, and some extra sugar. Not to mention their Cha Yen (Thai milk tea) is still the best I’ve had in my life together with Soi 22. I’ve tried a lot in Thailand, but Cha yen in Thai Art is still my favorite. I wish I still live in Berlin. I could eat this multiple times a day, every day.

They are not welcoming, they are not saying hello, they throw their menu at you and 30 minutes later they are asking for "was then?" Complete disrespect. They also accept only cash. They are always yelling in doors, they just have 2 tables outside.

Food was delicious, but unfortunately some dishes were out.

I ate here for the first time today. I'm thrilled; it was incredibly delicious, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and the food arrives quickly and hot. I'd be happy to come back 👍 I definitely recommend it.

Small restaurant serving one of the best Thai noodles in Berlin! Having been to Thailand almost every year and loving boat noodle, I can tell the flavors here are 8.5/10 authentic 💯 will definitely come back to try more

Very authentic, very close to the food in Thailand.

Thai-Art is one of the few places where I’ve had truly great, authentic Thai food outside of Thailand. All the dishes we tried were bursting with flavour, perfectly seasoned, and rich in umami. We can strongly recommend the Tom Kha Gai, Red Thai Curry, and Pad Thai. There is seating both inside and outside, and the food is prepared freshly yet promptly. You also have the option to add extra seasonings and spice at the table to adjust the dishes to your taste.

That was a wonderful experience... as authentic Thai as it can be. I've been to Thailand over 30 times in my life, and today I felt like I was there... top-notch food and a truly Thai atmosphere... don't expect a fine restaurant... expect to be in Thailand... that will be fulfilled... love it ❤️

I visited this restaurant for the first time after seeing lots of positive TikTok and Instagram videos, but I was unfortunately more than disappointed. The Thai tea was delicious, but I had to throw away my Pad Thai with tofu later on. The tofu tasted completely rotten and smelled disgusting. Unfortunately, the older gentleman who was the server that day was so extremely rude and irritable that I didn't dare complain on the spot and instead had it boxed up and thrown away outside. He had previously loudly yelled at a German customer because she was apparently confused about which Thai tea was with milk and which was without. He then gossiped with the Thai customers sitting in the restaurant for at least 15 minutes. Everyone laughed, and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant was extremely unpleasant. In the end, everything was somehow more expensive than stated on the menu, but I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Really authentic Thai food. Definitely recommend. Not the cheapest but the taste was good. If you’d prefer less spicy, be sure to specify!

The food was delicious, but the price didn't match the menu. When paying, we were informed that the seafood dishes were €2 more each, which wasn't stated on the menu. We had a brief discussion with the waiter, but she was absolutely unwilling to compromise.

Delicious, especially the pad prik. The tom yam is great. Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Service is generally friendly, but sometimes a bit cold and taciturn.

The most authentic Thai restaurant with original food that I love to come eat again and again

My very good friend who was born and raised in Thailand recommended me to go there! She claimed this place to be the best Thai cuisine she had ever visited in Berlin. It is truly authentic and I guess, before you go, you need to know what exactly you would like to try. The menu is huge!!! I didn’t want to experiment, so I ordered pad Thai. The portion was decent and I barely ate it all (this is good!!). I left this place with a feeling I have to come back again and order something different, because my pad Thai was just OKAY but nothing even close to WOW 😕

Didn't know boat noodles yet. So I don't know what it's supposed to taste like... but I can say that they are brutally delicious here. 👍

The best Thai food you can get in Berlin! The boat noodles are my absolute favorite and super authentic. They taste just as good as in Thailand itself! An absolute must when traveling on Kantstrasse.

Delicious Thai food in Berlin. Here you are spoiled for choice: 6-7 authentic Thai restaurants within a radius of 1-2km. The bistro is very small and relatively inexpensive. When we were there for lunch it was completely full and I was the only non-Asian looking customer - that's usually a good sign and indicates authenticity.

Delicious pad thai with shrimps, great price, super cozy environment and super polite waiter!! The food was also prepared immediately and very quickly, I was in heaven!!! I look forward to coming back soon!! Thank you very much!!!

We ended up here by chance. Maybe. I ordered the wrong thing but the glass noodle soup didn't convince me. The broth was sweet and the “vegetables” weren’t really edible. Too bad

I come here regularly because in my opinion it has the most authentic Thai food in Berlin.

We ended up here by accident. We initially planned to go to another restaurant, but it was full. While passing by, we decided to come in. Surprisingly, the food was good, although a bit pricey for what was offered. The boat noodles were authentic and delicious. Having had countless boat noodles in Asia, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste here. The drinks were also nice; I especially liked the iced tea and coffee. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I feel the meat in the soup could have been more plentiful or in larger pieces.

I visited it many times. I hope the restaurant will keep the quality...The pictured soup is one of my favourites and not easy to get in other restaurants in Berlin.

The taste of boat noodles is still authentic and amazing 🤩, however the price is a bit high compared to the amount of meats you get. Heard about the tragedy of the chefin happened last year, hope the restaurant shall pass this challenging situations.

Traditional, delicious and of course a little spicy. Had a very tasty soup (No. 13) with noodles, beef and sprouts. It was just perfect in winter. Great service and nice atmosphere :)

BEST BOAT NOODLE SOUP IN TOWN! Will keep coming back time and time again. Rich, spicy, flavourful broth, delicious noodles, preferred meat and topped with gorgeous fresh herbs. The service is always sweet and you can tell it’s very community orientated/family based. The ambiance is just basic Imbiss but the Food completely makes up for it! Grab some of their amazing homemade take away desserts on the way out too!

I had Tom Yum Suppe and it was really good. However the portion was a bit smaller than what I expected. Also, on the menu, the description says the soup has meatballs without mentioning any additional costs. When I asked them why mine didn’t have meatballs, they said the meatballs would cost extra, which was quite confusing.

Value for your money. Nice and informal and tasty.

In the heart of Berlin's Asian gastronomy (Kantstr.), the Thai Art restaurant invites you to traditional, authentic Thai cuisine. It's a small restaurant with about 10 tables. Quality of food: very good. Prices: cheap compared to the other Thai restaurants in the area. Always tastes great! The service is always very friendly (typically Thai ☺️). Ambience is rather average. We recommend!

My wife and I both had Thai tea and and the Pad Thai here. It was very very delicious! We will definitely come again. The service was friendly and wonderful. It's not the most esthetic place/location, but that did not bother us. We would highly recommend this place!

The dishes were 100% better last August. Now it becomes too sweet. I could taste nothing but sweet in the broth. That was a pity because I did love this restaurant and all the service here. I hope the food will be better on my next trip to Berlin.

Ate there for the first time yesterday. The extremely high price for a tom kha kai soup of 12.90!! unbelievable and in no way justified. We thought this must be a very special soup for €12.90 - unfortunately the opposite! The toilet so close to the bar and kitchen and not recommended either!

Amazing Pad THai and Krapao Moo!!!

I felt like I was begging for it even though we paid for the food. And I think as a customer, I should not have to feel like I was begging the restaurant to serve me. Food was underwhelming and wasn’t worth the price. (Same dish at other’s table looked better than mine) I felt like I got the leftover of someone’s portion… overall , lack of consistency and professionalism

I’ve been charged 3 euro for a glass of tap water, the food it was served cold and super spicy, even when I specifically asked for it not to be. noticeable bad hygiene in the area I wouldn’t repeat my experience.

Original Thai soups and homemade Thai tea. Extremely tasty and at fair prices. My favorite was the dark noodle soup.

After we left the door open for a while, the very smoky air dissipated somewhat. It felt like you were superfluous as a guest, fried rice with chicken for €13.90 was a steep price considering the portion.

Update of my review, today, March 6, 2024 The restaurant has a new owner, a new team and a new chef. I tasted that right away on Pad Kaprao. The dish is still tasty, but unfortunately not as good as it used to be. Unfortunately the prices have also risen again. A pity! It's also funny that, like in the previous review, it was taken into the wallet. There was no receipt. You don't want to think anything bad. New photo: the menu with the new price tags. When I wanted to pay, the employee told me a different price. I showed the announced price on the card and she responded with the following statement: "Old prices". So if it wasn't enough that the price was spontaneously changed at the checkout, of course I didn't get a receipt for it either. Because of the tax office.

I had the pork belly wok (no. 19), my girlfriend had the red curry. Average taste, nothing special. Little amount of meat for the price. Used to be way better, now it’s just below average. Would go to Chon Thong over this place any day.

I get transported to Thailand every time I eat here, the yen ta fo is a hug to the soul on cold, rainy days. The people are super nice as well! Okay And listen to their sign, taste before you put any extra seasoning because it is made to perfection 😋

The dishes are very large, with authentic Thai flavor. You can ask for something spicy. It makes you miss Thai food. Recommend (the shop only accepts cash)!!!

Pad thai here is simply the best in Berlin. Tastes like original Pad thai in Thailand. Sweet, salty and creamy. Most importantly, they use the right kind of noodles which not all Thai restaurants here use. For the other dishes, the taste in general is nice but a little too sweet for my taste. Friendly staff and homey atmosphere.

Absolute Empfehlung wenn man authentisch thailändisch in Berlin essen gehen möchte. Wir hatten eine Beef Noodle Soup und Pad Thai mit Garnelen und beides hat uns total gut gefallen. Das Essen kam schnell und die Preise sind total fair. Immer wieder gerne!

I love it when a restaurant surprises me positively! The restaurant is very small, has good service and very good food, I'm there whenever I can... they don't accept cards. Ich liebe es, wenn mich ein Restaurant positiv überrascht! Das Restaurant ist sehr klein, hat einen guten Service und sehr gutes Essen, ich bin da, wann immer ich kann... sie akzeptieren keine Karten. Adoro quando um restaurante me surpreende positivamente!
