The Chon Thong Restaurant recently opened a small café right next door that offers some Asian cakes and cheesecake. We each ordered a sponge cake-like cake with orange and pandan flavor as well as 2 Thai iced teas. The cakes were soft and quite OK for my taste. The iced tea tasted the way you know it.

Never eaten such bad Kao Pad Gai! All raw and bland ingredients dipped in oil... very far from "fried" rather briefly warmed up in the pan.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I want to give feedback to the restaurant to help them improve their food. The staff services are nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere is good At first, I thought this restaurant would be delicious. Make the taste of Thai food But my girlfriend and I thought the same thing that we ordered besides tom yum noodles and papaya salad and satay chicken, the taste was just right. Otherwise it's not delicious at all. The grilled pork neck was soft but not flavorful. The sauce was bland, which was very disappointing. Because I really wanted to eat rice with red pork and crispy pork. Crispy pork in a delicious plate But the sauce didn't taste at all. We probably won't go back to eat because we're disappointed. What's really bad is the spring rolls. We wrapped it up but then threw it away. I went to this restaurant because I saw Thai people leaving such beautiful reviews, so I thought this place would have authentic Thai taste. I ordered simple dishes like ‘Khao Mu Daeng,’ but it tasted so bland. The ‘Tom Yum noodle’ was acceptable, but still not that good. The ‘pork grilled’ or ‘Kor Mu Yang’ was also not that good but acceptable. The papaya salad was okay; it was the only dish I could finish because I enjoyed it more than the others. The Satay Kai was not bad. However, I rated the spring rolls 0/5; they were the worst spring rolls I have ever tried.

Somtum is good Ko mooyang is normal Nam took moo is normal Kao man gai is good And I ordered food to go Kao moo krob Kao ka moo ( but they forgot to put rice ) Rice it's kinda mix with basmati In my opinion there is more places better than here. Grilled pork neck, the sauce is not delicious, the meat is not soft. Ordered 2 servings of pork leg rice to take home with a friend. But there is no rice provided. My friend has rice. But the full price is the same. Overall, not impressed. I've eaten at other restaurants that are much more delicious than this.

Visited this restaurant in a group of 5. The waitresses were friendly and finding a table was easy. We ordered multiple dishes and shared them amongst our group. Every dish we ordered tasted incredible, though my favourite was the Red chicken curry. Restaurant is easily accessible with public transport (U7 Wilmersdorfer Str. & the Charlottenburg S-Bahn station) Would recommend!

The worst restaurant I've ever been to on Kantstrasse. I was there with a friend and she wasn't allowed to order what she wanted because the waitress said she didn't know what she was talking about and that the other one was better. Both dishes tasted so strange that we couldn't finish them even though we were very hungry. When the waitress saw the half-full plates, she laughed and said: "You're the last ones, the kitchen probably didn't make any effort." That doesn't work at all. Never again!

Nice little café, for me because I only had a drink here and I could see cakes in the display. As a matter of fact it was clean. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and friendly. The service was courteous and attentive. I only gave the food four stars because I only had a lemonade, which was excellent. I hadn't eaten anything.

We came across this restaurant by chance shortly before 10 p.m. and were kindly allowed to order something to eat quickly. The dishes came incredibly quickly and tasted very good. At that time we were the only guests who didn't have Asian roots, which speaks highly of the restaurant! It was very full and it tasted great! We found the price (€10.90 for a main course) more than fair! We'd love to come back! :)

A great location right on Kantstrasse. Very nice service. The food was very tasty. A really good indication of the authentic cuisine was the frequent visits from Thai people. First up was Som Tam Mamuang. It was really nice and spicy. Maybe it's better to order mild. Plus a Thai iced tea and mango lassi. It was really delicious and fresh. Main course beef soup with rice noodles and fried chicken with rice noodles. Both really tasty. The broth is very round and strong. Meat very tender. The chicken and rice noodles went well together. Mildly spiced, accompanied by the mango salad. Delicious. All in all, gladly again. I would also like to mention, perhaps unusually, the toilets. They were so clean and well maintained. I've rarely or never seen that until now. Big praise for that. Extra thanks for that. .

The green curry, in particular, stood out with its creamy coconut base infused with fragrant lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. The rice was a tad stodgy, though. On the beverage front, the matcha ice tea and Thai milk tea were delightful, offering a sweet and refreshing contrast. Service was polite but not overly friendly, and the cash-only policy proved inconvenient. In summary, this Thai restaurant offers authentic flavors with standout dishes like the green curry, but improvements are needed in consistency across the menu, payment options, and customer service to truly elevate the dining experience.

The restaurant is easy to reach and the employees are nice. Starter spring rolls were so delicious and they weren't prepackaged from the supermarket. The meal with rice and minced meat was really tasty and you can choose the spiciness from a little spicy to very spicy. Noodle - a type of Phad Thai but wasn't too convincing. The menu says it's too spicy but when I ordered I asked if I could have it with less spice. But unfortunately it still came out TOO spicy. The eggplant in ingredients refers to Thai eggplant, which in my opinion is not that tasty and has a bitter taste.

Some dishes like red curry and khaosoi are nice , others are basic . The seating is cluttered specially in busy hours. Portions are generous.

As good as any Thai restaurant I’ve visited anywhere. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I’d certainly recommend the Tom Yum soup. I also had the basil duck and really loved the flavors but would try chicken next time instead of the duck. The only drawback is they only take cash which was a bit of a hassle.

We eat there regularly and are very satisfied. The ingredients are always fresh and there is a reasonable selection of dishes at fair prices. It always tastes good. The atmosphere invites you to linger. Highly recommended. To be on the safe side, you should make a reservation in the evenings and on weekends, as it often gets full.
