I recently ate here, and the restaurant has quickly become my favorite. The food is beautifully presented and tastes exactly to my taste. I've never been to Thailand, but here in Germany, I find this restaurant perfect for my palate—even if I'm not sure if it's truly authentic Thai. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We went for dinner without a reservation and still got a great seat. The portions are absolutely reasonable for the price. There's also a small stand outside with Thai desserts. I tried a slightly salty pastry wrapped in banana leaves—very tasty, even though I can't remember the name. I will definitely come back to buy it again.

Solid experience – but not authentic enough After my fourth visit, I can say it was a good 3-star experience for me. The food is tasty, but not authentic enough for my taste – it seems heavily tailored to the German palate. That's not necessarily a negative, but I know Thai restaurants in Berlin that serve more authentic dishes. The service was friendly, but not particularly attentive. Perhaps it was because it was close to closing time – but that shouldn't be an excuse. The ambiance is simple, straightforward, and minimalist. Personally, I find it lacking a touch of homey feeling, but perhaps that's intentionally designed. Overall, solid, but for authentic Thai cuisine, I would recommend other restaurants.

When it comes to authentic Thai cuisine in Berlin, we've been going to Chon Thong (or Papaya across the street) for years and are always impressed. The salads, stews, curries, and Pad Thai are particularly delicious. The sweets counter at the entrance is also a highlight – we always pick up boxes of treats that remind us of our Bangkok trips. The drinks are great, but the pork belly dishes didn't quite convince us. Since card payments aren't accepted, we recommend bringing cash beforehand or walking around the corner to the ATM.

The meal was very good and the service was nice. But only cash payment is acceptable. Milk tea is recommended. After several months, I went back once more to the restaurant, but the restaurant's staff did something evil. This is based on what I saw, they did not give any Chinese the bills after they wanted to pay, same with us. For the other customers, they have one. So, for us, they just use their phone to calculate the price with the calculator and just told us the amount verbally. In the price, they slipped in the price of a dish costs 10 Euros that we did not order, luckily, we already calculated the price beforehand. After we found out, there is no apologize, nothing at all. So, not gonna give it another chance.

Tolles Restaurant is a great place to relax and have a great meal. It's a great place to eat and the food is delicious. It's on the street and the place is very authentic. Authentic cuisine, delicious and fresh. The ambiance could be nicer…it's not easy to get a decent-sized table for three or more people. Reservations are therefore advisable. The food is good, but we experienced a hectic, rushed atmosphere here.

This Thai restaurant is simply amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, authentic, and perfectly spicy—exactly what you'd expect from authentic Thai cuisine. For me, it's definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I know. It's packed at any time of day, weekdays and weekends—which speaks for itself. Despite that, I've never made a reservation and always managed to get a seat, which is really nice. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, and the service is surprisingly good despite the hustle and bustle. If you love authentic Thai food, you should definitely stop by here—highly recommended!

Awesome pad thai. Tastes like in Thailand even though i have never been there. But I can imagine it's the same. It was on point. Fresh ingredients, chicken, was not dry pasta was 👌. I also had soup Tomka. It was delicious, and shrimps were so perfect. Price is also reasonable. I can recommend it. We'll deserve ❤️ in my Google maps.

Best Tom Yum outside of Thailand. Thai food is pretty authentic. Have to admit that they forgot about our main dishes for a while, but figured out the mistake themselves. In a proper Thai manner, they pretended that it was supposed to be like that ;) . Honestly for the flavor, price and so authentic experience, I cannot complain. Note: card payment is not available, cash only.

So far I only had Laarb Gai here and I come back for it almost once a week. I’ll add some rice to it and I have my quick fix. If you ask for it, you get it really spicy. And I mean REALLY spicy. 🌶️ Yes, I would love to see more variety in fresh herbs / flavors and more dishes you don’t get everywhere but food tastes good, prices are fair and the Team is exceptionally sweet and relaxed. ♥️ Just try!

The food is really good. What's completely unacceptable—and surprising that no one seems to mind—is that you have to pay in cash! The reason for this and the business model behind it should be clear to everyone who gets involved and thus participates in the plundering of the state and social systems.

If you’re looking for real Thai food in Berlin, this is the place to try ! I’m Thai and visiting Berlin, and the food here tastes just like home. Everything was fresh and full of flavor, just like what you can get in Thailand. All the staff speak Thai, and the service was friendly. the prices are also very reasonable. It can get busy during dinner time, so I recommend booking a table if you plan to go in the evening.

Nice environment and the food had pleasant presentation. But I was disappointed in the taste of the Pad-Thai. It was very sweet and reminds me of the taste of ketchup. No spice at all. And the noodles were very thin round like spaghetti. I was expecting flat wide noodles. It’s not the normal Pad-Thai.

We went out for lunch after hearing that this restaurant is known for serving authentic Thai cuisine. Being Thai ourselves, we were excited to enjoy some comforting flavors from home. We ordered the chicken with rice, crispy pork belly over rice, and a glass noodle salad. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. The restroom was also impressively clean, which added to the overall positive experience. We highly recommend this place if you’re craving Thai food in Berlin.

I went there yesterday with some friends. We got a table spontaneously without a reservation. I had the Pad Thai with tofu and the hibiscus lemonade. Both were very tasty, although the drink loses its flavor very quickly. However, the tofu isn't cooked separately in a different oil/pan like meat. This is also stated on the menu. Payment is only possible in cash.

Upon arriving at the restaurant the owner was already welcoming us and asking if we need a table. Although it was crowded he managed to get us a table by the side walk. Ordered a dish of fish, minced beef, toufu and tom yam soup. They tasted delicious and authentically Thai. Looking forward to my next trip to Berlin and definitely will return for another meal.

Real Thai food at fair prices really good

I went here 28/3 with a large friend group, ate there and drank their red thai milktea, after paid for the bill with a more than 10% tip, I took a last sip of the drink (with a straw) and there’s a small piece of broken glass in my drink, I told the waiter and gave her the glass piece, all the replied was: “Es tut mir leid”. And because we are hurry to leave and I also don’t like arguing, so I leave but I’m too disappointed about how they solve problem, it could be dangerously for me if I swallowed the broken glass piece. Won’t be back again

Very good Thai food. We received this as a recommendation from a Thai friend. Food got quickly served by very friendly staff and it was very tasty and probably also authentic. I can't tell;)

The spicy pork belly stir-fry is delicious

Great food, feels realy autentic. Gai sate- the chicken was okay but the peanut butter sauce was amazing, its sweetness went well with the chicken. Gai pad metmauang- Sauce with erfect combination of sweetness and spicyness. The veggies in the dish were done so well, and the salad aside the dish was fresh.

I ordered a portion of spring rolls with vegetables to go for lunch, and they were the best spring rolls I've ever eaten. I highly recommend this place.

The spring rolls are absolutely amazing. The appetizer with fried tofu was also delicious, with a very tasty dip. We also had a Pad Thai with tofu, which was delicious. My absolute highlight, besides the spring rolls, was my Pad Kra Pao with pork belly, which was so delicious I still think about it. I highly recommend eating here; there's a huge selection and something for everyone.

Favorite Thai! One of the few restaurants that I always enjoy visiting again. Even though my commute is long, I would always drive that far to eat good authentic Thai food. My go to order: papaya salad, pad Thai and the Thai ice tea. Everything else always varies.

After visiting the Olympic stadion we arrived in Charlottenburg for a walk and shopping. We decided to eat here and that was a good choice. The food is delicious, very authentic and nice spiced. The service is very friendly and fast.

Were there on the recommendation of a friend. Overall ok, Gate Sai was good, tofu starter was too soft inside, sauce was delicious. Duck with red curry was far too creamy, the Pad Thai was the highlight, very good.

Unfortunately a disappointment. We left hungry because the portions were very small (at least the "salads") - it was just a few strips of beef with lots of coriander, even though there were cucumbers, celery, tomatoes and red onions on the memory card. Unfortunately, only a few pieces of it were found under the coriander and celery was completely missing. The dressing was super sweet and only tasted like garlic. Four people sat at a next table and were also disappointed and not full. The service was friendly but very uninterested in the customer. We don't have to go there again.

The Pad Thai was really disappointing. The rice noodles were very mushy, more like a porridge. And the taste was not edible.

Unfortunately, the worst Thai food I have ever eaten in Germany. Not authentic at all! No spices whatsoever. Every dish tasted almost the same and very bland! It's a shame because we were really looking forward to it.

I'm Thai, and of course!! I've eaten Thai food in many places in Berlin and this is one of my favorites. The taste of the food is like eating in Thailand. They have Tom Yum Goong, Pad Krapow, Somtam, Kaeng Khiao Wan and more. The taste is excellent. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and always have a bright smile. I recommend it.

Order Tom Yum noodles, very delicious, spicy, no need to add seasoning, fragrant with freshly roasted peanuts, small noodles, one bowl is enough to fill you up. And papaya salad with fermented fish, fragrant with fermented fish, the taste is great for Isan people like us. Larb Moo - medium taste, not spicy, fragrant with lime, roasted rice, served with vegetables. The shop owner and waiters are very friendly and welcoming. Oh, the mango smoothie and lime juice are refreshing, not too sweet. Highly recommended.

Location: Chon Tong is only accessible by subway or bus, and it's a few minutes' walk. Interior: We're sitting in a café that also belongs to Chon Tong. The wooden bench is more comfortable than Chon Tong. Price: The food was very reasonably priced, but the shrimp appetizer was a bit pricey. Food: Everything was excellent. The duck curry was delicious. Service: The waitress was friendly. Chon Tong is cash only.

Food good and true to the original

Authentic tasty Thai. I love the spicy rice noodle salad with pork and duck salad

Had dinner there with a friend today. To eat, I took off my bow tie (a gift from my parents) and placed it next to my plate. She was taken with the white napkins when clearing away. This was noticed after 5 minutes. When asked about the missing bow tie, they supposedly asked in the kitchen, but denied that I was even wearing a bow tie. "If it had been on the plate, it would have been noticed immediately." My request to look in the trash can, since it had only been 5 minutes ago, was met with a dismissive response: "we looked three times, they didn't have a fly." It wasn't overcrowded and we didn't have any direct neighbors and there weren't any flies on the floor either. For such a mistake, I expect a different approach than denying it and accusing the guest of lying. The souvenir is lost forever due to carelessness on the part of the operator. According to the restaurant, the guest is to blame.

The food is super delicious. The rice is served separately so that everyone at the table can take some. I had a curry which was kept warm over a candle at the table.

The air is really burning here, the restaurant is very busy, almost every seat is fully booked. The waitresses are quick, competent, friendly. Even the restaurant manager helps. Actually original Thai! There are all the classic dishes you know from Thailand. Very fresh ingredients. We'd love to come back! But with reservation👌🏼😊👏🏻👏🏻

An authentic Thai restaurant that we can definitely recommend. All dishes were delicious and you can taste the typical Thai spices and cooking style. Friendly and fast service. The atmosphere is also suitable for the restaurant, a bit louder and lively. The price here is also adjusted to the current conditions (inflation, rising personnel costs, etc.) and is therefore slightly more expensive. The portions are a good size.

The dishes are very tasty and the potion size is as it should be. There is nothing to come after. As a Dane, I can only say...it can't be done better.

The food was really good, the green curry is spicy but delicious. The service was not good at all, the waitress was really rude, as the clients are her enemies. The restaurant atmosphere needs more on design and decoration.

My go-to Thai place. While I’m not Thai, I have been to Thailand and can say that this food is one of the most authentic in Berlin. Food: the food is all around delicious. I didn’t venture out of my typical dishes (pad thai, pad see ew, massaman curry, chicken laarb) but everyone I go with others, they love their selections too. Service: for how busy it tends to get, their services is quite good. Their staff is generally friendly. The only reason I have 4 stars is because sometimes the wait can be long to get your food (we’ve waited 40 minutes). Atmosphere: it’s usually always busy (during lunch and dinner hours) and filled with a combination of locals, tourists and different ages. It’s noisy as well. I quite like it as it adds to the space. So if you want a romantic dinner, go somewhere else or order takeout. :-)
