Tomasa in Berlin

"Are you so angry that you don't tip a cent?" A discussion ensued... I should have noticed... I ordered a vegan breakfast and got a different one. It happens sometimes, and I also told the waitress that it tasted very good and that, fortunately, I'm not vegan. I pay by card and never enter the tip, but leave it in cash on the table. I already had the 2 euros in my hand. This makes her the first waitress I haven't tipped in years...

Very good restaurant, we had breakfast there on a very charming terrace. The dishes were very good, and nicely decorated!

We were there for Mother's Day. The service took forever (about an hour) to bring breakfast. It took about 20 minutes for the first coffee. The breakfast was average at best compared to other breakfast restaurants. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it at all, not for such an occasion, or for anything else.

We've been going here for years. The food is always friendly and delicious, and the atmosphere is nice, even though the staff often rotates because it's so busy. A really great restaurant.

Lovely café-restaurant set in a red-brick villa at the edge of a Berlin park. In summer, the outdoor seating is a real highlight; during colder months, the nice two-story indoor space offers a warm and inviting setting. The atmosphere is lively and often busy, so it’s best to reserve in advance. Service was quick and attentive, and the food was well-prepared, and satisfying.

Lovely restaurant with high quality food and lovely service. Stunning location, perfect for breakfast or brunch. Food was absolutely delicious and very fair price for the amount and quality.

When there are a lot of guests and they're talking, it gets uncomfortably loud. Sometimes I couldn't understand the person I was talking to. No, I don't need a hearing aid. It's the room acoustics. There's potential for improvement. There are companies in Berlin that specialize in this.

Directly at Kreuzbergpark in old walls with large terrace

Very good, attractively presented food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. An architectural gem, a must-visit.

Today we were in these beautiful walls for the first time. There are seating options in the garden, on the terrace, in the courtyard, in the guest rooms on 2 levels or in the conference/event room. We had our assigned table there because we were a large group. The service was very friendly, but basically couldn't keep up with the number of guests. Luckily we weren't on the run today, so it didn't matter that we had to wait about an hour for our ordered breakfast. From a culinary point of view, everything was great.

Definitely my favourite restaurant in Kreuzberg. Located right on the beautiful Viktoria Park! I recommend the platters. Doesn’t matter whether you’re have breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. This place is magnificent.

The worst veal schnitzel ever! And I've eaten a lot of bad things in Berlin, but this was really shocking. The meat was basically non-existent and it was just a huge flatbread of breading fried in rancid butter. Disastrous and really a huge impudence for 26 euros! It's a shame, I've always eaten well in other Tomasa restaurants. I'm really shocked! And I wasn't even allowed to tell anyone how terrible it was, the waiter barely understood me and said there was no one there and actually he didn't really give a damn! So also really crappy service!

A tastefully furnished villa with a down-to-earth, diverse menu. The food was good and plentiful, the service was quick and very friendly. The prices are reasonable. A real recommendation in Kreuzberg.

Great place with a great breakfast that is cleverly prepared. Nice staff. Unfortunately very loud inside due to the room acoustics. Otherwise a wonderful place with a very nice atmosphere.

We enjoyed the afternoon on the terrace today with the sun and Aperol, we were served in a friendly and prompt manner, there was a great tapas platter, everything was great and recommended

We were there today with 7 people. We were all very satisfied. Even though it was very busy today, the service staff was always very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. We were in the large hall and we liked the ambience.

As it has been for many years, everything is great. The team is great, the food is always delicious and the terrace is very nice in spring. The other Tomasa can learn something from this! Lichterfelde is a personnel disaster! Preparing half-raw Eggs Benedict three times for a Schwamgere is embarrassing. Zehlendorf is ok, but serving only half a gluten-free brunch would not have been possible in Kreuzberg. The country house was also great but unfortunately it has been sold. If you have the choice, go to Villa Kreuzberg!

The selection of food is great, as is the quality and quantity. Service okay but slightly overloaded (lack of staff as in many places), ambience in a tent made of scaffolding with a tarpaulin so-so. Overall, to be recommended, always happy.

The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance that invites you to linger. The decor is modern and tasteful, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The service was also friendly and attentive without being intrusive – we felt well looked after. The food, however, wasn't entirely convincing. It was okay, but neither particularly flavorful nor creative. The dishes were well prepared, but unfortunately lacked the wow factor you'd expect from a good restaurant. Overall, a solid experience, but one that still has room for improvement.

We had to wait about 45 minutes for our breakfast, and they didn't even ask for drinks. There was no apology, nothing. Otherwise, the food was very plentiful and good.

My visit to Tomasa Villa Kreuzberg was a complete pleasure! The vegetarian breakfast was not only excellent in terms of taste, but also lovingly prepared. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced. Every bite was delicious. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive. Her warm manner contributed significantly to the feel-good atmosphere. The ambience was very inviting - a mixture of comfort and stylish flair in which you immediately feel at home. Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast experience that I can highly recommend. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We won't be coming back. Unfortunately the service was poor, the food was cold and not fresh and we had to wait forever. The ambience is great, but not enough for the overall rating.

I ate my best Kaiserschmarrn at Villa Tomasa! 🥞✨ Perfectly airy, just the right amount of sweetness – just a dream! But not only the Kaiserschmarrn, the Caesar salad and the other dishes were also very tasty and of high quality. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow. Our table was reserved on the second floor, but no one accompanied us, just briefly explained where we had to go. Once upstairs there was no waiter in sight and we had to either wait or go downstairs and ask ourselves. Despite the rocky start, the food made up for it all! I would definitely come back – just for the Kaiserschmarrn! 😍🍽️

Highly recommended and extremely delicious cuisine!!!

Just way too crowded. We waited over 40 minutes for our coffee and 1:15 hours for our food, which was still cold. But the bill came immediately. When we asked after an hour where the food was, a red-haired waitress just insulted us with the sentence: “It takes as long as it takes”.

Our breakfast was fantastic! We were there on a busy Sunday (reservations recommended) and had the favorite waiter in the world! Breakfast was delicious, drinks arrived on time - what more could girls want? ☺️

I'm thrilled!!! Diverse, delicious, international cuisine! Good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes (the last one is worth highlighting as there is really a large selection). Super nice staff and cozy atmosphere wherever you sit, whether on the ground floor or on the 1st floor. We are very impressed and will be back!!! Thanks !!! Very nice restaurant, with a large outdoor area in summer, right next to the park. A wide range of vegan options. Something for everyone! Cozy and delicious. Always happy, as a couple or in a larger group.

It's been my go-to brunch place for years now. I go for special occasions, or take my guests here. I always take the delicious Tomasa brunch. The surroundings are also lovely and make for a nice walk.

Restaurant located in the old city villa "Villa Kreuzberg". Great ambience, pleasant service and very good, international and varied food (we ate salads and burgers), although a little more expensive (but appropriate for the quality).

Nice restaurant with a good selection of food. We were there for breakfast. Great selection, delicious and imaginative brunch plates. Prices moderate. The most expensive thing of the day was the parking meter outside, we stayed late.

The three of us spontaneously looked for an opportunity to have a good meal and found it here. It was very full, the staff were very nice and they quickly found a place. The food was very good for everyone and the price was right. Nice furnishings are added.

The boss is not child-friendly, although there is room for this. He complained because our children were playing. We had made a reservation for 40 people and then went to another restaurant. I recommend the Mustang Resturant

We have our Christmas dinner on December 25th. really enjoyed it here. Everything was perfect, the food tasted really good and the service was also impeccable. We had nothing to complain about. All special requests were also taken into account. 👍🏻💕

Very large, varied menu, from tapas to large main courses. Something for everyone. The service was courteous and quick. Atmosphere appealing on both the ground floor and first floor. Only the people sitting next to me at the table were too loud. But that can happen anywhere. Highly recommended!

Beautiful villa in a classic style, in the middle of Kreuzberg, well attended. This is the second time we have booked this place for our company Christmas party and we don't regret it! The dishes can be ordered a la cart, not a “menu”, and the goose and duck in particular were very tasty, like mother’s, and didn’t take too long to arrive! The prices are not overpriced. The service was very attentive, we were particularly impressed by Maria, the fastest mouse in Kreuzberg - everything was perfect! Admittedly it is quite crowded there before the holidays, but the Christmas atmosphere was right and it wasn't overcrowded. We'd love to come back!

Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The delicious coffee specialties and the tasty cocktails round off the offer. The absolute highlight, however, is the excellent service! The team is always attentive, reliable, solution-oriented and always friendly. We would particularly like to highlight trainee Maria, who impressed me with her speed, competence and thoughtfulness on my 60th birthday. An absolutely recommended venue – we would love to come back!

Unfortunately, our table was adjacent to the games room... It was therefore quite loud. The parents were smart enough to reserve a table away from the table. They knew why. 😀

Super delicious cuisine, great menu. Unfortunately, the dishes sit in front of the kitchen for too long until they are served and some of them were already quite cold.

A stylish restaurant in a listed villa that formerly served as a garden house and is now home to a restaurant serving home-style cuisine. A friendly welcome at the beginning, which was confirmed by courteous service throughout the evening. The daily menu featured goose breast, which was served perfectly carved. Unfortunately a little too dry, you could tell that the dish was cooked in advance and served warmed up. Not a long wait at the table, but I would have preferred to wait longer. The homemade dumplings and red cabbage, however, were perfectly prepared. I'd love to come back and try the "standards" on the menu.

Too loud, the noise level is terrible. Breakfast is delicious, but the selection has shrunk and the rest is totally overpriced. The cheapest is €14 and then goes up to €17. Drinks have to be paid extra and are also way too expensive.

Was in the tent with a fan heater. Can be endured. Not a blast. Mass (people) instead of class, service sometimes nice, sometimes in a bad mood when you remind them what is missing from the order.

Based on today's experience with the service, I can only give one star because it absolutely spoiled both the food and the mood for me. I ordered a non-alcoholic pomegranate spritz as a drink. This is also marked as alcohol-free on the menu under ALCOHOL-FREE. I'm pregnant so I still wanted to make sure and asked the waiter whether it was really alcohol-free. He just said that if it says so, then it has to be that way. But he came across as if he didn't even know this drink. Well, I then said yes, it is classified as non-alcoholic. As often as I've assured myself, you can't even imagine it. The drinks came, I was happy and took a big sip. I immediately taste alcohol. Because I was unsure, I gave it to my partner, who could only confirm it. It's an absolute impudence and borders on bodily harm. I am PREGNANT, so I make sure several times that this cocktail must be alcohol-free. And you still get served a cocktail with alcohol. I don't know if the waiter was new or at what point it failed. But I believe in him because he then had to ask the blonde lady if there was alcohol in there???!! How can this happen when he ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail? Nothing came except a small “sorry”! Except of course the full bill! To be honest, I'm speechless, there was no apology from the boss, no attention to the house or a voucher. Aside from being pregnant, I could have been a dry alcoholic. Absolute failure, not only in terms of service but also simply as a human being. I feel bad and guilty and hate being your guest.

Etabliertes Tagescafe mit schönen Plätzen im Freien wie innen. Waren wieder mal hier …an einem Sonntagvormittag….Gottseidank reserviert… denn randvoll und laut…. Der Service ist freundlich und so schnell wie es eben geht, Sonntagvormittag ist eben Frühstückszeit und es brummt. Die hauseigenen Limonaden sind prima. Das Frühstücksangebot reichlich und üblich. Sollte jeder sein Frühstück finden. Keine Experimente, das Vertraute was man so kennt und erwartet. Qualität wie in guten Hotels.

As always, very good food and despite 14 people, everyone received their breakfast at the same time. Extra orders and additional drinks could be ordered quickly and arrived promptly. The service was very friendly as always, highly recommended!

This place is now my new favorite place in Berlin. Food, service, vibe - ALL Perfect !!! Americans are very welcomed. They also have a large front porch where you can have full service while enjoying smoking with heater/blanket. Alex was a great attendant of my tables three late nights in a row. It’s situated right next to a beautiful park where you can enjoy a walk after your meal.
