Det var et helt okay sted at stoppe for en rask lunch. Service var ikke så opmærksom, men det gik alligevel. Der var ikke lys på toilettet og generelt virkede det ikke så rengjort der. Der var faktisk overraskende meget spindelvæv som hang fra taget inde. Heldigvis sad vi ude.

Temps d’attente extrêmement long pour des plats simples à préparer, flams et pomme de terre. Plus d’1 heure d’attente pour une restaurant relativement vide, assez incompressible… Le restaurant profite clairement de son emplacement idéal à côté du centre historique de Kiel.

We come from Düsseldorf and visited Tom Kyle for the fourth time. We are always very satisfied with the staff, food and hospitality. It is highly recommended.

Foremost, I was amazed by the ambience of the restaurant. I was served with a sumptuous plate of Fish and Chips, maybe because I’m an Asian; I could barely finished it. Secondly, I ordered a cup of Dunkel, which was a perfect drink to simmer the summer heat. Thirdly, it is a great place to chill out with your friends to watch a football match during the Euro Cup. I appreciate the kind patience the waitress who served me, though I’m constantly just looking at the other one. Thank you.

A sports bar where you can't properly watch the European Championships. The TV doesn't have decent sound, the food isn't very satisfying. The drink prices are okay. Not recommended. Take another store.

We are very satisfied with the food and drinks on offer. The beer tastes very good. The operation and service is fast, professional and friendly. We really liked the limited but beautiful outdoor area at the Old Market. Overall, a recommendation from us. Gladly again.

Yesterday the four of us were there to watch football. First we ate something that was edible but wasn't particularly good. Then up to the ⚽. There was a terrible air, the service was terrible and overall a pretty horrible atmosphere. The big thing came when it came time to pay, everyone had to queue up and go to the checkout. That took an extremely long time. That was enough for us, we won't go there again.

We only had a few wines and soft drinks but it seemed like a perfect place to rest and regain strength.

We wanted to sit on the second floor and watch football, but after 5 minutes we got a headache. It smells horribly of drippings. The clothes had to go straight into the wash. A pity. Also, we had to order the coffee downstairs because coffee isn't taken upstairs.

Recently a lot of Flensburg varieties. A brewery without its own varieties - a strange appearance. There used to be seriously different types of beer with really different tastes and colors - that's exactly why you go there! beverages Large selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, but coffee from the ready-made machine is also served. A large selection of bar drinks, but only a small selection of individual types (approx. 5 different types of whiskey). No really outstanding “vintages” or liqueurs. Eat You can also order food here, but it's nothing "particularly good" or "particularly bad". Unfortunately, you can't determine your own orientation like "North German cuisine" or something similar, it's more like copying the menu from the surrounding restaurants. At the very beginning in the first few years there was a lot of seasonal cuisine and with an extra menu, unfortunately this has diminished a lot. Conclusion Therefore only three stars for the usual thing I can do at home - beer alone or beer with food. A highlight is the sports bar, where I can watch “Employment for the Masses” (i.e. German football) for free. I think it's a shame that in all these years they haven't managed to differentiate themselves from the surrounding competitors (brewery, sports bar, good regional cuisine, international cuisine, coffee house, only homemade food - yes, everything is within walking distance!) that you have a unique selling point that attracts customers.

Always nice to dine at this Restaurant every time we visit Kiel. Located at the heart of Kiel's old town; the ambience, the food and the service are always top notch. They also have one of the best beers that I believe they brew for themselves.

We sat on the terrace with 6 people and were always served very friendly. With the friendly staff and good food, it's also nice to leave a tip. Keep it up

I've been there several times. There are great beer specialties there. There is a sports bar upstairs. Staff young and relaxed, friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. There wasn't much going on, so it went quickly. We were also able to move from outside to inside because the wind was uncomfortable. Food and drinks tasted very good. Price-performance is right.

I couldn't give the food a star because there was nothing. I had to reload the waiter so that I could even get something to drink. The service was almost zero. The shop was relatively empty. I wonder what they'll do when it's really full. The waiter was also visibly annoyed with his job. That's why I didn't order anything to eat.

We held a larger celebration upstairs. We had it completely to ourselves and were even allowed to use the dartboard and pool tables for free and play our own music over the system. The food was very tasty and came for all 35 people at the same time. The service was friendly and courteous and the prices were very fair. Highly recommended, even for larger groups!

We were there with a large group and the arrangements made in advance all worked really well! The owner was very nice and accommodating and went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable. The food was delicious and all drinks were served very quickly.

Went there for the first time yesterday... I was really excited! Great ambience, super friendly service that is also happy to fulfill special requests. The food was very tasty, good sizes and value for money is absolutely okay. After eating, we were able to burn off our calories playing darts or billiards on the upper floor - here too, everything was nice and bright and very clean. We spontaneously stopped by the Tom Kyle Altstadt Brauhaus with the family. We were warmly welcomed by the operations manager. Great atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Regarding service, I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. Totally attentive, extra requests were no problem and friendly despite the restaurant being full. The whole thing is super organized. Happy to come back!

We have now been to the Altstadt Brauhaus several times and we always enjoy coming back. Bright and friendly atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service. When it comes to the selection of food and drinks, there is something for everyone. Whether tarte flambée or other hearty or delicious pancakes as a dessert. A good changing selection of beer and other drinks. In summer you can sit outside in the old market, but in the colder months you can just make yourself comfortable inside.

The location is coolly decorated and the service was attentive and very friendly despite being understaffed. We didn't eat anything but still had a nice evening.

Diese nette, helle und gemütliche Kneipe, die auch die typischen kleinen Gerichte serviert, sollte man schon wegen des „Amber Lager“ Biers besuchten. Ein gutes und süffiges Gebräu. Gegessen habe ich hier nicht, wer nach Kleinigkeiten sucht, wird hier aber sicher etwas finden, z.B. in der „Kieler Brauerei am Markt“.

A pleasant atmosphere, for dinner or an evening football event. Everything is just right, especially the local beer from our own brewery flatters the palate, it is spicy and embeds the mucous membranes of the pleasure organ in a symphonic veil.

Today we spontaneously stopped by the Tom Kyle Altstadtbrauhaus and I have to say that it was the first and definitely last visit to this restaurant. My chicken breast fillet and side dishes (fries, salad) were still ok and edible. However, I found it absolutely impossible that ketchup and mayo were served in squeeze packets like McDonalds. The pretzel with butter starter wasn't great either, as the pretzel had spent far too long in the oven. However, my wife's meal, beef roulade with red cabbage and mashed potatoes (autumn/winter menu, €21.90), was an absolute disgrace! Red cabbage completely tasteless - probably unseasoned from the jar, mashed potatoes worse than the instant stuff from Pfanni and Co. Had to remain on the plate - absolutely inedible! The roulade itself was ok. However, in my opinion, charging so much money for this “culinary masterpiece” borders on fraud. Only the service we received was impeccable! A dog at the next table was even immediately given water. Very attentive.

Ikke pengene værd. Vi var 2 par på forlænget weekend. En ville have 2 retter, det kunne de ikke styre. Fik suppe ind samtidig med at 3 fik hovedret, suppe ikke varm og måtte sendes ud igen. Sad og ventede 30 min på 2 ret, til sidst annullerede vi ordren, betalte og gik. Panering på schnitzel faldt af og kartoflerne halv koldt.

Had a company party with about 100 people Old town brewery. It was a smooth affair and we felt very comfortable. The food, service and facilities were perfect for the occasion and the team put in a lot of effort. Thank you and always welcome. P.S. We were even able to dance.

The view outside from the upstairs was interesting, the food was good too, just the service was a bit sloppy. The leisure activities couldn't have been better.

It was our first time there, but we probably won't come back. The service was very nice. It is also very stylishly decorated. I didn't think it was ideal that you had to go so far up to the toilets. I had a salad with strips of beef. The beef strips tasted fried, were hard and chewy. My husband enjoyed the burger, but it didn't look particularly appetizing.

Unfortunately, the food is not good: the ribs were cooked too long, the meat was dry and the ratio was 1:1 with (inedible) fat and a careless barbecue sauce on top. Desolate side salad. Fries okay. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. The home brewed beer was also ok.

Ich fragte nach einem Spiegelei auf meinem Wienerschnitzel (wollte es zum Hamburger Schnitzel abändern lassen.). Dann wurde ich recht laut über Hygienemaßnamen für Frisch-Ei-Verarbeitung belehrt und dass man nur Voll-Ei-Ersatz nutze. Ich habe dann mal gegoogelt: Verboten sind rohe Eier (z. B. für Tiramisu, Cremen), Spiegeleier und weiche 4-Minuten-Eier nur in !!! Großküchen !!!(Gemeinschaftsverpflegung). In der Gastronomie sind sie erlaubt, „es ist aber darauf zu achten, dass nur frische, durchgehend gekühlte Eier verwendet werden. Wo war ich dort? In einem Wirtshaus oder einer Großküche? In die weitere Diskussion mit dem Personal wollte ich nicht einsteigen. Es scheint sich hier wohl eher um eine Sparmaßnahme der Lokalität zu handeln. Ich werde mir demnächst in Kiel eine der diversen anderen Restaurant für mein Hamburger Schnitzel suchen müssen. Schade…. wegen einem Spiegelei.

Zum Zwischenstopp um von Kiel nach Oslo zu fahren sind wir am Vorabend bei Tom Kyle eingelaufen 😅.... Sehr gutes Speiseangebot mit einem fairen Preis mit .... Ein großes Lob an die Küche sowie auch an seinen sehr fleißigen KAPITÄN ... vielen Dank und grüße aus Braunschweig

Das Brauhaus hat ein modern-rustikales Ambiente. Die Kellnerinen waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Bier (Helle Boe) hat schon ziemlich lecker geschmeckt. Das Essen (Schnitzel mit Pommes und Burger) würde ich mal als solide bezeichnen. Als Restaurant gibt es in Kiel bessere Lokationen. Laut Karte bietet das Brauhaus "bierbegleitende" Speisen an. War ein netter Aufenthalt.

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden, werden jeden zweiten Samstag extrem herzlich empfangen. Der Service ist besonders freundlich und engagiert. Besonders als zwei Frauen im Kieler Nachtleben möchten wir hervorheben, dass wir uns hier im Tom Kyle noch nie unsicher gefühlt haben. Insbesondere fällt uns hier eine Situation ein, als wir am Nachbartisch eine größere angetrunkene Männergruppe sitzen hatten - und mehrfach von Mitarbeitern gefragt wurden ob alles in Ordnung sei (was der Fall war - die Herren waren zwar betrunken aber freundlich). Trotzdem empfanden wir es als sehr aufmerksam, dass man uns, seitens des Personals, so im Blick hatte. Wir freuen uns auf viele weitere schöne Abende bei Euch!

Der Espresso war sehr lecker und es gab sogar ein Glas Wasser dazu. Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam und bediente sehr zügig und freundlich.

Der Service im Tom Kyle Altstadtbrauhaus könnte ein wenig besser werden, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich aber würde mir wünschen sie den des öfteren greifbar zu haben um etwas zu bestellen, dies war immer ein wenig schwierig! Das Essen war sehr lecker, ich hatte Tagliatelle mit lachs und Spinat, ich fand den Lachs und Spinat im essen ein bisschen zu wenig! Die Atmosphäre ist auf dem Alten Markt sehr gut !

Wir waren nur 2 Tage in Kiel und an beiden Abenden waren wir Gäste im Altstadtbrauhaus Tom Kyle. Wir glauben, das es in der wunderschönen Innenstadt von Kiel keine gemütlichere und angenehmere Location gibt. Das ganze Ambiente, die leckeren Speisen und Getränke und der ausgezeichnete Service haben uns sehr überzeugt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unsere nette Kellnerin Violet, die uns an beiden Abenden das Gefühl vermittelt hat, zu Hause zu sein. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür und behalte Deinen Optimismus, Deine nette Art und Deine Weltoffenheit. Dieses Restaurant verdient unsere höchste Bewertung. Weiter so!

Toll gelegen in der Altstadt, direkt neben der Kirche. Ich hatte als Vorspeise das Baguette Brot mit aioli, sehr zu empfehlen 👍🏼 als Hauptgang gab es die Penne funghi, frische Champignons und eine sehr leckere Sauce. Also ich kann es als Lokal weiter empfehlen, besonders wenn man von der Jahreszeit her draußen sitzen kann.

Das Essen und alle Getränke sind wirklich top, war dort mehrmals essen mit Freundinnen und es hat immer sehr sehr lecker geschmeckt, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr lieb, man bekommt direkt super Laune dort :) Kann ich jedem weiterempfehlen dort mal Essen zu gehen, war jedesmal ein toller Abend😋

War ganz spontan mit Freunden hier, es ist echt sehr entspannt hier. Das Essen war trotz vollem Laden sehr schnell da, der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Tolles Team, werde auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen.

Currywurst war gut, hätte aber größer sein können. Folienkartoffeln mit Quark und Salat. Die Folienkartoffeln waren so schlecht wie noch nie irgendwo zuvor.

Wunderschönes Ambiente, kann ich nur empfehlen. Essen Top. Service, kann man nichts sagen, einsame Spitze. Und die Getränke waren auch sehr sehr gut, die haben echt einen guten Barkeeper. Wundervolle Erfahrungen und gerne wieder!

Wir waren begeisterst . Obwohl der Laden und die Terrasse voll war, haben wir im Obergeschoss mit meinen Freunden Billiard gespielt . Wir durften oben Musik hören und Essen. Super Service und leckeres Essen. Gerne besuchen wir das Tom Kyle wieder .
