Wow just wow. A birthday meal here is absolutely worth it! There was a really nice surprise! Great service, nice people, delicious food, everything clean, cool robot! I absolutely recommend it!

Very nice staff and super delicious food ❤️ Update October 22, 2024: I've been here every time I've been to Düsseldorf and I'm still incredibly excited. The Nouko Shoyu Ramen is my absolute favorite and the mochi here (especially vanilla) is amazing. I can only recommend this restaurant ❣️

During my trip, when the Asian food craving hit, I decided to seek out ramen on a rainy day in Düsseldorf’s Little Tokyo. There are so many options! I walked in around 6 PM and was quickly seated at the solo eaters' table. Coming from Vancouver, I have high ramen standards, and this place did not disappoint. The broth was perfect, packed with umami, and the noodles were cooked just right. Delicious all around!

I ordered Jiro ramen with miso soup, the amount of bean sprouts was large, and the overall taste was okay. However, it has a bit of a spicy taste, so you need to be careful about this.

Foreigners rate it very highly, but The soup was not hot in the first place. The chicken topping was also cold. Not enough soup (personally) The clerk is also not feeling well. So, I didn't think it was worth paying 17 euros for a drink, and I personally don't understand what the people who gave high ratings were looking at.

We had two portions of the vegetarian miso ramen and both were delicious. Unfortunately, the ramen consisted of 35% sprouts, but we still enjoyed it. I also hope that the sprouts have health benefits and that we now have a week's supply of important vitamins

Great Japanese ramen 🍜 super tasty. The vegetarian ramen has lots of vegetables (bean sprouts) and is very filling, the portion is generous. Tokyo Ramen Takeichi is my favorite frame restaurant!! In Tokyo, that was also my favorite place to go.

A famous ramen shop with locations in Japan. You can eat chicken paitan ramen that is almost the same as in Japan. Many of the staff are Japanese, and the menu is written in Japanese. The rice was too soft.

Shoyo Ramen was very tasty. Large bowl with nori sheet, two pieces of chicken and ramen with a bite. The broth is very creamy and tasty. I think there are a lot of Japanese people eating there, which is always a good sign Even after lunchtime it was still very busy!! Will come back when I'm in Düsseldorf again!!

Very unfriendly, the waiter was very annoyed with us. When I asked why he was so annoyed (I spoke to him quite nicely), he said it was because our friends didn't speak German. After that he was gone. I still didn't understand what he meant.

The frame was not freshly prepared, probably large quantities are prepared in advance. The breaded chicken pieces were dripping with oil and the breading was very thick. Even then, I doubt that they were freshly prepared because they were lukewarm.

An entire dish was forgotten and we had to reorder it, as well as the second water bottle that we ordered, until we asked again after 10 minutes if it would come now, it didn't come. The waiter from whom we ordered the dish and the bottle didn't even apologize or say goodbye to us when we paid him. His service generally felt very cold and unwelcome, which was a shame because the other two waitresses were very nice and were courteous.

One of the better restaurants on this street. The Japanese local ones are consistently good to very good. The Korean ones also have everything from grottoes to poor to top class. I can highly recommend the frames here

We had actually made a reservation at the Korea House, but the air in the restaurant was so stuffy and full of smoke that we couldn't stand it. Good thing we were ignored for 30 minutes. We went here bathed in sweat and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was welcoming, the air was clean and the food was really tasty. Thank you very much, you saved our evening...

I ate here for the first time this afternoon and ordered this "Deluxe Miso" on the menu. The food was ready very quickly, the employees were very nice and I would definitely eat here again! This broth was simply unbeatably delicious and I can only recommend it, especially because it is relatively quiet compared to various ramen restaurants on Immermannstrasse and, above all, you don't have to wait in line for that long 👀☺️

I ordered miso ramen. It was very salty but I am a heavy eater. But the soup is very thick, a bit too thick The eggs are a bit overcooked. The meat should be chicken breast, not tender or woody. This costs 16.3 euros, which I personally think is average. But he can swipe the card (no limit on the amount)

This is the worst Ramen we have ever eaten. The meat is cold, the broth is as if from an instant package, half of the plate is sprouts. I do not recommend.

We wanted to try ramen away from the crowded Immermannstrasse and were able to sit down straight away. Menu arrived after a few minutes and the ramen we ordered was delivered quickly. The ramen was good, but I can only warn about the freshly squeezed drinks. 6.80 euros for a 0.3l glass of water and half a lemon to squeeze yourself seems like a rip-off to me, especially when there is Yuzu lemonade for 4.50 euros, for example.

The ramen tastes just as good as the ramen in Tokyo. We were so excited. The broth, the noodles and the topping are just great! I would travel to Düsseldorf just for this ramen. Just awesome

Spicy Karage was very hot, juicy just as you would hope 👍 Ramen were very well filled with side dishes, bases were both very tasty, we couldn't finish everything 😅 Service was quick and friendly.

Good location, friendly staff, shop is also nicely decorated. only the ramen cannot be compared with Takumi. Too much soy, soup doesn't taste that good either, chicken meat is just a piece of white meat.

We both had spicy miso with few pieces of karrage and gyoza. They were well prepared and served. I liked the right amount of spiciness of miso ramen and crunchyness of the side dishes we had.

The food is really tasty. We travelled from a far to try the food here. It did not disappoint. The prices were decent to the food quality. I believe the restaurant has 3 outlets and I am not sure about the difference between them. There was a long wait at the restaurant in Little Tokyo therefore we went here. The service is fast and the food food seems great. A good place for a date or meeting friends. I would recommend having the Chicken Gyoza along with the ramen of your choice. We had the spicy miso and the deluxe miso.

Despite the long waiting times, I would come here again. The food is inexpensive and you get good portions. Plus, it tastes extremely good and fresh!

The order was forgotten and after 20 minutes we had to wait at the table outside the shop for another 45 minutes. The fried chicken wasn't that tasty.

The customers' wishes are not taken into account, so for the ramen with pork you can't choose chicken instead, you just pay an extra €4 and don't replace it. So you are obliged to order the more expensive cream ramen if you want chicken. It's easy to tell from the food because the food is prepared and only warmed up. You have to pay extra for the egg in the chicken version, unlike the much cheaper ones with pork. Not worth it at all and tastes like egg mush left standing for 3 days. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and you felt like you were being watched. Without asking, the bill was quickly placed on the table (you feel rather unwanted). Really not recommended!!!

Waited a little long and unfortunately the chicken was cold and the pasta was undercooked. But the broth was very good on the tongue. But for almost 15€ a soup a bit disappointing. The bill was immediately placed on the table, the staff didn't even ask if we wanted to order anything else and the bill couldn't be split. Somehow we also felt a bit ignored.

If you find yourself in Düsseldorf, the most Japanese city in Germany, and you are a ramen enthusiast, this place is worth a visit. The number of Japanese patrons in the establishment assured me that I was in the right place. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely return before I leave.

Very nice Japanese Ramen place on the outskirts of the other typical ramen shops. The waiter we had didn't speak German, which was fine for us, but I think interesting to note! They seem to specialize more in chicken dishes, as the chicken shoyu ramen definitely tasted much better than the pork version. The broth of the non-chicken shoyu ramen was fairly fishy, from the bonito broth and it was also much oilier than from other places - however I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor of the noodles themselves and the variety of toppings! Price-wise I think this place is really decent for what you get! We also visited around 2pm and they had a curry special going on - for every ramen you could help yourself to a limitless buffet of rice + kare (non-veg & veg options)...this obviously is a big plus in terms of price/ offer ratio! All in all, I would recommend going here!

Tried Miso Deluxe ramen (chicken broth) and tartar kare age along with a pint of Nama Kirin beer.

I was staying in Europe for a long time and wanted to eat Japanese food around the year-end and New Year holidays, so I went here. I ordered ramen and fried chicken. I felt like I could barely eat the ramen. However, the staff's response was not good, and I felt like I should eat quickly and leave early, which made me feel bad. I'll probably never go there again.

I tried takoyaki here for the first time in my life. Only 6 euros for the taste of your dreams. The magazines are cool, the robots with trays politely let people through. By the way, there is no kitchen smell! Which is very important to me. Great cozy place ^_^

We got a spot straight away on Saturday evening. I can recommend the Deluxe Spicy Miso Ramen as it was not too spicy and not too mild.

The food eas mediocre, not a lot of flavor in the miso ramen, and aside from the noodles there were just 2 pieces of meat in the broth, no other toppings included. For 15 euros that's not what I expected. Service is so so, not great.

Wanted to have dinner a bit later on the evening and this restaurant came up as one of the few ramen places open until 10pm, winning! Staff is very friendly and above all genuine, not the forced kind of service. It was easy to get their attention. They were happy to recommend a sake. I went for the spicy miso ramen and it didn’t disappoint. Only thing to note was that the bamboo strips seemed a bit overcooked for my taste, but the juicy and tender chicken made me forget that quickly. In short, a much recommended ramen spot if you are looking also to get food in a bit later than usual, and great service with fresh miso ramen!

Excellent food ! 😋 I stayed in Japan for 6 years . Being vegetarian I could not find much options to eat in Japan. But this place is really amazing for vegetarian people with a great ambience.

My husband and I tried two ramen broths. The traditional one was nice and a bit more complex if you like fishy aftertaste (ingredients are written down, so no surprise there), but the chicken broth tasted literally just like boiled chicken. Both were ok, but for us, they felt more like a basic noodle soup than ramen. For the chicken karaage, they used the weirdest, gummiest pieces of chicken you could find - not really enjoyable to eat. The people were very nice and friendly, and we were served incredibly quickly. A bit of heating in the restaurant wouldn't hurt, but if you eat soup it gets better. All in all OK and better than some more hyped ramen restaurants, but not too much to our tastes. Don't go if you want a rich, complex broth with many spices. This is a different genre.

Very good ramen place. There is a large selection of different ramen. Vegan options are available, but these are listed as vegetarian as they are prepared in the same kitchen and there is no strictly separate vegan kitchen, but the ingredients are vegan. Portions are large and completely sufficient. The side dishes are also technically price-performance-friendly. Usually not as crowded as the ramen places on the main street, so you can plan on having a short wait most days. So far I haven't had to wait longer than 5/10 minutes.

I love Takeichi and eat there regularly. The food is amazing, but please bring back the previous type of pasta! I liked the smooth ramen noodles much better than the new, thicker and textured ones. 😊

The focus here is on the food - which is totally fine because it's really good. However, I would plan a cozy evening somewhere else as the ambience is classic for this type of restaurant.

Ramen 🍜 und Gyoza 🥟 waren sehr lecker. Die Takiyaki hätten allerdings krosser sein können. Der Service war top und unser Essen kam super schnell. Leider saßen wir direkt an der Tür und daher war es etwas zugig. Da wir aber anstehen mussten und keinen Tisch aussuchen konnten, war das leider nicht zu ändern. Würde dennoch wiederkommen. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden.

It is quite an authentic ramen. Super delicious. I‘ve ordered Miso Ramen with Chicken topping. In the beginning not so sure, but after one bite, it was the best chicken topping I’ve ever tried.

War kein guter Ramen. Für Düsseldorf enttäuschend. Wartezeit bis jemand ans Tisch kommt dauerte 25 Minuten. Preis günstiger als andere Läden allerdings.

In der Ramen-Szene scheint der in Düsseldorf beliebt zu sein und die Ramen sind ansich nicht schlecht aber vom Geschmack her nicht so überragend, dass ich es jedem empfehlen würde

Das essen war nicht toll aber ok. Wir haben aber sehr lange gewartet und dann auch noch das falsche Essen erhalten.

Leider sehr enttäuschend vom Service bis hin zum Essen. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, wären wir nicht hier her gekommen. Der Service war extrem unflexibel. Es war nicht möglich das Fleisch in der Suppe von Hühnchen zu Schwein zu tauschen, außer für 3,30 € extra, also den vollen Preis eines Toppings. Hühnchen kostet 3,10 €, also wären es nur 0,20 € Aufpreis gewesen. Einfach unverschämt, dann den vollen Preis berechnen zu wollen. Die Rechnung kann nicht getrennt bezahlt werden, die Gäste müssen also selbst sehen, wie sie das geregelt bekommen. So was habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Unfassbar. Die Vorspeisen kamen zeitversetzt, dazu ein Hauptgericht. Eine Person musste also danach zusehen wie der Rest von 3 Personen seinen Hauptgang gegessen hat. Die Ramen war nicht gut. Die Nudeln hatten eine merkwürdige gelbe Farbe, die Brühe auf Hühner Basis schmeckte nicht wie Ramen, sondern wie eine einfache deutsche Hühnersuppe, es waren wahnsinnig viele Zwiebeln und Sprossen als Einlage drin. Mir hat es gar nicht geschmeckt.
