La verdad decepción venir a comer carne un viernes a un restaurante de carne y que no tengan toda una decepción. El sitio es bonito pero uno ya sabe donde no volver para comer carne la verdad una decepción. Viajar tanto para llevarte esta desilusión.

Leider eine Katastrophe vom Essen her. 45min gewartet. Das Steak war statt medium durchgebraten und das vegetarische Essen lauwarm und das Gemüse fast roh noch dekoriert mit welkem Rucola. Beides zurückgehen lassen und neu machen lassen und man soll es kaum glauben beides genauso wiederbekommen nur neu wieder schlecht gekocht. Wir haben es dann aus Verzweiflung und Hunger gegessen. Auch der Geschmack war unterirdisch. Prozente beim Bezahlen bekommen. Das einzige Licht war der Service, die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und bemüht und kann nichts dafür, schließlich hat sie ja nicht gekocht. Ein Fazit für uns. Wir gehen dort nicht wieder hin. Für 60Euro einfach zu teuer und schlecht gekocht.

Hele grote plaats die van een keten is. Doet heel amerikaans aan. Prijzen zijn aan de duurdere kant. Wel alles superlekker. Bediening wat langzaam door de grote van het etablissement. Je mag blijkbaar ook niet zomaar plaatsnemen maar moet wachten op een zitje.

Wir zur Dritt zum Essen. 2 Personen hatten das Steak mit je 300g bestellt und einer das gleiche Steak mit 400g plus Beilagen und extra Saucen. Nach der Bestellung kam der Kellner wieder und sagt 300g hätten Sie nicht mehr. Wir sollten das Filetsteak nehmen. „Das schmeckt ähnlich“. Nach einer ganzen Weile kamen 2 Steaks, beide Englisch gebraten, obwohl medium bestellt. Das 3. Steak, die Beilagen und die Saucen kamen gar nicht. Auch nach Beschwerde beim Kellner nicht. Als wir den Geschäftsführer bemühten, kamen die Beilagen und noch später das 3. Steak. Mit den anderen beiden Steaks waren wir längst fertig… die Saucen kamen gar nicht. Als Entschädigung bekamen wir das 3. Steak kostenlos, sowie ein Dessert nach Wahl. Wir bestellten daraufhin 2x Waffeln und 1 Creme. Der Kellner kam aus der Küche und sagte „ Waffeln sind aus“. Der ganze Abend war eine Katastrophe. Auch die Beilagen waren halb roh. Und das für 136€!!! Wir werden bestimmt nicht wieder hingehen😡. Aber wir haben auch andere Gäste gesehen , die sichtlich unzufrieden waren (Essen und Service).

Das Timberjacks haben wir nun zum zweiten Mal besucht und sind beide Male einfach nur begeistert. Das Zimmer hat eine angenehme Größe, ist in Holz und dunkel gehalten, mit einer beruhigenden Ambiente-Beleuchtung. Es ist sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Das Restaurant hat eine beeindruckende Bar mit riesigem Bildschirm darüber. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen kam schnell und war super lecker. Geschmacklich kann ich absolut nichts aussetzen... Eine klare Empfehlung für das Timberjacks in Kassel.

Das Essen war super.Die Vorspeise Mozzarella Sticks mit Aioli sauce war lecker.Das Steak Medium mit grauen Rand uns innen rosa genau wie mein Sohn und ich es lieben.Die Bratkartoffeln waren auch gut und das Gemüse durch.Der Nachtisch eine Bananencreme war auch lecher.Der Kellner war zuvorkommend und höflich .War ein gelungener Abend in einem schönen Ambiente.

Mal wieder längere Wartezeiten am Empfang, um an seinen reservierten Platz gebracht zu werden. Anschliessend eigtl eine nette Kellnerin gehabt, aber zum Ende hin war sie unprofessionell. Mein Partner hatte ein Steak (alleine das Steak kostet über 50€!!) er wollte es gerne Medium haben. Nach 40 Minuten Wartezeit kam ein trockenes Steak, welches komplett durch war. Er hat es mit Soßen gegessen, weil wir nicht wieder 40 Minuten warten wollten und er dann schlussendlich alleine isst. Das arme Tier ist 2x gestorben. Die Kellnerin fragte nach dem Essen, ob es geschmeckt hat, nach unserer Antwort sagte sie nur: ah ok. Keine Entschuldigung oder Ähnliches. Ich bin selbst in der Gastro und diese Reaktion geht gar nicht! Die Kette wird immer größer und die Qualität schlechter, Preise reden wir gar nicht drüber! 1 Burger und ein Steak mit 2 Beilagen und Soßen sowie 2 Getränke = 120€!! Wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Im Vorfeld über das Internet einen Tisch bestellt. Hat super geklappt. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr groß, und man muss die Karte echt "studieren" um sich ein optimales Essen zusammen zu stellen. Der Geschmack war sehr gut.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Service war auch gut. Mein dritter Besuch und ich werde jedes Mal enttäuscht. Das Essen hat leider nicht geschmeckt. Der Smash Burger war knorpelig und trocken . Am besten war die Gewürz Gurken und die Pommes.

Der eine Punkt ist für die Bedienung und das Ambiente. Gemüse war mehr als Roh und geschmacklos Tendorlion war so zäh wie eine Schuhsohle und kalt ganz zu schweigen von den Sehnen Über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet Waren das erste aber auch das letze Mal da, schade!!!

Habe für eine Nacht ein Zimmer gebucht und im Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und zum Stil passend eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal im dazugehörigen Restaurant (Steakhouse) war freundlich und flexibel. Das Essen super in Geschmack und Größe der Portion. Nach einem reichhaltigen Frühstück am nächsten Morgen und dem Auschecken um 11:30 Uhr hätten wir am liebsten gleich wieder eingecheckt.

The restaurant was very busy when I visited. It took a very long time to receive the order. After another long wait, the ordered dish found its way to the guest, although unfortunately it was only lukewarm when it arrived. The taste was good, but it probably would have been better hot. Unfortunately, it took a few attempts to find a waitress who would do the billing.

Great location, impressive restaurant! Service is good, most of the employees are friendly! But …… The burger is by far (!!!) the worst burger I have ever eaten! (16€!!!!) Fart dry, paddys totally done, you had to look for sauce and the cheese was also strange, unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. Better to go to a place that can do burgers - Five guys for example!!!

This time I didn't eat a steak, but a really tasty burger. That was once again a real treat. The control panel was very attentive, always asking if everything was okay, if there was anything else I wanted, etc. Almost a bit too much 😉 But it was a great evening. Important: book a table in advance, it was very full, but not a long wait.

Anastasia served us wonderfully, it was a celebration of our wedding anniversary to receive such kind care. The food is fantastic and very American. The prices correspond to the quality and we would be happy to come back for special occasions :)

Stylish furnishings with a large screen, which is a bit distracting but still fits in very well. There was almost too much choice when it came to food, but everything sounded good. Definitely not the wrong choice for a restaurant visit!

Super tasty, great service, proud price

Great restaurant, mega selection, great staff. We ate two burgers and a portion of fries. The meat was fried really well, the fries were really tasty. One star deducted because of the price. For a small portion of fries, 5.40 euros is really steep. We paid just under 65 euros for two people with two drinks each, ok with a cocktail and no standard burgers but not cheap. Parking on site is well regulated. Be sure to reserve in advance!!!

What a great restaurant the food ,staff and atmosphere was great. My family and I went for dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be back. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Fantastic American cuisine with many burger variations, ribs, pulled, many small pans with colorful all sorts, even more sauces and a huge aging cabinet for dry-aged beef in a wide variety of cuts, an almost endless selection of dessert variations, cocktails and one extensive wine list. The whole thing in a spacious log cabin, very friendly - especially very fast - staff and on Thursday there is also live music!!!

Had breakfast only, impressive and great location, friendly staff. 4 stars only because the meat on the fried eggs and avocado beef plate was fried dry and poorly seasoned and we had some dirty cutlery. Still enjoyed our meal and had a good time, just not as perfect as expected especially on mother's day. Recommended.

Always an eye-catcher, the Timberjacks. Even without a reservation we got a table on Saturday evening. The waitress was super friendly and very attentive, so the evening started off really well. The food also tasted really tasty.

We had fun taking a look here... spacious and exciting atmosphere. The shake was terrible, just sweet syrup with room temperature cream ice cream, decorated with colorful sugar sprinkles. The steak was very good...the only no go was: no toilet paper for the ladies.

From the motel to the restaurant, everything was perfect. The room was super clean and really well furnished. The restaurant is an event. The food and drinks were great. Doneness levels met. The waitresses were super friendly and accommodating. We are looking forward to the next time

The menu was extensive BUT the food was delicious. We were a family of 5 adults and 5 children and there was something on the menu for us all to enjoy. In addition to it being an accommodating restaurant, it was also RIGHT OFF the highway making it a perfect stop on a four hour trip south.

Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. I found value for money absolutely fine. There is also an extra “card” for the kids that they can color with the colored pencils provided. Attention is paid to details here. Starts with the cutlery bags (thick paper, a thick napkin) and engraved knives... ends in the toilet with background music and natural ambience. It's certainly good to sit outside in the summer, but unfortunately it's on a main road, so only 3 stars for the location

Eating out at Timberjacks was truly an experience - the ambiance is fantastic and the burger and fries were so, so good. The cheesecake is also really recommended, I have never tasted such a creamy cheesecake! Reservations are definitely recommended, the restaurant was really busy.

Nice restaurant, great ambience and good food. Service staff were hardly present during lunchtime (approx. 15% capacity of the restaurant with 4 service staff). Cards were simply thrown on the table and we looked for and got a high chair for the toddler ourselves. Food was perfect! Payment was made by card and before I could put my tiny card holder in my bag and dig around in my wallet for cash for a tip, the waitress asked me why I wasn't leaving a tip. This has never happened to me in my entire life, where a waitress purrs at me for a tip. What kind of behavior is this??? I hadn't even gotten up from my chair or moved away from the table. I asked her if she needed the tip so boldly that she addressed the guests so boldly. Tip for the waitress: You also have to be present with the guest and perhaps come to the table a third or fourth time, but just taking the order and then collecting it is actually not encouraging for tips. My husband only had one small drink and would have liked one or two more. Smiling at guests and walking past them is just as bad. Maybe ask if everything is okay, the guest would be very happy. Now to clarify... I always and always tip. The amount depends on the friendliness and flexibility of the service staff. What happened to me that day shocked me so much that you received nothing from me. Your statement that you have to give 3% to the kitchen didn't make the conversation any better. Their escape to the kitchen was the best thing they could and did do that afternoon.

The atmosphere is generally very cool! Log cabin style. Unfortunately, the staff is mostly overwhelmed, the food is no longer great and the prices are excessive. Unfortunately, the menu is not well suited for people with intolerances.

I ordered a pulled chicken burger here. The burger was great, I've never had one that good. We immediately got a table for 2 people here without a reservation. The staff is also very friendly. I can only recommend this shop!

We were just in the restaurant . I like the decor . The burger was very good and tasty but the taco was swiming in the oil i did not enjoy it. Mozerella sticks were so yummy but the service person did not wait us to choose a sauce !!!

We booked the suite and were very happy overall. We can highly recommend it! It also has a really nice charm and is something completely different than a classic hotel, both in terms of style and food! Simply great! This used to be an impressive restaurant. Rustic with lots of wooden trunks and also with a suitable ambience around it. The Big Daddy Burger with French Fries was an experience. Everything is fresh, cooked just right for me and served in style. Speaking of service. He was very attentive and friendly. Really great, would be happy to come back any time. But a reservation makes sense.

The trip had to be canceled at very short notice due to a death. Of course, Timberjack's didn't understand this and charged the full price. Without any goodwill......!!! Big cinema !!!

We went there to eat with a larger group. Ambience very interesting. Menu is very rich with American dishes. Service is very friendly. In times of digitalization, just a card payment device is not so good. This leads to very long waiting times when paying. The dishes are all very rich and delicious. It's always best to reserve a table. Will definitely come back.

Wow! Great ambiance! We came from the Netherlands, but had not reserved or booked. luckily there was a table available. We also wanted to stay the night, but there were no more rooms available, I was told at the desk. We had a delicious meal. the choice is huge! While eating I looked for a hotel room nearby. Then it turned out on a well-known booking site that a room was available at Timberjacks after all. We were amazed at the room. What an atmosphere! We enjoyed ourselves with a capital G!

Its a fantastic dining experience with a lot to offer. Steaks are so huge and worth the price. There are a lot on the menu to choose from. Food is served hot, everything we tried so far are worth it (our third visit by the way). Huge place with more than 100 eating capacity. Great service, staff are well trained and polite. Definitely the best restaurant in Kassel. There is a freebie if you have kids with you.

The service staff is very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, it can't be helped by the poor cuisine. The fries were cold and unsalted. We had to give our food back because it was also cold. We got our plates back, which were warm afterwards, but also crusty (shoved under the salamander). We couldn't eat it because it was just a lump and not pulled pork. We learned from the service staff that there have been frequent complaints for about 6 months. We didn't have to pay for the food. It's a shame, the atmosphere is great, but we'll look for somewhere else to eat

The shop is visually a feast for the eyes. On the weekend you should reserve early as it is usually fully booked. The food tastes good but is not extremely exceptional. The service employees are all very friendly. Unfortunately, it is usually the case that something from the order is missing when it is served. Especially with larger groups. Overall, I like going there and can recommend visiting there.

We were only in the restaurant and didn't have an overnight stay. This is all about the food. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the food is too expensive or appropriate for someone. We were there for dinner on Saturday March 23rd, 2024. I had reserved a table in good time. After a short wait at reception, we were brought to our table. We had set our reservation for 5 p.m. The restaurant was already full by then. Ms. Anastasia Neugebauer was responsible for our area (thank God). After ordering drinks and food, we waited patiently for our food (drinks came quickly), but we had to wait over an hour to eat. My wife and I both come from the catering industry and know that preparation takes time, but please don't spend an hour for four meals. We all ate either steak or fillet. All dishes were cooked medium rare. This has not been achieved in any court. I'm happy to pay more for good food, but I was super disappointed here. The Filet Mignot (200g, €33.90) for my mother was almost done, the Filet Steak (300g, €43.90) for my wife was also past medium cooking point, and my son's TriTip Steak (300g, €29 .90€) almost through. They even screwed up my strip loin steak (600g €50.90) twice. Too much the first time and after my complaint I was served a new steak which was almost raw. But since I didn't want to complain again, since everyone else was finished by now and the second steak took 20 minutes, we were very disappointed with the food overall, especially at such prices. If it wasn't for your employee, Ms. Anastasia Neugebauer, we would almost certainly not be coming back. You can be lucky to have such a great employee in your company. She took great care of us, was always present, always attentive, super friendly and always gave the impression that she really enjoyed her job. We are planning to come back to Kassel in May (we live on Lake Constance). Maybe Timberjacks has a surprise in store for us after our negative experiences. I would be very happy to receive feedback from Timberjacks Kassel.

Restaurant is not recommended for me. You can't pre-order food by phone, then you wait forever for service even though the store is empty. Sweet potato fries were mushy and burgers were topped with 2 meatballs, even though it was expressly stated that you only wanted one meatball. So half of the burger ended up in the trash and it only tasted like a dry meatball. All at an overpriced price.

Price/performance ratio is simply not right. I gave the store three chances and three times the steak wasn't cooked to the desired level. Shouldn't happen in a steak shop like that. Very disappointing, the ambience doesn't cut it. You can definitely get better steaks elsewhere!

Vor kurzem waren wir zu Gast bei Timberjacks in Kassel. Service: Der Service hier war durchschnittlich. Dies soll aber keineswegs heißen, dass der schlecht war, jedoch sollte man eine dementsprechende Bedienung auch von einem so hochdekorierten Gasthaus erwarten. Speisen: Da ist plante das 600g Ribeye Steak zu verspeisen, enthielt ich mir der Wahl einer Vorspeise. Hier gibt es jedoch eine gute Auswahl. Die Teller meiner Nebenleute sah gut aus. Zu besagtem Steak gab es Parsnip fries (dt.: Pastinakenpommes) mit Creamy Peppercorn, was eine äußerst leckere cremige Pfeffersoße mit Whiskey und Ahornsirup. Das Gesamtpaket dieses Menus passte einfach. Fleisch zart, perfekt gebraten, lecker. Mehr kann man hier schon gar nicht sagen, es war schlichtweg gut. Auch die von mir als Nachspeise gewählten Mozzarella Sticks überzeugten. An Getränken gibt es Allerlei, jedoch nicht zu viel. Ich entschied mich für das lokale Kellerbier. Treffer. Ambiente: Das Ambiente stellt wohl das Steckenpferd des Lokals dar. Wahnsinnig schöne Einrichtung. Selbst die liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung der Toilettenräumlichkeiten lud zum Verweilen ein. Viel gibt es hier auch nicht mehr zu sagen. Einfach eine der schönsten Einrichtungen, die ein Restaurant haben kann. Preis-/Leistung: Natürlich sind die Preise höher, was einem vor einem Besuch jedoch bewusst sein sollte. 50,90€ für ein 600g ist O.K., aber ohne Beilage. Auch die Preise anderer Speisen waren erhöht. Wie bereits gesagt muss bei der Kette „Timberjacks“ jedoch einfach damit gerechnet werden. Somit kann man hier m.M.n. das Preisleistungsverhältnis als „gut“ bezeichnen, für das was man geboten bekommt. *Bonus!*: Immer wieder gibt es Live-Events im „Timberjacks,“ wie wie Live-Musik. Auch der elektrische Bulle lädt Groß und Klein zum Bullenreiten ein. Offiziell ist dies ab 19:00 Uhr möglich, auf Nachfrage jedoch, ist dies dank der netten Servicekräfte auch früher möglich! Fazit: Ein Besuch bei „Timberjacks“ in Kassel lohnt sich einfach. Wer sich wie in einem „Steakhouse“ in den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika oder wie in Kanada fühlen möchte, ist hier ganz richtig. Bei erstem Besuch wird man nahezu überwältigt von der schönen Einrichtung. Essen, worum es hier ja auch primär gehen sollte (!), ist super. Mit dem erhöhten Preis muss man rechnen. Ich würde diese Stube immer wieder besuchen und kann sie jedem nur weiterempfehlen!

I was “only” in the restaurant, but for a moment I felt like I was in Wyoming or Montana. Service was excellent as was the steak and the American waffle dessert. If you're looking for something different, you can find it here 😉

Ambience beautiful. Food is super delicious! But wait 1 hour? That's pretty intense. If it were full I would have understood. An annoyed waiter! It doesn't work at all!!!! And waited 20 minutes for the bill! That doesn't work either!!!

This is about the steakhouse and I can highly recommend it. You can hardly prepare steak better. The Cologne branch can get a few tips.

There were four of us in the restaurant and we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Of course you pay more money for such an extraordinary ambience and courteous service. Yes, we waited longer. But it was worth it. Those who don't mind go back, the others just don't!

The rooms are great, you've rarely found a better cabin feeling. The food is not necessarily healthy, but very tasty. Staff also very friendly… So why not 5 stars, but just one? Absolutely underground customer support. Unfortunately, despite notification, the business address was forgotten on the invoice and I struggled in vain to correct it, even after 5 (!) telephone and written contacts, no help or response. Of course, that leaves a very bad aftertaste and I can't really recommend the hotel for business travelers. It's a shame.

All I can say is amazing, super tasty food, great service, what more could you want? The service is great, what these bars are, I have respect for them. Keep it up, you're great

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant, Location und Essen einfach Exorbitant. Ein ganz großes Lob an die Bedienung Anastasija, die Ihren Job fantastisch macht. Sehr lieb, aufmerksam, höflich und sehr zuvorkommend. Sie dürft ihr in diesem Lokal nicht verlieren!

Hello and have a nice good day. We were at Timberjacks on March 9th, 2024, there were a total of 5 people there. We were there on Saturday without a reservation! And the nice lady made it possible for us to get a table. We were extremely impressed with the first impression. It was clean and the atmosphere was great. The design of the location is outstanding. We ordered 4 burgers and a steak. It was to be assumed that it would take a long time for our order to arrive. But it was not so. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes. Which was completely ok in such a busy store. The burgers and steak were delivered exactly as ordered. We were all thrilled. Everything tastes round and balanced. I was able to try everything and was thrilled with every meal. The sauces were super delicious. What really blew me away was the herb butter on the steak 😍 I tried many restaurants in Kassel, but Timberjacks exceeded (my) expectations. The service was great and friendly. Prices a bit expensive but ok. Ambiance ***** Service ***** Cleanliness ***** Eat ***** Price-performance ***** I will definitely come back and try other things.
