The service is attentive and friendly, and the ambiance is quaint and unique. (For a chain like this) It's a bit more expensive, but absolutely recommended for a special evening.

We were guests there with a larger group (60 people) and I was absolutely thrilled. Everything was perfect. The preliminary discussions were simple and uncomplicated, the implementation went smoothly and the service was absolutely excellent. I have never experienced such friendly and attentive employees. The food was very good.. 5 points… Nevertheless, I would think it would be very nice if the employees didn't eat their fries before the food was served (there are breaks and a lounge for that), then licked their fingers in the dining room and, because the doorbell just rang, took the plates straight away and brought them to the guest. It's a shame, hygiene sends its regards. It would also be desirable if the staff knew the ingredients of their products: Question: Which desserts are lactose-free products? Answer: What is it?

Food was great. We found the service to be rather unfriendly. But maybe that's also supposed to be the cool, relaxed style.

No overnight stay. Restaurant visit only. Very stylish and authentic. It's a bit reminiscent of Texas Roadhouse in the USA. For us - on the return journey from Wolfsburg to the Westerwald - perfectly located. half way. lush parking lot; Charging station opposite at a car dealer. So far: a 10 out of 10 for us It was packed that evening. If you get there half an hour early and have to wait... no problem. BUT: I am 98% sure that guests without reservations got a place straight away. maybe emergency places... in the waiting area. They weren't even offered to us. we would have gratefully accepted it. (No rating as only 98% certain). The wait for food was already long. Sponge over it. Porterhouse steak 700 gr (must have been the raw weight).. difficult to fry.. but well done... great quality. Sweet potato fries are great. Mashed potatoes...probably powdered and pimped with a lot of butter. It was tasty... but that could be better given the price level. Super awesome Snickers shake and very, very good American cheesecake for dessert. Overall still 4 stars. Definitely (even if at a different location) again.

I visited Timberjacks as part of a Boss Hoss concert. The ambience is amazing. It's one of the adventure restaurants. If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely go there. 👍😊 Kannada sends its regards.

The Timberjacks in Kassel is really impressive – the building looks impressive even from the outside. Inside you can expect a great atmosphere with a cozy and stylish ambience, definitely a 10/10. The selection of food is huge, and the steaks in particular were really good - well prepared and to the point. The breakfast, especially the selection, is sensational. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. Overall, a great restaurant with a unique flair. Likewise the incredibly beautiful and spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds. Very cozy atmosphere. Can only be recommended!

If you're looking for authenticity, you've come to the right place. Log cabin, very Canadian/American, decorated down to the last detail. Simply to feel good. You can wait in front of a fireplace, the seats are all very attractive, there is a delicious smell in the air, the presentation of the food is simply great and the taste is really great.

The price-performance ratio is excellent, and above all, the quality is truly top-notch. I can only recommend anyone who's in the area to visit the store. Keep up the good work, you're the best!

The service deserves 5 stars. Very friendly and attentive. The food, on the other hand, was unfortunately rather average. The burger was completely soggy and already soggy, almost cold. The beans were dry, but the fries were very tasty. The milkshake for dessert was completely smeared and almost overflowing; it looked very unappetizing; the expensive cake was artificially frozen. For the prices, you expect a bit more... What we didn't like at all was the ambiance. The spotlights above the tables are poorly aligned; you're constantly blinded. The music is much too loud for my liking. In the dining room in front of the bar, you're constantly being flickered by a screen measuring approximately 4x12 meters. After a while, it just got annoying, and we left the restaurant feeling stressed out. Sorry, but I don't need to go there again.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food is simply poor. The service consists of partly untrained staff. If you still end up in this shop, you should stay away from the steaks and the side dishes! I haven't been this disappointed in a long time - especially since the log cabin is really impressive.

Overall, an unforgettable experience that we would gladly repeat. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this special accommodation!

Very friendly staff. Despite the large number of guests, the accompaniment was good and you could have a good chat. Great vegetarian offering for a very meat-heavy restaurant. Price-performance wasn't right for me. Vegetarian burger without side dish and a 0.5L non-alcoholic beer for €20. Burger almost cold, just tasted like a big pile of burger sauce and was average size. Visually, the place is very special and exciting, but a style that is too dark for me.

Very, very nice ambience… great selection, even for me as a vegetarian… rarely such nice service staff… in Kassel, Anastasia and Maria served us… both of them were great, as was the gentleman at the counter.. first time there but definitely not the last time… gladly again

When I wanted to order a tomahawk, I was told that all bone-in steaks were reserved for employees - so I ordered an entrecote medium rare and got the sole of the shoe well done. The second dish was a burger that was average at best, but the prices were like in a premium restaurant - after the disappointment, we just wanted to pay and leave. It took about half an hour before we even got our hands on a waitress who just said I'm not responsible for you, so we asked him to let the person in charge know that we wanted to pay... we still had to pay We pointed it out twice and waited another 45 minutes until we were finally allowed to pay and leave... I absolutely don't understand how this shop gets any good reviews, the food is average, the service is totally incompetent and the chef isn't even able to cook a steak to the desired cooking point.. I was there for the first and last time and I can only advise everyone against this shop

Stayed in the motel for one night, the room is really nice. The facility is very impressive. Of course we also had dinner and breakfast the next day. Service really great. The employees were very nice and accommodating. It's incredibly delicious. Will definitely come back!

We ate here with six adults. And it was wonderful here. The staff were extremely friendly, the food is of very good quality, the price/performance ratio is ok and the ambience is really unique. Someone really put a lot of effort into this. We would be happy to come back, the rating refers to the gastronomy

The pastrami burger is a revelation!!!!

Went there twice to eat and stayed overnight once. Overnight stay was perfect and very nicely furnished rooms, highly recommended. The first time we ate, everything was fine and the food tasted great. On the second visit we had high expectations and were deeply disappointed. First we stood for 10 minutes. In the entrance with no attention and hardly any occupancy. When we asked the service employee, we were brought to our seat in a grim mood. We had to take care of a children's chair ourselves because the gentleman apparently didn't think it was necessary to ask for it, despite the stroller and the child in his arms. Apart from the fact that he rushed ahead, threw the cards on the table and moved on. We then sat down with the child and briefly considered whether we would actually stay. Nobody came during that time and so we left in a bad mood because we lost all appetite in that short time. Maybe we'll give it another chance. But the last visit was the complete opposite of the first.

Yesterday we were in the restaurant with 10 people and it was perfect. Service great, fast, attentive. Everyone had their food at the same time and the steaks were “on point”. You have to be able to do THAT first. Thumbs up to the kitchen and service, the interaction was perfect. Great people, great food, great atmosphere. Thanks to Timberjacks and your team ❤️

This is a very American style restaurant. I didn't stay in a room, but I could imagine for a night out there I would be interested to do so. It's really a venue type place as well. What surprised me was the aged meat they had. I would say things are a little on the pricy side, but the quality was there to make it ok. I'll look forward to another visit and hope to see a musical act there someday.

The food is rather mediocre, whereas the ambiance is great. There's definitely room for improvement in the food, and some of the staff have been retrained.

Good morning. I like to eat out and drink cocktails... But seriously, what I get here is sometimes shameful. You're happy to pay for the ambience, but not a cocktail for 9€ where I take out the ice cubes and there's just 2cl in there.... And there's more decko in it than the contents. Some of the food was good. But for the shrimp, for example, I pay €15. Where I don't expect 6 small cocktail shrimps lying carelessly in the large wooden bowl.... You have to change something about that. The ambience is great and the service is great too. But the food needs to be optimized just like the drinks. Kind regards to the tattooed people.

As in Göttingen, great team and delicious food, but unfortunately for larger quantities the food only arrived lukewarm.

Went to celebrate a Birthday dinner, place is well designed, easy to find, comfortable parking, great choices of food on the menue, and food was great along with very good service, we really enjoyed and we will be back.

We stayed here. Rooms were very stylish and exceptional, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. Evaluating the restaurant differently every day depends on which staff one day is really top, fast, friendly and accommodating, other days, well. The food is always great.

Spent Friday afternoon at Timberjacks. The food was very, very good! I had a truffle burger and mozzarella sticks. The sauces were very good and the meat from the burger was fried perfectly. We'd love to come back. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

The ambience is awesome. I had a burger, unfortunately I had to wait over an hour for the burger even though the place wasn't full. And then the burger was just standard. There is a burger delivery service that makes burgers where you say wow. That's what I was missing here.

My salad was perfect. I had a keto salad with grilled chicken by my customer had a steak which I found it really small. The Kräuter butter which came with the steak was in the same size as the steak. But the salad portion was big and nutritious

Subterranean if you're hoping for a good steak. Being able to serve a steak that isn't perfectly cooked for 45 euros is sad. Waited forever for food and drink. It was hard to speak to the waiter and in the end he didn't care whether you came back because it wasn't his shop (original sound)

The lady at the reception was also busy selling merch, so we had to wait a bit. Our waitress was very nice but couldn't make up for the rest. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good. The steaks were cold and everything else was only lukewarm. The pulled beef with an unpleasant aftertaste. The ambience is great, but unfortunately the rest is not. The kitchen employees should probably all go through another hygiene training course on how to handle food. If I had taken a look into the kitchen before eating, we probably would have left.

Service staff was great. The BBQ was disappointing across the board. Already in the entrance area you can take a look at what appears to be perfect dry aged meat. Unfortunately, it appears to be served incorrectly prepared. We came to the BBQ special on a Wednesday: the beef brisket in particular was completely fried, dry and inedible. The remaining meat was just fine, but was also “in there far too long”. I doubt there are BBQ experts working in the kitchen. The waitress took up our complaint and the boss gave us a portion of burnt ends on the house as compensation. Unfortunately, these were also bone-hard and dry. Even the sauce couldn't save it. It's a shame, because it all looked as if the meat had been very good at one time, but had then been forgotten in the hot pan.

We had dinner there after our team's away game against the Kassel Huskies. The atmosphere was very good, but I was happy that we were sitting away from the crowd in a niche with around 8 tables. The online reservation showed full in the afternoon but we were still able to reserve a spot by phone. The selection is very large. I chose Fajitas Surf&Turf (Beef). The prices seem high (I come from a small town, perhaps there is no comparison), but the portion was generous enough to fill even me as a good eater. The taste was great! There were never long waiting times and the waiter was very attentive. If I'm in Kassel again, I'll be happy to come back!

This time we made reservations for 10 people. Once again the burgers were lukewarm/cold. Two out of 10 people got no food and the wrong food. The preparation again took so long that the others were finished. The first drink was partially drunk while waiting for the food, there was nothing new for a long time. You were left high and dry. 4 pieces of broccoli and 4 pieces of cauliflower for €8.90 and cold burgers for €15-18 without a side dish are no longer justified. The ambience is enticing, but unfortunately the food doesn't live up to expectations.

Very confusing menu, supplements very expensive. Service was nice, but not that attentive. Had to wait a long time for the 2nd drink and later for the bill. Fries were cold... Overall rather expensive. We don't have to go there again.

Simply bad concept. Waiters are overwhelmed, too busy, I moved from the bar to a table because the chairs were so far from the bar that I couldn't reach the food. Reminded the waiter 3 times and got assured only to receive the food from another waiter with the words I was looking for you all over the place. The meat arrived well done instead of medium rear. When the new steak arrived it was medium not MR and cold. Very disappointed never again.

Hallo wir waren gestern Abend im ti Timberjack Kassel essen wir hatten verschiedene Speisen dreimal die Rinderrippe die es nur mittwochs gibt. Einmal Hamburger. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit den Speisen von der Qualität vom Gewürz und der Service war super.

Wir hatten am 21.01.2025 einen Tisch für 12 Personen reserviert. Grund war eine kleine Familienfeier. nach dem wir ca 15 Minuten auf dem Platzanweiser gewartet hatten ging es doch mit den Getränkebestellung ziemlich schnell. sicherlich hatten wir eine ziemlich große Bestellung aufgegeben. Nach ca einer Stunde wurde geliefert. Ich hatte mir ein 300 g Ribey-Steak betstellt. Meiner Meinung nach war das kein Ribey-Steak sondern ein Flankensteak total kalt.Nach meiner Nachfrage beim Kellner wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es bei Medium so wäre. Kellner sprach kaum deutsch. Ich hatte ihn gebeten mir das Steak noch mal zu erwärmen. Nach 3 Minuten kam er wieder mit dem Steak zurück. Dieses mal war es nur handwarm. Da ich großen Hunger verspürte habe ich es gegessen. Ich bin 70 Jahre aber so ein zehes Steak habe ich noch nie verspeist. Ich jedenfalls werde so ein Lokal nie wieder aufsuchen.

The atmosphere is really great, the staff are all friendly and service-oriented. However, the food wasn't convincing at all and with the prices you also pay for the ambience. Conclusion: Once you've tried it, you don't need to do it again, as there are much better steakhouse or burgerhouse chains.

Das Ambiente Timberjack Kassel des Restaurants ist schon alleine einen Besuch wert - wirklich eine tolle Location. Wovon ich abrate, ist der Verzehr von Steaks - davon haben die keine Ahnung - Beispiel: Rumpsteak ohne Fettrand! Wäre in den USA unmöglich. Aber der aufgegangene Fleischspieß ist ein Attraktion. Fleisch auch nicht vom Gourmet, aber die Zusammenstellung ist Klasse. Alles in Allem auf jeden Fall sehenswert !!

I've never been to the hotel before but the restaurant is great!! We travel from Bielefeld and have always been very satisfied. Great atmosphere, delicious food, nice staff, great atmosphere, parking is great. Arrival was always fine. Definitely recommended! It would be cool to have a restaurant in Bielefeld too ☺️

The food is great and well worth the price, drinks are a little more expensive, but from 9 p.m. it's happy hour where non-alcoholic drinks are available. Larger glasses are available at no extra charge

Always a great break at the Timberjacks Motel Kassel. Sensational accommodation, exceptional and special. A visit to the restaurant is also a culinary experience in a very special ambience with a lot of charm. Absolutely worth seeing and recommended!

Sehr enttäuschender Besuch… Da kann die Location noch so beeindruckend sein. Über so schlechtes Essen hilft das auch nicht hinweg. Massiv lange auf das Essen gewartet. Das 400g Entrecote welches doch sehr klein für seine (400g) gewesen ist vollkommen umsonst gestorben. Es war faserig und dröge. Von saftigkeit keine Spur. Das einzig positive ist gewesen, dass wir dafür nur 50 % zahlen mussten. Die Mac and Cheese wurden mit einer Art Fleischmarmelade serviert. Wenn das so muss okay aber mein Geschmack war es nicht. Es war schon sehr süß und ähnelt einem Dessert. Um einen anderen Geschmack in den Mund zu bekommen hatten wir uns noch Eis in der Waffel zum mitnehmen bestellt. Das Eis haben wir dann auch gleich schon auf dem Parkplatz geschmissen weil es ungenießbar gewesen ist! Abgesehen davon, dass ein Gast neben das WC geschissen hat ist die lokation sauber und Beeindruckend. Das Personal gibt sein bestes und ist bemüht.

Simply bad. You pay 90% for the ambience. We were lucky enough to have a friendly and honest waiter, hence the 1 star. The food is inferior. The meat we had minced meat steak and potatoes vegetables cocktails from the machine just plain limp and cheap salads everything. It was all of the lowest quality. So much potential for nothing. There are also arrogant waiters, as always just weak for Kassel but unfortunately normal.

This was my second time eating here with my family and I was very disappointed with both visits. The ambience is great, the service was very attentive and always polite. However, the long waiting times for both drinks and food got on our nerves; Sometimes almost 1 hour. I ordered a different steak on both visits. I have to say, in both cases I have NEVER eaten such a bad and almost inedible steak. The quality of the meat is not even close to the prices charged in-house. There are far better restaurants in Kassel that offer better steaks at cheaper prices, and the other dishes were also just average. I won't be coming back because you pay a lot of money here just for the ambience, but unfortunately you get the lowest quality food and drinks.

We met up with our work colleagues here in the evening to end the day and I would do that here again at any time. The ambience is great, the food is excellent and the service is quick and friendly. Clear food recommendation: Steak from the Dryage cupboard. All in all it was a successful evening but we didn't miss anything. If we are nearby we will definitely come back!

The rooms and the restaurant are fascinating. Everything is nice and clean and the waitresses are all very nice and helpful. We really enjoy coming here and feel very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, delicious food...

Rarely have I had such lousy service as I did the other day. The main entrance was locked even though there were people inside. So you go in through the side entrance. The shop was hardly full, there were endless tables available (obviously when the door is closed) We were asked to take a seat in the entrance area - it would take a while. After 20 minutes nothing happened - 3/4 of the tables were still free. The service staff were unresponsive. We then left without having accomplished anything. Really a shame.
