It tasted very good, friendly staff, it's always a pleasure to eat there.

We met up with our work colleagues here in the evening to end the day and I would do that here again at any time. The ambience is great, the food is excellent and the service is quick and friendly. Clear food recommendation: Steak from the Dryage cupboard. All in all it was a successful evening but we didn't miss anything. If we are nearby we will definitely come back!

The rooms and the restaurant are fascinating. Everything is nice and clean and the waitresses are all very nice and helpful. We really enjoy coming here and feel very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very, very tasty, good service but we had to wait a relatively long time even though it wasn't very full. The Onion Blossum is incredibly good. Of course the price is higher.

Very well eaten, friendly service

Rarely have I had such lousy service as I did the other day. The main entrance was locked even though there were people inside. So you go in through the side entrance. The shop was hardly full, there were endless tables available (obviously when the door is closed) We were asked to take a seat in the entrance area - it would take a while. After 20 minutes nothing happened - 3/4 of the tables were still free. The service staff were unresponsive. We then left without having accomplished anything. Really a shame.

Great food but the waiting times were unbearable. It's not even the weekend yet. Update December 2025: I was there again because I think the concept was great and wanted to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately nothing has improved, on the contrary. The service staff took ages to arrive and this time the food was really bad. Fries were way over fried, resulting in a very hard and oily taste, gravy sauce was thin and had no taste, burger was okay. I won't be coming back, it's a shame as the store looks very nice.

We ate here with two adults and a toddler. And it was wonderful here. The staff were extremely friendly, the food (with dessert, cake and ice cream) was fantastic and the ambience is really unique. Someone really put a lot of effort into this. We'd love to come back ❤️ The only thing I didn't like was that there is no plant milk for hot drinks.

Sorry, but there is no relationship between price and performance. Dead roasted meat drowned in BBQ sauce. Fries like those from MC Donald, which were driven for a 3 hour drive in the car. BBQ sauce, probably from Mississippi, costs €5 per liter in the metro. Beer without foam. Bitter lemon filled to the brim with ice. Apart from that, Casandra Steen was poorly mixed and way too expensive for 1 hour. Conclusion: €250 evening for 3 people for the barrel

We ate at Timberjacks at the end of November after a customer meeting, luckily we had reserved a table. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really good. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, the main course could have come a little quicker, but it was also very tasty. Will come back when I'm in Kassel again.

We had dinner in the restaurant this evening (12/20/24) with a small group of work colleagues. It has to be said that although the prices are quite high, the quality of the dishes is good. But unfortunately the service staff, who initially acted with a noticeable fake friendliness, simply stopped serving us despite repeated requests! It's been over an hour, we all had empty glasses, but the gentleman probably just didn't care, although I always thought that you make good money with the drinks... so we didn't even come close to using up our budget for this Christmas party and will definitely hold the next event somewhere else.

Wir waren geschäftlich zu zweit dort. Service schwach: langsam und unaufmerksam. Die Qualität der Speisen war sprichwörtlich zum kotzen. Der Bürger wäre okay gewesen, wenn nicht ein langes Haar ins Patty eingearbeitet worden wäre. Die BBQ-Platte als Tagesempfehlung hingegen hatte keine einzige genießbare Komponente. Das, was möglicherweise hätte Fleisch sein sollen, war totgegartes Katzenfutter. Mir kommt das Zeug auch Stunden später noch hoch und ich bereue, davon probiert zu haben. Dieses Lokal werden wir garantiert nie wieder besuchen.

Great restaurant, you feel at home as soon as you come in, it's impressive to look around when you wait a moment until you get the table. Super nice service and very helpful with the menu. All in all very nice, eating there is super tasty. Very very highly recommended. When I'm back in Kassel I'll eat there again. Keep it up, you have a great team 👍👍

The ambience is really nice. There is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service. We had a Christmas party in December and got seats at the exit door to the smoking area. Unfortunately it was used very often and we wanted other places because it was too drafty. We didn't get it. The steaks were all cold and therefore not tasty. The service was rarely present, so you needed a lot of patience when ordering the drinks. There are better options for eating steak in Kassel. I can't say anything about the hotel.

Unfortunately, a lot of things in the men's toilet are dusty (at the top of the mirror, card issuer, toilet). Doesn't make a good first impression for a store in this price range. But there is potential to work on it.

On April 11, 2024 I was at Timberjacks. The American-inspired restaurant aims to create an experience that really makes you feel like you're in America. This works quite well, the ambience with the bull, the huge screen and the chainsaws is really atypical. I had Philly cheese tacos with beef and a Philly cheese burrito with chicken, plus a blueberry iced tea and a strawberry shake for dessert. The Philly Cheese Tacos were delicious, the beef was juicy, the sour cream was great and the soft shells were better than I expected. The Philly Cheese Burrito was also tasty, but not as good as the tacos. The chicken was a bit dry and unfortunately there was too much rice and not enough chicken for me, otherwise with the sour cream and guacamole it wasn't bad. I can only recommend the blueberry iced tea, really very tasty, not too sweet and a dream for anyone who loves blueberries. The Strawberry Shake is also very tasty and doesn't taste artificially like strawberries, but is only for people who like it very sweet. To describe it briefly, the shake is a sugar bomb, so if sugar isn't your thing, try something else. The service is not worth highlighting, but neither should it be rated negatively.

Timberjacks in Kassel is a real eye-catcher and a place that immediately impresses. We were immediately impressed by the rustic log cabin architecture with the massive wooden beams and the cozy, yet modern atmosphere. It almost feels like you're in a luxurious mountain cabin somewhere in the Rocky Mountains - just an experience in itself. The spacious guest room with fireplace and the tastefully coordinated furnishings create a unique atmosphere that makes the visit truly special. For food: We had brisket, a smash cheeseburger, mac 'n' cheese and fries. Unfortunately, the brisket was a bit too dry, which disappointed us, because with a dish like this you expect tender, juicy meat fibers that melt in your mouth. The smash cheeseburger was solid, but could have used a little more spice and character. The combination of juicy patty and melted cheese was tasty, but fell short of expectations in terms of taste. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, and we felt well looked after. The waiting times were reasonable. Conclusion: Timberjacks scores above all with its outstanding ambience - a place that you should experience. The food was good, but there is still room for improvement, especially with the brisket and burgers. Perhaps the expectations of the cuisine are simply very high due to the impressive ambience, but despite minor criticisms, the visit was a real experience. I'd love to come back and I'm excited to see how the kitchen develops. 5 stars, especially for the atmosphere and the great service - and I hope that the kitchen develops its full potential next time.

Just a great atmosphere. The waitresses aren't always competent, but that's what makes the whole thing so 'hand-knit' endearing. Disadvantage: The cheesecakes are now ok again, but the loud blast of squeaky whining music is a real nerve challenge today.

Here in the Rhön and Fulda area there are also rustic restaurants with rustic food, but Timberjacks in Kassel is second to none. You can only realize the extraordinary impressions at home when you look at the photos. The food is a culinary delight, hardly any waiting time, service is quick and friendly, and the price is reasonable. Or you can just stay at home then it's cheaper. We'll definitely be back

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da. Wohl auch zum letzten. Wenn man gerne schlecht und teuer essen gehen mag, dann ist der Laden richtig. Ich habe einen Cesar Salat mit gegrilltem Lachs bestellt. Bei dem Salat kann man wenig falsch machen. Aber auch den habe ich schon viel viel besser gegessen. Der Lachs war trocken. Schade um den schönen Fisch. Mein Mann hatte RibeyeSteak. Qualität einfach unterirdisch. 300 Gramm für 35 Euro!! Für einen Steak von guter Qualität und aus frischem Fleisch zahle ich gerne auch mal nen Euro mehr. Aber nicht für das tiefgefrorene Fleisch von Schuhsohle Qualität. Aperol spritz noch nie und nirgends so schlecht getrunken. Was auch sehr unangenehm war, dass die Bedienung kurz nach dem wir gegessen haben kam und zu verstehen gab, wenn wir nix mehr bestellen, wäre es nett , dass wir bezahlen und den Tisch frei machen. Da haben wir noch nicht mal die Getränke ausgetrunken. Da trifft man sich mit Freunden zum lecker essen und bissel Zeit mit einander zu verbringen... Aber da ist es wohl nicht die richtige Adresse dafür. Wir treffen uns auf alle Fälle woanders. Timberjacks Kassel sieht uns nie wieder.

Das Timberjacks hat leider an Qualität abgenommen. Als ich zum ersten Mal (2021) zum Essen dort war, war das Essen, die Bedienung und die Qualität wirklich erste Sahne. Leider war dies im November 2021 nicht mehr der Fall. Die Speisen kamen nach Bestellung recht schnell, auf das Besteck mussten wir aber dann 10 Minuten warten. Da war das Essen schon halb kalt…. :-( Der Trüffelburger war leider furztrocken und an der Trüffelcreme wurde gespart. Auch die Burritos waren in 2021 geschmacklich einfach mehr… sehr schade. Für die Preise, die aufgerufen werden, kann man wirklich eine 1A-Qualität erwarten. Wir kommen erstmal nicht wieder. Sehr schade um die eigentlich schöne Location.

La verdad decepción venir a comer carne un viernes a un restaurante de carne y que no tengan toda una decepción. El sitio es bonito pero uno ya sabe donde no volver para comer carne la verdad una decepción. Viajar tanto para llevarte esta desilusión.

Leider eine Katastrophe vom Essen her. 45min gewartet. Das Steak war statt medium durchgebraten und das vegetarische Essen lauwarm und das Gemüse fast roh noch dekoriert mit welkem Rucola. Beides zurückgehen lassen und neu machen lassen und man soll es kaum glauben beides genauso wiederbekommen nur neu wieder schlecht gekocht. Wir haben es dann aus Verzweiflung und Hunger gegessen. Auch der Geschmack war unterirdisch. Prozente beim Bezahlen bekommen. Das einzige Licht war der Service, die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und bemüht und kann nichts dafür, schließlich hat sie ja nicht gekocht. Ein Fazit für uns. Wir gehen dort nicht wieder hin. Für 60Euro einfach zu teuer und schlecht gekocht.

Hele grote plaats die van een keten is. Doet heel amerikaans aan. Prijzen zijn aan de duurdere kant. Wel alles superlekker. Bediening wat langzaam door de grote van het etablissement. Je mag blijkbaar ook niet zomaar plaatsnemen maar moet wachten op een zitje.

Wir zur Dritt zum Essen. 2 Personen hatten das Steak mit je 300g bestellt und einer das gleiche Steak mit 400g plus Beilagen und extra Saucen. Nach der Bestellung kam der Kellner wieder und sagt 300g hätten Sie nicht mehr. Wir sollten das Filetsteak nehmen. „Das schmeckt ähnlich“. Nach einer ganzen Weile kamen 2 Steaks, beide Englisch gebraten, obwohl medium bestellt. Das 3. Steak, die Beilagen und die Saucen kamen gar nicht. Auch nach Beschwerde beim Kellner nicht. Als wir den Geschäftsführer bemühten, kamen die Beilagen und noch später das 3. Steak. Mit den anderen beiden Steaks waren wir längst fertig… die Saucen kamen gar nicht. Als Entschädigung bekamen wir das 3. Steak kostenlos, sowie ein Dessert nach Wahl. Wir bestellten daraufhin 2x Waffeln und 1 Creme. Der Kellner kam aus der Küche und sagte „ Waffeln sind aus“. Der ganze Abend war eine Katastrophe. Auch die Beilagen waren halb roh. Und das für 136€!!! Wir werden bestimmt nicht wieder hingehen😡. Aber wir haben auch andere Gäste gesehen , die sichtlich unzufrieden waren (Essen und Service).

Das Timberjacks haben wir nun zum zweiten Mal besucht und sind beide Male einfach nur begeistert. Das Zimmer hat eine angenehme Größe, ist in Holz und dunkel gehalten, mit einer beruhigenden Ambiente-Beleuchtung. Es ist sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Das Restaurant hat eine beeindruckende Bar mit riesigem Bildschirm darüber. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen kam schnell und war super lecker. Geschmacklich kann ich absolut nichts aussetzen... Eine klare Empfehlung für das Timberjacks in Kassel.

Das Essen war super.Die Vorspeise Mozzarella Sticks mit Aioli sauce war lecker.Das Steak Medium mit grauen Rand uns innen rosa genau wie mein Sohn und ich es lieben.Die Bratkartoffeln waren auch gut und das Gemüse durch.Der Nachtisch eine Bananencreme war auch lecher.Der Kellner war zuvorkommend und höflich .War ein gelungener Abend in einem schönen Ambiente.

Mal wieder längere Wartezeiten am Empfang, um an seinen reservierten Platz gebracht zu werden. Anschliessend eigtl eine nette Kellnerin gehabt, aber zum Ende hin war sie unprofessionell. Mein Partner hatte ein Steak (alleine das Steak kostet über 50€!!) er wollte es gerne Medium haben. Nach 40 Minuten Wartezeit kam ein trockenes Steak, welches komplett durch war. Er hat es mit Soßen gegessen, weil wir nicht wieder 40 Minuten warten wollten und er dann schlussendlich alleine isst. Das arme Tier ist 2x gestorben. Die Kellnerin fragte nach dem Essen, ob es geschmeckt hat, nach unserer Antwort sagte sie nur: ah ok. Keine Entschuldigung oder Ähnliches. Ich bin selbst in der Gastro und diese Reaktion geht gar nicht! Die Kette wird immer größer und die Qualität schlechter, Preise reden wir gar nicht drüber! 1 Burger und ein Steak mit 2 Beilagen und Soßen sowie 2 Getränke = 120€!! Wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Im Vorfeld über das Internet einen Tisch bestellt. Hat super geklappt. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr groß, und man muss die Karte echt "studieren" um sich ein optimales Essen zusammen zu stellen. Der Geschmack war sehr gut.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Service war auch gut. Mein dritter Besuch und ich werde jedes Mal enttäuscht. Das Essen hat leider nicht geschmeckt. Der Smash Burger war knorpelig und trocken . Am besten war die Gewürz Gurken und die Pommes.

Der eine Punkt ist für die Bedienung und das Ambiente. Gemüse war mehr als Roh und geschmacklos Tendorlion war so zäh wie eine Schuhsohle und kalt ganz zu schweigen von den Sehnen Über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet Waren das erste aber auch das letze Mal da, schade!!!

Habe für eine Nacht ein Zimmer gebucht und im Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und zum Stil passend eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal im dazugehörigen Restaurant (Steakhouse) war freundlich und flexibel. Das Essen super in Geschmack und Größe der Portion. Nach einem reichhaltigen Frühstück am nächsten Morgen und dem Auschecken um 11:30 Uhr hätten wir am liebsten gleich wieder eingecheckt.

Great location, impressive restaurant! Service is good, most of the employees are friendly! But …… The burger is by far (!!!) the worst burger I have ever eaten! (16€!!!!) Fart dry, paddys totally done, you had to look for sauce and the cheese was also strange, unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. Better to go to a place that can do burgers - Five guys for example!!!

The restaurant was very busy when I visited. It took a very long time to receive the order. After another long wait, the ordered dish found its way to the guest, although unfortunately it was only lukewarm when it arrived. The taste was good, but it probably would have been better hot. Unfortunately, it took a few attempts to find a waitress who would do the billing.

This time I didn't eat a steak, but a really tasty burger. That was once again a real treat. The control panel was very attentive, always asking if everything was okay, if there was anything else I wanted, etc. Almost a bit too much 😉 But it was a great evening. Important: book a table in advance, it was very full, but not a long wait.

Stylish furnishings with a large screen, which is a bit distracting but still fits in very well. There was almost too much choice when it came to food, but everything sounded good. Definitely not the wrong choice for a restaurant visit!

Anastasia served us wonderfully, it was a celebration of our wedding anniversary to receive such kind care. The food is fantastic and very American. The prices correspond to the quality and we would be happy to come back for special occasions :)

Great restaurant, mega selection, great staff. We ate two burgers and a portion of fries. The meat was fried really well, the fries were really tasty. One star deducted because of the price. For a small portion of fries, 5.40 euros is really steep. We paid just under 65 euros for two people with two drinks each, ok with a cocktail and no standard burgers but not cheap. Parking on site is well regulated. Be sure to reserve in advance!!!

Fantastic American cuisine with many burger variations, ribs, pulled, many small pans with colorful all sorts, even more sauces and a huge aging cabinet for dry-aged beef in a wide variety of cuts, an almost endless selection of dessert variations, cocktails and one extensive wine list. The whole thing in a spacious log cabin, very friendly - especially very fast - staff and on Thursday there is also live music!!!

Had breakfast only, impressive and great location, friendly staff. 4 stars only because the meat on the fried eggs and avocado beef plate was fried dry and poorly seasoned and we had some dirty cutlery. Still enjoyed our meal and had a good time, just not as perfect as expected especially on mother's day. Recommended.

We had fun taking a look here... spacious and exciting atmosphere. The shake was terrible, just sweet syrup with room temperature cream ice cream, decorated with colorful sugar sprinkles. The steak was very good...the only no go was: no toilet paper for the ladies.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I had the burritos, god they were the best I've had so far. Large portion, everything fresh and super tasty. I had two different homemade ice teas to drink, great! If I'm ever on the corner again, I'll be happy to come back :)

From the accessibility to the service and the food, everything was perfect!!!

The menu was extensive BUT the food was delicious. We were a family of 5 adults and 5 children and there was something on the menu for us all to enjoy. In addition to it being an accommodating restaurant, it was also RIGHT OFF the highway making it a perfect stop on a four hour trip south.

Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. I found value for money absolutely fine. There is also an extra “card” for the kids that they can color with the colored pencils provided. Attention is paid to details here. Starts with the cutlery bags (thick paper, a thick napkin) and engraved knives... ends in the toilet with background music and natural ambience. It's certainly good to sit outside in the summer, but unfortunately it's on a main road, so only 3 stars for the location

Eating out at Timberjacks was truly an experience - the ambiance is fantastic and the burger and fries were so, so good. The cheesecake is also really recommended, I have never tasted such a creamy cheesecake! Reservations are definitely recommended, the restaurant was really busy.

Nice restaurant, great ambience and good food. Service staff were hardly present during lunchtime (approx. 15% capacity of the restaurant with 4 service staff). Cards were simply thrown on the table and we looked for and got a high chair for the toddler ourselves. Food was perfect! Payment was made by card and before I could put my tiny card holder in my bag and dig around in my wallet for cash for a tip, the waitress asked me why I wasn't leaving a tip. This has never happened to me in my entire life, where a waitress purrs at me for a tip. What kind of behavior is this??? I hadn't even gotten up from my chair or moved away from the table. I asked her if she needed the tip so boldly that she addressed the guests so boldly. Tip for the waitress: You also have to be present with the guest and perhaps come to the table a third or fourth time, but just taking the order and then collecting it is actually not encouraging for tips. My husband only had one small drink and would have liked one or two more. Smiling at guests and walking past them is just as bad. Maybe ask if everything is okay, the guest would be very happy. Now to clarify... I always and always tip. The amount depends on the friendliness and flexibility of the service staff. What happened to me that day shocked me so much that you received nothing from me. Your statement that you have to give 3% to the kitchen didn't make the conversation any better. Their escape to the kitchen was the best thing they could and did do that afternoon.

I ordered a pulled chicken burger here. The burger was great, I've never had one that good. We immediately got a table for 2 people here without a reservation. The staff is also very friendly. I can only recommend this shop!

The atmosphere is generally very cool! Log cabin style. Unfortunately, the staff is mostly overwhelmed, the food is no longer great and the prices are excessive. Unfortunately, the menu is not well suited for people with intolerances.

We were just in the restaurant . I like the decor . The burger was very good and tasty but the taco was swiming in the oil i did not enjoy it. Mozerella sticks were so yummy but the service person did not wait us to choose a sauce !!!

We booked the suite and were very happy overall. We can highly recommend it! It also has a really nice charm and is something completely different than a classic hotel, both in terms of style and food! Simply great! Everyone who is in Kassel should try it out, regardless of whether it is just the restaurant or combined with a hotel.

This used to be an impressive restaurant. Rustic with lots of wooden trunks and also with a suitable ambience around it. The Big Daddy Burger with French Fries was an experience. Everything is fresh, cooked just right for me and served in style. Speaking of service. He was very attentive and friendly. Really great, would be happy to come back any time. But a reservation makes sense.

Soooo delicious and the service is really top!!! We had the Big Daddy Burger, simply great. The portions are more than sufficient and the cheese and garlic sauce is delicious😋. It was our first time but definitely not our last time here

We had a super friendly and attentive waiter. It was full but we didn't have to wait very long for the very tasty food. The atmosphere is cozy.
