Tikka Masala in Berlin

I was traveling around the city for years (35), and there was an Indian restaurant where the entire street smelled strongly of curry. I was therefore dismissed and have never eaten Indian food to this day. And today I was proven wrong. Truly delicious, the spices, the combinations. We devoured various appetizers and a main course. Until I couldn't fit any more in. I have a new favorite when it comes to eating out! Thank you. 👍🙋🏼

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Tikka Masala in Pankow is a cute restaurant for lovers of Indian cuisine! Upon entering, you're greeted by the pleasant aromas and warm atmosphere. The restaurant is cozy yet modern – you immediately feel welcome. The food was consistently excellent. The Chicken Tikka Masala was particularly delicious: tender meat, perfectly cooked sauce with a wonderful balance of spiciness and creaminess. The side dishes – freshly baked naan, fragrant basmati rice, and various chutneys – were also spot on. You can tell the food is cooked with love. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and warm, without being intrusive. Drinks were brought promptly, special requests were easily accommodated, and you felt like a truly valued guest. The price at Tikka Masala is absolutely fair, especially for the quality you get. It's a restaurant that can be recommended for both a relaxed evening with friends and a cozy meal for two. Summary: An all-around successful experience – delicious food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Tikka Masala in Lichtenberg is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin! 🌿🍛🇮🇳

I ordered three main courses for pickup on Friday, August 8, 2025. According to the website, the lunch special is available Monday through Friday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. (except on public holidays). I placed the order by phone and specifically mentioned the lunch special. Nevertheless, I had to pay the regular (significantly higher) price on site. When I asked about it, this was simply ignored or downplayed. There was no explanation or consideration – not even a hint that the lunch special might not be available for pickup (which, incidentally, isn't mentioned on the website). The food tasted okay, but I find the pricing approach dubious. Anyone who advertises a lunch special should stick to it – especially if the customer specifically asks for it in advance. Unfortunately, this was the last time for me.

We ordered and had it delivered. But what we got was absolutely top-notch! Very tasty, everything still hot and wonderfully seasoned. After this delivery, we will definitely visit the restaurant in person. Also a great value for money. We'll order again, but even better, we'll come by. Praise

We ordered through Lieferando. The wait time was advertised as 45 minutes, but the food arrived after 90 minutes. One dish was okay, the other absolutely tasted bad.

We picked up food. The chicken curry didn't taste like it at all. Unfortunately, neither did the lentil soup. It was still okay.

We had a platter for two with sparkling wine, a soup each, three main courses, and Indian ice cream for dessert. There was plenty, everything was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. We'd be happy to come back.

As an Indian I am saying this that their food is really nice and really cozy place. Whoever visits them give then Bhindi masala a try. Worth your money and we also ordered Biryani. Totally worth it. We are gonna visit again

The food was excellent. Only 45 euros with 3x bread, 2 main courses and 3 drinks. The service was also quiet, reserved but very attentive. Ambiance is okay. The two of us were there on a Tuesday from 6 p.m. Unfortunately there's not much going on, although the restaurant doesn't deserve it. Guys pay attention to this restaurant, go, it's really worth it.

I've ordered there several times over the months and had dinner there with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. The food delivered was very good, but it was a completely new experience on site. The decor is debatable, but the food scores twice as well. I enjoy eating there and will continue to eat Indian there when I feel like it again. Top!

Very bad service this lunchtime 👎 I just wanted to ask if I could pay by card and the waitress' reaction was really annoying. "Wait!" she said to me in a loud voice, and then she said something else in a foreign language with an aggressive tone. You can tell that the staff here is very rude. I also ordered a non-alcoholic beer and she brought me one with alcohol. I even spoke to her in German. NEVER HERE AGAIN!

The food is okay but lacks typical flavors, We had the lentil (little thin) and tomato soup (sweet) with samosas (nice) as starters. Mains haven't been special although we went for the okra, chickpea spinach, and chicken spinach. The service is friendly but the food took long although the restaurant was nearly empty. The restaurant got quickly loud when half full maybe because of the echo in the room with naked walls. The walls are painted and carry a few colorful paintings but the ambience is rather boring and not very cosy, nor authentic. Overall, it's decent but I would prefer other Indian places in the city.

Delicious food, a small limitation perhaps. The dishes marked spicy... are not really spicy. So it's also good for Europeans to eat.

We recently dined at Tikka Masala and were absolutely delighted with our experience. We ordered the mutton gosht, matar paneer, and chicken tikka, along with a mango mojito cocktail. Every dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and truly delicious. Even my Punjabi boyfriend, who is very particular about authentic Indian food, was impressed and said this is the real taste of India! The mutton gosht was tender and packed with rich, aromatic spices. The matar paneer had a perfect balance of creamy paneer and flavorful peas in a thick gravy. The chicken tikka was juicy, smoky, and just the right amount of spicy. The mango mojito cocktail was refreshing and added a delightful twist to our meal.

If you love Indian cuisine and a child-friendly atmosphere, this is the place for you. A large selection of vegetarian dishes also makes the restaurant interesting for fans of meat-free food. My Spicy Indian cream cheese was deliciously prepared. I will gladly come again.

I was there yesterday with friends. Had, among other things, chicken pakoras. This is actually supposed to be a spicy snack. But this appetizer was miles away from that. Couldn't even define the content. So chicken clearly doesn't taste like something watery. The lentil soup was very good.

As long-time residents of Niederschönhausen, we were here for the first time and found the food and service very good...mildly spiced, simply delicious vegetarian dishes and, above all, manageable portions. We would love to come back…

Unfortunately, the waiter made a mistake with my order and then billed me incorrectly when I paid... which I unfortunately only noticed later... after I googled his prices again on the internet 😴 I feel cheated!!!! So be careful!!!! Never again 🙏

Food was very tasty. Everything is very fresh, meat is of good quality. Service was great! We were immediately asked by the waiter if we would like more rice when our bowl was full. Rather inconspicuous from the outside and inside, but we were very surprised by the quality of the food.

Many thanks to the Tikka Masala team. I always like the vegetarian dishes, especially Palak Paneer and Paneer Jalfrezi. My wishes, e.g. a little spicy, are also taken into account. The employees are friendly, humorous and authentic. A visit is always worth it =) ...The delivery service also works wonderfully.

We have often used the delivery service from the Tikka Masala restaurant and are always very satisfied. The food tastes delicious and arrives hot. The salads are visually very well arranged and special requests are catered for. We would especially like to thank the always friendly delivery driver who finds his way to us by bike no matter the weather. We are happy to recommend the restaurant.

Das Radler war leider total schal, der Mango-Lassi warm. Das Essen war ok. Der Service war gut. Wir hatten auf einen gemütlichen Abend gehofft, aber das Ambiente war doch Recht ungemütlich.

Essen war ganz okay, aber auch nichts besonderes. Deutsches-Indisches Essen. Preis ist okay, von daher in Ordnung. Service nett, aber recht langsam. Hätte ruhig öfters kommen dürfen. Dann hätte man auch mehr Getränke verkaufen können.

Bestellte Gerichte waren mengenmäßig gerade knapp ausreichend, geschmacklich mittelmäßig und zu teuer.

Früher war da ein vietnamesisches Restaurant drin... das vermiss ich sehr. Jedoch muss man sagen das seit Tikka Masala drin ist die Besucherquote sehr gestiegen ist. Das Essen schmeckt super und der Service ist sehr gut. Die Kellner sind alle nett und gut drauf. Ich finde die Preise ein wenig hoch, bzw. würde dafür gerne noch ein wenig mehr Einfallsreichtum bei den Rezepten und der Präsentation sehen. Für ab und zu mal ist es preislich aber schon okay. Die Karte hatte glaube ich als ich da war ein paar Schreibfehler aber sonst ist alles sehr liebevoll aufgezogen und man merkt das die leute dort gerne arbeiten. Gute Atmosphäre!

Essen und Personal waren super, die Würze ok... Etwas Platz bleibt bei der Ambiente, aber wir waren ja auch wegen dem Essen da und nicht um uns zuhause zu fühlen 😂😂😂👍🏻 Lokalität ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, macht einfach weiter so!!!!

Schon lange nicht mehr indisch gegessen, dann bestellt, schnell geliefert....weniger als die angegebene Zeit und das Essen war tadellos... und reichlich! Der extra Reis, war nicht notwendig! Ich bestell wieder :)

Bei der Bestellung gab es kleinere Sprachprobleme, durch zeigen auf die Nummer des Gerichts konnten die umgangen werden. Eine Schorle anstatt Saft zu bekommen war schon anspruchsvoller, das Bhatura zur Vorspeise und nicht zum Hauptgang zu bestellen ist gescheitert. Wenn man Spezialwünsche hat, könnte es schwierig werden. Warum nun ausgerechnet nur an der kurzen Tischseite bei 6 Personen bedient wurde und wir Essen und Getränke durchreichen mussten, obwohl hinter beiden langen Seiten genug Platz war - rätselhaft. Waren aber alle freundlich. Das Essen war lecker, das Bhatura war aber zu lange drin und nur trocken knusprig. Wäre es zur Vorspeise rausgenommen worden, hätte es vielleicht perfekt sein können... wer weiß. Die Portionen waren klein und der Preis über dem Durchschnitt. Aus meiner Sicht zu hoch. Schade.

We have visited twice during our 3day visit to Berlin . Food was excellent and we have received best service from them . I would recommend everyone who is looking for good Indian restaurants go for it specifically Bengali people will love this one . Thank you and keep going Tikka Masala .

Ich freu mich immer wenn hier in der Nähe ein neues Restaurant eröffnet und dann auch noch ein so gutes :)) super freundliches Personal und ich als Veganerin hatte eine große Auswahl. Alles war sehr lecker, kam schnell und man hat sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Gerne wieder !!

Wir haben heute das 1. Mal den Lieferservice ausprobiert (mind. Bestellwert 25€). Das Telefonat war sehr freundlich, das Essen kam nach ca. 30 min, heiß bei uns an, der junge Mann war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten ein Lamm Tandoori, Palak Paneer und gebackenen Blumenkohl (besseren hatte ich noch nicht!). Vom Haus bekamen wir noch Papadam mit 3 Saucen dazu, vielen Dank! Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und die Portionen groß. Verpackt war es größtenteils in nachhaltigen Verpackungen. Der Mann hätte gern noch etwas mehr Sauce beim Tandoori dabei gehabt, ansonsten war es perfekt und wir werden auf jeden Fall Wiederholungstäter! 😀

Heute das neue indische Restaurant um die Ecke ausprobiert. Wir sind begeistert! Das Essen ist super lecker und man isst deutlich über den Hunger. Die Getränke sind köstlich und der Service ist top. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Gestern das erste Mal Essen liefern lassen. Das Essen kam schneller als angegeben. Alles richtig heiß und lecker. Sehr zartes Hühnchen, bzw Lamm und auch das vegetarische Gericht der Tochter war super. Der Salat war knackig und lecker. Wir freuen uns jetzt in der Nähe ein neues Restaurant zu haben das man definitiv wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann.
