Tijuana Aachen in Aachen

I've been a regular at Tijuana for many years, especially when karaoke is on. There's one employee there who has always been so incredibly attentive and welcoming that he's become the benchmark for my girlfriend and me when it comes to waiters and waitresses. Chris is the best waiter we've ever had—friendly, attentive, and always focused on the customer! We love him!

The drinks at Tijuana are good, and they have a great jumbo deal before 9 pm. My girlfriend and I always end up there on weekends. The service is usually quite friendly. On Friday nights, though, the noise level is something else; you practically have to shout to be heard. What was particularly charming today was when the (also) foreign waiter asked me where I was from after I paid, only to tell me in the next breath that I probably needed to work on my German. Quite a statement, especially considering I'd had trouble understanding him all evening because of the noise; he spoke so quietly and indistinctly. 🥰🥰 Perhaps it would be more sensible to work on volume and clarity rather than suggesting language courses to the guests. Just a thought. 😁

We've spent many wonderful evenings together, whether at karaoke or enjoying a cozy meal. Thanks to the team.

Very friendly service, good quality, I recommend the Tower. All major credit cards are accepted, including American Express. Also a great option for international guests in Aachen.

I've never in my life had such a long wait; after about two hours the food still wasn't on the table, that's not normal! McDonald's would have been easier and faster.

Hi everyone, Tijuana in Aachen is a nice place to enjoy good food and delicious cocktails 😉 The ambiance is a bit dark (some areas are dimly lit, but it has a warm atmosphere), and the music/volume varies depending on where you're sitting, making it difficult or difficult to have a conversation. The service is okay, but could work on their demeanor. Some of the staff look like they've been through seven days of rain. (Maybe it was just a bad weather day that day 😅) What I really have to complain about, though, is the absolutely terrible air quality (it smells musty 🚽) and the heat in the place!!! That could definitely be improved! All in all, it's worth a visit for a nice evening out. Have fun everyone, and cheers! ✌️

It's not what it used to be. We had to wait a very long time before being served, and the food was not good value for money. The only positive thing was that the service was friendly.

I must have ordered the wrong dish this time! The Farmhouse Potatoes BBQ Chicken tasted like it had been "quickly microwaved" and was quite mushy and flavorless. You had to hunt for the BBQ chicken, and the cheese wasn't even melted properly. I've had better meals here, which is a shame. The service is good, and the cocktails are very good and reasonably priced.

Mexican food is great with care given to tradition and flavor. Friendly service, responsive to needs. My only negative experience, being elderly, has to do with the hard and uncomfortable chairs.

We discovered this place by chance, and it was simply fantastic! The food and atmosphere were simply top-notch, definitely recommended.

This place is not recommended. The food portions are much too small for the price, and you can tell they only serve ready-made products.

We were there with the whole family. And our dog. We were greeted more than warmly by our waiter. The dog was given water without even asking. There were a lot of us, and yet the waiter had the calm to treat each one like a friend. The food was great. The service was exceptional. We had a fantastic afternoon. Thank you so much. Karaoke night was great! The DJ was a bit weird at times and skipped songs even though everyone was already singing. Then he kept getting behind the microphone himself... oh well. But the atmosphere was still great.

This was our fourth time eating there. The food was below mediocre, can't believe the food is being advertised as Mexican, the enchiladas and quesadillas were basically boiled chicken in wraps with cheese, the nachos though were quite good though, credit where it's due. I don't know if they had a bad day in the kitchen or normally the food is this bad.

Delicious food, attentive staff, fast service and very friendly. Price-performance ratio is completely within the framework. It looked empty at the front, but in the store itself we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly it got full and how the staff still had everything under control. Good 4 stars for the food because there is still some room for improvement.

Unfortunately the food was inedible. Nothing was homemade. For such prices I would have expected much more. An hour after eating the food, I also had a stomach ache. The food was served quickly, but unfortunately the waiter wasn't very friendly. We were also very surprised by a loud argument in which the waiters shouted loudly at each other and insulted each other. For a bill of €55 for 2 people you would have gotten significantly better quality elsewhere.

The food here tastes very good, the spicy dishes could be a bit spicier for my taste. The service is at least friendly if not very accommodating. In summer the shop is extremely busy, especially on Tuesdays when all dishes are half price. The cocktails are strong and there is a sufficient selection. Only the interior is a bit very dark and not that nice.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Aachen. Price is reasonable. However, drinks and food were brought incorrectly several times and it sometimes degenerated into chaotic clarification with several waiters (who were all super nice) who didn't know what was what even in the end. In the end everything was resolved. We were there on a Saturday evening (Christmas market time).

One of the best restaurants in Aachen in my opinion. There are normal but also many vegetarian dishes or very spicy ones. Children get a children's meal for free on weekends. I hope we see each other there bye bye.

Great value for money, tasty dishes and a big quantity of food too. The cocktails are pretty decent as well. The service isn't the best but it's not bad either. You go there to eat and drink though and in this aspect it delivers for sure.

Food was really good I recommend the Mexican rice if you haven’t tried it, but the atmospheres was 😬😬 really loud.

Unfortunately, only 2 waiters were at work (due to a shortage of skilled workers), so all seats except the outdoor area were not allowed to be used. There are only beer tent sets in the outdoor area, which unfortunately prevents a comfortable meal. The two waiters were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, but could have been a little more seasoned. The burger offer on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays is unbeatably cheap.

Very friendly service, helpful and the waiter gave us very good advice. We ate excellent burritos and, even though we were full, had churros for dessert. We liked the atmosphere, rustic, beautiful decoration and candlelight.

It was nice, but a 10 percent tip was charged at checkout. In our case 24 euros. We thought it was scandalous. Gave 7 euros. Was accepted. They won't see me here again.

Fixed base when we visit Aachen. Tasty cocktails and good food. This time we visited with family for the first time on Friday evening, July 19. When changing tables, my mother-in-law, who does not speak German, was very unfriendly and forcefully urged by a female waitress to place an order. This behavior was really not okay. The situation was communicated to a friendly permanent waiter who we already knew from previous visits. In the end we still had a nice evening

We were there for karaoke and ate something beforehand. Considering I don't really like Mexican food, it tasted pretty good. The others were all excited. Our waiter was on the ball and nice. There was a lot of singing and the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely be back.

I was here a lot when I was a student and have very good memories of it. However, when I visited twice this month, I was disappointed. One day we were the only guests and had to leave the restaurant at 8:30 p.m. On another day, the outdoor restaurant was only a quarter full and we were told that they were only taking reservations due to staff shortages. It's a shame what has happened to many companies in recent years, both economically and in terms of personnel. The service as well as the food and drinks are still very good.

Good, hearty food at reasonable prices in the middle of Aachen. You can always go there again and again. There is plenty of space even without a reservation. Fun for groups: The beer is available cheaper in a six-pack (bottles served in an ice bucket).

Tijuana is really great! The food and cocktails are great and the waitresses are very nice. Don't be fooled by the first impression of an empty store. The front tables, which can be seen from outside, are almost never occupied, but there is always a lot going on in the back and the winter garden. The atmosphere is also cozy, although it is quite dimly lit in some corners.

Great place for cocktails during happy hour. Personally most cocktails were a little bit too sweet. We had a great waitress recommending us our food so we could taste a little bit of almost everything. Portions are big, we couldn’t finish everything and taste is pretty average but good.

The food was simply great. There were 15 of us there and no one could complain about anything. It was also great that there was happy hour for cocktails until 10 p.m. Nice atmosphere, good music, nice service. It's just right here!

Today I came here spontaneously with my mother and we had a fantastic evening! The food was fresh and tasty and the value for money can't be beat. I would particularly like to highlight Chris' service - with his humorous, authentic and warm manner, he made sure that we felt completely at home.
