Schönes italienisches Restaurant im Herzen von Bad Homburg. Fußläufig zum Kurhaus gelegen, heißt es hier auf der abendlichen Außenterrasse: „Sehen und gesehen werden.“ Preislich im oberen Bereich angesiedelt, bietet die Osteria Villa Fantastica leckere italienische Speisen. Nach meinem Geschmack hätte die Thunfisch-Mayonnaise-Sauce des Vitello Tonnato allerdings etwas mehr Säure vertragen können – beispielsweise durch Zitronensaft, Kapern oder Kapernsud. Die Bedienung hätte insgesamt etwas aufmerksamer sein können. Bei der Stammkundschaft war man deutlich präsenter. Trotzdem ein gelungener Abend. Bei schönem Wetter sollte man auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren.

Immer wieder einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Bad Homburg. Eine tolle Lokation mit super Service, gute Qualität. Wirklich eine gute Empfehlung. Ob das spontane Essen zu zweit, oder das besondere Event. Hier geht wirklich alles.

Freundlichkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, beim Mittagstisch fühlt man sich als Gast eher "auf der Flucht"

Das Restaurant bietet gehobene italienische Küche an, aber leider nicht den entsprechenden Service. Zwei Wochen vor dem Besuch bzgl. glutenfreie Möglichkeiten (ein Gast hat Zöliakie) über die Email Adresse der Webseite angefragt und keine Antwort erhalten. Also vorab online die Speisekarte gecheckt, aber das war nur wenig hilfreich. Vor Ort wurde empfohlen das auf der Karte als glutenfrei ausgewiesene Vitello Tonato nicht zu nehmen aufgrund der genutzten Majo. Man war nicht bereit einen Blick auf die Zutatenliste zu werfen, um zu klären, ob überhaupt Gluten in der zugekauften Majo enthalten ist oder nicht. Glutenfreie Nudeln wollte man ebenfalls nicht anbieten, weil das Lokal gut besucht war. Ebenfalls wurden wir am Tag der Reservierung mehrmals angerufen wobei der Ton harsch war (es wurden Nachrichten hinterlassen) und man wollte wissen ob wir die Reservierung wahrnehmen, bei Rückrufversuchen geht dann keiner ans Telefon.

Wir waren am Abend dort mit Reservierung. Die Terrasse war kurz nach unserer nach unserer Ankunft komplett belegt. Es sollte ein Probeessen für unsere anstehende Hochzeit werden, wofür wir noch eine Lokalität suchen. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Der Service war am Anfang flott und auch die Getränke kamen schnell. Leider wurde uns nicht wie wir später mitbekamen die zusätzlichen Menüs genannt, an den Nachbartischen schon. Zusätzlich hatten wir am Nachbartisch vier starke Raucher sitzen, wir entschieden deshalb recht schnell, auf drei Gänge zu verzichten und jeder nur einen Hauptgang zu wählen, da es uns in erster Linie um das Testen der Atmosphäre ging. Insgesamt war es rummelig, die angrenzende Straße auch deutlich zu hören. Die Raucherei war echt störend und wir verstehen nicht wie das heutzutage vom Gastronomen noch erlaubt ist - Raucher sind in der erheblichen Minderzahl. Dazu kamen zwei große Hunde, die permanant für Unruhe sorgten, der eine bellte und der andere jaulte. Unser Essen kam in angemessener Zeit. Mein Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten war gut, die Pasta meiner Frau nichts Besonderes. Danach saßen wir tatsächlich 30 Minuten ohne dass jemand Notiz von uns nahm, keine Nachbestellung von Getränken mehr (bei der Hitze), keine Frage nach Dessert und zum Zahlen war niemand greifbar. Das war dann ein schlechter Abschluss. Fazit: Fällt aus für unsere Hochzeit, Rauchen sollte auch auf der Terrasse abgestellt werden, Hunde tja....liegt am Besitzer, wenn ich weiß dass mein Hund nicht unter fremden Menschen sein kann, lass ich es!

Unglaublich gut und nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren gestern wieder in der Villa Fantastica und es war wie immer sensationell. Alles frisch zubereitet und schmackhaft ! Celine, Saverio als gastgebende Inhaber sind einfach Spitze. Der Service unter der Leitung von Zoran und seinem Team welches immer gut gelaunt und sehr aufmerksam ist. Alles klappt hier wie gewünscht........besser geht einfach nicht. Die Gerichte außerhalb der Speisekarte sind sehr zu empfehlen! Wir besuchen die Villa schon seit mehr als 15 Jahre und wurden nie enttäuscht. Tischreservierung ist nötig weil das Restaurant so gut wie immer ausgebucht ist. BITTE MACHT WEITER SO !

Einfach einer der besten Italiener, bei dem ich je gegessen habe! Abgesehen davon, ein super eingespieltes Serviceteam, immer freundlich, erheiternd und wohlwollend. Nach jedem Besuch gehen wir ganz beseelt nach Hause. Kommen immer wieder gerne! Ergänzend: Wer es noch nicht entdeckt hat: unbedingt das Pistaziensoufflé probieren.

Ich war zum ersten Mal hier und bin total begeistert! Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, witzig und der Service war hervorragend. Das Essen war köstlich. Besonders der gegrillte Fisch hat mir geschmeckt – perfekt zubereitet, zart und saftig. Das Essen kam auch sehr schnell. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Villa Fantastica ist ein absolutes Juwel. Unser Kellner Oliver war super freundlich und einfach fantastisch – er hat unseren Besuch zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Ehrlich gesagt, sind alle Mitarbeiter dort unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist authentisch italienisch und einfach köstlich – man schmeckt die Qualität und die Sorgfalt, mit der es zubereitet wurde. Die Weinauswahl ist hervorragend und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und einladend. Sie haben uns sogar geholfen, den Geburtstag unseres Kollegen zu feiern, was den Abend noch persönlicher und besonderer gemacht hat. Ich war zwei Abende hintereinander dort, was wohl alles sagt, und ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Selten, dass man zu Sechst ein Restaurant besucht und niemand auch nur eine Kleinigkeit zu bemängeln hat: Excellenter Service vom Empfang über die Empfehlungen zur Karte und zum Wein bis zum Abschied in nettem Ambien; alle Speisen an unserem Tisch waren vorzüglich. Wir haben den gestrigen Abend sehr genossen!

Hier ist der Name Programm. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch gehobene italienische Küche. Hier kann man einen angenehmen Abend mit Freunden, eine Feierlichkeit oder ein Rendezvous mit der Freundin verbringen. Das Personal ist lustig freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier habe ich nun meinen Lieblingsitaliener in Bad Homburg gefunden. Leider bin ich nicht oft dort aber wenn ich das nächste Mal da bin, werde ich sicher wieder hier speisen. Für mich persönlich eine zehn von zehn.

Die Gastronomie hat dramatisch nachgelassen. Ich kenne das Restaurant seit 20 Jahren und hatte bei meinem letzten Besuch nicht erwartet, daß wir ein solch langweiliges, lieblos zusammengestelltes Menü vorgesetzt bekommen. Wir waren dort mit Gästen und haben uns geschämt.

Früher ein Heimspiel, heute eine herbe Enttäuschung Wir waren über Jahre hinweg Stammgäste in diesem Haus. Unter der Leitung des Vorbesitzers – einer echten Lichtgestalt der regionalen Gastronomie – war jeder Besuch ein Erlebnis. Man fühlte sich nicht nur als Kunde, sondern als willkommener Gast. Herzlichkeit und Professionalität standen damals an erster Stelle. Leider scheint dieser Geist mit dem Betreiberwechsel komplett verflogen zu sein. Bei unserem letzten Besuch wollten wir höflich anfragen, ob wir an einem bestimmten Tisch Platz nehmen dürften. Die Reaktion des Angestellten war schlichtweg fassungslos machend: Anstatt einer freundlichen Erklärung oder einer Alternative bekamen wir den Spruch gedrückt, „das Leben sei kein Wunschkonzert“. Solch eine herablassende Art gegenüber langjährigen Gästen ist im Dienstleistungssektor eigentlich das Todesurteil. Es ist traurig mitanzusehen, wie ein ehemals erstklassig geführtes Restaurant durch mangelnde Kinderstube und fehlendes Gespür im Service seinen Ruf verspielt. Fazit: Kulinarik allein reicht nicht, wenn man sich als Gast wie ein Bittsteller fühlen muss. Das Management sollte hier dringend über die Bücher gehen und das Personal schulen – oder sich fragen, ob dieser Umgangston wirklich die Vision ist, die man nach außen tragen möchte. Wir werden vorerst nicht mehr wiederkommen.

We've been to Villa Fantastica several times and have had both highs and lows. On my birthday, we had booked well in advance, but when we arrived after a 15 km drive, the restaurant was closed; unfortunately, we hadn't been informed. The next two visits were fine. Today, on a recommendation, we ordered the venison loin, a portion costing €48. It wasn't visually appealing, was tough, and tasted anything but delicious – a real shame. We will come back, but next time we'll definitely choose the classic Italian dishes.

Excellent experience. I ate very well, the quality of the food was very high. I drove an hour, but it was worth it. I'll definitely be back. Not to mention the truly classy atmosphere. There were two of us and they seated us right away, but I highly recommend booking in advance, otherwise you risk missing out.

Average food, below average service, long wait, not worth it. We really wanted to like it but it was a huge disappointment. If you’re local - you’ll be treated differently, as in nicely. Not the best way to attract new customers.

One of our favorite restaurants. Not exactly cheap, but worth every penny. Vitello Tomato is a poem. Superb pink veal, thinly sliced ​​with a homemade tuna sauce. Or Salmtin Bocca, tender and juicy with fresh balsamic vinegar.

Great restaurant in the heart of Bad Homburg I ate there in the evening – it was a complete delight! For an aperitif, I had a refreshing Negroni, accompanied by bread with oil and tuna cream as a delicious starter. The menu ranges from pasta to bistecca, all fresh and delicious. Particularly noteworthy: the excellent wine list and the attentive, friendly service. A harmonious evening with great food, drinks, and atmosphere: highly recommended!

The food was excellent again, but this time the service left a lot to be desired. The wait was very long and we weren't asked for more drinks or dessert. After 15 minutes of no one came to collect the bill, we left with cash.

The food was a real poem - every course was a pleasure. The staff was not only incredibly friendly, but also warm and attentive, so we felt completely at home. The absolute highlight of the evening was the loving birthday serenade at the end - a moment full of emotions that topped off this special evening. A huge thank you to the entire team! My boyfriend and I went here for a lovely evening. I’m a non-native German speaker and my boyfriend speaks English; despite this the staff was super kind and jovial. The atmosphere was very friendly and the food was spectacular. If you’re looking for a nice place to spend a great night out, you’ve found it.

Great authentic Italian place. It was packed when we came, but still found a seat. Food was very good and not your typical/average Italian menu. Definitely special and fresh. They have a special lunch menu, too. Their Tartufo Pistachio ice cream was the best I've ever had!

Whenever we are in Bad Homburg, our first go is to Villa Fantastica: super delicious food, friendly and cheerful service and a lovely ambience. We opted - as so often - for veal liver and fried baby calamari. The salmon carpaccio is also good Highly recommended. Beautiful terrace in front of the house, parking nearby. Be sure to reserve in advance!

I have called the restaurant 1hour before closing and I was told the restaurant closes at 2:30 and the kitchen closes af 02:00 so I needed to arrive before it. I arrived at 01:50 and was being received by the personal and then the super impolite, unfriendly and rude boss interrupted and said I couldn’t get in. So doesn’t really matter if the food is good, you have a zero friendly person by the door I’m never coming back and I’m never making business lunch reservations there either. For the restaurant: next time please give the right information at the phone so someone doesn’t take the trouble to go to you. Or close the doors. Or get someone more polite to talk to your clients. For me, NEVER AGAIN.

The antipasti platter for the starter is very tasty and recommended, as is the baby calamari as the main course. Bread and olives are served and wine is poured. The service is attentive. Price performance is right. The ambience is also very good.

I think it's the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in my life. It may be even more beautiful than the ones in Italy. The chefs are friendly and offer great suggestions. The service is very fast. The starters were good, the fish of the day, sea bass, was amazing. Truffle spaghetti is amazing. The resulting seafood platter (appetizer) is beyond words. Friends who drank the wine recommended by the chef for lunch said it was excellent. I recommend anyone who happens to visit Bad Homburg to go for lunch or dinner. If you are staying in Frankfurt and looking for a different and wonderful taste, be sure to come here within 25 minutes by car.

We ordered very tasty food from the lunch menu. The waiter served everyone very nicely within a very short time. The atmosphere was very good and the price was great. There is a large parking garage nearby where you can park for one euro per thirty minutes.
