We were there for brunch and it was delicious, we were full and the prices were okay too. Staff very friendly and attentive. DJ also played suitable, relaxed music, which was great.

Small but fine selection of food and drinks. Prices in the higher segment. E.g. cappuccino for €6. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for any service even though it was very empty and there were enough service staff. But service was very nice.

The staff on site was very friendly and helpful! You definitely pay for the view. We had a great view of the harbor and the city :) The drinks and the food selection were also very good and balanced. We were there for breakfast on Saturday and it was surprisingly quiet and relaxed. We were able to start the day calmly and without stress :)

So, the food is really poor as is the service. But the view is fantastic. Can't recommend it to anyone who wants something tasty to eat, but while enjoying the view with a drink it's perfect

I don't usually write reviews on Google very often, but I felt the need to come here and write about our bad experience. The place was empty, as you can see in the picture, and even so, we waited more than an hour for the food, which was nothing special. The staff was friendly, but the place isn't very pretty. The views are beautiful, but the restaurant isn't as pretty... with that purple neon sign... We didn't stay at the hotel, but it seemed like a nice place to stay.

Professional cuisine and service. The view and the ambience were very nice. The service knew what it was doing and fulfilled every wish. The food is of a high standard, but the portion size leaves something to be desired. I was really excited to try this place, as the location and view looks amazing, unfortunately it was below expectations in all mean. The ambiance is nice but the bad service ruined it for me. I went there for my birthday brunch and i was really disappointed. To start with i ordered a cappuccino that arrived almost cold because the service was bad. Then it took the waiter 45 min to get us the menu. The food wasn’t as i hoped, a 20 euros açaí bowl was served nor fresh or cold and with no cutlery. The eggs was fine, but missing alot of attention for basics and details. The view was nice to be fair but everything else was a total turn off. I honestly won’t be recommending it to anyone.

I surprised my girlfriend with a meal here for Valentine's Day: Perfect for the occasion, a Valentine's Day menu was served, which was perfect in all respects. Combined with the wonderful ambience on the 16th floor of a hotel directly on the Rhine, it was truly breathtaking. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend it. Clientele like in a shisha bar, mostly very young. Service employees were overwhelmed, ran back and forth stressed and forgot when you asked them for something. (For example, no one knew or could find out for me what kind of vegetarian tapas there were.) The prawns were then forgotten on the tapa plate (!). These were delivered upon request, but something like that shouldn't happen. You actually expect a drink on the house or something similar as compensation. We couldn't accept the wine that was offered because we had already drunk various cocktails beforehand. So we were just unlucky. So overall, unfortunately a negative experience. Only two positive points: The music was quite good and so was the view from the window seats.

Actually only one star, the service forgot about us (4 people) for the entire evening (4 hours) which is why we left the restaurant quite annoyed. It's actually a shame because it's a really nicely decorated bar and the DJ created a good atmosphere. (2nd star)

We were there for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated at a table full of crumbs, which was only wiped off listlessly and rather roughly upon request. When we asked if there was a drinks menu, we were told that there wasn't one and that currently only coffee, tea and orange juice were offered anyway. We then waited about 20 minutes for the (not freshly squeezed) orange juice. The food order was not taken when the juice was served. Not even half of the tables were occupied, yet the waitress didn't even come to our table for the next hour. Neither to take our order nor to ask whether we are satisfied or have any further requests. She only came to us to take the cards with us and asked if we still needed them. When we then said that we knew what we would like to eat, she took the cards without comment and left. Despite the fact that we were clearly visible and repeatedly drew attention to ourselves, we were ignored. Eventually we decided we wanted to eat somewhere else and pay accordingly. When we finally managed to get the waitress's attention, she replied in a slightly annoyed tone that she would come to us straight away, which of course didn't happen. Only when another dissatisfied visitor vented her displeasure and openly complained to the staff (there were also long waiting times, incorrect orders and frustration at neighboring tables) did the waitress come to us and ask us what we would like to eat. We pointed out to them that we would have liked to order food in principle, but decided against it due to the long waiting times. She apparently didn't accept this feedback, but simply replied that she assumed that a colleague had already been with us. We then had to pay at the checkout. The price for the two juices was kindly waived immediately as a gesture of goodwill. Basically a nice restaurant with a spectacular view, but the service was very disappointing.

Had breakfast here recently. Was served by the really lovely and courteous Cristina. Good food with lots of choice. I can only recommend it!

I reserved a table for New Year's Eve through OpenTable and paid in advance. When my plans changed, I wanted to cancel, but that wasn't possible through OpenTable because it was a "special event." The organizer initially referred me by telephone to an email address that later turned out to be invalid. Despite a surprise cancellation confirmation via OpenTable, I received no response to my refund request. In addition, I was not issued a proper invoice. I was only able to demand my money back after receiving a reminder. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the operator or OpenTable.

A few weeks ago, my partner and I went to The VIEW for the first, and probably last, time to have a drink in the bar in the evening. Therefore I can't comment on the food. When we arrived at the bar, since we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes, which was perfectly fine. But the fact that we had to ask for a drinks menu three times when we were seated and only received it after about 30 minutes - that's bad service. We were then told that there were no more tickets at the moment...It's 2025, you can also make drink tickets available digitally and you should have at least as many tickets as there are chairs...The drinks also take their time Took us to get them were mediocre even though we ordered the signature drinks. After the bill we had to ask again 3 times until someone came. So all in all we waited 15 minutes at the door (there is no real waiting area here), 30 minutes for the drinks menu and another 40 minutes for the bill. That's over an hour's wait for 2 mediocre drinks in a location that unfortunately, due to the pink lighting, looks a bit like it's nothing more than an upscale shisha bar. If you want to have a drink in a stylish atmosphere, I would advise against the VIEW and instead head 15m further to the AuQuai.

I have been to the bar many times and have been very satisfied with both the cocktails and the bar food from the small menu. Yesterday was the first time with five people in the restaurant area. We were impressed by the excellent food. Special requests were also taken into account. The service was first class. You hardly find that anywhere else. The ambience and the view are unique for Düsseldorf. Gladly again!

We went to The View for dinner with a small group (8 people) and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The view over the harbor and the surrounding skyline is simply fantastic in the dark. The service was very attentive and kept asking what we wanted. The pre-ordered menu was first class, a delight from the first bite to the last. The visit was worth it and I'm already looking forward to the next time. Absolutely recommended.

We booked a New Year's Eve menu here on December 31st, 2024, followed by a party. It was really great, food, ambience, service and of course the atmosphere 😀👍 I will definitely book it again 😀👍 There is no better way to celebrate the new year😀👍 Many thanks to the entire team 😀 you did a great job 😀

No question, the food is good, the view is fantastic. But if the service is bad, it can't make up for it. We had to wait 40 minutes to order. The tables were almost all dirty when we arrived, as if they weren't expecting guests. We're talking about a brunch at 11:30 a.m. with just a handful of tables occupied and four service staff, some of whom didn't shine with speed. The waiter in charge seemed completely dazed. Couldn't remember orders that we even repeated. In the end I forgot to have a coffee. But then it wasn't visible at all for a long time, even though it was empty. Seemed completely confused. In the end he overcharged us for breakfast, which we pointed out to him and he also discussed with us. We regularly go out to eat in such a setting, but none of us have ever experienced it. Really disappointing!

The view was truly amazing—you can enjoy a stunning night view of Bangkok right in front of you. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable, the cocktails were well-made, and the meal was small but quite good. The only downside for me was the music, which I didn’t enjoy- too noisy and too loud. But it was just a matter of personal taste.

The negative overall rating is due to an incorrect invoice and the way it was handled. There were 5 people in the evening and ordered 5 drinks. On the bill, at the bottom, after our 5 drinks, there were 2 martinis (approx. €30), which we neither ordered nor received. Unfortunately, I had already paid with a card. 2 minutes later we noticed the error because the total invoice amount had to be too high for our drinks. And we're back to the staff. We then had to wait until the right waiter came back and after the conversation we got the money we overpaid back. However, no one apologized and it seemed calculating to me. It may be that it was an isolated case, but I would definitely recommend checking the receipt. Rating if I exclude this experience: Really good location at the top, nice interior and great view. Live DJ and in the selection of drinks, in addition to the classic drinks, there are also a few of our own creations. Prices are okay for the upscale location. Great view over Düsseldorf. Very stylish bar on the 16th floor of the Melia Innside Hotel in the Media Harbor. Parking is a little more difficult. There is a small parking lot around the corner.

HANDS OFF !!! This is all just fake and rip off. I booked a table through Open Table and was told that the restaurant was overbooked and we had to sit at a lounge table. Instead of á la card, there was a buffet. There's nothing you can do about it, it's the system's fault. Thank you very much, never again. Rude, arrogant and just out for money.

I received a voucher for a breakfast for two in the lounge via mydays.de. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make an appointment for this here. The computer is not used on weekends and therefore inquiries and appointment requests are not processed. When I asked, I received information over the phone. Breakfast appointments must therefore be booked a week in advance. I can do without it. There are also good restaurants where you can have breakfast.

What an incredibly beautiful atmosphere... We really saw and visited a lot but this was another dimension. I can only understand the positive reviews here. Staff is competent and very, very friendly. I was a little disappointed because The View was advertised as being so great on Instagram! Okay, the view is nice from up there and the food is fair and tasty for the price, but you wait a long time for your food and things are a bit chaotic, as you could see. Orders were mixed up or the appropriate guests couldn't be found to order and even the drinks only came to the table much later than the food (and the drink that was ordered wasn't served, but a different one). The DJ's background music was also a bit annoying but that may be a matter of taste. Personally, I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Had a very nice evening and unique service. The non-alcoholic cocktails (we only drink non-alcoholic) were incredibly tasty and we have never had them anywhere else. Nice location anyway and a special thanks to Jan, who was very attentive, friendly and relaxed and mixed the extremely good cocktails for us! We'll definitely be back :)

Brunch at “The View” – for the first and last time First of all: 30 minutes before we arrived there was a fire alarm. It's understandable that everything is a bit confused. But: -Nevertheless, you can expect that your request for a window seat will be taken into account (especially if you have already expressed this in the reservation and there are still free seats) -that you don't have to wait 45 minutes to even order a coffee -that the water glasses are clean -that the floor is not completely full of crumbs (we were there 15 minutes after opening) -the coffee spoons are clean -that the “brioche” is really what it is and not just some dry baked paste -The bench has seen better days (1m next to me the upholstery was completely torn) Added to that -Due to a malfunction in the kitchen, we could only choose between 3 dishes -We had to wait another 45 minutes for this, even though it wasn't particularly full and the bread wasn't really particularly prepared. The positive: -the view is actually really great At least we got 10% and a voucher for a free coffee the next time we go there. I think that won't happen again...

The candlelight dinner is not recommended. After it took weeks to find an appointment, we had to wait over an hour until we had something to eat, despite having booked in advance. This was then explained as an error in the order. It can happen, but then at least buy a drink or something. Unfortunately, the four courses were very sparse (example: a single ravioli) and not really tasty either. We went home hungry, and we were allowed to pay extra for drinks (water), in addition to the €160 for two.

Personally, I didn't have a good experience with the View Skylounge for brunch. There was no drinks menu, so we didn't know the selection or prices of the drinks. When eating we only had a choice of three bread dishes, as there had apparently been a power outage some time before and therefore the kitchen appliances were not yet 100% operational. No problem at all, but what didn't work is that we waited almost two hours for a simple bread with avocado and salad. Something like this can be done within 5 minutes. In addition, all the other guests around us received their food well in advance, even though they arrived much later. I'm assuming our food was forgotten but it wasn't communicated to us. It's a shame actually.

We celebrated our wedding at The View at the end of September. Now we're back to everyday life and definitely want to leave a review because we're as happy as one can be with the location. First of all, the location above the roofs of the Media Harbor is fantastic and offers just such a view. We received excellent support from the event managers Janine, Julia and Thushanti right from the planning phase. They were always available for us and knew what was possible and what wasn't. They came up with great suggestions and were always open to suggestions from us. In the end, the implementation corresponded 100% to our ideas and wishes, thank you for helping us with the final preparations! A huge thank you also to Robin and his service team, who accompanied us the entire time with perfect service. There was never a glass empty and there was always water on the table. Every wish was catered for, everyone was super nice and we had a lot of fun with you! Of course also thanks to the super delicious cocktails! Big compliment to the kitchen too! The buffet was always well stocked, all the dishes were as we wanted them, very tasty and our guests and we are still raving about it. After the celebration, we were able to go straight to our room a few floors below and end the next morning with a delicious breakfast. Thank you for making our dream wedding even more dreamy! Unfortunately a big disappointment. We were really looking forward to a Sunday brunch. When we arrived we were immediately thrilled by the great location. You have a wonderful view over the whole city! However, we were already greeted with the fact that there were technical difficulties due to a fire alarm and that it was taking a while, which we didn't think was bad at all. However, waiting a little bit turned out to mean 2 hours. And that for two sandwiches. It was only upon request (after 1.5 hours) that we were told that our food was now being prepared. The food was tasty, but rather average, so not worth the wait. There was no apology or compensation and in general the service was really bad and inattentive - despite the high standards of the location. It's totally understandable that problems sometimes arise, but dealing with them speaks for itself! I would absolutely not recommend. Not even the great view could comfort us.

Came here last week during our nightly stay in the hotel. Booked a last minute table and it did not disappoint. We had some good service, quality food and good wine. It is not type of restaurant you wanna go and grab a quick bite and go back to your room. It’s more a fancy restaurant to put on some nice clothes and take your time having dinner. The restaurant concludes a bar with a great view as well. Personally we found the pricing of the food and wines very very decent and nothing out of the ordinary.

The attitude towards visitors in this establishment leaves much to be desired. The service is poor and the staff are rude. The service was untimely: the waiter did not consider it necessary to take orders for the main courses and constantly forgot about our drinks. It felt like we had to persuade the staff to serve us. The only pleasant moment was the work of Alexandra, who turned out to be the only friendly and understanding person in the company of the establishment’s staff!

We recently visited this restaurant, hoping to celebrate an important event for us, but, unfortunately, everything went extremely poorly. The acceptance of the order took an incredibly long time - it seemed that we were simply being ignored. When they finally paid attention to us, the staff’s manner of communication left much to be desired: clients were treated with disdain, without the slightest interest. It seems that cordiality and care for guests are not known here at all. They constantly forgot to bring orders; they had to remind themselves several times. This ultimately ruined the whole holiday and mood. It seems that customer focus for this establishment is an empty phrase. The only bright moment in all this is the work of the waitress Alexandra. She was attentive and polite, unlike the others, but, unfortunately, one conscientious employee was not enough to save the overall impression of the evening.

The overall impression was spoiled from the start. It seemed like none of the staff were interested in good service and customers didn't seem to be a priority at all. Basic politeness was lacking and even decency left something to be desired. The order was filled with huge delays and when it was finally brought it didn't even match our order. Instead of apologizing, the staff showed indifference, as if they didn't care at all about our displeasure. The only thing that deserves a positive mention is Alexandra's work. She was the only one who showed attention and care for the guests. Without their professionalism our visit would have been even worse. All in all, we would definitely not recommend this restaurant. The quality of service and behavior of the staff are absolutely unacceptable!

Terrible service, rude staff, except Alexandra, ruined holiday! I was a little disappointed with the ambience. I would have been there on a Friday evening with lots of people. Guests expected, but there were only a few tables occupied. The view is really great. The food tasted really great. Although the portions were manageable, we didn't leave the restaurant hungry, The wine recommendation with the meal was also great! Basically, I would recommend handing out a new edition of the menus. These gave the impression that they were about to shatter. Which is a real shame.

We went there for dinner, I wanted a location with a view. The view is really beautiful, the place is very relaxing ,service is spectacular, this is not a five star hotel but the service at the restaurant is better than a five star restaurant, our waiter Ivan was friendly, knows what he is offering and could give us a description of each dish we where ordering, give us great advices and was very polite and ready to serve and to help every time we call, he went above and beyond his duty to try and serve us in a most elegant and profesional way, service really deserves 5 stars. The Bartender young blond man was spectacular, he really knew how to do cocktails and to present and serve them, we started with cocktails as an appetitive before moving to our table and the cocktails where really fantastic! Also 5 star for the Bartender. The food was also really good creative fusion dishes, very well presented, really good tasting ,perfectly presented, generous portions, The Chef has a lot of imagination and good hand to present and prepare the dishes. Congratulations ! we will for sure be back. we went there expecting nothing and came out very impressed. Enjoy we did had a fantastic dinner.

Fuimos a cenar allí, quería un lugar con vistas. La vista es realmente hermosa, el lugar es muy relajante, el servicio es espectacular, este no es un hotel de cinco estrellas, pero el servicio en el restaurante es mejor que un restaurante de cinco estrellas, nuestro camarero Iván era amable, sabe lo que está ofreciendo y podría darnos una descripción de cada plato que pedimos, nos dan grandes consejos y era muy educado y listo para servir y ayudar cada vez que llamamos, el servicio realmente merece 5 estrellas. El Barman era espectacular, realmente sabía hacer cócteles y presentarlos y servirlos, empezamos con cócteles como aperitivo antes de pasar a nuestra mesa y los cócteles donde realmente fantástico! También 5 estrellas para el camarero. Sin duda volveremos, la comida también era muy buena una fusión y platos creativos, muy bien presentados, platos de muy buen sabor. El Chef tiene mucha imaginación y buena mano para presentar y preparar los platos. ¡Felicidades! Fuimos allí sin esperar nada y salimos muy impresionados. Disfrutamos que tuvimos una cena fantástica.

My partner and I went out to dinner on the occasion of our anniversary, unfortunately the evening wasn't as pleasant as we had hoped. Although the atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious, there was a company party that evening, which made the waiters seem overwhelmed. This resulted in us having to wait a long time for our order to be taken. Overall the atmosphere was very hectic which made us feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the waiters were of course friendly to us. Before making the reservation, I asked whether I could order the harbor menu on site, which was confirmed. However, when I went to order it, I was informed that it was not available due to the company party that evening. I found that very disappointing as I was looking forward to it. I also found the portion sizes to be very small, even though the food tasted really good. There probably won't be a second visit.

Phew…. really hard. Ambience ok, service sometimes takes a long time. If you have to say three times that you want to pay, it's really pushing the limit. When we asked if we wanted bread in advance, which also cost €3, it didn't matter at first. But when a sliced ​​bread roll came, it was ridiculous. The main course tasted ok, nothing more. August 2024 besuchte ich zusammen mit zwei Freunden die Skybar in Düsseldorf, und ich muss leider sagen, dass unsere Erfahrung weit unter den Erwartungen lag, die man an eine renommierte Einrichtung dieses Kalibers stellt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir für über fünf Minuten am Empfang stehen gelassen, ohne dass uns jemand begrüßte oder zu einem Tisch führte. In einer gehobenen Bar erwarte ich einen erstklassigen Service von Anfang an. Schließlich entschieden wir uns, selbst einen Platz zu suchen, da das Personal anscheinend mit den lediglich acht besetzten Tischen überfordert war. Als wir uns schließlich gesetzt hatten, wurden wir von einem Kellner angesprochen, der uns fragte, ob wir nicht empfangen worden seien. Er platzierte uns in der Mitte des Raumes, obwohl wir ausdrücklich einen Tisch am Fenster bevorzugten. Auf unsere Nachfrage hin wurde uns gesagt, dass wir uns umsetzen könnten, sobald ein Fensterplatz frei würde. Als dies schließlich der Fall war und wir uns umsetzten, wurden wir abrupt und in einem unangemessenen Ton von dem angeblichen Leiter des Abends zur Rede gestellt. Er kritisierte unser Verhalten und belehrte uns, dass der Tisch noch nicht gereinigt sei, was wir als herablassend und respektlos empfanden. Selbst in einer Situation, in der Missverständnisse auftreten, sollte das Personal stets höflich und zuvorkommend bleiben. Eine freundliche Erklärung wäre in diesem Fall ausreichend gewesen und hätte die Situation entschärft. Insgesamt war der Besuch in der Skybar eine große Enttäuschung. Der Service war sowohl unaufmerksam als auch unhöflich, was in einer Bar dieser Klasse völlig inakzeptabel ist. Ich kann daher keine Empfehlung aussprechen und werde in Zukunft andere Locations bevorzugen.

We had reserved an area for almost 20 people - the food was great, the atmosphere was great, and the service fulfilled all of our wishes. Thanks to Ivan, Anin, Ben and Facundo!

On August 16, 2024, I visited the Skybar in Düsseldorf with two friends, and I regret to say that our experience was far below the expectations one would have of a renowned establishment of this caliber. When we arrived we were left standing at reception for over five minutes without anyone greeting us or showing us to a table. In an upscale bar, I expect first-class service from the start. Finally we decided to look for a place ourselves as the staff seemed to be overwhelmed with only eight tables occupied. When we finally sat down, we were approached by a waiter who asked us if we hadn't been welcomed. He seated us in the middle of the room even though we specifically preferred a table by the window. When we asked, we were told that we could be moved as soon as a window seat became available. When this finally happened and we moved around, we were confronted abruptly and in an inappropriate tone by the supposed leader of the evening. He criticized our behavior and lectured us that the table hadn't been cleaned yet, which we found to be condescending and disrespectful. Even in a situation where misunderstandings occur, staff should always remain polite and courteous. In this case, a friendly explanation would have been sufficient and would have defused the situation. Overall, the visit to the Skybar was a big disappointment. The service was both inattentive and rude, which is completely unacceptable in a bar of this caliber. I can therefore not make a recommendation and will prefer other locations in the future.

Everyone was very friendly, very good reception. Our waiter Ivan, who was responsible for us, was great. Everything works and we booked through mydays.

Ich bin kürzlich nach Erkrath gezogen und wollte einen angenehmen Abend verbringen. Es bediente mich ein sehr netter Kellner, Herr Ivan, Ben, Jan, Hasayin. Die Bedienung war hervorragend, Herr Hasayin hat meinen Cocktail sogar selbst zubereitet. Insgesamt waren alle Kellner sehr zuvorkommend. Am späten Abend habe ich noch eine Kleinigkeit gegessen und bin anschließend mit dem Taxi nach Erkrath zurück gefahren. Gerne komme ich wieder! This lounge & bar is a hit!!! The view over the whole of Düsseldorf is stunning... both in the morning and in the evening. The service leaves nothing to be desired. Very presentable, but not intrusive... that's how you imagine excellent service. The food was excellent!!! Vegetarian options are also included at breakfast. When it comes to coffee ☕️ there is a selection of normal milk, as well as oat and soy milk. The same goes for muesli, of course. There is also enough for vegetarians for breakfast. The dinner was, as expected, excellent. Compliments to the chef! This bar is located on the 16th floor of the Hotel Inside Hafen near Melia, and is easily accessible via the elevator. A clear recommendation from me!!! As soon as I am back in Düsseldorf I will definitely visit this lounge & bar.

I visited the restaurant for dinner with my friend this evening. We are both very, very enthusiastic about everything. Above all, the waiter in charge was so professional and attentive that we had a very successful evening. The quality of the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the Kokteyls. The price-performance ratio was very convincing. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Delicious food, attentive service and a chic first impression. The VIEW – the name says it all. On the 16th floor of the hotel, the restaurant offers a sweeping view of Düsseldorf. Depending on where you sit, you have a view of the harbor or the neighboring town of Neuss. The food was lovingly and beautifully prepared. We had the tomato variation and the tartare. Both were delicious and the quality of the individual components was top. However, the tartare could have been a bit more, but it was just the starter. For the main course we ordered the veal entrecôte with mashed potatoes and chanterelles. In terms of taste, the dish really appealed to us. Both pieces of meat were just a little too fatty. We would have liked a little more quantity for the hefty price. The dessert, the chocolate variation, was excellent. Almost everything was right here, except for the jelly. In our opinion, that shouldn't have been on the plate. Still recommended! The service was very good. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. He gave us good advice and was always there when we wanted to order something to drink or reorder. We were also informed when we could expect the next course. At first glance the restaurant looks modern and stylish, but at second glance you can see that it has already hosted a few guests. It wouldn't hurt the ambience if you dusted the window sills or cleaned the radiators of stains. A more lively table decoration would also be desirable. The service we had was very attentive and did its job completely. Our meals were tasty, but the quantities could have been a little larger. A visit is recommended for anyone with a small appetite and a desire for good service.

Unfortunately the evening was very bad today, we had a candlelight dinner. Very poor selection, the soup is a smooth 6, water with cream and oil. Pea soup looks different. Both of our glasses were not clean. Unfortunately, this store has slacked off a lot. for 169 euros for 2 people there should be more. Price performance doesn't fit at all. Dear people, please remember cleanliness and quality work.

Love the view there. Also the light music. Always a very nice place to chill. Ideal for couples, dates, etc. If you just want to have a chat, the bar offers an atmosphere for that. Even if you don't know whether you want to eat or just drink.

The ambience and bar are very nice with great live music. From our point of view, the price-performance ratio is not right. A cocktail for €17 that doesn't come close to those from other bars in terms of taste. The service was inattentive and we probably had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come over to order or pay, even though the bar wasn't full. That could be better, hence the 2 star deduction.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Der Service durch unseren Kellner Iwan war einfach perfekt. Diese Lokation werden wir bestimmt wieder besuchen.

The drinks here are very exclusive and the ambience is very classy. But above all, we were impressed by the waiter. It's best to let Ivan serve you. This man just has it. Class service.

Unfortunately we only had one seat in the middle, even though some of the tables by the window were empty all evening. Food was very good and service excellent. A cocktail that tasted very bitter was first made again and then replaced with another cocktail. That's service!!

We only had a few cocktails in the Skylounge and didn't eat anything! The service was very friendly and attentive. Good selection of cocktails. The ambience is great and from the 16th floor you have a great view of Düsseldorf and the Media Harbor. Definitely worth a visit!

Staff more than needs improvement!!! It is very shocking that friendliness and respect are alien to the staff. Also shocking is the racist behavior that was displayed by the staff (receptionist) during our visit. I've never experienced anything like that!

Restaurant im obersten Stockwerk (16) des Melia Hotels im Medienhafen mit - bei gutem Wetter - toller Aussicht über Düsseldorf. Neben dem Restaurantbereich ist auch eine große Bar dort und - wenigstens an diesem Abend - ein DJ. Somit war das Geräuschniveau höher, aber nicht unangenehm. Bestuhlung was Düsseldorf-typisch eng, aber da das Restaurant nicht ganz ausgebucht war, war es okay. Wir hatten das 5-Gang Hafenmenü, welches sehr gut zubereitet und präsentiert war und sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Auch die Qualität der offenen Rot- und Weissweine war sehr gut. Der Service war zwar sehr freundlich, jedoch dauerte das Essen deutlich zu lange, fast 3 Stunden für ein 5-Gänge Menü sind viel zu lang. Preislich war alles okay, einzig das Bier empfand ich als sehr teuer. Ich würde wiederkommen.

Restaurant on the top floor (16) of the Melia Hotel in the Medienhafen with - when the weather is good - a great view over Düsseldorf. In addition to the restaurant area, there is also a large bar and - at least on this evening - a DJ. So the noise level was higher, but not unpleasant. The seating was typically narrow in Düsseldorf, but since the restaurant wasn't fully booked, it was okay. We had the 5-course harbor menu, which was very well prepared and presented and tasted very good. The quality of the open red and white wines was also very good. The service was very friendly, but the meal took far too long, almost 3 hours for a 5-course menu is far too long. Everything was okay in terms of price, I only found the beer to be very expensive. I would come back.

I had a wonderful evening with my best friend yesterday. The atmosphere and the view are simply delightful. The food was sensational and delicious. And the waitress did everything perfectly, recommended the best wine and cocktail and took great care of us throughout the evening. Thanks Ivan again for this! The evening will be remembered!

Great bar and nice restaurant on the 16th floor. Worth it for a special evening over Düsseldorf. The bar and restaurant share the same room upstairs. Restaurant and bar not over-candied but simply with style. There are bar tables and lounge corners for the bar. The music isn't too intrusive. Simply go to the 16th floor and enjoy drinks and cocktails at the bar. Magnificent view over the whole of Düsseldorf. Music wasn't too loud and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was top. From the first second at the reception until the farewell. This is how you make guests happy. Friendly and attentive. The cocktails explained in detail with wit and humor. We previously redeemed a voucher for candle light dinner for 142.00. The menu was good and the staff was outstanding. Everything was delicious but 142 set the standard. The asparagus cream soup is top. Doesn't get any better. The asparagus foam is great. Salad with goat cheese is unfortunately too simple. Shrimp cocktail 2x mini spoons - not enough. Hummus with pumpkin and curry is awesome. The main course was the highlight. Perfect sauce.Perfect meat. Dessert - vanilla pudding with mango and hard waffle didn't appeal to me Don't get me wrong, everything was delicious. But 142 - I see as more of a gift. I would prefer the menu. The location also deserves a menu concept with a bar visit afterwards. We had the time slot from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then stayed at the bar until late into the night. The drinks generally remain normal. Aperol 7.50 Glass of red wine 9.00 Beer 5.00 Cocktails with quality 15.00 All appropriate. You don't pay extra for the location. That's the right decision ;-) It was a great evening. Keep it up. Thank you.

I wanted to spend a nice evening here with my wife today. Unfortunately, we were simply sent to our stools at the entrance without much attention. After I asked a colleague if we could sit somewhere else, they said there was no space and there were still free tables. When I gave him the hint we were allowed to move around. When we received the drinks menu and the menu, I wanted to order something small to eat and drinks, and was then told that the kitchen was closed. Unfortunately, I don't know what you need a kitchen for when it comes to nachos and why they present us with the menu, but oh well. Conclusion: Very unfriendly staff, we will definitely not be coming back. Even if the view is really beautiful!

The bar is very nice, the music is also pleasant and not too loud, you can have a good conversation, nice atmosphere, nice waiters too, but unfortunately they take too long either they don't have enough staff or they work very slowly

We received a very friendly welcome and enjoyed a very tasty aperitif in the lounge We then moved to the restaurant to eat and had the harbor menu there. Price/performance is 👍, the service was extremely attentive and friendly 🤩 and the quality of the food left nothing to be desired! It was our first time there, but definitely not our last. Many thanks to the team for this lovely evening 😍

We were there last night (March 20, 2024) from around 10 p.m. to have a drink (as "not hotel guests" - just take the elevator to the 16th floor). Nice view of Düsseldorf / the harbor, very friendly staff and our 2 non-alcoholic cocktails were also very tasty. We'd love to come back.

The View is a good bar at the Medienhafen. The bar itself is beautifully decorated and the service is very accommodating. The cocktails and mocktails are OK, they look very fancy but the taste is nothing special. Of the drinks I drank that evening, I liked the one with the cherry the best. Unfortunately there wasn't much going on that Saturday evening. I would highly recommend the bar for dialogues or getting-to-know-you dates as the music is not too loud and the bar is rather quieter.
