The staff was friendly and quick with the orders. However, I am more than disappointed with my meal of sea bream fillet. I don't want to complain about the taste, but rather about the quantity. It was more of a salad with the sea bream as a side dish.

I stopped at the Se(h)blick restaurant on several days last week. The restaurant appears to be leaderless, but not soulless. The many summer temporary workers ensure this with their lightness and friendliness, which (in my case) made up for the confrontation with the inflexibility in the kitchen. Particularly noteworthy is Lucas, who made me feel like a friend and king during my/our visits. Having lived in Spain and the Arab Emirates for a long time, I am familiar with and prefer a hearty “you” to a stilted “you”. Dear Lucas, I say “thank you” and “keep it up” to you and your colleagues, who have their hearts in the right place! P.S.: I use the numerical masculine to preserve the flow of reading and speaking in our beautiful German language and assume that everyone can understand the personal meaning using their intelligence.

Card payments are only possible from €20 and the service is not adapted to the number of visitors.

A short “vacation day” was spent in a relaxed atmosphere by the lake. Attentive service and a breakfast with everything you could wish for. Recommended.

Tested for the first time. The food was great. The service was very friendly, professional and attentive. The restaurant was very crowded outside and a bit loud at times. You had to sit at the table with others, which certainly doesn't suit everyone. It was empty inside, which was probably due to the beautiful view over the lake and the warm weather. The food came quickly for such a full restaurant and was great. Almost all places are well protected with parasols or pavilions. Overall - thanks to the good service, which was well supported by many helpers with clearing and serving, it was a pleasure and a pleasant experience. Parking is free for one hour, then a 2 euro day ticket. Parking can be paid by cash, card or app. Even boomers can operate the pay machine. The food was good value for money. Not cheap, but portable. Dogs can easily find space under the large tables. The waiters also routinely stepped over large dogs that were in the way. The menu offers manageably good starters, main courses and desserts, delicious ice cream and refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I will definitely come back just because of the good food and the good staff.

The location right on the lake is wonderful. It was very nice there, the cafe latte was delicious, and there is a boat rental right there. A 2-seater pedal boat cost 12 euros per hour and a deposit of 25 euros is charged. The 25 euros will then be offset against the fare, which will then be billed per minute of delay.

So I've been back to the visual restaurant for a long time. I am very pleasantly surprised. The prices are, let's say, okay. Definitely completely acceptable for the food I got. The food was really good 😊. Well then I guess I'll have to come back more often...

The actually beautiful location is unfortunately ruined by the overpriced prices and the IMPOSSIBLE service. With the terrace 1/3 full, we sat for 20 minutes to order. Although we made our presence known, the older waitress calmly picked up other guests and chatted with them for some time. When we were finally allowed to order, she was still rude. Never again!!

I love it there. It doesn't matter whether you just want to drink a very tasty coffee, treat yourself to a cocktail or want something to eat, everything tastes simply excellent. The service was always very friendly and there was a great view of the lake. Just lovely! We have been there several times now and would love to come back. A nice place to unwind, enjoy and just have a good time. Thanks to the whole team, you're doing a really good job! And the chef (the cook?) gets an extra star from me. Priced in the middle range but absolutely justified compared to what you get.

Even though the location of the restaurant is really nice and the staff is very friendly, I have to say that the price/performance ratio here is far from right!! I paid just under €70 for a tomato soup, a tiny portion of Kaiserschmarrn and a turkey schnitzel with five potatoes, as well as four non-alcoholic drinks!? Honestly, that's bordering on a rip-off!!

Very brilliant location directly on Lake Unterbacher. We had breakfast and dinner there and both times we had a great time. The view over the lake, especially in the evening, is unsurpassed. Price/performance ratio is ok. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Just as a side note, it has less to do with the restaurant: I find it a disgrace that you now have to pay for the parking space (or rather pothole desert) for an hour or more. If everything was okay, I could live with it.

Simply far too expensive... more expensive than holiday hotspots... you now think twice about whether you want to enjoy a cool drink there, let alone eat something. ---- July 6th, 2024: really terrible. Based on my perception, I don't believe that native Düsseldorfers still bring their money here. We have once again been confirmed negative.

The food was delicious and large, very large portions, so I had to take the rest to go. The latte macchiato was so-so, but the ice cream was a huge portion, the three of us ate it. I heartily recommend it

Of course, you pay for the location here. The portions could be a bit larger in some cases (especially the Kaiserschmarrn). The waffles, on the other hand, were a good portion. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed it.

Went there last Friday to go pedal boating with my date and then spontaneously went to the restaurant to have a drink and something to eat. But the anticipation of the €16 chicken burger quickly turned into huge disappointment. I wouldn't even be able to make such a cheap burger at home. Absolutely cannot recommend the juice shop. Although the location isn't bad when the weather is good...

It was the first time at Unterbacher See. At the end of the round it was a good idea to stop off at the Se(e) restaurant. There are a variety of seating options here, there are armchairs and benches available inside and outside, as well as bar stool tables outside and particularly nice deck chairs in the sand (in which children can also play) with a view of the small marina and the lake. Very nice! The staff is very friendly, courteous and customer-oriented. The wheat beer was poured perfectly from the bottle (unfortunately not a given😉). Next time I'll try one of the small and delicious menus. Clear recommendation!

Actually a very nice location with a great view of the lake. Coffee and waffles are good, the staff is nice, but they are lagging behind the spirit of the times here, as there is neither decaffeinated coffee nor lactose-free milk alternatives...there is still room for improvement in service for guests who have intolerances...

Would you like a little holiday feeling? Then off to Unterbacher See in this restaurant. A small piece of sandy area with deck chairs gives you a little holiday feeling. The menu is clear but varied, and the prices are a little higher. Next door there is a pedal boat rental where children aged 12 and over can be entertained on their own and parents can take a moment to breathe ;) We come here regularly and just unwind with a cool Altbier with a view of the lake...

The area outside the restaurant is for self-catering, which is great. The restaurant is always crowded on weekends. The staff is grumpy. You have to wait at the entrance until you are picked up. Too expensive, food offered so-so. But the view is very nice.

We waited forever before we could even order our drinks. The service was very taciturn and completely annoyed. Feeling welcome feels different. Then the waiting time for the food was very long and my Kaiserschmarrn was simply drowned in fat. That had absolutely nothing to do with Kaiserschmarrn. And the price was very steep for that...the ambience is great, located by the lake but that's about it. You won't see me there a second time.

A typical excursion location. This only works when the weather is good, on weekends and public holidays. So you have to ask yourself, on how many days can they earn money? In order for it to be somewhat worthwhile over the year, you have to be a little more expensive than the brewery in the city center. Against this background, the price-performance ratio is absolutely correct. And I come from the village... Parking for the whole day €2. 6 km around the lake is free. Approx. 75 minutes of leisurely walking.

Have visited several times - the location is simply beautiful and the view is like a little vacation. The food is okay - but nothing special. Very nice view of Lake Unterbacher. Probably much more beautiful in summer than on a rainy winter day. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, this was truly the worst coffee I've had in a long time. There is no latte macchiato on the menu. Instead I ordered a café latte. I got a latte macchiato in a glass. Not suitable for coffee lovers.

Rotten meat!!! I could throw up. For a whopping 18 euros I got a plate filled with 6 fries and a 10-day-old burger. The bread was totally dry and old, and the meat - I'm really at a loss for words here! The meat was just rotten - rotten meat!!! We should sue the store! It's simply a disgrace to serve people such rubbish that can even lead to illness, just to make money. Pure rip off! The service is also a complete disaster. Totally rude and rude. Never again! Sehr schön im Herbst und bestimmt ganz besonders herrlich im Sommer. Sehr gepflegte Speisen (in unserem Fall: Frühstück) in einem schönen Restaurant in der Natur mir Ausblick auf einen See. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und schnell. Empfehlenswert!

Na gut, da "irgenjemand" gegen meine keineswegs beleidigende oder falsche Rezension vorgegangen ist, gibt es nochmals Punktabzug. Trinken kann man dort etwas, aber mein dringender Tipp: esst woanders! Meine vorherige Rezension war zwar deutlich bildhafter und konnte auch darlegen, warum die Küche ausgesprochen viel "Optimierungspotenzial" hat, aber daran scheint man nicht arbeiten zu wollen. Ist ja auch einfacher, die Rezension zu melden. Oder man kann einfach besser mit dem PC als mit dem Kochlöffel umgehen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit super Blick auf den Unterbachersee. Nach einem Spaziergang kann man hier gut eine Auszeit mit zbsp. Kaffe und Kuchen machen sowie sich mit diversen anderen Speisen stärken. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch noch draußen unter einem überdachten Pavillon die letzten Sonnenstrahlen genießen. Preis Leistungverhältnis, so la la, eine Tasse Tee für über drei Euro, 😳ein bisschen übertieben.Aber ansonsten, na ja halt.🙃Das Personal ist dagegen nicht wirklich aufmerksam, sondern macht eher teilweise einen genervten Eindruck. Anders geht dies anscheinend nur bei besonderen Stammkunden.😏 Ansonsten schön idyllischen.😉

Die Location ist toll. Der Blick zum See wie im Urlaub. ABER, der Service ist inzwischen sehr schlecht geworden und das mäßig gute Essen dafür unverschämt teuer. Nachdem man ins beim letzten Besuch offensichtlich abgestande Cola serviert hat, werden wir nicht wieder kommen. Auf unsere Reklamation ist man gar nicht eingegangen und meinte nur frech, das könne nicht sein und müsse an der Marke Sinalco liegen. Die volle Cola hat man uns voll berechnet. Nie wieder!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lake Restaurant at the Shipyard, and I must say it was an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance and beautiful lake views captivated me.

Die Preise sind heftig. Gerade auch für Getränke. Aber man sitzt dort schön mit Blick auf den See. Das Essen ist sehr gut.
