Black Angus 300g taken. Was quite good. Nothing to complain about. The waiter was very good. The manager, however, took a small salad, sat across from me and watched me while I ate. I have to say that I went there in sweatpants and a cap and looked like a bum. But a good restaurant doesn't recognize a good customer by their clothing. Tipped generously so you could learn for the future. Clothes don't make the man, dear GF! As you see so often 🙃

The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. You can only order a second drink with a lot of patience. The staff prefers to chat instead of paying attention to the guests

This steakhouse still seems authentic, without the tourist crowding that you see in other places. You can even watch the chefs prepare it. The ambience is well-kept, the service is friendly and attentive and the food is very tasty. Here, for example, fresh vegetables are fried/steamed. We had rump steak and salmon and can recommend both.

The restaurant in the pedestrian zone appears very inconspicuous and is quickly overlooked. If it hadn't been recommended to us by friends, we would never have ended up there. The ambience up on the first floor is very nice and cozy. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious, the meat was cooked to perfection and of top quality. The restaurant is only recommended. We'd love to come back.

Great and delicious food, location on the top floor in a shopping street, but it does not detract from the atmosphere. Friendly staff who asks for tip money, don't do it, you get more.

The Schnitzel Cordon Bleu was really well prepared, I am completely satisfied with both the taste and the price-performance ratio. However, the staff could have been a little friendlier. Although the dining area is quite comfortable, the toilets desperately need cleaning! ✨🌹

The restaurant in the pedestrian zone seems very inconspicuous, we have walked past it so many times, but yesterday we ate there for the first time. The atmosphere up on the first floor is very nice and cozy, we sat in the second row to the window and could still look out wonderfully. The staff is very friendly and the food came to the table quickly and was very tasty, the meat was cooked to perfection. We'd love to come back.

An inconspicuous entrance on Hohe Straße 73-75 in Cologne city center. But there is a relatively large restaurant on the first floor with lots of seating - also suitable for groups. Table can be reserved online. Very fast and good service (today by Samir). Rump steak 200 g (medium) with baked potatoes and a good, fresh salad with bread for a total of under 30 euros. It tasted very good. Gladly again!

This was unexpected, went here because my husband used to went here a lot when we was younger, the service was good, we got nice table by the window, the meats were high quality, we would come here again for sure, as a tourist it would be hard for me to find the entrance, but worry not.. can just ask the locals

Excellent cuisine & service. Although centrally located on Hohestrasse in Cologne and on the 1st floor, it's an absolute tip for anyone who likes steak. Meat is prepared to perfection and tastes excellent.

A great restaurant, unfortunately a bit hidden with a small entrance and then on the 1st floor. Very good steaks and with really numerous variations and side dishes. There were four of us and we had four different dishes, which were all served together and tasted very good. Great salads as a side dish and very friendly and fast service. We'd love to come back because everything was great.

Very nice welcome and friendly, friendly service. We had two burger menus with curly fries and a side salad. The taste of the meat and the quantity was good, only the sauce from the salad takes some getting used to. But we would come again and can recommend the small steakhouse.

I was there last night with my boyfriend and the waiter was very rude. He told us that we should order very quickly and even though I speak German well, he pretended not to understand me. After he brought the food, I talked to my boyfriend. I was doing it, and when he saw that we were not eating, he loudly said: (People here must eat) an old guy with glasses. Very rude and bad manners. I am also a waiter, but I am always kind, not racist

I was there last night with my girlfriend and the waiter was very rude. He told us to order very quickly, and even though I speak German well, he acted like he didn't understand me. After he brought the food, I talked to my girlfriend. I was just there, and when he saw that we weren't eating, he said loudly: (People here have to eat) An old gentleman with glasses. Very rude and with bad behavior. I'm a waiter too, but I'm always friendly, not racist!

The service conveys the feeling that they think they are the best, but it wasn't that good. Tough, don't ask how “well done” your meat should be. And very stuffy inside, no terrace! Relatively expensive.

When we entered the restaurant the waiting staff were just chatting sitting down at tables right as you entered. No one said anything to us and we were eventually told to just pick a table. I ordered chimichurri with my flank steak and it was horrific. I'm annoyed I didn't take a picture. It was a brown mess and tasted extremely old. I complained and they said they use many herbs and it is always brown. Chimichurri is a lovely dressing with a vibrant green colour normally and should taste like it looks, vibrant and full of herbs. This one sadly tasted like it looked. They did remove it from the bill which was nice of them. During our time eating there was a waiter standing in a chair in the middle of the restaurant adjusting how low the lights were hanging. This simply isn't acceptable, do it before opening. Steak was cooked fine and our waitress was good. If you are going on a date, the interior is extremely tired and worn and the food doesn't make up for it so keep that in mind. Avoid this place. There are many other steak restaurants.

Inconspicuously located from the outside in the pedestrian zone, after taking the elevator (or stairs) you will find an excellent steakhouse. Quality is excellent, service is quick, reservations are helpful.

A very nice, cozy restaurant, which also offers people like me, with more pounds on the ribs and wider hips, very comfortable seats that invite you to linger for a long time. The service is courteous, friendly and yet not too intrusive. The food is quite okay for the quality and size of the portions. The central location directly in the Hohe Straße pedestrian zone really invites you to come here after a beautiful day in Cologne. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

The food was good, the service was very good. In principle, you can recommend it if you get a correct invoice at the end. That wasn't the case. We received a receipt - not an invoice - without a TSE signature. Hence deducting a few stars.

Hello, I was in a small steakhouse today. I ate penne with salmon for 14.90 euros. Not recommended, unfortunately the salmon died twice, the second time it was fried to death. Unfortunately there is no price match. The toilets very dirty!!! And the photos that are posted don't quite correspond to reality. No longer worth a visit!

Very good, inconspicuous restaurant from the outside with excellent service. We ate there with a larger group and were served very quickly and, above all, in a friendly manner. The food was ready quite quickly, was of good quality and everyone was satisfied. In addition, the prices for food and drinks were fair. I recommend this steakhouse without reservation.

Excellent steak would visit again. I did visit again the next night but Google didn't ask me to review for some reason so adding it to this one. Went again the following night and had the 400g Huftsteak, it was amazing with nothing left on my plate at the end. Would definitely recommend this place

Food was delicious. The boss didn't like that we wanted to pay separately. Because of a mistake, he behaved rudely and conspicuously talked to his colleague about our table and pointed to the table. The sales of 6 people are outrageous.

It was absolutely one of the best steakhouse experiences of mine in Cologne. I have to mention that portions are pretty big. Chef deserves 5 star! Also service is fast enough. It’s a place I’d recommend highly if you are craving for a tasty meat!

I have just left restaurant. I ordered filetsteak which was moderate. More important problem, there is minimum one mouse inside. While i was eating it was moving between tables. I informed chef immediately. Their reaction is pity; “There are lots of mouses in Cologne. They are coming from contruction. Doors are open.” For me it is not acceptable. Even i said there should be mother and father or others they accepted mouses in the restaurant as normal. Never recommend.

The food was, as always, very good. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pork medallions were very tender. The vegetables that came with it were also very good. The service was very friendly and very quick. Here you can enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere.

I haven't eaten steak before I went to this restaurant, but at the Little Steakhouse I had the best steak I've ever eaten. Since then, the restaurant has been visited on every day trip to Cologne. Tip: the lunch menu is great and very cheap for the quality you get. The service is always nice and courteous. Definitely recommended!

Probably the worst service I’ve had in Germany. They were rude when they sat me, they hurried me through ordering and didn’t ask anything about how I’d like my steak cooked, they ignored me while I waited, and then they asked for a tip when I paid. The food was good but this was terrible, terrible service.

Highly Recommended! We only ended up here by chance on Sunday, but we didn't regret it :) Top service and delicious food made us very happy. The promotion on Sundays that the children eat for free is awesome :) we were pleasantly surprised!

The food was exceptional but the waiter ignored me for a long period of time and then asked me to give a tip. I don't think that's appropriate for a high class dining.

We stopped by shortly after 5 p.m. on a Saturday, spontaneously as a couple, and got a table without any problems. And it was already well attended. We ordered a pepper sirloin steak with fries and a mixed grill plate with rosemary potatoes and vegetables. Plus alcohol-free wheat. A salad with bread was served beforehand. The sirloin steak was on point and the meat from the mixed grill plate was top, as were the side dishes. Everything was perfect for us that day, thank you!

I am really very disappointed because this was my “go-to” restaurant when I was traveling in Cologne. The food was super tasty and the service was also very friendly. But when a mouse ran between our feet after dinner, we changed our minds. We mentioned it to the waitress... then there wasn't even a price reduction or anything similar. Unfortunately, very disappointing..

When asked if there was anything left available, the service seemed very abrupt and short-tempered, even a bit unpleasant. After sitting down we had someone who was very nice professional and quick. The steak was fried as intended and the side dishes were very solid. Unfortunately, the lava cake was in the oven for too long and was completely cooked through.

Great steakhouse. In my opinion the best in all of Cologne. I had the grill plate and the meat was great. The rump steak was butter tender. I think the price is absolutely great. Very nice atmosphere and in the middle of the shopping mile in Cologne. Very nice and courteous staff. Definitely not my last visit. Go on like this.

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the overall environment feels great. By the way, the portion size is really big, one appetizer plus one main meal for one person is about the same.
