I thought the food was very good and the window seat was also very nice. I also really enjoyed the fries.

The service was good. We were greeted warmly and got our food quickly. The ambience was also great. Had a great seat by the window. We had turkey steak with vegetables and grilled potatoes with salad. The steak and vegetables were very tasty. The salad wasn't quite to my taste but OK. Unfortunately, I hardly had any grilled potatoes on my plate. It was already wrapped and very mealy. Add a huge portion of sour cream on top. The chili cheeseburger was quite good. You'll definitely get full and the price is right.

Great little steakhouse. We had garlic mushrooms to start. For mains I had the lamb cutlets and my boyfriend had the 400g rump steak. Food was amazing, only slight issue was my boyfriend asked for his steak to be cooked medium, and it was more on the rare side. Cocktails were also lovely.

Went here a few days ago. Ordered a ribeye, got a rump. Mushroom sauce was still had lumps of uncooked roux, condiments where served in McDonald's style sachets. Fries are cheap frozen supermarket fries which where hard and dry. The only thing I liked where the serving staff who where great.

The burger and the goulash were very good. Unfortunately the burger bun wasn't on the grill and was therefore very dry.

We ate here for the first time today with our 8 year old daughter. Great ambience, extremely friendly service, very good price-performance ratio, super tasty steak and baked potato. What impressed us was the children's menu. Tasty dishes are offered for €6.90. Our daughter chose a schnitzel with fries. The portion was equivalent to an adult portion and it was super tasty. We'll definitely be back ✨

As every year when we are in Cologne over Christmas, we visit the small steakhouse. Not easy to find if you're a stranger (it's on the first floor of the shopping street and you don't look up that often) but the view of the people at the rear is all the better. In my opinion, price/performance is very good. We have never been disappointed. The waiters are very friendly and the food comes to the table very quickly, even though the restaurant was always full when we visited.

Ate here with a friend. Arrived without a reservation and was told until what time a spot was available. We both had the schnitzel (turkey or pork variant). After ordering, a simple, but delicious salad and a bread basket soon arrived on the table, as well as our ordered drinks. This came standard with the main course. Food was very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Location perhaps less convenient, because if we hadn't looked it up, I think we would have walked past it. Located in the shopping street on the 1st floor. There are stairs and an elevator.

Good steak but bad service. The older waiter with glasses stopped smiling the moment we asked for the lunch menu. If you're reluctant to sell lunch menu, stop promoting it then. There was an accident with spilled drink on the table and he grumbled as he came to clean it up, and never even bother to ask if we want to order another drink, which isn't smart for a waiter, first he forgot to upsell, and second it is just plain service after you see the customer has no more drink on the table. We have had it with the service by then, so we didn't bother to order anything else. He only smile when it's about time to present the bill and he had the gall to ask for tip. Wow. We certainly will not come back. Plenty other places serves great steaks in town.

We had dinner here 9 years ago and yesterday we had a delicious meal again. I had tried the flank steak and it was cooked perfectly. Everyone else was happy too and we had a great time. I would also like to emphasize that there is even a lunch menu on Saturdays with discounted menu offers.

Small restaurant in the main street of Cologne, adequate service. We ordered the mixed grill 3 times and it was excellent! The service doesn't ask how you want it prepared, but it is wonderfully tender the way they prepare it as standard. They are generous with the portions, we couldn't finish the main course. Top restaurant on a busy Sunday evening!

Were yesterday December 14th. on a little men's tour. I got a nice recommendation for this restaurant beforehand. What can I say, it was worth it. The food and service were just great... Maybe again next time when we start our men's culture trip from the Moselle towards Cologne..☺️

A little hidden restaurant on the first floor, but in the middle of the old town on Hohe Straße. Good quality, quick service. We ordered a Martini Rosso without ice. I wouldn't have guessed that it would be warm. But I didn't think that was so bad. The food was good, steak with champions. But I was missing something. In any case, I thought it was good value for money. Overall recommended.

Great restaurants, located in the busy shopping streets of Cologne. The entrance was a little bit hidden, but once in, the atmosphere was really great, the stuff was very friendly, and the food was very good. Really good value for money, especially when you go for lunch.

The restaurant in the pedestrian zone seems very inconspicuous, we have walked past it so many times, but yesterday we ate there for the first time. The atmosphere up on the first floor is very nice and cozy, we sat in the second row to the window and could still look out wonderfully. The staff is very friendly and the food came to the table quickly and was very tasty, the meat was cooked to perfection. We'd love to come back.

We were walking on the pedestrian zone in Cologne and discovered it by chance. We come in just before half past four. Until then you can order from the lunch menu. We kindly asked if we could still order some if possible, which was answered in the affirmative. Three ordered one from the normal lunch menu. The drinks came very quickly. Shortly afterwards the salad. It was fresh with a dressing. A short time later the main course. We were surprised at how delicious everything was. My husband was thrilled with his steak. But everything else was also good. We would definitely go there again if we were in Cologne.

We've eaten in other restaurants several times, unfortunately we can only give 1 star for the steaks, side dishes were ok... the only good thing was the nice waiters. Price/performance ratio isn't right, so we wouldn't come here to eat again.

Personally, the food always tastes great to me. The ambience on the first floor on the right wasn't really my thing, but the left side definitely was... We definitely always enjoy eating there

Perfect service! We were there with 21 people. Everyone got their food hot at the same time. It's rare to find such good service. The drink replenishment was also great. Price-performance very good. Steak perfectly on point. We'll definitely go there again.

Everything happened very quickly and tasted great. I just didn't think the "Dubai chocolate cake" tasted the same as Dubai chocolate. The rest was perfect.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant! My son and I enjoyed the prawns as a starter - and best of all: our wish to have them without garlic was fulfilled without any problems. I really thought that was great! For the main course I had a delicious rump steak with baked potatoes, which was simply excellent. My husband chose the rack of lamb and was also thrilled. Rather inconspicuously located in the pedestrian zone, but with a nice atmosphere inside. The background noise was already louder, but we were still able to enjoy our food. Steak to the point - the potato gratin is a delight. Prices completely reasonable. And if you need a lot of protein, choose the Tomahawk Steak!

We came across this steakhouse late in the evening while looking for a restaurant. The waiter didn't seem enthusiastic about accepting guests shortly before the kitchen closed. But we got our food and the waiter made the espresso before the machine was cleaned. To eat, the salad was fantastic. Crisp, fresh and an extremely delicious dressing. My cordon bleu was the best vegetable I've eaten in a restaurant in a long time. Unfortunately I had to neglect the fries. My husband's steak was on point, the sauce was incredibly tasty and the amount of fries was perfectly balanced. However, my husband was most pleased with the Peugeot spice mills. All in all, we are super satisfied and can only recommend this small steakhouse.

Black Angus 300g taken. Was quite good. Nothing to complain about. The waiter was very good. The manager, however, took a small salad, sat across from me and watched me while I ate. I have to say that I went there in sweatpants and a cap and looked like a bum. But a good restaurant doesn't recognize a good customer by their clothing. Tipped generously so you could learn for the future. Clothes don't make the man, dear GF! As you see so often 🙃

This steakhouse still seems authentic, without the tourist crowding that you see in other places. You can even watch the chefs prepare it. The ambience is well-kept, the service is friendly and attentive and the food is very tasty. Here, for example, fresh vegetables are fried/steamed. We had rump steak and salmon and can recommend both.

The restaurant in the pedestrian zone appears very inconspicuous and is quickly overlooked. If it hadn't been recommended to us by friends, we would never have ended up there. The ambience up on the first floor is very nice and cozy. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious, the meat was cooked to perfection and of top quality. The Schnitzel Cordon Bleu was really well prepared, I am completely satisfied with both the taste and the price-performance ratio. However, the staff could have been a little friendlier. Although the dining area is quite comfortable, the toilets desperately need cleaning! ✨🌹

An inconspicuous entrance on Hohe Straße 73-75 in Cologne city center. But there is a relatively large restaurant on the first floor with lots of seating - also suitable for groups. Table can be reserved online. Very fast and good service (today by Samir). Rump steak 200 g (medium) with baked potatoes and a good, fresh salad with bread for a total of under 30 euros. It tasted very good. Gladly again!

This was unexpected, went here because my husband used to went here a lot when we was younger, the service was good, we got nice table by the window, the meats were high quality, we would come here again for sure, as a tourist it would be hard for me to find the entrance, but worry not.. can just ask the locals

I was there last night with my boyfriend and the waiter was very rude. He told us that we should order very quickly and even though I speak German well, he pretended not to understand me. After he brought the food, I talked to my boyfriend. I was doing it, and when he saw that we were not eating, he loudly said: (People here must eat) an old guy with glasses. Very rude and bad manners. I am also a waiter, but I am always kind, not racist

I was there last night with my girlfriend and the waiter was very rude. He told us to order very quickly, and even though I speak German well, he acted like he didn't understand me. After he brought the food, I talked to my girlfriend. I was just there, and when he saw that we weren't eating, he said loudly: (People here have to eat) An old gentleman with glasses. Very rude and with bad behavior. I'm a waiter too, but I'm always friendly, not racist!

The service conveys the feeling that they think they are the best, but it wasn't that good. Tough, don't ask how “well done” your meat should be. And very stuffy inside, no terrace! Relatively expensive.

When we entered the restaurant the waiting staff were just chatting sitting down at tables right as you entered. No one said anything to us and we were eventually told to just pick a table. I ordered chimichurri with my flank steak and it was horrific. I'm annoyed I didn't take a picture. It was a brown mess and tasted extremely old. I complained and they said they use many herbs and it is always brown. Chimichurri is a lovely dressing with a vibrant green colour normally and should taste like it looks, vibrant and full of herbs. This one sadly tasted like it looked. They did remove it from the bill which was nice of them. During our time eating there was a waiter standing in a chair in the middle of the restaurant adjusting how low the lights were hanging. This simply isn't acceptable, do it before opening. Steak was cooked fine and our waitress was good. If you are going on a date, the interior is extremely tired and worn and the food doesn't make up for it so keep that in mind. Avoid this place. There are many other steak restaurants.

Inconspicuously located from the outside in the pedestrian zone, after taking the elevator (or stairs) you will find an excellent steakhouse. Quality is excellent, service is quick, reservations are helpful.

A very nice, cozy restaurant, which also offers people like me, with more pounds on the ribs and wider hips, very comfortable seats that invite you to linger for a long time. The service is courteous, friendly and yet not too intrusive. The food is quite okay for the quality and size of the portions. The central location directly in the Hohe Straße pedestrian zone really invites you to come here after a beautiful day in Cologne. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

The food was good, the service was very good. In principle, you can recommend it if you get a correct invoice at the end. That wasn't the case. We received a receipt - not an invoice - without a TSE signature. Hence deducting a few stars.

Hello, I was in a small steakhouse today. I ate penne with salmon for 14.90 euros. Not recommended, unfortunately the salmon died twice, the second time it was fried to death. Unfortunately there is no price match. The toilets very dirty!!! And the photos that are posted don't quite correspond to reality. No longer worth a visit!

Very good, inconspicuous restaurant from the outside with excellent service. We ate there with a larger group and were served very quickly and, above all, in a friendly manner. The food was ready quite quickly, was of good quality and everyone was satisfied. In addition, the prices for food and drinks were fair. I recommend this steakhouse without reservation.
