We were very excited when we made our reservation. And indeed, the food was outstanding! Our ordered beef fillet was perfectly prepared, and the appetizers were also delicious. The quality and taste were simply outstanding. Unfortunately, this positive impression was greatly tarnished by the service from our waiter. It was as if we didn't exist for him. He was constantly at the next table and completely ignored us. Even when we called out to him, he didn't respond. We waited about 15 minutes for him to take our order. After placing another order, no drinks arrived even after 20 minutes. So we got up, paid at the bar, and left the restaurant. That was very disappointing. I had imagined this evening to be different. What a shame!

We generally like eating there, but today it was extremely uncomfortable. We just had the wrong seat, right by the grill, where it's just too loud. Unfortunately, we were misled by the menu description twice. Steak with langostini is a steak with two small prawns. Apparently, the staff has known this for years, but the manager refuses to change the menu! They could have adjusted it with the new prices, which seem to have been drastically increased. This time, the staff seemed a bit stressed. But we'll go again; the meat is really good!

Casona Argentina in Porz is simply fantastic! I've been visiting this restaurant for 30 years, and it always reminds me of the wonderful times I spent there with my family. My father used to take us there all the time – my sister, my mother, and me. The atmosphere is just as welcoming and lively as it was back then. The food is consistently delicious, and the quality remains consistently high. It's impressive that the owner is still the same and works with so much passion and dedication. For me, Casona Argentina is a place full of memories and culinary delights. I highly recommend it! Five stars are more than deserved!

I really enjoy eating at the Casona, especially because of the good quality meat and the lovely terrace. Unfortunately, today's meat was too cooked and tough, so I couldn't eat it.

Four of us ate there on Whit Monday. The waitress served me a steak with a baked potato. I was surprised at first, as I had only ordered a steak with salad. I started eating, and the waitress came to our table without comment and, while I was eating, she took the potato from my plate with her bare hands. With a wave of her hand, she placed the potato on my friend's dessert plate. I was stunned. A subsequent argument ensued, during which the waitress, not realizing her mistake, became aggressive. I felt unwelcome as a guest and will not visit the restaurant again. WHAT A PITY... Well then, enjoy your meal...

Today's visit was abysmal. It started with the ancient ambiance, continued with the overly salty food and poor side dishes. The crowning glory was a completely overwhelmed waitress and an extremely rude, bitchy waitress who was so outrageously unfriendly to my children (6 years and 2 years old). I can only advise anyone with good taste and children not to go to this restaurant.

If I want to eat steak, this restaurant is my first choice.

Grill directly in the guest room. With active ventilation, this of course creates a background noise but also a lot of flair. First there was baguette and a small card told me to eat rump steak. Nothing to complain about, the meat was perfect. I wanted medium rate, I got rare, but I could live with that. Price performance is definitely right here, I'll be back.

When we have visitors we love going to Casona! We have already booked several celebrations there and almost everyone always enjoyed it! There are always notorious complainers! They just need it! Unfortunately ! The prices are absolutely justified! And there is a cozy outdoor area in summer! We are happy to continue to be guests!

Therefore I would like to give one more star. We were guests there with six people. The food was good, the rump steak was very good. Unfortunately, it turned out that the veggie burger was served as a meat version during a visit a few days earlier, as this second version was significantly different. The service was friendly but poor. Not even the first round of drinks was served at the same time. A guest had to wait at least five minutes for a barrel shower. When we toasted, the Kölsch was already foamless. Despite repeated reminders, a sausage and a salad were completely forgotten. The waiter was generally difficult to reach. Conclusion: No recommendation.

Unfortunately the meat today was very well done and hard. Didn't eat it. The waiter said it was only my fault because I didn't point out before ordering that I didn't want it to be overcooked. Sometimes it takes a while, but no one can tear themselves apart. We love coming here and it always tastes delicious!

Extreme cost increase! After a sharp increase in meat and beverage prices last year, prices were increased again by 12% at the beginning of January. A beer now costs 2.40 instead of 2.10. a half liter of wine has been increased from the original 9.50 to 14.50 and since January to 16.90, although VAT on alcohol has not increased. The owner should think about how long the guests will be doing this.
