Best food in the area, but unfortunately no Gönnrgy on the menu

When we arrived at Weave&Beef Steakhouse, everything seemed rather inconspicuous from the outside. But as soon as we had parked, we were immediately greeted by a professional valet parking service who parked our car safely and accompanied us to the restaurant. A really successful start! The menu was extensive and offered a nice selection. We quickly found something suitable and looked forward to our meal. When the steak was served, it came out exactly the way I like it: well-done and to the point. The side dishes were very generous – so generous that we were definitely full and satisfied. Everything tasted really excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and pleasant, although a bit overloaded with decorations and objects for my taste. The tablecloths and the loving furnishings still gave the room a high-quality atmosphere. A small point of criticism for me would be the small distance between the tables, which gave the impression that the space should be used to the maximum. Overall, it was a very nice evening and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Weave&Beef Steakhouse!

The guests are really well looked after here. On New Year's Eve we were able to get a table at very short notice. The whole concept, warmth and sympathy of the service was really excellent. The food and entertainment were A1 and the price-performance ratio was justified. A huge compliment for such a great service team!!!

By far the best steakhouse! I've been to Reef&Beef several times and have been absolutely thrilled every time! The food, especially the steak, is world class. Never had such a good steak anywhere. The staff is always courteous and very personable. Always had fun conversations. The selection of food and drinks is very good, there is something for everyone. The valet service is very convenient. You never have to look for a parking space. Overall a clear 5/5 stars. Nothing is missing here. I'm looking forward to the next visit

I was recently at Reef & Beef and can only say: it was an absolute pleasure trip! The food was simply fantastic - every dish cooked to perfection, especially the meat, which was grilled to perfection, and the sauces that accompanied it were a real treat. The service was world class! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and made sure we felt completely comfortable. You can tell that people put their heart and soul into the work here. The atmosphere at Reef & Beef is also impressive. The stylish furnishings and the cozy ambience make the visit a special experience. For me, one thing is certain: If you are looking for high-quality food, first-class service and a nice atmosphere, Reef & Beef is the right place for you. Absolute recommendation!

It's hidden but great, expensive but super tasty

We come here regularly and are thrilled every time! For us it is the best steak restaurant in Cologne. The atmosphere is just great, the service is super friendly and attentive, and the food is wow! The steaks are always perfectly prepared, and the side dishes complete the whole thing perfectly. Absolutely recommended!

This steakhouse is such a good one. When I first came here the place looked WOW! I ordered a 400g Rib Eye steak Medium-Well and they perfectly did mine the way I wanted. The service was very kind and you can order any size if you aren't a steak monster like me 😊. It is expensive tho if you go with more people.

Licht und Schatten. Im Grunde durchaus gemütlich. Die Qualität der Steaks war sehr gut, die der Beilagen so mittelmäßig. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht angemessen, da gibt es anderso mehr für. Negativ fällt auf, dass das Restaurant eine eher prollige Kundschaft anzuziehen scheint. Noch negativer fällt auf, dass uns als Zahlungsbeleg nur eine "Zwischenrechnung" zur Verfügung gestellt wurde. Das riecht nach Steuerhinterziehung und vielleicht auch Geldwäsche.

Super Abend! Das Essen war eine 12/10 und das Ambiente war ebenfalls top. Tolles Lob an Saki für den sehr guten Service!!

Went there for a business dinner with several people! What can I say, just good food and top service. High class! Always familiar faces from show business. A very well-known address in Cologne! I'd love to come back!

Waren mit mehreren Personen zum Geschäftsabendessen da! Was soll ich sagen einfach gutes Essen und top Service. Gehobene Klasse! Immer wieder bekannte Gesichter aus dem Showbusiness. Eine ganz bekannte Adresse in Köln! Komme gerne wieder!

Steak was good (it should be at 50 euros for 200 grams), but the side dishes were too small for the price and not wow either. Tables too close together so you could hear the people next door talking about you the whole time. Waited quite a long time for the food, you had the feeling that “important people” were being preferred :)) overall good if you want to go out for a fancy steak, but the price-performance ratio is much better elsewhere.

Excellent restaurant. The beef fillet is the best in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. The service is great and the ambience is beautiful.

A great restaurant. The atmosphere was quite dark, but that didn't bother me. Steaks were great. Side dishes too. You can't find valet parking on every corner either. Service very friendly. Overall very expensive. If that doesn't bother you, you'll be in good hands here. For me it is a top address where you can serve any customer on special occasions.

If you think this is good, you haven't eaten well. Overpriced and off-the-shelf side dishes. Meat is good, but only medium rare. Anything else will probably overwhelm the kitchen. When it came to service, I had the feeling that they had only been doing the job for two days or that their "uncle" was forced to employ them there. There are much better locations for a fraction of the money with better food and service. Ambience is ok. Before I forget: If you want to freeze to death, eat in the tent.

Steak Restaurant im „Dubai“Style“! Es gibt eine Klientel, die darauf steht. Viel Gold, Deko aus Magnum Champagner Flaschen etc - wem es gefällt?!? Ich finde es „prollig“. Dieses Restaurant spricht eine ganz bestimmte Zielgruppe an, das Steak war ganz gut, aber das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist hier nicht gut. Schlechter Service zu Preisen wie im Sternerestaurant. Wenn zudem die Toilette die Visitenkarte eines Restaurants ist wie manch einer sagt würde ich maximal einen Punkt geben.

We were there with a group of 13 adults and 2 small children. Very attentive service. The two children were even given something to paint on a Sunday evening. The food was excellent and our guests were very satisfied. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Wir haben uns auf Fleisch und Hummer sowie Austern beschränkt ohne Beilagen, die Qualität war unserer Meinung nach tadellos, alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Bei dem Gewicht des Steaks waren wir jedoch etwas skeptisch und die Preise sind schon sehr gut gemeint. Der Service war leider von Anfang bis zum Schluss unbefriedigend. Nette Menschen, aber äusserst unprofessionell und in keinem Verhältnis zu dem Preisniveau.

Me and my friends were guests at Reef and beef for the first time today. The great service can be found in front of the restaurant. We were welcomed there and our car was parked by a nice gentleman. The ambience is with the dimmed lights making a cozy atmosphere. The lovely, nice and funny waiter Mo served us very well. The food was simply incredibly delicious. What I really liked was a small gift: a small bowl of meat for my dog. For such a successful evening you would be happy to spend a little more money. It was definitely worth every penny! We'd love to come back🥰

The food was delicious, without question. The service was good. The ambience is chic and unusual but a bit too dark for my taste. There are three stars only because of the very high prices. We are always happy to pay appropriately for quality, but I didn't think the prices were appropriate.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Reef & Beef um meinen Geburtstag zu feiern. Vorab ist zu sagen, die Qualität der Fleisch- und Fischkomponenten lässt sich grundsätzlich nicht bemängeln. Filet, Thunfisch und Tiger Prawn waren qualitativ wirklich gut und die Garpunkte stimmten- die Portionen allerdings sehr übersichtlich. Gestört haben uns allerdings auch einige Dinge. Die Beilagen sind wirklich schwach, einfallslos und auch nicht von wirklich guter Qualität. Die Trüffel-Pommes beispielsweise bestehen aus Fertig-Pommes mit etwas Parmesan und zwei Scheibchen (gemacklosem) Trüffel, die Bratkartoffeln schwammen in Fett und der Blattspinat war eigentlich ungenießbar. Auch die Saucen, die leider bei der beworbenen "Trilogy" über das Fleisch gekippt werden, haben uns in keiner Weise überzeugt. Die Getränkepreise sind überzogen. 10 Euro für eine Flasche Mineralwasser schon frech. Der Wein war nicht wirklich kalt und wurde in billigsten (und auch noch zwei unterschiedlichen) Gastro-Gläsern serviert. Der Service war zunächst, auch wenn es sich sicher nicht um Profis handelt, sehr freundlich und bemüht, sobald allerdings klar war, dass wir kein Dessert bestellen möchten (dazu befragt wurden wir etwa 2 Minuten nachdem der Hauptgang abgeräumt war) wurden wir jedoch weitgehend ignoriert und selbst die Rechnung kam erst nach ca. 15 min und mehreren Aufforderungen. Alles in allem- für diese Preise haben wir schon deutlich bessere Steak-Häuser besucht und besser gegessen. Schein und Sein stimmt für uns im Reef & Beef leider nicht. Schade!

For me one of the best locations in Cologne!

For me personally, the steak is prepared with too much pepper and roasted aromas; I prefer to enjoy the taste of the meat naturally. The prices a bit high. The service needs some training and seemed a bit unsure about the wine recommendations and the service. The atmosphere is very cozy.

As a normal person, I ate the best steak of my life upon invitation. The atmosphere of the restaurant is exceptional. A must go for people who aren't afraid to pay upwards of €80 for an exceptional steak experience!

Price and performance don't match, everything is far too expensive. 10€ wine for 70€. The steak was not cooked as ordered. A shop for people with too much money but no idea.

I used to come here often before Corona and celebrated my sister's birthday here. The Midnight Noon Steak, something similar to what it was called, is my favorite with truffle mash potatoes and grilled vegetables. But I think it simply tastes better in the OG store in Düsseldorf than in Cologne. Unfortunately the decor isn't nice either, too many artificial flowers.

Well-intentioned 4 stars. First about the food: The food was great, there is nothing to complain about here. Very high quality, very tasty! However, deduction because of the service: we reserved online with the note that it was a birthday dinner. When we arrived, this was not taken into account, our reservation could not be found and we were given a small table at the end of the room. Otherwise, the service was unfortunately not very attentive; it took a long time until we received the wine list and ultimately drinks. When we ate, however, it all happened much too quickly for us, the bread was just on the table when the starter arrived, ok, that's still possible. But we hadn't even finished the starter before the steaks arrived... that was a shame. No asking whether you are ready for the next course, as you know it. You should expect something different, especially from a restaurant in this price range. After we finished the main course, no one came to clear the plates for ages. It's a shame, it spoiled our experience.

Die Preise sind schon mächtig abgehoben. Da stimmen Preis und Leistung aber gar nicht. Eine Flasche Lugana Ca dei Frati für 79,- ist doppelt so viel wie üblich und schon frech. Nicht mal richtig kalt war der Wein. Die Preise für das Essen sind ebenfalls zu hoch. Insgesamt eher entäuschend

Update from October 20, 2024 You can see my old review below. I was in this restaurant again today and the service and food were again very, very good. We felt very well looked after. It has to be said that this is a high-priced restaurant. If you look at the price performance, I've eaten better steaks for less money. The atmosphere is quite nice. But it's not a restaurant that you absolutely have to visit if you want to eat very good steaks

This is for meat & it is not cheap in no way. Ambiente is perfect for eating steak. I took an Triple Star Filet Mignon with broccoli and mashed potatoes and can nothing but recommend it. The highlight of the week. Service is good and friendly. Parking "challenging" as this awful constructions in the street make it not easy to find it, without breaking all German traffic rules.

We were greeted very unfriendly by the valet parking service. We said that we would like to drive our car into the parking lot ourselves. The entire parking lot was still completely free because we were the first ones. The valet then said either I would drive your car or you would have to find somewhere else to park. Honestly? We would have left a lot of money there that evening. That's the last thing. This is not how you treat guests. Impossible behavior!!! Really a shame for this restaurant. We wanted to eat there for the second time today, but I'd rather spend my money somewhere else.

We travel & move around alot; this restaurant is by far our most favorite spot to eat. From date night, celebrations and bringing family from out of town; this place is always fantastic. The staff is top noch, always attentive and very friendly. The decor & atmosphere is stunning but above all else the food is by far the best quality, the oysters are fresh and steak perfectly cooked. We always look forward to going here ❤️

You are greeted by the valet service, which was just for show as the car was parked 20 meters further down the street. The outside of the building has a 1960s tile look but the inside is very attractively designed. However, toilets don't fit at all! Dirty and shabby. Given the prices, I had high expectations in terms of service and quality. But: Food and drinks were only “passed through” from one side of the table, e.g. a truffle oil was brought even though truffle mayo had been ordered - when we pointed this out they just said “eat it anyway” - so that the waiter could still charge for the expensive oil. Wines poured directly without tasting. The presentation of the meat resembled a sales presentation. The side dishes were “simple”. My potato wedges consisted of 20% of the crumbs that were left in the bag at the end... Definitely not homemade! After the main course, the waiter tried to sell us a dessert plate for the entire table even though we had said very clearly that we didn't want dessert. The bill came unsolicited and as a total in a box. We pointed out straight away that we wanted to pay separately and then we all had to get up and go to the checkout at the back. In summary: Location - very nice Service - very poor for a restaurant in this price range (obviously untrained staff) Food - average There are certainly better stores in Cologne!

A very nice spot in Dusseldorf, excellent US style steaks and a great wine list, though the value offerings not exactly available. A most pleasant evening all round.

We stayed at Reef&Beef for my dad's birthday and I admit it was a fantastic experience! The steak was buttery soft and the service was absolutely outstanding. We had a great evening and I can only recommend Reef&Beef :)

Unfortunately, my previous high expectations were completely disappointed here. You can't feel comfortable at all because you're surrounded by a huge team of waiters who are doing COMPLETE upselling. If you don't choose the "premium" fillet, you will be endlessly persuaded to take the more expensive one, which we also took. What is noticeable here is how dry and coarse-grained the “cheaper” fillet is. You were promised that the “premium” fillet could be eaten with a spoon because it was so tender :D The “better” wine is served to you (ice wine 30€/100ml), which is actually a dessert wine and is not even offered for tasting, but 200ml is poured straight away. You also had to pour yourself water, the waiters were constantly on their cell phones and were not attentive. I originally ordered a 300g steak, but received 400g, which only showed up later on the bill. A quick “oops” from the waitress didn’t compensate for the more expensive bill. The steak here is served on hot plates, which is usually only done at Chateaubriand because, like ours, the meat is served completely undercooked and could later be eaten far too dry. For the price, the steak should be perfectly cooked to my discretion and not require any additional work on my part. The starters were also so-so, you get a spicy BBQ sauce with your bread?! The Caesar had no convincing taste and the scallops were also served with a cocktail sauce that was far too spicy. The “truffle potato puree” hardly tasted like truffles for €15. On top of that, you are greeted with a wannabe valet service that parks the cars on the street in front of the door, which is completely unnecessary and excessive. Sorry, but for this price range you should have a certain standard and not just be a show-off like with the Clienté.

A very nice restaurant with a nice outdoor area behind the house. The food, in our case the meat dishes, were perfectly prepared. The meat was of very high quality and cooked perfectly. The starters were very delicate and visually very appealing. The prices are rather higher but given the quality of the meat, they are absolutely justified. The service including valet parking was very friendly. Even though the restaurant was very busy, we didn't have to wait long. We will definitely come back and try the seafood dishes. We can only recommend the restaurant.

We tried bisque with lobster - not a classic recipe and, in my opinion, not the most successful, carpaccio with truffle, completely tasteless, tournedos trio - also turned out to be very mediocre, possibly made from a semi-finished product.

We were there for the first time. Of course we read some reviews. I was very excited. In a nutshell, it was a great evening. Food great, service great. Wine list large and something for everyone. Of course everything has its price, but rightly so! If you want to eat out for 30 euros, you can find something in the fast food joint. Prices and quality match. Thanks for the great evening. Best steakhouse with unique marinades

You feel very comfortable here and the first and main courses are very tasty. Staff makes an effort.

Nachdem wir im Mai 2024 das erste mal zu Gast waren und absolut begeistert waren von der Qualität der Speisen und dem Service , was es gestern nicht wirklich gut . Vor allem der Service ! Speisen vertauscht ( man sollte schon sehen welches Filet Ladys Cut und Mens Cut ist ). 3 Versuche um die tatsächlich , bestellten Beilagen zu servieren . Beim servieren der Filtes mit der Serviette im Teller die Sauce verschmieren . 3 Verschieden Gläser für die Gäste am Tisch für einen Rotwein der deutlich über 100€ gekostet hat . 2 Verschiedene Rotweine in Ein und das selbe Glas gießen wollen . Teure Rotweine nicht dekantieren!! Rum und Whisky ohne nachfragen mit Eis servieren ! Innerhalb von weniger als 2 Minuten von 3 Servicekräften nach einem Dessert befragt . Hier sollte man sich schon abstimmen , bzw. die neuen Servicekräfte erst an den Kunden lassen , wenn das 1&1 verstanden ist . Alles in allem war es gestern wie erwähnt nicht gut , dennoch werden wir es ein drittes Mal versuchen , in der Hoffnung das wir von unserem ersten Eindruck bestätigt werden .

We last went to Reef&Beef with a larger group. While it was the first visit for some of them, it was the third visit for me. Even if the food was good as usual, the audience made you feel anything but comfortable and almost alien. I'm happy to pay more for good food, great ambience, etc., but the overall package has to be right. Although the Reef&Beef once promised a nice evening, you now sit there with a very present sense of unease. A pity!

Square money for great ambience and good meat. Service ok, could be better! A lunch menu at slightly more affordable prices wouldn't be a mistake, I haven't seen more than 4 tables occupied at lunchtime - but you professionals have to know that for yourself. The cooking point was not optimal twice already, with tbone medium rare even on the bone it was only just medium. But the quality of the meat is top notch! Haven't tried seafood yet.

Erstklassiger Service. Leckere Steaks. Wunderbare Weinauswahl. Angesagte Location im Süden Kölns. Für jeden Fleisch- und Fischliebhaber wärmstens zu empfehlen!

Wir waren am 31.05.24 mit 4 Köchen (davon 3 Meister) dort essen. Vorspeise bei 3 war der Caesar Salat.Hatte nur leider vom Geschmack nichts damit zu tun. Die Seafood Soup war gut. Das als bestes Steak angekündigte 300 gr.Triple Steak war ein Reinfall für 69,90 Euro. Meins hatte höchstens 230 gr.und war falsch geschnitten. Die Steinpilzsauce war aus der Tüte. Und die Portion Süßkartoffel war lecker aber mit 9,90 Euro absolut überteuert. Das war leider nicht nur ein Eindruck sondern von Fachleuten eine Rezension. Es ist schade,daß bisher noch kein Statement stattgefunden hat.

Meat perfect Unfortunately service is not 100% Great ambience

We had dinner there yesterday with 4 chefs (including 3 masters). The starter for 3 was the Caesar salad. Unfortunately the taste had nothing to do with it. The seafood soup was good. The 300 gr triple steak, announced as the best steak, was a failure for 69.90 euros. Mine was at most 230 grams and was cut incorrectly. The porcini mushroom sauce was out of the bag. And the portion of sweet potato was delicious but absolutely overpriced at 9.90 euros. Unfortunately, that wasn't just an impression but a review from experts. It's a shame that a week later there hasn't been a statement.

Very tasty food and pleasant service. If you have expectations in the world of food, I recommend this place ;) Parking will be taken care of by the staff to whom you hand the keys, and the car will be taken to the parking lot behind the house :) Thank you very much, I will visit again!

Little things don't make the visit complete. The steaks were on point, the fish was very good and the desserts were also delicious. The only thing missing was an explanation about the sauces served and the fact that the lemons were in small bags would have been worth knowing. The restaurant seems inconspicuous From the outside, inside with a great ambience! Highly recommended 👍👍👍
