If you have a lot of time to wait for your food, this is the right place for you. Before we reserved a table for 8 people, I read some of the reviews and thought the negative ones were exaggerated. But since yesterday I can say that we would never go here again. We ordered drinks around 8:15 p.m. and they arrived relatively quickly. At 8:30 p.m. we ordered the food. Unfortunately we couldn't order the meat skewer and spare ribs because they were sold out. As explained, the meat skewers are made from leftover meat and there were none. My wife then switched to chicken breast. Two of us had starters, which arrived after 10 minutes. With 8 people, we got 2 small baskets of bread; at other restaurants we were used to 1 basket for 2 people. At 9:30 p.m. an hour had passed since we ordered and we asked if it would be long. We were told that our food was currently on the grill. Unfortunately, it took a little longer because we had chosen an appetizer and because I chose a dry-aged New York cut (had I known beforehand that my steak would have such a negative impact on the other seven orders, I would have chosen something else). At 9:40 PM, we asked again about our food, as it had been on the grill for at least 10 minutes, and almost all of us wanted the meat medium. Then the "manager" came and assured us that it was really on the grill, but unfortunately it was taking so long because the restaurant was so busy. At around 9:50 PM, after a full 80 minutes of waiting, our food finally arrived. My wife's chicken breast was left with corn on the cob, but it was brought later. Mayo with the fries was brought to us only with great reluctance. One of us ordered her steak medium-well and received it medium-well. She had a curly hair in her baked potato, which they later tried to tell us was from a "paintbrush." The biggest disaster of the evening was that my wife's chicken breast was still raw inside. They put the meat back on the grill and brought it back again, and it was still raw inside. Then it came back again and it was still raw inside. My wife was starting to feel embarrassed about complaining. They put it back on the grill a third time and it came back and it was still raw. By then we weren't even asked for drinks. They wanted a steak as an alternative, but my wife doesn't eat beef, so she refused. The spare ribs she wanted weren't available either. They credited us for the chicken breast and she got a free dessert as a replacement, and we all got a free bottle of rum for the 80 minutes we waited. My dry-aged New York cut for €43.80 was supposed to be 600-700g, the meat felt like 250g, the rest was bones, and the taste didn't blow me away. Regarding the chicken breast, we were told that the grill master wanted to hurry up because we'd been waiting so long, and chicken isn't their specialty; it's only offered as an alternative to beef. We've been to many steakhouses, El Chango, La Cabana, etc., where Saturday nights are a nightmare, but we've never experienced an 80-minute wait anywhere. And I thought the other reviews were exaggerating, with the 60-minute wait...

Once again, it's amazing... ❤️❤️❤️ The meat is once again to die for, and the service is absolutely charming and attentive. Be sure to try the Grillo. A breathtaking blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, and Merlot. A bit on the pricey side, but a great value! Thank you ❤️

We recently visited the restaurant and were thrilled! All of our food was delicious (starter, main course, and dessert), and it came really quickly, with no long waits. The cocktails were also delicious. A very special thank you goes to our waiter, Chris: he was incredibly attentive, funny, and gave us excellent advice. Colina Steak House is without a doubt one of the best steakhouses in Cologne. The dry-aged entrecôte was exceptional – juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the warm bread served at the beginning, it’s such a simple touch but one of my favorites here. Another highlight for me is the corn on the cob, which pairs perfectly with the steak. Great quality, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere make this place a must for any steak lover.

I stopped here to finish off a long cultural weekend in Cologne. It was a good experience! First impressions: cozy outdoor area (Sunday evening, when the streets are quiet), very friendly waiters. Then, a surprise: okay, no wine today. They have Bamberger Schlenkerla, and that really beats anything with the steak. The steak itself was perfect, and since I had specially ordered the chimichuri variation, there were three additional flavor explosions: a green one with lots of fresh herbs, a white one with cilantro, and a red one – wow, that one was REALLY hot! It's just a shame that Colina closes at 10 p.m. – I could have lingered there longer!

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and were treated with loving care and attention. Christian did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful evening. The food was truly excellent. No long waits. We can recommend Colina to everyone.

Yesterday was another wonderful evening at the Colina Steakhouse! I've been there 12 times now (yesterday with 6 people). I could really spare myself any further explanation, because that says it all. Sometimes with family, sometimes with friends. As always, everything was simply perfect. And by EVERYTHING, I really mean EVERYTHING. From the super-friendly hosts Andres and Ronald, who always take time for their guests, to the top-notch service team led by head waiter Chris, everything was just perfect again. The food is simply amazing. If you've never tried fried cassava with a coriander dip, you're missing out. Start with some garlic bread and an Estrella, and the evening can begin. The steak was sensationally well grilled (on a charcoal grill, which is very rare) and cooked to perfection. There are also some very good options for vegetarians. The price range is wide, so you can get by on a smaller budget or even go higher if you fancy something dry-aged. In conclusion, one thing can be said: Anyone who has been there once will definitely come back!

5 people, 30 minutes. Waited, and they didn't even place their drink orders. The waitress preferred folding napkins. Neighboring tables were also desperately waiting. After 30 minutes, we went over to the Greek restaurant. Completely unacceptable considering the prices. What a shame.

Colina Steakhouse is definitely the no 1 address in Cologne for steaks. Excellent quality of food, personal extraordinary service and outstanding consulting on food and beverage. The team serves best wines accompanying the food in great way. This is no 1 spot in Cologne. I never miss the opportunity to go there when I am in town.

A first-class steakhouse. The food is excellent in all three courses, the drinks, the friendly, fast service, and the location. Despite the ambient noise, you can also enjoy a small green oasis outside. The steaks are excellent, the best I've had in Cologne so far. The burger is also good, but one is enough. You go for the steaks. The side dishes are varied and well-chosen. There's a large selection of appetizers, and the seafood section is particularly worthwhile. There's rarely room left for dessert after two courses. There's also a fine drinks menu. Whether with or without alcohol, there's plenty to choose from. The prices are fair for the quality offered.

June 2025: I've been to the restaurant several times, most recently in June 2025. The service is friendly/concerned, but could be a bit more attentive. The ambiance inside is pleasant, typical of a steakhouse; you can sit outside, but the surroundings are rather unspectacular. The menu is straightforward, with the usual classics of an upscale steakhouse. The grill master is a god and reliably cooks the meat to perfection—what more could you want in terms of grilling? The price is reasonable: €50 for a 300g fillet (Argentinian) is fair, as the quality (meat and preparation) is good. Side dishes: Well, what you'd expect from a steakhouse. Why no 5 stars for the steak/overall? Quite simple, since, despite the price level, the restaurant serves exclusively Argentinian beef and not the higher-quality US beef that is the case in the absolute top steakhouses. In that respect: 5 stars weren't possible, but the 4 stars are well deserved.

Last time, my beef steak didn't taste good, but I'm usually satisfied. The beef had too much nerve, and wasn't cooked as usual.

A perfect experience for family or date night with your partner. Delicious appetizers. The steaks are also delicious. Be sure to check out the house's wine recommendations! We'd love to go again!

I arrived late and the kitchen was closed. However, after I said I am starving and need something small and simple, the chef himself prepared for me a very special and extremely delicious appetizer place, so was extremely satisfied! All waiters were extremely kind too.

Steakhouse, preparation of the meat was perfect. Seasoning a bit too much salt (for my taste). All other choices were tasty and good. Prices rather on the high side. Many good wine choices available. Service was super friendly. Seats ok, a bit hard, interior is cozy.

Colina is truly a must on any trip to Cologne. Yes, it's expensive, but the food and service are worth every cent. Our children, ages 9 and 11, were absolutely thrilled.

Specialized in beef and indeed the steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. Minor things: My side-dish was a jacked potato with sour ceam and unfortunately the potato was not cooked properly and still raw/hard in the center. The butter was half frozen and hard to spread on the bread and the waiter took away our entree plates just after the bread arrived. Wrong timing.

Just wow! The Colina Steakhouse impressed us from top to bottom! From the drinks, to the starter, to the main course, dessert, drinks and coffee, it was a heavenly treat! As a starter we ordered champions with garlic bread, it sounds unspectacular, but it isn't! It's crazy what the chefs have conjured up. We continued with the main course, a filet of Chateaubriand, simply delicious! This piece of meat was so tasty that our mouths watered while eating it - wonderful! For dessert we had a sponge cake which was also very good! We ordered Aperol Spritz and Whiskey Sour, both excellent - the bartenders also know their stuff! The service staff was very friendly and attentive...throughout the entire evening! It's extraordinary that you go to a restaurant and everything just fits! That's why I can only wholeheartedly recommend Colina Steakhouse!

I had an aged ribeye steak, which was nicely cooked and well aged. However , to my disbelief, it was very salty ! Something had gone wrong there, because the steak of my friend had a normal amount of salt. I had to drink 2 litres of water afterwards. And the reaction to the waiters and the director to my complaint was 0, they didn’t apologise or react to my complaint. Unfortunately I have to leave 2 stars because of this.

We ordered two T-Bone dry aged steaks, which are the most expensive ones in the menu list (75 Euro’s per steak). For the toppings (such as sauces) we have paid 44 Euros’s extra. Unfortunately, the steaks were chewy and full of tendons. In this extend we were disappointed with the quality of the served meat. A proper dry aged steak should be tender and without so much tendons of course! The service was average and upon the talk to the Restaurant owner nothing happened. We were just offered a free coffee as compensation, which we had refused. Apart of that, the owner ignored us while leaving the place! At least he could apologize! Next time we will avoid this Restaurant at all…

The food from the kitchen, well. We had almost all Tappas dishes, a few were good and a few weren't. The prawns were initially completely over-salted and then they were completely neutralized in the water, which unfortunately affected the taste and was not dissolved well. Serano cheese platter, which was filled with some kind of salad, doesn't work at all. Only serano and cheese should be on there. The meat was okay, perfectly on point, taste was okay. Wine was delicious. You don't have to have dessert. Ambiance, very nice and cozy.

Everything in this restaurant is perfect 🤗 This restaurant is run by the owner himself, a renowned chef in Venezuela. A lot of love, perfection and dedication is what is seen in each dish. I love Venezuelan appetizers and desserts. What no one should miss in this place are the delicious meats prepared by a true master. They offer their service in German, English and Spanish.
