Always packed, always friendly, they offer olives and homemade bread on the house, and afterwards a shot of schnapps.

A wonderful, small, and very authentic restaurant. Very cozy with checkered tablecloths and candlelight. Very attentive service. Delicious pasta at a very reasonable price. We felt very comfortable and had a fantastic meal. We will definitely come back. Mille Grazie!

The food was all but inedible. And I wouldn't even call it pizza. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we had to eat in the dark, rather dingy bar next door. They promised us a table in the actual restaurant, but nothing happened. They completely forgot our starter, and some of the pasta was drenched in cream (it wasn't on the menu), and the beef fillet had cartilage in it. For the money, we've had much more comfortable meals and better food! The wine and olives were good. Oh, and the restroom didn't work at all (the soap was empty, and there was no toilet paper).

Affordable and delicious lunch (12-4 p.m.) for €9.90, including pizza rolls and salad. We'll be back!

Very tasty pasta and a reasonable selection of standard options and specials. Prices are fair. We sat outside, and I felt forgotten by the service. You were basically only served upon request. The tables are very close together, so you can definitely hear your neighbor's conversation.

The food is delicious. It's gotten a bit expensive, and the portions have unfortunately gotten smaller...

Italian Familia – you can't get more Italian than this, right in the heart of Hamburg, and probably the best pasta in town. Definitely worth a visit – if you can get a seat. Inventive, fresh, affordable. That's how I'd like to be treated – and have a wonderful meal on the table. Sometimes all you need is a love of hospitality – like here – thank you.

We've been there twice now. Very friendly service, attentive to our requests, and the pasta is also incredibly delicious. The interior is very nice, although the tables are a bit close together. They also have a lovely terrace.

Unfortunately, the only thing I can comment on here is the way the guests were treated, and that was disastrous. Despite having a reservation, we weren't seated. Instead of an apology or at least a heads-up, we were simply ignored when we tried to speak to the hectic staff. Hospitality definitely doesn't look like that. All that remains from this evening is disappointment and the firm decision not to return.

Incredibly disappointing! This place is getting a lot of hype on Instagram, and after yesterday, I'm wondering why. We ordered truffle pasta that tasted of nothing and didn't contain any truffles! After returning it to the kitchen, it turned out to have truffles in it, but it was also completely oversalted! The service was abysmally terrible. We asked for the bill several times, and when our neighbors started fussing about leaving without paying, it came to light that not only did we get bad and oversalted food, but two other tables next to us as well. We felt really sorry for the waitress, who couldn't do anything about it, but unfortunately had to listen to the displeasure of several guests. We won't be coming back, and the tables were also incredibly dirty...

The taste was okay, but the portions and toppings were noticeably too small. While the service was friendly, the overall experience didn't really impress me. Unfortunately, that's not a reason for me to return.

The name sounds inviting and the restaurant is so hyped but unfortunately I found it just disappointing. We did get a table spontaneously before 7 p.m. and even got bread and some olives for starters, but otherwise there was hardly any service. The seats under the umbrella in the former parking bay are not lit or nicely presented. And the pasta had no flavor whatsoever. I ordered tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms and got porcini mushrooms. Very small portions, no seasoning, no salt, for €18.50. When I asked, I was probably misunderstood and told myself it was chanterelles. When the bill then showed porcini mushrooms, the waiter just explained that it was the same price. For that price, you can really eat much better in the area and feel good. Unfortunately, not here.

We're actually big fans of Pasta Club, but today's visit was very disappointing. The food was, as usual, well-crafted, but one of the dishes was very uninspiring. Even more significant was the incredibly dirty interior of the restaurant. The tablecloths were covered in wax and crumbs, and the entire floor was covered in dirt and food scraps. I should point out that we were there around 12 noon, which means the place had just opened. Consequently, the place hadn't been cleaned, presumably the night before. This makes me wonder about the rest of the cleanliness. I would be happy if they would pay more attention to these essentials in the future, otherwise you'll lose a loyal customer.

We spontaneously got a table for seven people this afternoon. The drinks arrived quickly, the food shortly after. Unfortunately, my pasta wasn't al dente, and the beef strips weren't cooked to perfection. Then, for a long time, there was no service to take requests for coffee or dessert. To pay, we had to enter the restaurant and then explain our order in English to a previously uninvolved lady. I was asked to look up the total amount on a large display without any further explanation...

The ambiance is very nice despite the busy street. The concept itself is well-thought-out and well-rounded. However, you can tell that it's primarily intended to be Instagram-worthy (beautifully presented dishes, modern location). The service was unfortunately not good; we sat there for 2.5 hours and weren't asked for a second round of drinks or dessert. You feel more like you've been snubbed than truly welcomed, even though there were plenty of staff. The dishes were okay in terms of taste, but not outstanding, which is what you'd expect given the name 'Pasta Club' and the accompanying focus and small menu.

The pasta is freshly prepared and served quickly. However, the portion sizes are very manageable. For €18.50, I got six ravioli with salmon filling and lobster sauce. Hungry, I left the restaurant and went to a neighboring restaurant. Conclusion: If you're looking for a lot of money for a little value, you'll find it here.

The food was delicious, but we had to add quite a bit of salt. That's a matter of taste, of course, and not a problem. All three of us thought the portions were a bit too small. The dessert was very good. The Aperol, at €6.50, is really good value :) We had a nice outdoor seating area, but the tables are really close together. The service was good. Unfortunately, there's only one restroom, and the doorknob was broken, so the person who came in before me almost couldn't get out and had to warn me.

Arrabiata, inhumanly hot! We sent the pasta back and asked for a different sauce. What did we get back? Rinsed pasta that was still spicy, watery pesto, and remnants of the (actually) rinsed arrabiata. Tagliatelle that was extremely shredded and barely edible. The waiter was very confused but friendly, and we also had to wait 20 minutes to order our drinks and food. The pizza was only lukewarm… not recommended.

A life well lived is philosophically speaking one of gratitude and appreciation for what is available to us. A life well lived is one in which its subject takes full advantage of its brief time on earth and pays attention to the things mattering most. Noticeably, four young LAds (capitalization is not for everyone to be understood, so don‘t waste your short life trying to figure it out) are doing exactly what emotionally intelligent sapiens should do: They are paying attention to the good in life. They appreciate. They rejoice in what is healthy; in that which nourishes and strengthens the body. The uneducated reader will react with stubborness and emotional immaturity to this essay on the essence of life. Nonetheless, such reaction is of cosmic irrelevance. The entity that I am reviewing is a place where „physical“ laws of inflation haven‘t gravitated towards yet. A place where a typical combination of drinks ordered for a party of four reads usually like this: 1x Peroni, 1x sparkling water, 1x still water, 1x Coke Zero. A place that might briefly smell like fart, thanks to the unnecessary invention of PMI‘s „IQOS“ product line. A place that somehow stands in a relationship to one of its neighboring institution - both of which celebrate the art of living in an Italian fashion. For an account of „the other“ institution, a click on the reviewers profile will lead the interested and educated mind in the right direction. The Pasta Club is a place that brings together biological processes chained to modern workplaces. Such states of work are being played out all over the world until the day of writing (and beyond). To name a few examples, they could be taking place at a large German corporate, an under-staffed medical institution or in the midst of unemployment, in technology companies or spreadsheet prisons such as private equity funds. Nonetheless, it wouldn‘t be New Work if there weren‘t any upsides to the common downsides: Lunch breaks and remote work so to speak. The advent of post-pandemic ways of working have fueled the modern workforce’s hunger for linguine salmone and the aforementioned, exemplary beverages. A never-disappointing escape from numbness at the laptop is and should be celebrated at the Pasta Club. As a rule of thumb, a weekly dosage of two gatherings is recommended for a healthy, sustainable, and happy life. One that is in search for lost time.

Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed: relatively small portions and mediocre food. The cacio e pepe was very overcooked and swimming in sauce, but had almost no pepper. The pizza was okay (nothing special), but there are much better ones in Hamburg. The service was good, and everything was very quick.

I had ravioli with ricotta and walnut. They were served in a red wine sauce – in my opinion, this should be stated on the menu or at least noted when ordering (partly because of the very specific taste, but also out of consideration for people with alcohol addiction). Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty for me. My friend had pasta with chanterelle mushrooms, which were very cheap. Both dishes were blandly seasoned; the table next to us had the same experience. The focaccia with arugula and tomato, on the other hand, was very tasty. The restroom wasn't very clean and generally very dated.

You can tell the love goes into the cooking here! We had the pasta dishes from the monthly menu (linguine with shrimp and one with chanterelle mushrooms), and the homemade pastas had a perfect consistency, and the dishes generally had a very pleasant, not overly seasoned flavor texture. The buratina with nectarine slices as a starter was also very interesting and fruity/creamy – delicious! The service was attentive, prompt, and super friendly. Not usual on a busy Saturday night :) Thanks for the lovely, cozy Saturday summer evening in your sweet little restaurant. PS: You still have a lot of room for improvement on Google – feel free to get in touch ;)

Enjoyed a very good dinner. I like that they have a selected choice of pastas. Still difficult to choose but at least you know they’re focusing on what they’re good at. Both pasta dishes were very flavorful and a good portion size. Service was excellent and was lovely sitting outside.

The restaurant is a complete disaster. The service was truly abysmal; no one had a clue about anything. The waiters had no manners, and the rooms and restrooms were filthy. No one knew what was on offer, no one could tell the difference between the pastas. It was simply unbelievable what a mess this place is. My girlfriend still has a stomach ache and feels sick hours later, and she doesn't even want to know what was in the food. We couldn't finish it either.

Delicious pizza at fair prices. The pasta ragù, unfortunately, tasted like nothing. Service wasn't particularly friendly, unfortunately. The atmosphere was quite nice.

The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Pasta costs around €12-15 and pizza around €13-16. The portions are generous and come quickly. Very friendly service and a great atmosphere right outside the restaurant with pleasant lighting. The interior is also very nicely decorated, and the kitchen is open.

Another food blogger fail. I fell for an ad from a Hamburg blogger and went there: Very overpriced for small portions. Unfortunately, the service doesn't understand German. Communication difficulties. The food portions are more for children and completely salty. Unfortunately, it's inedible. What a shame. Oh yeah, and the pictures you see here - you won't get food like that. It looks completely different in person. And the previous reviews are incomprehensible; either they're friends or they also got paid.

I had green linguini with saffron sauce and (4) shrimp. There was no hint of salt or pepper in the dish, and a little more cream would have been good. It was a bit dry, but well garnished. The house wine was surprisingly good. The house served a more than adequate amount of delicious bread with olive oil. Still, it could have been improved.

Unfortunately the pasta wasn't that good, but the service was very friendly and attentive!

The truffle pasta was rather ok

The truffle pasta wasn't tasty at all; it tasted very oily. Apparently, they used truffle oil, which obviously doesn't reflect the quality. Truffle pasta isn't recommended; it lacks seasoning and has a very strong aftertaste. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. The pizza had tasteless arugula on top (slightly yellow). The service was friendly. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Nice terrace, and motivated host who offered us a limonchello at the end. The food was ok, not very special but a relief after a holiday in Norway. The lady who served us seemed a bit less interested. The wine had already been opened before it was brought. Pouring was so rough that some of the wine spilled over the table, without any excuse. The same with the bottle of water. Finally, the table consisted of slats with gaps in between. Because of this, one of the limonchello glasses fell over, over our clothes. Not the best experience.

In de pizzeria gezeten – het eten was mwah, het miste net wat afwerking zoals een sausje of wat extra kaas. De bediening was rommelig: de serveerster morste water op tafel en schonk een al geopende fles wijn in, ook daarbij werd gemorst. Ze kwam wat lomp en ongeïnteresseerd over. Gelukkig probeerde de jongen aan de kassa het nog te redden met zijn vriendelijkheid en een likeurtje van het huis – zijn warme, attente houding was mooi attent en liet toch nog een goed gevoel achter

Sat in the pizzeria – the food was meh, it just lacked some finishing touches like a sauce or some extra cheese. The service was messy: the waitress spilled water on the table and poured an already opened bottle of wine, which also spilled. She came across as a bit clumsy and uninterested. Fortunately, the boy at the cash register tried to save it with his friendliness and a liqueur on the house – his warm, attentive attitude was a breath of fresh air and still left a good feeling

A completely fair lunch with friendly staff and delicious food. What more could you want? Sure, there could be a bit less traffic on Hoheluft, but nothing that a couple of Aperols can't fix. Highly recommended!

Food: The food was very good. The truffle pasta with strips of beef steak deserves special mention; it was delicious. The drinks were also very tasty. Portion Size: The portions were rather small. This is something to be aware of before your visit, especially if you're very hungry. Service & Waiting Time: We were there on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was already busy, which resulted in a somewhat longer wait for the food. The service seemed a bit overworked, but overall it was okay. Ambience: The restaurant was pleasantly busy and seemed lively without being overcrowded. Value for Money: Given the quality of the food, the value for money is okay, even if the small portions somewhat dampen the overall impression. Conclusion: A very tasty meal in a pleasant atmosphere, with minor drawbacks regarding the portion size and the waiting time. Recommended, especially for connoisseurs of high-quality food – but not necessarily for those with a big appetite.

The staff was nice, but they couldn't even speak proper German. My truffle pasta tasted like spaghetti with butter and salt, and paying €26.50 for it was really cheeky. The tables were very small, and everything was a bit squashed together. All in all, I wasn't very satisfied.

Fresh pasta, unfortunately some of which was sticky. The menu is straightforward but really interesting and good.

Die Location ist in Ordnung, ebenso der Service – freundlich, aber eher zurückhaltend. Die Getränkekarte und die Preise fanden wir gut und fair. Leider konnte uns die Pasta nicht ganz überzeugen. Ich hatte die Trüffelpasta – geschmacklich war sie okay, aber kein Trüffeltraum. Meine Freundin hatte die Lachspasta, auch hier war der Eindruck eher mittelmäßig. Was uns besonders enttäuscht hat: Die Portionen an den Nachbartischen waren deutlich größer. Wir hatten beide großen Hunger, sind aber nicht wirklich satt geworden. Insgesamt ein durchwachsenes Erlebnis – Luft nach oben ist definitiv da.

Delicious food but very poor service. Everything worked poorly from start to finish. For example, drinking came after eating… The toilets were very dirty and without toilet paper. Please do something about it because I would like to continue eating there!

Unfortunately, despite constant efforts, it wasn't a hit. The service still has a lot of potential in terms of processes, prioritization (cutlery comes when requested after the food, which was already only lukewarm and was served incorrectly twice in a row) and correctness, the food is edible, but not a high-flyer. Now it was off-peak and we heard “sorry” from the waitress at some tables. They were all nice and friendly. But there is more to a successful dining experience.

I ate there because I saw it on TikTok and was a little disappointed. I found the service a bit unfriendly and the food really wasn't good. I had the tagliatelle with truffle and strips of beef fillet. The beef fillet was really tough and inedible and tasted kind of old. The noodles are okay but the portion is too small for the price. Definitely wouldn't recommend the restaurant

What's the point of a chipped plate and a slightly dirty tablecloth if what's on it tastes great? The Italian flair of a really good kitchen, in which “Mama” serves up traditional recipes, adds to the enjoyment here. What the hosts do here for a relatively low price is rather rare on the Eppendorf promenade and is an absolute recommendation for this reason alone!

Apart from the reasonably tasty food (pasta with salmon), we unfortunately can't say anything good about the restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait outside for almost half an hour. The service was totally overwhelmed and loudly attacked each other, the atmosphere was terrible (we were in the shop next door, it was really hot and bad air, rickety seating, going to the toilet was scary because there was so much rubbish lying around), and last but not least, the coffee bean on the Sambuca (which you got on the house) was still moldy. Once and never again.

Neither friendly service nor good food. The truffle sauce was fatty and the fillet tips were tough. The Aperol consisted more of ice cubes than liquid. Too bad.

Really good service and extremely tasty pasta. The lunch menu in particular is highly recommended! We enjoyed everything, although the filled tortellini with white truffle cream were a bit expensive considering you only get 5 pieces. Otherwise everything was great!

An unforgettable culinary experience – 5 stars! I had the pleasure of dining at The Pasta Club and it was simply breathtaking. From the first second I felt welcome - the atmosphere is elegant, stylish and yet cozy. The lighting, the music and the entire interior create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly and yet unobtrusive. Every wish was read from our lips and the staff's recommendations were perfectly tailored. Now to the most important part – the food: Each course was a work of art in itself. The ingredients were fresh, of the highest quality and perfectly combined. Conclusion: “The Pasta Club” not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. If you are looking for an exceptional culinary experience, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

A true pleasure for all senses! I had the pleasure of visiting this Italian restaurant and I love it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with an authentic Italian touch. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive - you immediately feel welcome here. The food was simply fantastic! Every dish, from starters to desserts, was prepared with great attention to detail. The homemade pasta and fresh ingredients were an absolute highlight. I was particularly impressed by the wine selection, which goes perfectly with the dishes. A big compliment to the entire team! I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience authentic Italian cuisine.

We had 4 different pasta dishes and each of them had no taste. Unfortunately not seasoned or anything like that. Tried to tell the waitress, but no interest was shown.

I asked the waitress nicely whether there was egg in the noodle when I ordered. I was then insulted and insulted. Maybe this waitress should be replaced. I'm happy to respond to this comment and I'll let you know who it was by email. As a restaurant you are definitely not interested in such behavior.

Overall, we were unfortunately very dissatisfied with our visit. The antipasti platter “de la Casa” for 12 euros was particularly disappointing. It consisted of exactly one piece of zucchini, one piece of beetroot, one piece of eggplant and one broccoli and cauliflower floret. It seemed careless and had nothing to do with a classic antipasti platter. We then had to wait a full 45 minutes for the main course. Although the pasta tasted okay, it was simply too small for an average price of 18 euros per portion. On the pasta with scampi there were exactly 4 scampi and what is sold here as beef strips, we ignore that. We ended up leaving the restaurant hungry, which shouldn't happen with these prices. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't ideal either. Although we were happy to get a seat at all as it was very full, the tables were so close together that there was hardly any privacy. In addition, the entrance door opened and closed about 5 times per minute, which is really unpleasant at -2 degrees. All in all, our conclusion is: disappointing value for money, long waiting times and no cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately not recommended.

Service was simply uncoordinated, we had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. and we didn't get our table until 7:40 p.m., tiramisu was a 3/10, I don't think I would go there again, for me that was just a bad one experience.

The kitchen and the service were great. I didn't find any atmosphere. We sat in the entrance area, it was very cold there, blankets should be provided here.

Really lovely little Italian place. We ordered the pumpkin ravioli which was great and a seafood pasta dish. The pasta was fresh and the sauces full of flavour. We shared a tiramisu, which I can highly recommend. Good for a romantic evening.

The homemade truffle pasta is sensational. A small shop with a nice atmosphere and very, very fair prices. Absolute recommendation!

One of my favorites, a very cheap and delicious lunch on the Hoheluftchaussee. Daily variety of dishes, pasta always freshly made, generally fresh ingredients. The bread in front of it and the soup as part of the lunch menu even complete the whole thing to the extent that in 2024 you will hardly find anything comparable in this area.

There are around 25 outside tables, but the kitchen only manages to cook for half of them. We only got our average meal when we asked after almost 1 hour and 30 minutes. The red wine is right next to the kitchen and is served without refrigeration - for me at least 25 degrees Celsius. Overall, I don't recommend it, although the waiters tried very hard, but were also completely overloaded!

Food is very very tasty. Not fancy but very good Italian cuisine and really tasty pasta. Unfortunately the service is really bad. Waiters are listless, you have to constantly draw attention to yourself. Everything takes forever and often turns out wrong. I've been there three times now and only because of the really delicious pasta. But there won't be a fourth time. The cleanliness of the tables also leaves something to be desired. Also a service issue.

The food was swimming in oil, The staff was quite friendly, except that there was a huge argument between a waitress and the chef. The cook was screaming so that it could be heard outside (very unpleasant). The food itself was fresh but totally bland and boring, not even salt and pepper were used

Unfortunately the service is extremely slow and the food arrived cold. The portion is also mini.

Very nice and warm staff (5 stars for that) and there was an aperitif and digestif on the house. Also bread and olives, which were really tasty. However, unfortunately all three of our pasta dishes were very bland and tasteless. The asparagus-gambas pasta contained exactly three shrimps and the eggplant pasta with feta hardly tasted like eggplant nor was it feta but more like shepherd's cheese (cow's milk). The truffle pasta was OK but can't keep up in comparison (within Hamburg). The portions are also relatively small. It's a shame, but the store has potential!
