Delicious food, recommended. Sometimes it takes a while.

I can highly recommend the food and especially the steak and the pickled salad.

Unfortunately, the reviews, which have already pointed out the poor service (slow and inattentive) several times(!), don't seem to really change anything. But I'll try again anyway. Food is ok, a bit too much salt, BUT for this price level we expect much better service. Just waiting at the entrance for 15 minutes until someone "dropped by" to get one of the many free tables, then after 1 hour 15 minutes there was still no food on the table. But the best thing was, in response to our very clear comment made by all guests, that it takes a long time to simply reply to everyone: "No, the waiting time isn't too long..." So that's very arrogant and in no way appropriate Behave. Drinks were also delivered very late and incorrectly. Please hire professionals if you want to be a high-end place or adjust your prices to suit the service. The poor kitchen, which is also affected by the service.

Really outstanding - from A to Z. The tartare is actually a must, and the porterhouse steak was the best I've ever eaten. The fact that we were able to bring our dog with us was really the cherry on the cake. The fact that he even got a bone was that certain extra (and his absolute highlight). Be sure to go and bring your dog with you – he will thank you!

Fantastic experience and great service

Really lovely upscale restaurant. It's located in the ground floor of the Andaz Hotel (a Hyatt concept hotel), so expect a good amount of higher class guests here. We didn't notice a special dress code and felt perfectly welcome with our summerly attire. Service: The head waiter was excellent in all categories. Very friendly, warm, professional and authentic. His drink recommendations were very good and any upselling attempts were always friendly and fitting, without being pushy. The other staff was professional and friendly but mostly kept in the background. Food: Decent sized menu with good options, including vegan & vegetarian items. Both our starters were very good. The burrata was top quality and the mix of basil/salt lemon/peach made this a good choice for a summer evening. The TNT (hot&spicy) prawns fried in some nice crispy coating had a slight kick to them so would even be a good choice for someone who likes some but not too much spice. Personally, I could do with some more TNT - but taste wise, they were fantastic. The mains were both good. The tartar was already prepped and was of high quality - but it was more on the salty side. The spider steak was grilled to perfection - I had asked for medium rare and I got it as ordered. The chimichurri and herbs were extra and was delicious. The Belgian fries were crispy and delicious, the truffle mayonnaise was great as well. Drinks: All four cocktails that we've had were fantastic. Glassware was good as well. Nothing to complain here. Special thanks to the waiter who paid attention to my wife's taste profile and recommended just the right spritz type cocktail that wasn't on the menu. Location: The terrace is on the backside of the hotel, so not situated directly next to the (big) road. The house offers shadow in the late afternoon/evening but there were sunshades as well. The outdoor chairs we sat in were very comfortable and not too narrow. The inside looks modern and stylish. The restaurant has an open-kitchen concept, so you can watch the staff prepare your food. The interior is next to the hotel lobby, where you can find artwork, great interior design elements and the stairs down to the very clean, modern and generous bathrooms. Prices: As this is catering more to the upclass, prices are definitely above-average. Cocktails were around the €15 mark each, a 0,75l bottle of water around €9, main courses between €30-50 each (with some more pricier options as well). You do get value for money though, as everything was really fulfilling or exceeding expectations - so, if the prices don't scare you, I can absolutely recommend this place. Thank you for hosting us, we really enjoyed the evening!

The starters were good but the main course was not what I expected. The architecture and table concept could have been better.

Wir hatten eine experience gebucht, das Menu war also vorgegeben. Beim „ersten Gang“ sollte es Brot mit hummus geben - die Bedingung war der Meinung das es mit Oliven Öl besser schmeckt und hat uns einfach kein hummus gebracht. Erst als wir darauf bestanden haben wir hummus erhalten - ich mag einfach den Geschmack von Olivenöl nicht und trocken wollte ich es auch nicht essen? Bei der Nachspeise gab es noch eine Kugel Eis dazu. Wir haben mit bekommen das die Tische nebenan auswählen durften welche Sorte sie wollten - wir nicht, für uns hat sie einfach eine Sorte ausgesucht. Auch haben wir mit bekommen wie sie dem Tisch nebenan ihre Visiten Karte gebracht hat und meinte wenn sie nochmal kommen sollen sie anrufen usw. - sehr sus. Einem anderen Tisch hat sie einfach Dessert verschenkt Alles in einem das Essen war in Ordnung, der Service nicht dem Preis entsprechend

Das Smoker Grill Menü war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich 👍🏻 Die Vorspeisen excellent und die Nachspeisen ein Gedicht! Alles in allem wieder einmal komplett gelungen 🥇

Qualität hat seinen Preis (aber etwas günstiger wäre gut) Essen 1A. Service auch Top (nur der Kelner hatte bei uns den Tisch verwechselt. Kann ja mal vorkommen) Werde auf jedenfall wieder dort Essen

Pricey, but the quality of food makes for it.

We were allocated a table and brought a card, but then unfortunately no one came from service for over 15 minutes, even though there wasn't much going on. Not even for drinks. Sorry, but that's not why I pay these prices. Then left without ordering.

Eine sehr gute Auswahl an hochwertigen Gerichten. Wir haben uns für einen Cut vom ANDAZ DRY AGED entschieden. Das Rind wird bei regionalen Landwirten in Bayern aufgezogen und beim Metzger Max "in Form gebracht". Anschließend hängt das Fleisch 60-80 Tage im eigenen Haus ab. Der Geschmack ist eine Wucht! Wir kommen gerne wieder und haben das Restaurant bereits weiterempfohlen ;-)

Top across the board. Reception, food, service, ambience. You feel well looked after from start to finish and the food was without exception of top quality!

Attentive service, good food. My steak wasn‘t as tender as I would have liked, but I did appreciate the flame-grilled aroma. What soured our night was the fact that the couple seated at the table next to ours had their dog with them and it barked incessantly at anything that moved – the blackboard with the meat specials of the day, the dessert cart, a baby stroller, a woman walking with a crutch. More than once, I dropped my fork from being startled by yet another yap attack. I‘m sorry to say this, but for a restaurant of this price category, this is simply unacceptable.

Had an excellent time at the Lonely Broccoli tonight. I got the Vegan Burger, which had so much flavor and was perfectly seasoned. For dessert, my dad got this chocolate brownie type dish, which they decorated in front of us (along with my mom’s crème brûlée)! It was an amazing experience and would definitely go again!

The food at the lonely broccoli is top notch. I can tell the woman grill master was taking her job seriously and it showed in the final product. Dinner consisted of the T-Bone to share and was very good. I also want to highlight the breakfast! Wow is all I can say!!! Top quality and fresh. Fruits, juices, meats, eggs and more!!

The steak was good. Waiting time was long. We didn't sit on the edge and it was a bit annoying that the waiter and the other guests kept walking past us. Wheelchair accessible and you can pay by card.

Despite the bad rating, my criticism is not negative, but should be understood as constructive criticism. Five stars are awarded in the areas of “food”, “service”, “ambience” and “overall rating”. I'll start with the best review, the service. There are 5 out of 5 possible stars here. The service was excellent at all times without exception - from the greeting, the escort to the table, taking the orders, the recommendations, the special requests, the serving, the careful handling (pouring, refilling, clearing away, etc.) everything is right here. Let's move on to the ambience. I give this 3 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere is very modern, very cozy and inviting. But why only 3 out of 5 stars? There is nothing moving, the restaurant is on the ground floor, you only have a view of the street and otherwise of the barren inner courtyard. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars if I had a great view, such as from the top floor of the Andaz. Let's move on to food, the main part of the review. 1 out of 5 stars. I'm rating the burger here. The bun was perfect, but the "star", the patty, was an insult to a burger. A frozen patty as thick as a “Berliner Bulette” has nothing to do with a burger. When a burger is offered for €29, I expect fresh minced meat and a homemade sauce. Here I'm comparing Gordon Ramsay's burger, for example. In terms of price, both play in the same league, but in terms of taste, the burger offered here is only in the regional league. A stamp “Wagyu” is synonymous with “Simmenthaler Rind”. What I want to say is: A name does not justify the price and is also not a quality feature. It would be ideal to form two thinner patties from one and chop them up on the grill. This brings more aroma to the taste. A homemade mustard or a tomato chutney is no challenge for a quality kitchen that wants to be “The Lonely Broccoli”. It is incomprehensible why this was not thought of here. Therefore only 1 star. And that is crucial for the overall rating. Because if someone says: It's unfair to rate the entire restaurant so poorly just because of one dish. Because if someone says: "It's unfair to rate the entire restaurant so poorly just because of one dish", then I say: No! Because the way one thing is approached is the way all things are approached. In this category, a restaurant must be excellent in all areas, in all the dishes offered and not just a select few.

A really great restaurant concept that... invites you to feast. The service was a bit slow for me considering the fact that it was very hard working and attentive. In addition, with this price range and presentation as fine dining with a sommelier and a large, well-equipped bar, I expect more non-alcoholic cocktails and aperitives. What struck me particularly positively was both the open kitchen concept for both the entremétier and (essential for a steak restaurant) the open grill and the ladies' toilet;)

One of the best experiences we had in Munich. Excellent quality of food, the kitchen did an incredible job. Great service, very knowledgeable about the selection and the wine list, special thanks to Fabian and his team who looked after us very well. Cozy atmosphere and not affected by the “Schwabing effect”. We were also able to enjoy the BROCCOLI'S STARTER SELECTION as a starter Burrata | Ceviche | Signature TLB Tatar | Home bread coming - a poem. And the truffle mayo is also highly recommended. No artificial and excessive truffle aroma.

Top restaurant for a business lunch

One of the best experience we had in Munich. Excellent food quality, kitchen did an incredible job. Everything is just right here. The service is top notch, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is wonderful. You can eat everything here. Price performance for everything is really good. I paid 125eur for a 3-course meal with side dishes as well as 2 alcoholic cocktails and 1 large bottle of water - it may seem like a lot, but it was a lot and the dessert show alone is worth it! The toilet in the hotel building (where the restaurant is) is also stunning! The whole building is super beautiful inside.

Not sure how it is possible to mess up a hamburger but they messed up a hamburger. The photo is their interpretation of a MEDIUM burger. The fries were so salty that they literally could not be eaten. And the arrogance and foofiness of the host can't be overstated. Never, ever again.

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere in a hotel. The two of us went there for dinner yesterday and had a reservation (recommended). The food was very good, but the prices are also on the higher end. The only point of criticism: the service yesterday was unfortunately only average, unfortunately we always had to wait a long time until our waitress found time for us. With high-end prices, the service simply has to be high-end.

Ein unvergesslicher Abend diesmal mit beef und beer afterwork, zu viert. Das Tatar was phantastisch und auch die danach kommenden Filetspitzen mit getrüffeltem Kartoffelstampf…ein Traum. Wir haben dann noch Portweinjus, Broccoli, Avocado, Pommes und noch andere Soßen dazu bestellt und es war natürlich viel zu viel, aber ein Hochgenuss. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend🤩

We had an amazing meal. We are foodies and this was an awesome dinning experience. The salmon was amazing. The whole fish was one of the best I’ve ever had. Truffle mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was so attentive and genuinely nice. We went to La Boheme the night before and it was also very good but the Lonely Broccoli was better.

Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here! Have been wanting to go here for some time and finally got the chance to. I tried a few side dishes and they were very good. I ordered the sweet potato, the truffle mashed potatoes and the Avacado. Seasoned amazingly with fresh herbs. Really enjoyed everything! I ordered too many sides but wanted to try as many as I could! Next time I go I will try others. Will definitely be going back. Service was great. Not rushed. Just right. Thanks for a great experience!

I have been going there and ordering for almost two years now. The quality has declined a bit, but I still like it because it is still better than at the average place. The restaurant is nice, the staff friendly…. But at this point I feel they are messing with us with the prices. 8 months ago they increased all prices by about 2€. The already expensive burger went from 25€ to 27€. The side salad from 4 to 7. Exaggerated, but fine, if I felt like having food from there, I went or ordered. Now they have increased the prices yet again and it’s getting ridiculous. The burger for 29€? Sorry, but it’s not that good. I draw the line here. I’m not playing this game anymore. It’s a pity.

Today we were able to spend my wife's birthday at the lonely broccoli. We were accompanied through the evening by Fabian. He was very polite and courteous and he was the perfect companion that evening. Big praise at this point, you can tell that he really enjoys his job. The food was a dream and the wine recommended by Fabian was terrific. We would also like to thank the team for the show performance regarding the dessert that my wife received as a gift. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back! 👌🏼

The food was very good, however, since it took so long they gave us an extra dish (which was also very good) which filled us up even more. When the food finally arrived, it was delicious but we couldn't finish it, our waitress was very kind and gave it to us to take away. Although it was a meat place they had vegetarian options. It was a great choice to spend Valentine's Day.

We were there on February 22nd. Dine in a restaurant with 12 people. The ambience is great, the service is very good and attentive. The food was good too. For this meal I need an invoice with the company address. The restaurant manager and our waiter Fabian assured me that I would receive the bill by email the next day. It's now been 2.5 weeks and I still don't have a bill. There was no response to my email request on March 4, 2024. No one can be reached at the phone number provided. I've never experienced anything like that. Maybe there will be a reaction now.

Been visiting this restaurant several times but no recognition nor warm welcome back gesture or greetings, felt like being treated as secondary due to the we took the experience offer

The best food (outside the star cuisine) and ambience that Munich offers. Can't say more because it was just perfect. If your wallet would allow it, a daily visit would be mandatory.

From the time we ordered we ate after an hour and twenty minutes! The meat came literally burnt. The kind waiter after I called him and showed it to him admitted that it was burnt and I was not charged for it. It was turned upside down on the plate so that it could not be seen at first glance. The space is beautiful. The glass of wine at €22 is overrated and the meat definitely not for €40 a plate for such poorly cooked meat. (Maybe the day of this picture just happened.) Polite personnel.

We were there for dinner last night and in the end we came to the conclusion that, in our opinion, the restaurant was 20-30% too expensive for the service offered. The shrimp were great, the meat was above average (but of course it's also a matter of taste ;)). Unfortunately, the side dish was already a bit colder when it arrived at our table. It should be noted that after a note from the waiter, the food was taken off the bill. The staff tries very hard, even if they are a bit slow at times and it gives the impression that everything takes a little longer. The restaurant is on the ground floor of a hotel and is therefore very spacious and, despite the large number of people, it doesn't feel very crowded. However, there was a slight draft at our place due to the large doors, the bench was also very large and not very comfortable to sit on, especially for smaller people. But now to what I think is the biggest disappointment. We have already been to a few restaurants in Munich and have come to terms with the fact that water is unfortunately usually overpriced. What “The Lonely Broccoli” is doing, however, borders on usury and is a total impudence. €9 for a 0.75l bottle of Adelholzener water is no longer justified. It should urgently be reconsidered whether this can still be in the customer's interest. For that money I can get almost two whole boxes at retail. In addition, when you sit down at the table without even looking at the menu, a bottle is more or less directly pressed into your eye. All in all, we had a lovely evening, which was marred by the above. Unfortunately we will not be visiting the restaurant again in the near future.

Delicious food but the service was bad, we waited a long time, the waiters were not professional at all. We had to ask for the dessert menus (no one offered us any when clearing out) twice when there were 5 tables remaining.

Auch das Mittagessen ist sehr gut. Die Pappardelle genau auf den Punkt. Der Caesar Salat knackig und der Speck darauf ein wahrer Genuss! Trotz Stress durch die Sicherheitskonferenz war der Service klasse und sehr freundlich 😊

Amazing evening with delicious food. Starters for two was perfect choice. Ceviche, tartare and buratta. Everything so delicious! Stake and burger, amazing! Cheesecake and tiramisu dream desserts after whole experience. Explosion of flavors, super friendly service. A bit expensive but it was worth.

We visited the restaurant on the Valentine’s Day 2024 for the first time. The atmosphere was very nice and the service too. We had our starter and then we have waited for our main course 1 hour and 15 minutes. My partner‘s meat was burned. He couldn’t even eat it. It was very disappointing since for such a nice restaurant and for such high prices it was not worth it. However our waiter was very helpful and he brought us another starter to please us. In the end my partner’s main course was not charged because he didn’t eat it. It was not worth to wait for so long time and get a burned meat.

If you want to have great quality steak and amazing cocktails, you ve gotta come here! Ok the place is not cheap but if you wanna treat yourself with some delicious meat, lonely broccoli is the place to be! I also tried one of the best wines of my life (the South African you see in the pictures and so hard to find too!). Great dining experience, I would repeat it!

Low quality steaks at highest price. The entrecote is greyish and not grilled. This restaurant claims to be a high end steak house but disappoints. Slow service. Not worth the money.

Der Service war leider sehr schlecht. Alles kam zu spät, wir mussten ständig nachfragen. Es wurde ständig etwas vergessen. Es wurde nicht nach Kaffee und Dessert gefragt. Wir mussten komplett auf Englisch bestellen- in einem deutschen Restaurant.

Das Ambiente ist super! Das Andaz ist fancy. Die Toiletten —> muss man gesehen haben. :) Service bemüht und aufmerksam. Das Essen (von Italien Sandwich bis Steak alles getestet) war ok, hat aber Luft nach oben. Das Sandwich würden wir nicht nochmal bestellen und obwohl ein Geburtstag angemeldet war, wurde dieser in keiner Form berücksichtigt (Dessert mit Kerzchen o.ä.) Evtl ist dies aber auch nicht mehr zu erwarten.

Gutes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und qualitativ hochwertigen Fleisch. Meinem Eindruck nach wurde das Servieren der Speisen auf jeden Tisch sehr gut individuell abgestimmt. Einziger Minuspunkt: Als wir bezahlt hatten mussten wir 2x fragen wo unsere zuvor abgenommenen Jacken wären. Die Kommunikation könnte hier noch etwas besser werden.

Mir geht es jetzt wirklich nicht um mein Geld, aber die Preise sind extrem überteuert. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber für diesen Preis erwarte ich einfach mehr. Ich mag es wenn die Stimmung lebendig ist, aber hier war es wie auf dem Bahnhof. An unserem Nachbartisch war auch extreme Unzufriedenheit zu spüren.
