Wonderful Breakfast at The Lonely Broccolini – Andaz Munich I had an excellent breakfast experience at The Lonely Broccolini. The food selection was fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented, with plenty of healthy options as well as indulgent choices. The bright and modern space, together with the garden view, made it even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Miss Zahra, who provided warm, attentive, and professional service throughout my visit. She made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. I would also like to recognize Mr. Albin, the front-of-house manager, whose thoughtful hospitality and seamless organization added a personal touch to the whole dining experience. Highly recommended – both for the quality of the breakfast and the outstanding team who made the morning memorable.

We had a wonderful evening at Lonely Broccoli yesterday. As always, Fabian's service was beyond excellent, and the food was outstanding. For starters, the "Green Lady" (Caesar salad with roasted romaine lettuce) and the mango ceviche are highly recommended. The veggie burger and beef tartare were delicious! We're already looking forward to our next visit in October...

We had a wonderful evening together. The service was absolutely top-notch, and our waiter made great recommendations. Everything was perfect.

The Lonely Broccoli in Munich is a classy and stylish spot with top-notch service. Their wine list is excellent, with plenty of great choices to pair with the meal. We started by sharing the tuna tartare, ceviche, and burrata—each dish was fresh, vibrant, and delicious. For the main course, we went with the mixed grill platter, which included tomahawk steak, beef, chicken, and prawns, all perfectly cooked and served with a wide variety of flavorful condiments. While it’s definitely on the pricier side, the quality of the food and overall experience make it well worth it.

All in all, highly recommended. Great and very attentive service, superb food quality! We'll definitely be back :-)

For that price, it was the worst meal I've ever eaten. The burger was terrible; the meat was tough and the bread was hard. He brought us the bill right after the meal without even asking for it, and we were practically thrown out. I don't recommend this restaurant!

Yet another one of those restaurants that claims to offer elegant, upscale cuisine, but unfortunately delivers only mediocre fare. Problem 1: We came with a large family group and were seated directly in the blazing midday sun. Even though the restaurant was basically empty, for some reason, changing seats wasn't possible. The parasols were firmly embedded in the ground and therefore couldn't be repositioned. After repeatedly pointing out that we were burning up, they couldn't/wouldn't move us. At this point, we really should have left the restaurant. Problem 2: The service wasn't particularly attentive; glasses and water bottles were constantly empty (in this heat...). On top of that, orders were forgotten. We had to remind people several times about wines we had ordered. That shouldn't be the case at this price level, and again: the restaurant only had two (!) other guests besides us. Problem 3: The price/performance ratio is simply not good, and customer requests are ignored. The burger was good, but simply not worth €27. You can get the same quality elsewhere for half the price. I had the pork tomahawk steak myself and asked for it cooked medium. What I got was so dry that it was practically inedible. At that point, I didn't even feel like saying anything else. The rest of the family wasn't particularly impressed either. The fact that we waited a good hour for the food didn't make it any better. Conclusion: Unfortunately, our mood was pretty low after the visit. It's a shame when you want to celebrate a birthday and think you'll find a correspondingly good restaurant in a 5-star hotel. However, the Lonely Broccoli was average at best in terms of taste, and the value for money is abysmal. A halfway decent Bavarian restaurant could do a better job – for a quarter of the price.

We went to the "Afterwork Beef and Beer" and had a truly delicious meal. The dessert was also fantastic. Very friendly service. We sat in the courtyard. Definitely give it a try.

Unfortunately, the reviews are somewhat misleading, and we decided to visit Lonely Broccoli instead. The restaurant has a chic, upscale feel, but neither the food nor the service even remotely justify the prices. Maybe you pay 20-30% more because the restaurant is located in a hotel?!? ...but for the same price, you get much more for your money in the city. We definitely can't recommend it.

Although you often have to wait quite a while for the food, it hasn't disappointed us so far. We can't help but rave about the tartar, in particular.

Wow, just take my word for it. Everything was just exceptional, we really enjoyed our time that we came back twice in the same week just to experience this amazing place again. The service is amazing and so is the food. The chefs as well as the bar tenders pay great attention to detail and this just goes the extra mile. A big shout out to Ms Eva who was an outstanding host. Will definitely come back again.

Unfortunately disappointing – long wait times despite the restaurant being empty I was there at lunchtime, when the opening hours should have been normal. Even though there were hardly any customers in the restaurant, I had to wait forever – and that was just to get the menu. A friendly welcome, but no indication as to whether I would be served immediately. Absolutely disappointing for a restaurant of this category and location. First impressions count – and unfortunately, they were abysmal.

Extremely friendly and competent service. The venue is quite nice and I liked the concept of the open kitchen. Food was alright, but honestly I expect better from such an upscale restaurant. I had a burger, and the tomato in it was cold. Combined with the burger patty being only medium done, I think it doesn’t work cause you feel like you’re eating a cold burger. Shrimp starter was delicious though!

Great location for (especially) meat lovers. Food absolutely excellent, quality feels like it has improved again. Service was also very friendly and exactly to the point. Of course the price is higher, but an experience that is definitely worth it!

Very nice restaurant with great food, but service still has a lot of room for improvement, you wait a long time for the menu, for the drinks, for the service staff in general, although the restaurant was not full and there was enough staff available, so that was not understandable

The service was good and attentive. The ambience is attractively designed, and the open kitchen in particular creates a modern atmosphere. Critical Notes: 1. Knives: The almost dull knives seemed inappropriate for a restaurant of this price range, especially with a meat-heavy menu. 2. Food: The taste of the dishes was good, but average compared to other upscale restaurants in Munich. A restaurant with good service and an appealing ambience, but which shows potential in terms of equipment (knives) and culinary distinction in relation to the price.

I ate there for the first time last week and can only recommend it if you like to eat good meat. In my opinion it is not for every day as it is fine dining. But it is affordable and quality only has its price. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I am also happy to say that it is barrier-free in every respect. - Ground level entrance - Toilets are easy to find in the basement (in the hotel, outside the hotel restaurant) So we'll be back

We went to Lonely Broccoli on a Friday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the evening there. We were warmly welcomed at the reception, and it quickly became apparent that there was a great atmosphere in the team - this was directly transferred to the atmosphere in the restaurant. A big compliment goes to our waiter Fabian: with his expertise, his charm and his pleasant manner, he really made our evening special. It's rare to experience such attentive and authentic service - definitely the best in a long time! :) The food was excellent. We can particularly recommend the tartare and the truffled mashed potatoes – both a real highlight. The tables are pleasantly placed – especially for Munich standards. In my personal opinion, the distance to the neighboring tables could be a little larger, but that's really complaining at a high level. Conclusion: We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the next lovely evening at Lonely Broccoli!

Unfortunately very disappointing; I was really looking forward to a really tasty beef fillet, but then I got a 1 cm thick slice that wasn't medium rare, but rather well-done due to its thickness. For €44.00 (without side dishes) I expected something different, which is a shame

Really a great restaurant and highly recommended! The guest is so much in the foreground here! I was even brought a small stool for my handbag so I didn't have to put it on the floor (which really wouldn't have been a problem as it wasn't an expensive bag). I found that very thoughtful! The service was really on point, the food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. In addition, despite the fact that it was a Saturday, it was a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a recommendation!

The tastiest food in all of Munich! Super authentic staff with very nice service! The dishes are all made with love and taste like they come from another planet - simply fantastic!

The overall package was convincing. Sensationally good steaks and creatively prepared starters. The T bone steak is definitely recommended, as is the chilli prawns as a starter, and a bottle of Ruinart rounds the whole thing off to 5 stars.

Definitely didn’t take any broccoli ;) Incredibly delicious mixture for your senses! I have tried the veggie burger and the “lonely island” as dessert - and I will order them again ;) Very polite and kind people working in a very spacious and relaxing environment! Thumbs up!

We were in Lonely Broccoli with my partner for my birthday and had the Meatwoch menu! The food was excellent, especially the dry-aged T-bone. It was also the best tartar I have ever tried. Our host Ilias was also very pleasant and professional. 😋

We were there for Smoker Day with a reservation, the food was very good. The service is not acceptable for the price range. Waiting 15 minutes for a seat and then 30 minutes for drinks was too long for us. The Smoker Day that had already been paid for was then included in the bill again and only corrected when we informed us. We found this error very strange, since Smoker Day is paid for in advance by default. Seating on the couch was sagging and uncomfortable, would require a table with an armchair in the future. All in all a rather mixed experience, we probably won't be coming back.

We had an excellent evening with fantastic service. A big thank you in particular to Fabian, who hosted us wonderfully and went beyond our wishes. And the fact that our Brazilian BBQ expert companion was more than enthusiastic about the meat speaks for the quality of the food.

120€ per person and neither starter nor dessert is included rarely expensive in an already very expensive city. Service cannot match the price level. The food took an extremely long time (over 1 hour). The quality of the food was decent, but nowhere near commensurate with the price and without any wow effect. Once and not a second time. Unfortunately.

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant war wirklich hervorragend. Wir hatten sowohl ein Fleisch- als auch ein Fischgericht, und beide waren geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass zu den ohnehin schon hochpreisigen Hauptgerichten sämtliche Beilagen, wie Gemüse oder Saucen, separat bestellt und bezahlt werden mussten. Dadurch wurden die Gerichte sehr teuer – beispielsweise lag das Hauptgericht allein schon bei 44 €. Die Location hat uns persönlich weniger angesprochen, da es durch die Lautstärke, die durch das offene Konzept kam und die Atmosphäre eher ungemütlich wirkte. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich den ausgezeichneten Service: das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Das Essen war fantastisch, und der Service war top. Allerdings sind die Preise für die gebotene Atmosphäre zu hoch – vor allem, da Beilagen extra kosten.

Es hat seinen Preis. Aber Essen und vor allem der Service war mehr als gut. Ich war kurz davor, mir danach die Restaurant-Leitung an den Tisch zu rufen und mich für alles zu bedanken :)

Huhn, Trffelnudeln sowie das Ribeye Steak waren super lecker 😋 Die Nachspeise: The Lonley Iland war ein Hochgenuss ⭐️

Service was in total disarray. There were waiters who worked and others who just seemed to float around. The floor manager has an issue. We had to ask for our drinks several times. Food was faster. Beer was flat and lukewarm second time around. But our Walter did her best. Kudos to her.

I was here with my family on a weekend and made a reservation in advance, which is definitely worth it. It was quite busy, but that's a good sign: the food was absolutely delicious and the waiters were all very friendly. I had a salad that was very very fresh. Great restaurant.

We arrived 1 1/4 hours early (!!!) No problem - we were seated immediately. Service was outstanding and food, as always, first class. Special place - one of my favourites in Munich.

Wunderbarer Abend mit gutem Essen und noch besserem Service

The two of us wanted to enjoy a Christmas menu as non-hotel guests, but we decided on a la carte dishes on site. What unfortunately lasted throughout the evening was extremely inattentive service. We waited almost 45 minutes after ordering for our drinks, had to point it out twice and then received them late and without an apology. Which in comparison worked out extremely quickly if you wanted a wine recommendation or accompaniment. Here the service at the neighboring tables was apparently much more attentive. The starter (one!) Came after more 1 hour, the main course (meat selection to share) after more than 1 1/2 hours. We had to remember which side dishes were ordered and that sauces belong to the court. After paying we were left alone (last table in the section), no one thought to ask us if we wanted our jackets back. Simply annoying. The food was OK, but a bit disappointing for the price. For good meat, you might as well eat out more centrally. The atmosphere is certainly nice, but unfortunately we were seated at a somewhat remote table. It blew through the terrace door and was unfortunately “a bit” fresh. To be honest, I wouldn't come again because the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us. Not to mention the service.

Service und Location sind super! Jedoch fand ich das Steak sehr zäh, ich hatte Medium bestellt - es kam jedoch eher „well done“. Ist etwas schade für einen Laden, der eher auf Steaks spezialisiert ist… 44€ für ein Filet ohne Beilage ist auch eine Ansage - dafür muss es auch sitzen.

Very good steak restaurant with very good service and a nice ambience with an industrial look. You can even watch the chefs from the seat. 😊 Only the choice of meat is significantly limited compared to first-class steak restaurants such as the Golden Kalb or the KVR. However, what you get is very good quality. You have to try the starters (tartar and ceviche) and the chocolate crumble! 😊

Vorspeise und Hauptspeise waren geschmacklich Top, leider war das Fleisch der Hauptspeise nur lauwarm, stellenweise sogar kalt.

Zu aller erst: der Service war Mega. Das Essen war zwar gut, aber bei den Preisen würde ich doch noch mal ein anderes Level erwarten. Da hab ich schon besseres erlebt. Das Ambiente und auch vor allem die Toiletten sind absolute Knaller. 

I was very satisfied with my visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant, service was friendly and the food was excellent - both in terms of taste and appearance. The only point that didn't quite suit my taste was the concept of “sharing is caring”. I prefer to enjoy my own dish instead of sharing everything :)

We tried the RINDERFILET (200g) Färse, and it was absolutely superb—cooked to perfection, tender, and rich in flavor. The steak alone is reason enough to visit, showcasing the exceptional quality of the ingredients. The side dishes were well-executed and complemented the main dish nicely, though the steak was undoubtedly the highlight. The restaurant’s modern ambiance and the terrasse option add to the overall appeal, making it a great spot for a special occasion or an indulgent treat. That said, it’s important to note that The Lonely Broccoli & Terrasse is on the more expensive side. While the prices reflect the high-quality food and service, it’s not a casual dining option. If you’re willing to splurge a bit for an outstanding steak and a refined atmosphere, this place will not disappoint.

The food was OK. It seems that it is mainly hotel guests and business-related groups who eat here. The service was not attentive (not all, but mostly), the waiters appear untrained. Overall, if you approach it in a relaxed manner, acceptable but not ok for the contributions for food or wine. The manager is visibly missing here.

Food was excellent, service on the other hand disappointing!

Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, das Ambiente war schön. Das Steak war leider nicht perfekt zubereitet, was sehr enttäuschend war. Allerdings haben die Beilagen wie der Ceaser Salad, Trüffel Pommes, Kartoffel Püree & die verschiedenen Soßen umso besser geschmeckt. Das Dessert hat unser Erlebnis abgerundet, alles in einem trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Amazing! I live in Munich and go here at least once a Month. Super capable Staff and Kitchen, the food is incredible steaks cooked to perfection and even the “cheaper” options like the Wagyu burger are fantastic. Very modern interior also nicely spaced out tables great for dates and or business meetings just as the area around the restaurant is very nice, all in all great you get what you pay for the atmosphere is very calm and relaxed and not a single time have i been disappointed here!

Unfortunately it was the worst steak in recent years. We were here in August - back then it was much better - unfortunately this time the food was disappointing to bad.

A vibrant and popular steakhouse located on the ground floor of Andaz hotel in Munich. The appetizers prepared in the open kitchen by the talented Turkish chef Tunc were all delicious. TNT shrimps with passionfruit were unique and tasty. The ceviche and tartare were fresh. T-bone steak from the open barbecue was also properly done. The service was friendly. I am coming back🧿

The lonely Broccoli is a steak restaurant in the Andaz Hotel in Schwabing. Nice upscale ambience with open kitchens as well as outdoor seating and appropriate service. The waitresses are very helpful and the starters and main courses taste impeccable. Local beer on tap and also a good wine list. The price of the restaurant is rather upscale. There were four of us there and everyone was completely satisfied.

Steak leider nicht auf den Punkt gebracht. Dafür ist es dann doch zu teuer. Sidedishes gut. Ambiente sehr schön, es kommt aber auch nur Hallenstimmung auf. Das Restaurant ist viel zu kalt. Das Unbehagen sieht man auch an den andere Gästen (Pulli, Strickjacke, Weste). Das sollte vor allem dem Restaurantleiter aber auch dem Personal auffallen. Schade, meine Dame hatte ein sexy schickes Kleid für diesen Abend ausgesucht, musste aber dann leider ihre Jacke anbehalten, weil es zu kalt war. Im Ganzen mittelmäßig bis enttäuschend.

Wir hatten das Mittagsmenü und waren sehr zufrieden. Burger war saftig und geschmackvoll und die Pommes sehr gut.

Nice upscale atmosphere with appropriate service. We enjoyed the food and you could see into the open kitchen while it was being prepared. Unfortunately, the vegetable side dishes were a little too greasy for our taste and the price was a bit steep.

I ordered a dish (veal cheek) and the description of the dish did not mention that it had "pepper" (of some kind). The dish would have been perfect if it had not been "extremely" spicy. At the end of the meal, we ordered an espresso, which they picked up outside the restaurant... and it came without a spoon to stir the coffee. We complained and the waitress did not charge us for the coffee... and we did not pay the 10% service charge. The restaurant is beautiful, with a classy atmosphere... but I did not like these details.
