Always worth a visit. Great atmosphere and friendly service

The pork chop was delicious, the heat was just right and the ribs were well seasoned. However, the waiter's attitude was off-putting. The two of us hoped to sit in a slightly larger table, but the waiter seriously stated that a large table would only be assigned if we ordered enough food. However, I observed that at least a few couples were seated at tables for four, and it seemed we were the only ones asked to sit at the small table. This kind of differential treatment makes people feel very unfriendly and even discriminatory towards foreigners. It's a good idea to have a good time. ir nur dann einen größeren Tisch bekommen könnten, wenn wir genug bestellen. Dabei habe ich beobachtet, dass mindestens einige Paare an Vierertischen saßen. unfreundlich an,fast schon diskriminierend gegenüber Ausländern.

Really disappointing second experience. First time my partner and me had the ribs, they were amazing. We came in a second time tonight and my portion of ribs was really disappointing. Dry, only bones with barely any meat on them, definitely not worth 20€. We let the waiters know and at least they took them off our bill and were nice about it. However, they said that "it happens sometimes" . Maybe the food should be checked before leaving the kitchen, so the restaurant doesn't charge the costumers 20€ for a portion of bones.

The food was delicious and the portions were large enough. However, the mini table at the corner for 5 people is very narrow and uncomfortable: if you don't have any space while eating and are completely squeezed in, then that spoils the enjoyment...

I would like to share my experience in this restaurant. Unfortunately the service was not satisfactory. The waitress brought us the bill early, even though we hadn't finished eating, and pushed us for a 10% tip, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, the bill only listed the total amount, without a detailed breakdown of the items ordered, which made things even more confusing. I therefore cannot recommend this restaurant. I would like to share my experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The server exhibited discriminatory behavior and was quite unfriendly. They brought us the bill before we had finished our meal and pressured us for a 10% tip, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, the receipt only showed the total amount without a breakdown of the ordered items, making it confusing. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Ribs could've been better. Maybe the cook had a bad day because the ribs them self were very succulent, but the way they were finished wasn't really appetizing. They had an extreme aftertaste from the sheet or the grill, but still, I will give them an another chance. And I definitely recommend the ribs. As a ribs fan, I was very disappointed and a bit sad.

I didn’t meet the white girl who said on the Internet that she was discriminating against Chinese people. She was a young lady with black hair. She saw that we were so spicy that she gave us free milk. It tasted really good, but I don’t recommend it because it’s too spicy. Industrial spicy food doesn’t taste good.

Amazing place. We stayed at Antonio's with a group of friends with children. Antonio welcomed us like friends. Delicious food, incredible welcome, pleasant place. Antonio will remain a pleasant memory in our trip. Super and unmissable!!!!

Nice inn in southern Lehel with an extensive menu - from tarte flambée to burgers you can find everything. Outdoor area on two sides of the corner house, so that you can usually find a sunny spot even in the narrow old building. Service very friendly and attentive. For the price, honest cuisine, even if there is room for improvement here, which would give it the fifth star for me.

A very hospitable pub, good service friendly staff, excellent food. I had very good ribs my partner had cheese spartzle which was reported as excellent. Of course the beer was very good. I would recommend booking as it was very busy although there were always a few tables spare.

Great service. Our Airbnb is next door and we weren’t able to check in yet and it was raining. We came just before they opened and they were gracious enough to let us come in with our luggage and serve us drinks until the kitchen was open. Friendly staff and great food! A good shop to get something to eat. We really liked the layout and presentation of the dishes. The food was also good, but I would have liked salt on the fries.

The food was delicious. But the waitress was impolite. She didn't show us the bill and told us straight away how much we had to pay. It wasn't until after payment that I found out she took a 10% tip. The menu says tipping is voluntary at this restaurant. But when questioned, she said that in Germany, restaurants automatically charge a 10% tip. Her deception made us feel very uncomfortable. A 10% tip isn't much, and we would have gladly paid it if she had acted like the other waiters and waitresses when we asked for the bill.

Great ribs! The full portion is good for two to share — but that will leave you pretty full and no room for anything else. We got two beers, the full size bbq ribs, and two side fries and finished all but very full. Delicious meal and well seasoned fries.

Went to the Mariannenhof again today. I have to say Lisa and Martin really super friendly empathy full waitresses great service from the kitchen perfect food from the boss super management all around Felt comfortable honestly except for one waitress of Russian origin who constantly asked for tips from foreign guests, which was the same with us country there is no law at all. I have to say if this lady served me, I would leave the restaurant straight away. Embarrassing, embarrassing, embarrassing for the restaurant for the boss Martin and Lisa, overall grade one and especially for the kitchen, overall grade one, thank you for spoiling us so well

A young white female waiter asked for a tip in a sarcastic tone (seemingly only for Chinese people), turned around and left after giving it. There is no service at all, unless the forced fake smile is also a smile. The ribs are delicious, but the service makes people lose their appetite.

A fun and relaxing place to be. I was part of a party of eight which had dinner. The food was good (lots of North American options) and the seating was either indoors or out (sidewalk seating which was comfortable and protected from sun and rain). The kids loved it.

We zijn er gaan eten omdat het hoog aangeschreven stond. Het eten is prima en de bediening is inderdaad aardig en opgepakt. Wij kregen het voorgerecht tegelijk met een hoofdgerecht. Ook maakte de bediening andere vergissingen met de drankjes terwijl het niet heel druk was. Wanneer je rustig wilt eten met je kinderen (wel een goede menu kaart voor kinderen) kan dat hier prima. Maar zeker geen verborgen parel. In Altstadt zijn een hoop meer goede eetgelegenheden.

The pork ribs are good, but the waiter has a stinky face and vigorously demands a 10% tip.

Highly recommend this place. Me and my partner came for dinner, I had the ribs & they had Bravia’s burger &it was immense. The ribs massive but so tasty and the burger was as my partner put it “best burger they have ever had” And the cocktails are exactly what you want. Not a small glass with loads of ice. You get a real cocktail In a proper glass full. Love this place!

The service is totally awful. After we finished our meal, we asked the servers for three times and had to wait for nearly an hour until we get our bill. The waitress came outside to serve the others but she pretended that she didn’t see my request and intentionally ignored me. It’s such a terrible experience.

Sicherlich nett um dort abends etwas trinken zu gehen. Aber als Speiselokal für uns nicht zufriedenstellend. Wir hatten einen Klassik Burger (war ok), Cordon Bleu (Käse extrem dominant), Flammkuchen (als Snack ok) und Sparerips (fettig, knorpelig, BBQ-Sauce nicht würzig). Die Kellnerin war immerhin sehr freundlich.

Ich bin vor langer Zeit zufällig über und in den Mariannenhof gestolpert. Und habe mich verliebt :-) Er ist gleichzeitig die Augustinerwirtschaft, die man sucht UND hat ein paar wirklich leckere Spezialitäten (manche haben ja die Spareribs schon erwähnt ... In unterschiedlichen Varianten und Größen... mir läuft beim Schreiben bereits das Wasser im Mund zusammen). Wenn ich es mal schaffe von denen zu lassen - auch die anderen Gerichte sind lecker. Sogar die vegetarischen... und das von mir als Fleischfresser ;-) Cocktails lecker und die richtige Größe, Bier top. Weine auch und trotzdem bezahlbar. Und die Kurzen sind zu meinem Leidwesen auch sehr lecker. Ein letzter Beweis, dass ich mich dort wohl fühle? Hab nun zum dritten Mal dort Geburtstag gefeiert mit Freunden. Diesmal in etwas größerer Runde. Das Team ist mit Spaß dabei und gibt immer gute Tipps... Zu viel vorgeschwärmt? Probiert es aus! Wir sehen uns dort!

A long time ago I accidentally stumbled across and into the Mariannenhof. And I fell in love :-) At the same time it is the Augustinian restaurant you are looking for AND has some really tasty specialties (some people have already mentioned the spare ribs... In different versions and sizes... my mouth is already watering as I write this). If I manage to give up on them - the other dishes are also delicious. Even the vegetarian ones... and that from me as a carnivore ;-) Cocktails delicious and the right size, beer great. Unfortunately, wine too and still affordable. And the short ones too, to my chagrin. A final proof that I feel comfortable there? I celebrated my birthday there for the third time with friends. This time in a slightly larger group. The team is fun and always gives good tips... Raved too much? Try it out! See you there!

The ribs were well cooked and lightly seasoned. I've been here twice and it didn't taste as good as the first time. But overall it's okay, and the price has increased.

Been there twice now. The first time we weren't served for 40 minutes "because there was so much going on" (1/3 of the tables outside were empty). The second time the service was great, but the food was average at best. Salad with goat cheese for €16 was pretty lame (mainly iceberg lettuce). For €7.90(!) we got a small portion of very limp sweet potato fries.

Very rude waitress and racist. We have waited more than an hour at the table waiting to take order. The waitress kept ignoring us and eventually she said the kitchen was close and no food can be ordered with a very bad attitude. This is totally unacceptable.

Visited today at 16.30 , ordered ribs , salad , fries and beer , after a while the beer arrived , I put it aside waiting for my food , then the waitress came and told me there were no ribs but because she had put in the order I have to take something else , i said I came specially for the ribs , after s dirty look she informed me i had to pay for the beer , 4.60 euro even though I had not touched it and did not drink it on an empty stomach . I paid and left ! So be warned !!!

Terrible Terrible Terrible, we order 3 foods and 1 to go, half an hour (1.5 hour later) we walk in close to kitchen and find our food in 4 boxes to go They Just ignored our humble questions, where / when is the food coming 1 hour 50 minutes from order we got our food, no excuses, no discount, nothing I hope they didn't spit in the food...

We had a reservation and could not order anything in an hour, they didn’t communicate well and kept promising we will be served in 15 minutes instead we waited alltogether almost 2,5 hours to eat. Dinner at 22:15 instead of 20:00. In the end the food was delicious, however, and they did give us a 200 EUR discount. My advice to the owner: learn to say no. You could have turned us down and let us order only drinks.

Nice shop in a quiet area 15 minutes from Munich City Hall. Of course, it was a Sunday afternoon, so there was generally a quietness in the city. From there in 10 minutes you are in the English Gardens. We ate excellent schnitzel, nice hamburger but no side dish (e.g. fries) and the falafel salad vegetarian excellent choice.

The ribs were seasoned to perfection, the service was top notch ant the location away from the main street was perfect.

I was in München for a business congress Overall it is a Very nice place to live, well organised. In the cons of my visit all shops , taxis, restaurants, they avoided to give invoices.

Firstly I would recommend the food. Secondly, I was not satisfied with the service. The waitress didn't act like a waitress at all. When we ordered, we just wanted to double check the food and she immediately got impatient and said that she knew what we were talking about. We already speak German and she wanted to speak English to us, so we had to communicate in English. Then when it was time to pay, we waited a long time for our table and she gave priority to the table that came after us, even though she clearly saw that our table was empty, isn't that racist？ In the end she tried to ask for a tip which I did because of her She didn't want to give a terrible attitude and she even taught the guest that it is customary to tip in Germany? But sorry, I'm a student in Munich and understand the tipping culture and don't need their arrogant teachings. Posto super friendly nel cuore di Monaco! La schnitzel era buonissima e anche ovviamente la/le birre che abbiamo assaggiato. Piccolo plauso al barista Giacomo Antonio, gentilissimo e disponibile, attento ai clienti e alla chiacchiera (che oramai è cosa rara!)

We were there yesterday as a guided group on a city tour and had very good food there. The staff was very friendly even though there were only two of them for so many people. Thank you for the nice service. We would like to come again.

It is difficult to understand previous positive ratings. my 11 year old son wrote this : Three families came before us they got their food before our drinks We counted , he came 13 times on our row , we told him every time can you bring our drinks he said yeah yeah yeah But I think he wanted to say no no no. When he finally brought the drinks my mother asked we also have ordered food… Waiter :Oh yeah you have a ………….. Best ribs and sweet potato fries in Germany. Almost every flavour of ribs is incredible!

We were there on a Friday evening and the dining room was full. Accordingly, you had to be patient with the drinks and food. Augustiner on tap - you don't need a review... The spare ribs/fries are good in terms of price and performance - but they are not the best in MUC. Tarte flambée has good, unusual toppings - implementation is very solid. Anyone who is a child of the 80s will feel very comfortable in the guest room and its musical accompaniment! Gladly and immediately again!

Went to the restaurant 2 hours ahead of my original reservation, Liza attended us with warm welcome. The food was good and the waitress Liza service was excellent who handling everything except cooking given that she was the only person handling 8 group of guests. Glad to visit to this restaurant and luckily I were not frightened off by the bad reviews of this restaurant.

Relaxed, friendly vibe; but still efficient. As most reviews mentioned meaty dishes, I was concerned what veggie/fish dishes would be available for me. I needn’t have worried, there was plenty of tempting choice. The pan-fried salmon I opted for was delicious!

The whole portion of beef ribs is really big, and the meat is very juicy, and it is easy to separate from the bones, but the sauce is too greasy after eating it for a long time. I highly recommend their black truffle fries, which are crispy and delicious like a spoon. The quality of the waiters needs to be improved, they feel a bit indifferent, and this restaurant feels like it is a bit mandatory to tip, which is not good. The spaghetti and fried chicken are very average, not recommended.

We stopped by spontaneously and were rewarded with a very positive experience. We tried three different types of spare ribs - mega! The creative deluxe version with truffles and parmesan was particularly surprising. The atmosphere is a mixture of tavern and sixties decoration and is very pleasant and relaxed. The service was also excellent - friendly, courteous and quick. Thank you!

Racist restaurant - we reserved a place for 6, arrived to find our table in the bar area which appeared to be too small for eating. I explained the problem to the waitress and asked if we could be moved to a table in the dining area, to which I was told: you can either take the table we gave you or just leave. At first I thought she was just a rude waitress. After cramped eating, we went to the checkout. Despite the poor service, we decided to tip 5 euros, only to be asked for more by another waiter in a lecturing tone. We replied that he could either take the 5 euro tip or he got nothing, to which he said, "That's why we don't like receiving guests like you," and pointed to the Chinese guests at the other table (we are Chinese too). We immediately asked what he meant by "guests like you" to which he started to get vague. There is no doubt that the staff at this restaurant is racist. We were constantly disgusted by their attitude of superiority and feeling that they were somehow superior. I will never set foot in this racist restaurant again.

Excellent! Very tasteful decor! Great service, very good service and the food was top notch! I also really liked the tip about saving rips! I'd love to come back! Went to eat spare ribs today! The meat fell off the bone perfectly, was super tender and very tasty! A real top recommendation! Will be my regular place!

Hatten Klassentreffen und zugleich hat der Wirt sein 15 jähriges Jubiläum gefeiert. DJ Musik mit old school songs . Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Augustiner und Sparerips gab's. Gemütliche Atmosphäre mit allen Altersschichten. Sogar viele Touristen. Serviceteam auch sympatisch. Wir kommen wieder.

The ribs are okay but really nothing special. The same applies to the potato salad. The service could have been friendlier and more attentive. The atmosphere is rather positive.

We came in and the innkeeper greeted us with wild statements against the Greens. Quote: "I vote for the AFD." We then went somewhere else. Would recommend this to everyone else too..

The service attitude was very bad. He spilled the beer and didn't even say sorry. He didn't respond when we asked about the meal and told us to look at it ourselves. The portion of the meal was not that good either, and the overall price did not match the quality of the meal.

To the ambience, if there is a sign that says the following: "Guys without shirts No services Girls without shirts Free Drinks" That says it all. It couldn't be more flashy. I'm surprised no woman has complained yet.

14,50 Euro für einen Salat mit Ziegenkäse ist ja schon ne Nummer. Wenn der gemischte Salat dann aus einem Eisbergsalat mit Strunk besteht und einer Scheibe Ziegenkäse wird es unverschämt. Als ich nach Brot gefragt habe hieß es Brot ist alle. Ich habe dann nach einem Burger Brötchen gefragt und mir wurde erklärt zum Salat gehört kein Brot und außerdem dürfe laut Chef selbst bei einer Suppe nur 2 Scheiben Brot dazu geben werden. Ich musste dann einen Euro extra für das Burger Brötchen bezahlen. Als der Kellner mich fragte ob ich zufrieden bin habe ich das verneint und er meinte er ist leider erst den ersten Tag da und ging. Beim bezahlen fragte er dann erneut ob ich zufrieden war also hat er nichtmal zugehört.

habe Rippchen aus der Hölle bestellt. Super scharf! Ich kann nichts essen. Bei solch einem Schärfegrad muss man Hinweise geben. Die Kellnerin sagte nichts dazu. Mund und Ohren tun nach dem Essen weh. Ich weiß aber nicht, ob das ein Einzelfall ist oder das neue Rezept. Auf den Rippchen, die ich bekommen habe, ist deutlich mehr Chilisauce als auf den Rippchen, die auf Fotos aus anderen Kommentaren zu sehen sind. Ich muss sagen, was ich heute gegessen habe, ist eine Qual. Es macht die Leute einfach krank. Ich habe noch nie einen negativen Kommentar zu Restaurants gegeben. Heute habe ich für dieses Restaurant gegeben, weil das Essen fast gesundheitsschädlich ist.

The place looks nice and is full of young people,as it is affordable for the young people's budgets. I tried spare ribs in three different flavours: BBQ, Garlic and Luxury (whatever it means) . Unfortunately, all the ribs were overcooked, with no crispiness, there was no difference in the flavour of the meat (meaning, the meat was marinated and cooked the same way). The only difference comes from additions to the meat, respectively BBQ sauce, garlic flakes, and (I guess) some cheese in the luxury version of the ribs.

Really awful service, the waitress said bad words with cold face expressions, even she complained to us she’s busy and we should bother her much. That’s so incredible. The food is nice but the service sucks. Won’t come here again
