It was beer day. Waiters were super nice and quick. Food great. Authentic and homemade. Absolutely fair price-performance ratio. Recommendation!

I recently went to Restaurant Mariannenhof and had an overall great experience! I would particularly like to highlight the waitress Yasmin, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She gave us very competent advice when choosing the dishes and recommended exactly the right thing for our taste. She also made a fantastic Limoncello Spritz – absolutely refreshing and perfectly paired! The service and atmosphere at Mariannenhof were excellent – ​​I’ll definitely be back!

The signature ribs taste good but are overrated. The serving time was extremely slow, and there was tin foil stuck to the bottom of the ribs, so I'm not sure if I even ate them. There was basically no service. I ate half a portion and was not full, so I ordered another half and waited for 40 minutes before it was served. When it was finally served, it was too late. I told them to take it away, but the clerk said you should tell me earlier, haha, and asked the customer to apologize. Then he went to pack us. The process of packing took more than 20 minutes. I urged him countless times and said it would be ready later. I thought that it would be easier to pack a bag. Finally, when I got it in my hand, I found that the packaging boxes were all hot. I guess we gave our original ones to other customers. In the end, we had to tip haha. If you provide good service and good food, I will give it willingly. Lightning protection .

3 stars for my local restaurant because it is unfortunately overrun due to the large number of Chinese tourists who have no behavior at all and are unbearably loud. Unfortunately, you can no longer have a relaxed conversation next to a group like this and you will be overlooked while the group is being served. It will be slow like the Hofbräuhaus. I ordered a half portion of pork ribs, which was very disappointing—more bone than meat, and the garlic flavor was barely noticeable. I really don’t understand why this place has so many high ratings. What upset me the most was the tipping situation. When I paid, the staff asked me to choose between a 5% or 10% tip, even though the food wasn’t good and the service wasn’t particularly special. I still gave a tip, but then the server mistakenly charged my credit card €94 instead of €48. Since I was using a foreign credit card, this error cost me extra due to exchange rates. They couldn’t fix the transaction and had to give me a cash refund, but they gave me the wrong amount at first. I had to point it out before they corrected it. And they didn’t refund the tip either. A frustrating overall experience and a waste of both money and time. Totally do not recommend this restaurant. The pork ribs had almost no meat, the seasoning was mediocre and not delicious at all. When checking out, they forcefully ask for a 5% or 10% service fee. It is recommended not to waste money eating at this restaurant, there are many better choices in Munich.

I really liked it, it was worth walking from the center to this restaurant, the prices seem reasonable to me for the quality and service, you will definitely be able to eat well here. The girl who served me was very friendly and very attentive in recommending what to eat.

Nice inn in southern Lehel with an extensive menu - from tarte flambée to burgers you can find everything. Outdoor area on two sides of the corner house, so that you can usually find a sunny spot even in the narrow old building. Service very friendly and attentive. For the price, honest cuisine, even if there is room for improvement here, which would give it the fifth star for me.

The ribs are big in portion, but not super tasty, the sauce starts to get greasy halfway through. The fish and chips were delicious. There is only one piece of toilet paper on the table. When it was time to collect the bill, the blonde waitress insisted that "tipping is required", but the menu clearly stated that "tipping is not necessary and is voluntary". (Of course you don’t need to tip if there is no special service) (Why should I tip if there is only one piece of toilet paper…)

By visiting the GOP, came across this place before. The menu offers burgers, schnitzels, tarte flambées, pasta, etc. Good selection for what's there. Great spray variants. Service was nice but should have been more attentive, it left our table too quickly. Order was not yet completed. We ordered an Aperol and Lillet Wildberry. However, there was no Lillet but a passion fruit spritz. The waitress said she had to improvise with the decoration, but a Lillet is slightly pink in color due to the addition of wildberries. Anyone can make a mistake, the spritz still tasted good, but you should stick to the truth. Food was very tasty.

The waiter’s attitude is so bad(especially that tall woman with blonde hair) bad manners, explaining nothing when we have questions about menu, just rise voice, inpatiently. The best ribs of Munich without any doubt. Half rack with a side dish can easily feed two people, and the prices are unbeatable.

The service and atmosphere were decent, but if you don’t eat pork, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. I came here on a friend’s recommendation and was informed that all the ribs were pork, so I opted for the fried veal ribs instead. However, the texture of their fried veal ribs was like breaded and deep-fried boiled chicken breast—dry, yet oddly chewy, as if I were biting into a piece of fried cardboard. On top of that, it had a lingering gamey aftertaste of beef. The seafood pasta looked vibrant with its mix of colors, but the taste was disappointingly bland. Somehow, the chef managed to completely erase both the sweet tanginess of the tomatoes and the natural umami of the shrimp. for a moment I thought it must be something wrong so I added salt and pepper in and try to save my tastebuds, rather then bring out the flavor which it should have, it tasted like salt and pepper I have no idea what kind of magic trick was used, but the result was flavorless. I strongly do not recommend these two dishes. The service and atmosphere are pretty good, but I don’t recommend this restaurant if you can’t eat pork. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend. I was told that all ribs are pork, so I ordered the veal steak. But their fried beef short ribs taste like breaded boiled chicken breast, dry but surprisingly chewy. Like eating a piece of fried cardboard. The whole dish has a slight fishy smell of beef. Although the seafood pasta looks rich in color, it tastes bland and tasteless. I don’t know what magic the chef used to eliminate the sweet and sour tomatoes and the umami flavor of the shrimp. Percentage does not recommend these two dishes. Keine Ahnung, wie das gelungen ist, aber das Ergebnis war geschmacklos. Ich rate dringend von diesen beiden Gerichten ab.

I had dinner at this restaurant today with my family. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food was very tasty. The sperribs are excellent. The service (Kapi) was very nice and accommodating. I can only recommend this restaurant.

It is not recommended to spend money to make people angry. There is a special Chinese menu, and it says on every page: Tipping is voluntary, but 5-10% is recommended. The German menu doesn't have this sentence. There was no service. I waited for a long time to pack and didn’t get the box, but I was charged a 10% tip. Best ribs I tried in Germany after living here for 3 years. I ordered a half-portion of the Knoblauch Ribs (garlic ribs) and it was very tasty. The half serving was already huge so you might one to try two flavours instead and share it with someone. Absolutely delicious! We will come back again. My partner ordered BBQ ribs and she devoured it! It was also very good. The ambience was relaxed and the service was pleasant. I am practicing my German language skills and the server was patient in understanding me, so I appreciate this very much.

We went there for dinner with the whole family (30 to 86 years old) after the GOP visit. Everyone was excited. You can get very tasty spare ribs, tarte flambée, roast pork, salads here at a fair price. There is something for everyone here. We'll definitely come back.

Great experience. Second time visiting and the ribs never disappoint. Service was nice and server was really friendly. Serving was HUGE. Half rack of ribs could easily feed two. I also ordered the Bratkartoffeln which was good for sharing as well. Will definitely be back every time I'm in Munich. Easily reserved a table online and was accommodated right away to our assigned table.

The foods are delicious, we ordered BBQ spareribs and baked potatoes with goat cheese, both are nice, especially the spareribs, which are perfectly juicy with a delightful charcoal flavor. We ate here two different times while we were staying in Munich. They were very accommodating for our large party. The service was outstanding. They had a great menu. Our favorite thing was the classic burger and fries.

Food was average , and the service was very slow , the atmosphere though was nice. When we asked for the bill the waitress only told us the amount that we have to pay without showing the bill , not very professional !

Tasteless ribs, orders not properly filled (I.e forgetting a beer), the menu options feels like a United Nations convention - a bit of everything. When the bill came , I was just told the amount with no bill whatever - my mistake . Pls watch out. Better - avoid it, you got plenty of great options nearby.

Really disappointing second experience. First time my friend and me had the ribs, they were amazing. We came in a second time tonight and my portion of ribs was really disappointing. Dry, only bones with barely any meat on them, definitely not worth 20€. We let the waiters know and at least they took them off our bill and were nice about it. However, they said that "it happens sometimes" . Maybe the food should be checked before leaving the kitchen, so the restaurant doesn't charge the costumers 20€ for a portion of bones.

The spare ribs here are incredibly good.this portion is the big one shared with two. The ribs with BBQ sauce. I’d like to try their other sauces late for sure. The atmosphere is divided two : one side bar, the other side a restaurant. the staff all speak English.they are really helpful and behave so professional. We ordered ribs with Bratkartoffeln which was a great mix. This meal costed 46€

This was my second visit to the restaurant. Me and a good friend booked the restaurant online in advance and were greeted with great hostility by the restaurant manager. He asked when the booking was made and blamed Trip Advisor as being inadequate. The restaurant was empty and instead of accommodating our booking was aggressive with his tone and made it our issue for using an online booking system. I would strongly recommend future customers avoid at all costs!! Never have I been made to feel this way in any restaurant. We left in fear he’d spit in our food. As an FC Bayern fan I frequent the city on a regular basis. But never again will I consider such an establishment!!

Der Mariannenhof ist eine charmante Kneipe, die mit entspannter Atmosphäre, herzhaftem Essen und exzellentem Bier begeistert. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das saftige Kalbsschnitzel und das Cordon Bleu, dazu ein gutes Helles. Die lockere Kneipenstimmung mit rustikalem Charme lädt zum Verweilen ein, so sehr dass ein junger Mann neben unserem Tisch stehend seinen Joint anzündete.

Unsere regelmäßige Stammtischgruppe (5 Leute) hatte neulich einen Abendtermin zum Abendessen und Beisammensein beim Bier reserviert. Aber schon bei der 1. Bestellung wurde uns von der Bedienung eröffnet, dass wir nur ca. 90 Minuten bleiben könnten, "weil dann eine größere Gruppe käme, die den Tisch braucht". Unser vereinter Protest half nichts, wir wurden nach den 1 1/2 Stunden hinaus "komplimentiert"! Trotz Reservierung! So was ist uns noch nie passiert! Nie wieder! Das Tollste: einer aus der Gruppe kam ca. 30 Min. später noch mal rein, da war der Tisch immer noch nicht besetzt! Ein unmögliches Verhalten!

The two of us hoped to sit in a slightly larger table, but the waiter seriously stated that a large table would only be assigned if we ordered enough food. However, I observed that at least a few couples were seated at tables for four, and it seemed we were the only ones asked to sit at the small table. This kind of differential treatment makes people feel very unfriendly and even discriminatory towards foreigners. The food was delicious and the portions were large enough. However, the mini table at the corner for 5 people is very narrow and uncomfortable: if you don't have any space while eating and are completely squeezed in, then that spoils the enjoyment...

Carinissimo posticino, fuori dal centro, zona Altstadt, dove l’armonia della musica, cucina bavarese e birra di incontrano. Una bella e tradizionale birreria con buon cibo, cortesia e simpatia. Consigliatissimo, anche per il rapporto qualità prezzo dei migliori!

The waitress brought us the bill early, even though we hadn't finished eating, and pushed us for a 10% tip, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, the bill only listed the total amount, without a detailed breakdown of the items ordered, which made things even more confusing. I therefore cannot recommend this restaurant. I would like to share my experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The server exhibited discriminatory behavior and was quite unfriendly. They brought us the bill before we had finished our meal and pressured us for a 10% tip, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, the receipt only showed the total amount without a breakdown of the ordered items, making it confusing. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Ribs could've been better. Maybe the cook had a bad day because the ribs them self were very succulent, but the way they were finished wasn't really appetizing. They had an extreme aftertaste from the sheet or the grill, but still, I will give them an another chance. And I definitely recommend the ribs. As a ribs fan, I was very disappointed and a bit sad.

A very hospitable pub, good service friendly staff, excellent food. I had very good ribs my partner had cheese spartzle which was reported as excellent. Of course the beer was very good. I would recommend booking as it was very busy although there were always a few tables spare.

The menu says tipping is voluntary at this restaurant. But when questioned, she said that in Germany, restaurants automatically charge a 10% tip. Her deception made us feel very uncomfortable. A 10% tip isn't much, and we would have gladly paid it if she had acted like the other waiters and waitresses when we asked for the bill.

Great ribs! The full portion is good for two to share — but that will leave you pretty full and no room for anything else. We got two beers, the full size bbq ribs, and two side fries and finished all but very full. Delicious meal and well seasoned fries.

Went to the Mariannenhof again today. I have to say Lisa and Martin really super friendly empathy full waitresses great service from the kitchen perfect food from the boss super management all around Felt comfortable honestly except for one waitress of Russian origin who constantly asked for tips from foreign guests, which was the same with us country there is no law at all. I have to say if this lady served me, I would leave the restaurant straight away. A young white female waiter asked for a tip in a sarcastic tone (seemingly only for Chinese people), turned around and left after giving it. There is no service at all, unless the forced fake smile is also a smile. The ribs are delicious, but the service makes people lose their appetite.

A fun and relaxing place to be. I was part of a party of eight which had dinner. The food was good (lots of North American options) and the seating was either indoors or out (sidewalk seating which was comfortable and protected from sun and rain). The kids loved it.

We zijn er gaan eten omdat het hoog aangeschreven stond. Het eten is prima en de bediening is inderdaad aardig en opgepakt. Wij kregen het voorgerecht tegelijk met een hoofdgerecht. Ook maakte de bediening andere vergissingen met de drankjes terwijl het niet heel druk was. Wanneer je rustig wilt eten met je kinderen (wel een goede menu kaart voor kinderen) kan dat hier prima. Maar zeker geen verborgen parel. In Altstadt zijn een hoop meer goede eetgelegenheden.

Highly recommend this place. Me and my partner came for dinner, I had the ribs & they had Bravia’s burger &it was immense. The ribs massive but so tasty and the burger was as my partner put it “best burger they have ever had” And the cocktails are exactly what you want. Not a small glass with loads of ice. You get a real cocktail In a proper glass full. Love this place!
