The Little Greek Taverna in Stuttgart

We visited the tavern today, 11.10.2025. We were in Stuttgart the same day and decided to try it. One of the best Greek restaurants I've been to in Germany. I don't understand the negative reviews about the portions. The portions were filling. Ok, for German standards, the prices are normal... in terms of quality and price. I would recommend it without a second thought. The guys at the service were very polite and quick to serve. The dishes were all delicious. There were 3 of us and we got a variety of meats for 2 people, 5 appetizers, 1 tsipouro and a beer, 3 coffees and a dessert at the end. We paid 150 euros.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can wholeheartedly recommend this Greek restaurant in Bad Cannstatt! From the very first moment, you feel welcome – the atmosphere is warm, Mediterranean, and simply comfortable. The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, without being intrusive. The food is an absolute delight: fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared, lovingly presented, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. I find it particularly impressive that each dish has its own character – you can simply taste the passion that goes into the cooking here. Whether it's classic gyro, tender souvlaki, grilled fish, or the typical meze – everything tastes authentic, like a short vacation in Greece. The portions are also generous, and the value for money is absolutely fair. The wine selection pairs perfectly with the dishes and rounds out the experience. For me, it's one of the best Greek restaurants in the Stuttgart region – everything is just perfect here: taste, service, ambiance, and warmth. A place you'll gladly return to. 🌿🇬🇷🍷

Very nice backyard and super delicious food.

Very tasty food, friendly service... which is why it's usually quite busy. It's best to make a reservation in advance! When it's busy, it sometimes takes a little longer, but the food is always worth the wait.

A warm and friendly atmosphere accompanied by Greek music

We had reserved a table and arrived a few minutes late, but our table still wasn't prepared. We then had to wait almost an hour for some appetizers, while other guests who arrived after us were already served their main courses. When the main course finally arrived, the meat was noticeably overheated and partially burnt. Furthermore, the remaining appetizers were served after the main courses, which made the experience very disappointing. Furthermore, the rice, for example, was completely unseasoned. When we asked about this, we were simply told that there was only one deep fryer. After asking several times, they simply apologized for the missing items, but they didn't want us to be the ones to suffer. Overall, the service was disorganized, the wait times were extremely long, and the quality of the food was largely disappointing. Based on our experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

The grilled sea bream is fantastic. I also highly recommend the calamari and the gyro. The waiters are friendly and competent. Some things aren't exactly cheap, just inflation. Very large, covered terrace. The interior is rather cozy.

A cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant with a lovely courtyard terrace and very friendly staff. A good selection of dishes, all of which taste delicious.

I came here for a late lunch with a friend. The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. I should add that only a handful of tables were occupied outside, so I can't say how busy it is. The two of us ordered some appetizers, some to share, and a drink each. The quality and portion size were very good and absolutely sufficient (I like to eat :)). I would go back anytime, even though, as a vegetarian, there aren't many options for me when it comes to main courses. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it.

We arrived without a reservation, were seated immediately, ordered food and drinks, and the drinks arrived very quickly, and... the food arrived incredibly quickly. The portions were half the size of a year ago, the food was delicious, the service was prompt and unobtrusive, and the house wine was excellent. The longest wait was for the bill. A significant improvement and a huge plus in terms of organization and quality.

An air-conditioned, quiet restaurant. Drinks are served in bottles. The grilled food is delicious, and the service is friendly but typically Greek, cozy and relaxed. Restrooms are limited, especially for women, but less of a problem for men. There is a separate smoking area in the restaurant, separated by a glass door.

We spontaneously stopped by the Little Greek Taverna for lunch. We sat in the courtyard, which offered a lovely Greek atmosphere. The noise level was appropriate for a taverna, and the service was friendly and prompt. The food was excellent value for money. Freshly prepared and well-seasoned, and the tzatziki was a dream. We'd love to come back next time we're in Stuttgart.

Nice Greek restaurant in Cannstatt

We were looking for a place to eat well, and this restaurant more than met our expectations. All the food was delicious, and the portions were quite generous. The service was very friendly, courteous, and quick (even though the guy was working alone). There's a large terrace where you can relax and unwind.

Well, the restaurant is very neat, the staff is friendly. Regarding the food, I have to say that the prices were normal but everything was fresh and very well cooked! The shop in question will be preferred again!

I am very sorry to say that the food was mediocre, but worst of all were the exorbitant prices for the minimal amount of dishes. The portions were so small that even a small child would not be satisfied. Before you decide to go, think twice and check the prices – they are overpriced for no real reason. Mit großem Bedauern muss ich saygen, dass das Essen nur mittelmäßig war. But the worst of all were the extremely high prices in relation to the tiny portions. Die Mengen waren so gering, dass nicht einmal ein kleines Kind satt werden würde. Überlegt es euch gut, bevor ihr hingeht, und schaut euch die Preise an – sie sind übertrieben hoch, ohne dass es dafür einen echten Grund gibt.

Great Greek restaurant in Bad Cannstatt. Parking is possible in the parking garage about 100m away. Relatively authentic for a German Greek.

Spontaneously wandered into Little Greek. Nice welcome and a table was prepared immediately. The food was really delicious and the shop was totally authentic. The staff was super accommodating. Definitely a recommendation!!!!

Average to bad food (meats are literally soaked in spices and salt to taste). The prices are at least funny. A portion of pumpkin meatballs (3 in number) €11.50. A glass of white wine €12. We paid 2 people 120 euros not worth it. When I got the bill in my hands and called the waiter to ask if there was a mistake, he told me that the wine is one of the best (Biblia Chora) and that's why the glass costs €12. My fault for not looking at the list but calm down guys. We have drunk this particular wine elsewhere and we didn't pay that much. Pure disappointment!

We had the an octopus starter and Bifteki for main course. Thought after reading the reviews, we would have a good time. In our opinion, the Bifteki was really disappointing. The oil used in it maybe made the whole dish extra salty and bad and completely ruined our appetite. The sad part is they don’t even give Saziki with the main course and we have to order them extra. Altogether it was not a great experience in our opinion and I won’t be returning back.

What else can I say when everything is perfect? Food fresh and delicious, atmosphere very pleasant and service very, very friendly. For me the best Greek restaurant far and wide. Keep it up and thank you for the fantastic taste experience.👍🏻

Had dinner with the family yesterday. The son invited his mother, sister, aunt and family members to dinner. We had fond memories of the tavern. The only point of criticism is the quick succession of the dishes. Before we had even finished the appetizer plates, a family member was served the main course. After the main courses, barely able to breathe, the dessert menu was served. It has nothing to do with comfort. You were almost "forced", it seemed, to eat as quickly as possible. The bill came promptly after no further request for espresso was made. After 1 hour and 20 minutes we were outside. I asked the lady in service if there was a time slot! She said 2 hours. If we had had a little more time, we would probably all have ordered dessert, but we were served and fed at such a pace that in the end it wasn't really a culinary experience. Too bad! It wasn't a real feel-good experience, but as I said, the food was wonderful and the service was also very quick and hard-working

We initially enjoyed the food, but the rest of our visit was a disaster. On November 30th, 2024 we were guests with a group of nine people and a small child. My aunt and I both had the dish “Calamari Misto”. Unfortunately, just a few hours after eating, we both developed massive health problems - diarrhea and vomiting. We immediately contacted the restaurant via email to alert them to the incident. But instead of taking care of the matter or at least responding, there is radio silence. Taste alone isn't enough if you end up worrying about your health - and the restaurant simply ignores complaints. The food may have been delicious, but I can't recommend anyone eating here as hygiene and responsibility don't seem to be a priority.

-Food: had fried calamari, chicken skewers and farmer's salad and home-made fries The breading of the calamari tasted very bland. Unfortunately not recommended, the price at almost €20 for the portion is totally exaggerated compared to others The chicken skewers with marinade were still very dry. The farmer's salad had grated feta, so everything tasted like feta. Capers have no place in a Greek farmhouse dalat. The feta cheese tasted sour The 'fries' are very thick, so when you bite into them the inside is still very hot, a slight burn to your taste buds The rooms were very warm and we found the air stuffy. The service was very friendly and competent, hence 2 stars. A large 0.4 Spezi for 5.60% is too expensive in my opinion. Likewise the still water. Bread isn't even served with the farmer's salad Since we have tested a lot of Greek restaurants in the Stuttgart area, I unfortunately cannot recommend this one. Neither the price performance nor the quality is right.

It was our first time here and we loved it. I had the gyro plate and it was the best gyro I've ever enjoyed outside of Greece. It was fantastic. There are good options for parking in front of the door. Reservations were easy and the weather on the terrace was a dream. The staff was friendly and quick, the food was delicious and fresh, the terrace was very nice with a flower wall. The bill was 186 euros for 4 people, not cheap but okay.

Un excelente sitio para disfrutar de comida griega en Stuttgart. La comida muy buena, sobre todo la salsa de yogurt griego es increíble. Buen servicio al cliente, rápidos y muy educados. Sin duda volvería a repetir, por la gran variedad de la carta y la buena pinta que tiene todo.

We made a spontaneous reservation there. Super courteous service. We ordered a lot of different dishes and divided them into three. Vegetarians also get their money's worth. The oyster mushrooms and feta in sesame with honey were a highlight for me. All in all great.
