Delicious food, cozy atmosphere

Unfortunately, only 1 star (less isn't possible). From today's perspective, it's unacceptable that ashtrays were suddenly placed on the tables in a fully occupied restaurant. People were still eating at their tables and food was being delivered! It's absolutely unacceptable that smoking was allowed throughout the entire establishment. There was no sign indicating "Smoking Restaurant / Smoking Room". Furthermore, the kitchen isn't equipped to handle the number of guests, so you quickly get the impression of being served in a factory setting. There are far better Greek restaurants with a better atmosphere and cuisine; in this case, even the live music couldn't salvage it. Sorry, but that's how it was and what I experienced.

Way too loud and their trash stinks of corpses... It's also almost impossible to find a parking space after 6 pm...

The food was delicious, however, only part of our order arrived at our table. Some time later, it turned out that the food had been delivered to another table. After another hour and further inquiries, we were told that the missing food had been canceled instead of being served to us. After 2.5 hours, some of us went home hungry. The staff should regularly check if everything is there and if everyone is satisfied. This didn't happen even once during our visit; otherwise, it certainly would have been noticed sooner.

I was here 3 years ago and I don't know what it's like today, but when I was there the atmosphere was really great, service was very friendly and the food definitely tasted good, of course not as good as in Greece but it was still very good, I recommend going there and I think I have to pay a visit myself.

Quick service, after two hours, you have to leave. The menu is confusing, and the calamari is overpriced at €14, a disgrace. Very tough. The shrimp are also deep-fried and dry from the freezer. Unfortunately, we felt sick all night afterward.

I was there on a Saturday and there was live music, very nice but very loud. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was excellent. I'd love to come back.

Great restaurant, authentic Greek cuisine, and very, very tasty. The concept of sharing many dishes is great, and so far everything has been delicious. You should make a reservation, especially on weekends, but it's quick to do via the website. The food comes quickly and, as I said, is excellent. I love going there.

We ordered the "Eat like a Greek" as we've already done lots of times in the past, where they bring a whole menu to 2 people. But not only the portions came smaller but no salad or fresh vegetables, only fried and heavier food. They tasted good, but there was definitely some lack of balance in comparison with previous menus we had in the past. On our way out we decided to give our feedback to a lady who we assumed be the manager, because it is a restaurant we used to like a lot, but unfortunately we were treated very rude, she didn't seem like taking the feedback in a good way. A sad experience.

We had a cozy and delicious dinner. The food was delicious and we thought it was good value for money. We received polite and prompt service. We will definitely visit this restaurant again, but on the Saturday we were there during the week, it was too crowded. It was a bit noisy, but that was due to the human factor, not the owner.

As a side dish, we ordered the "Meze Bread"/small loaf of bread. Although it came straight out of the oven and was piping hot, the bread became rock-hard after cooling and couldn't even be cut into small pieces. It seemed to me as if it had been frozen after being baked previously and then reheated. The very friendly service staff passed on my dissatisfaction, but that was it: no fresh bread or a discount... the bill was €5 for bread that was inedible to us. We had already been to Taverna Meze Meze several times and enjoyed it very much, but now the restaurant has unfortunately lost customers.

Unfortunately, it was very loud. The food was good and plentiful. The fish platter for four wasn't bad for my first visit. Next time, I'd order more individual dishes instead of the fish platter for four. There's a lot of fried food on the fish platter, and the fried potatoes are soggy underneath. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Let's start with the bread...hard as a rock, warmed up a bit in the microwave 🙆‍♀️. The food...could be much better. I don't want to say anything more. The service...unfriendly. Well...Never again. Good luck, though.

We were mostly satisfied with our main courses. Unfortunately, the dessert and the bill were more than meager. The desserts (3 different ones) were inedible – it was the worst dessert we've ever had. We reported this. We were also charged for three dishes on the bill that we hadn't ordered. After complaining, we were refunded and apologized… In general, the service seemed stressed and not very hospitable. These negative experiences unfortunately overshadowed what should have been a lovely evening. However, we will remember the evening for a long time… ;-)

Great starters and fantastic dishes...everything tasted delicious...the tables were very close together and it was very loud that day; you almost had to shout to hear your partner...so maybe it's better not to go on the weekend...but we still love eating there...be sure to reserve a table in advance.

On December 20, 2019, our small Christmas party was a complete success. The atmosphere, food, people, and staff were truly fantastic and highly recommended... Addendum: A few years later, four of us went there for dinner on a Saturday evening. The staff were very dismissive, and after two hours, we were asked to pay because the tables were double-booked... completely unacceptable...

It could be a great restaurant. The ambiance is really nice, but unfortunately, the food is massively overpriced for the quality. The menu is confusing, and you have to put together your own dishes. The service is mediocre, and the food is tasteless. To top it all off, you couldn't even pay separately, as they charge per table. Once and never again!!!!!

If you make a reservation for two hours and spend over €250, and after an hour and a half you're asked if you can pay slowly because the next guests are waiting, this is the right place for you. Absolutely not. If you like it...

Unfortunately our fries came first and then about 8 minutes later the rest of the food we ordered arrived. The pan with the pork was too hard to bite into. My daughter's pork skewer had a lot of fatty meat. My meatball with cheese was delicious as were the homemade fries.

We tried the restaurant on recommendation, but were unfortunately somewhat disappointed. The reception was attentive but seemed stressed, and the adjoining room we were shown to was a bit overcrowded, making both the noise and the atmosphere unpleasant. The menu offers a wide selection, but the food was rather modest in taste and fell short of expectations—especially considering the price. The service was businesslike and efficient, but not particularly cordial; there was no small talk or sense of genuine hospitality. Overall, an average impression that didn't live up to the advance praise and wouldn't motivate us to return.

Ich komme gerne hier hin, doch das Essen war schon um einiges besser als Dieses mal. Der Salat war lieblos und ich würde fast sagen das nächste mal schmeißt ihr die Gurke sowie die Tomaten am Stück auf den Teller denn dann kann jeder Gast sich das selbst zurecht schneiden, was man ja auch muss um Mundgerechte Stücke zu bekommen. Gebt euch doch etwas mehr Mühe damit das ESSEN wieder wie früher schmeckt ! Natürlich jeder Koch hat auch mal ein schlechter Tag aber wenn mit liebe gekocht wird schmeckt es gleich viel viel besser.

The service is super friendly, attentive, and fast – you feel completely at home. I especially like that you can order smaller portions and try so many different, delicious dishes. Perfect for those who can't decide! The prices are absolutely fair, and the food is incredibly delicious – authentically Greek, freshly prepared, and served with lots of love. This place gives you that real Greek feeling. I'll definitely be back!

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, so I gathered my colleagues and reserved a table at Meze Meze. I'll keep it short... ... the food was delicious, but the service was terrible. The food didn't arrive at the same time; some had already finished, while others were still waiting for their food. What I didn't understand at all was that we weren't allowed to pay separately; everything went on one bill. As I mentioned, I was with my colleagues, not with my family.

Service was not the greatest. Ordered bread but they forgot to bring it. Food orders are taken randomly and not necessarily în the order that people arrive. Food is brought randomly (waited around 10-15 minutes between my dish and my friend’s dish). Sloppy service. Relatively ok food. Recommendations: - better train your waiters to address the above issues. - better train your kitchen staff to better synchronise the dish preparation (bring the food in the same time)

Personally, I don't understand the hype. We had a total of eight different dishes, and unfortunately, everything was very bland. For example, I would have expected the sweeter note from the feta with figs. The price-performance ratio here is completely out of my league. The location itself is easy to reach and beautiful!

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Meze Meze restaurant and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The selection of dishes designed to be shared ensures that you can sample your way through many different flavors, making the entire meal an even more immersive experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - you immediately feel welcome. I would particularly like to highlight the fried zucchini, which was the absolute highlight of the evening for me. They were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside, simply delicious! The portions are also generous, so you really feel full, and at a fair price. It is clear that you get something here not only for the taste, but also for the price-performance ratio. For all the great dishes and the quality of the food, I think the prices are absolutely justified. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely come back!

My family and I wanted to go to Meze Meze in Bad Cannstatt again after a long time - we had planned the visit as a nice Easter meal. Unfortunately, this day was anything but pleasant... We initially decided to sit outside at the tavern. When other guests started smoking at the neighboring table (we are non-smokers), we kindly asked the employee at the entrance if we could change seats. The reaction was rude: We had decided to go outside and that there would be smoking outside - period. We were only able to move inside after we asked again, but we were given a seat directly at the open entrance door, where there was a noticeable draft. When we asked to sit at another free table, this was refused - even though the other (!!) free tables were only reserved 1.5 hours later. Shortly afterwards, a waitress came to our table without being asked and asked, annoyed, what our problem was. When we calmly explained that there was a draft and we would like to change seats, she slammed the door with noticeable annoyance - loudly and unpleasantly. She later claimed it was “the wind.” We didn't feel taken seriously and, above all, we didn't feel welcome! During the entire stay, no waiter came to us to ask about the food or any other requests. We also waited 20 minutes when paying because no one seemed to feel responsible. Then the next shock: When paying, we asked for the bill - instead we were just given a cell phone on which we were supposed to check the items ourselves. In the overview we found several items that we had never ordered or received - almost €30 too much! We did not receive a printed invoice after expressly requesting it. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the hospitality left something to be desired in all areas. The food was okay, but given the atmosphere and the way guests were treated, it's hard to have positive memories of the visit. The competition in Bad Cannstatt is great - and makes it much better...It was definitely the last visit for us..

Tolle Atmosphäre, super Essen, klasse Bedienung. Wir waren 9 Personen und kommen bestimmt wieder. Ouzo aufs Haus gerne auch mit Eis;))

Allein die Einrichtung fand ich schon toll - nicht die klassische Tempel und Amphoren- Deko, sondern alte Türen und Fenster - ebenso authentisch, aber ein origineller neuer Ansatz. Überraschend ist das Konzept, nicht komplette Gerichte, sondern im Tapas-Stil anzubieten. Wenn man zu mehreren isst, kann man so prima von den anderen naschen. Ich fand das Essen auch lecker, besonders die Paprika/Tomaten/Fetacreme.

There were ten of us there and we ordered the starters from the menu. Everything was very tasty. It was too loud for us to entertain. We were there on a Friday, there was a band playing next door (not very good) and we could hardly communicate across the table, everyone sitting at the table felt the same way. It was clearly too loud for us.
