Great food and the service was very friendly! However, the cheesecake dessert wasn't what you'd expect...it was a surprise.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Meze Meze restaurant and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The selection of dishes designed to be shared ensures that you can sample your way through many different flavors, making the entire meal an even more immersive experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - you immediately feel welcome. I would particularly like to highlight the fried zucchini, which was the absolute highlight of the evening for me. They were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside, simply delicious! The portions are also generous, so you really feel full, and at a fair price. It is clear that you get something here not only for the taste, but also for the price-performance ratio. For all the great dishes and the quality of the food, I think the prices are absolutely justified. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely come back!

My family and I wanted to go to Meze Meze in Bad Cannstatt again after a long time - we had planned the visit as a nice Easter meal. Unfortunately, this day was anything but pleasant... We initially decided to sit outside at the tavern. When other guests started smoking at the neighboring table (we are non-smokers), we kindly asked the employee at the entrance if we could change seats. The reaction was rude: We had decided to go outside and that there would be smoking outside - period. We were only able to move inside after we asked again, but we were given a seat directly at the open entrance door, where there was a noticeable draft. When we asked to sit at another free table, this was refused - even though the other (!!) free tables were only reserved 1.5 hours later. Shortly afterwards, a waitress came to our table without being asked and asked, annoyed, what our problem was. When we calmly explained that there was a draft and we would like to change seats, she slammed the door with noticeable annoyance - loudly and unpleasantly. She later claimed it was “the wind.” We didn't feel taken seriously and, above all, we didn't feel welcome! During the entire stay, no waiter came to us to ask about the food or any other requests. We also waited 20 minutes when paying because no one seemed to feel responsible. Then the next shock: When paying, we asked for the bill - instead we were just given a cell phone on which we were supposed to check the items ourselves. In the overview we found several items that we had never ordered or received - almost €30 too much! We did not receive a printed invoice after expressly requesting it. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the hospitality left something to be desired in all areas. The food was okay, but given the atmosphere and the way guests were treated, it's hard to have positive memories of the visit. The competition in Bad Cannstatt is great - and makes it much better...It was definitely the last visit for us..

The food was really tasty, freshly prepared and pleasantly light - not greasy at all, which I thought was great. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Clear recommendation!

Delicious home cooking. For me, it's quite expensive, but the quality is more in line with the catering industry. Overall, you can tell that the whole thing is a well thought-out money machine. Handling is quick. Sit down, drink, eat and leave again. Everything is served very quickly. Overall, I would go again. Important: smoking is allowed in the back area from 9 p.m. If it bothers you, it's better to make a reservation in front.

Allein die Einrichtung fand ich schon toll - nicht die klassische Tempel und Amphoren- Deko, sondern alte Türen und Fenster - ebenso authentisch, aber ein origineller neuer Ansatz. Überraschend ist das Konzept, nicht komplette Gerichte, sondern im Tapas-Stil anzubieten. Wenn man zu mehreren isst, kann man so prima von den anderen naschen. Ich fand das Essen auch lecker, besonders die Paprika/Tomaten/Fetacreme.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and a varied menu. The dishes are attractively presented and taste good. However, I find the prices a bit excessive. I would have liked better value for money for what is offered. Nevertheless, it's a solid place to eat if you're willing to spend a little more.

Absolutely not recommended not because the food is not good!!! but because the behavior of the inspector (woman) at the entrance was selfish and greedy for power.

There were ten of us there and we ordered the starters from the menu. Everything was very tasty. It was too loud for us to entertain. We were there on a Friday, there was a band playing next door (not very good) and we could hardly communicate across the table, everyone sitting at the table felt the same way. It was clearly too loud for us.

Certainly one of the very best Greek restaurants in Stuttgart. The food is extremely delicious and actually tastes like it does in Greece. The selection is huge. The principle that you don't order complete dishes here, but rather everything individually, seems a bit confusing at first. But by the second visit you'll get the hang of it and resist the temptation to order way too much. The individual portions are quite large. This way you have a better handle on the bill, because the fun isn't cheap, but it's worth every cent. It's best to go in a small or larger group and order one or two of the many delicacies. And then everyone helps themselves to everything and everyone. This way it tastes so good and is fun. Besides, the ambience is also great. Like in a Greek tavern, but without the kitsch. One tiny point of criticism is that not every waitress speaks German very well and this can sometimes lead to misunderstandings when ordering. But it's not so bad. Always very crowded. Reservation recommended. Simply great!

Memories of holidays in Greece come to mind in the tavern. Beautifully decorated rooms. It can get a little louder. We love the starters, tried a few and will definitely order the fried anchovies and zucchini balls from Thassos again next time! The service is courteous, friendly and fast. Efcharistó!

good Greek restaurant. Unfortunately overhyped. The pita bread was too dry and just showered with oil and oregano. The meat (souvlaki) was very dry. However, the fried fish was very tasty. There was no ouzo as usual with Greeks.

We discovered the Meze Meze Restaurant by chance when we were looking for a restaurant in Stuttgart. Although we came on a Friday evening without a reservation and the restaurant was already full, a seat was quickly found for us. The Greek dishes were really delicious, and we especially loved the olive oil. If you like Greek or Mediterranean cuisine, I can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Yes, it's a clean shop but it's expensive and the meat was dry and a normal green grill pepper is 4.5 euros and it's expensive

Terrible service, first we had to stand in the cold for 10 minutes "we won't open for 10 minutes" - they could have just asked us in. After 15 minutes the drink order was finally taken. We were only allowed to order food “when the drinks were there”. When the drinks came, we said that we had hungry children and would like to place the food order. This must have “offended” the service staff so much that all the other tables were now allowed to place their food orders. We actually wanted to get up and leave, but as I said, the kids were hungry. Then, 30 minutes after entering the restaurant, the service person came to take the order. At this point at the latest I couldn't help but comment that we had been waiting for 30 minutes and had given the friendly hint that we would order quickly because of the children. This was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Luckily the food came quite quickly. It was ok - nothing outstanding. Oh yes, I ordered something else. Then it didn't come anymore (or didn't want to be brought anymore?). Then they wanted to pay. The service person asked if “everything was okay?” Seriously?! Repetition and recommendation excluded.

We went to Meze Meze for dinner with friends for the first time. The food is not of any particular taste or quality. And quite expensive, value for money is zero. We know much better Greeks. The dessert is a disgrace, you get some artificial ready-made desserts in plastic cups (e.g. cheesecake). That doesn't work in a restaurant. And also charge €6.90 for it. The farmer's salad was the worst Greek farmer's salad we have ever eaten and that is actually no art. The service was slow, inattentive and arrogant. For example, the entire table was cleared while one person was still eating. Or the cellar really rudely slammed the order man on the table while paying, so that the price was somehow deleted. And then the waiter was initially “too lazy” to fix it and we had to pay in cash without really seeing a price. Everything was sorted out, but the way things were done wasn't good. Loud live music from the next room, making it sometimes difficult to have a conversation. And despite the fact that the prices are quite high, you don't even get an ouzo on the house, which is usually part of the Greek experience. Conclusion: We didn't like it and since there were several negative factors, we probably won't visit the restaurant again. We know much better Greek restaurants

Today we had a table to eat as a family and it was the worst we have eaten in many years... calamari, pure hopelessness, arugula salad only had no arugula... the service every 5 minutes to collect to empty the table... we wanted fried without mushrooms and it was not possible, mercy.... in general everything was bad.... sorry but it's good to fix them

It was our first time here and inexperienced. It's something different than normal. There are lots of small dishes but everything is delicious. ATTENTION don't overdo it...it's easy to overestimate yourself, but don't worry, you can pack up the leftovers. I can recommend it and the more you are there, the more different dishes you can try. Please reserve online.

I was truly disappointed after visiting this restaurant. It was my first time there, and I wasn’t familiar with their concept. I ordered an octopus salad, expecting a hearty and well-balanced dish. However, what I received were just a few pieces of octopus and some green onion.When I expressed my disappointment to the waiter, he simply explained that this is the “special concept” of their establishment. Unfortunately, this explanation didn’t make up for my unsatisfactory experience.

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't quite meet our expectations. It was recommended to me by a colleague who called it one of the best Greeks. We therefore had high expectations and reserved a table. The reception was friendly and we were shown into a large hall. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but for my taste the room seemed a bit overloaded with tables, which made the noise sometimes unpleasant. The menu offers a wide variety and we ordered a lot to get a good impression. The food wasn't bad, but for the price and the hype surrounding it, we were hoping for more. For me it's more of an average Greek restaurant and not necessarily better than other restaurants of this type. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right for me. The wait times were fine and the staff were very friendly and attentive - there's nothing to complain about here. Nevertheless, based on the points mentioned, it will probably remain just this one visit.

Went there for dinner last week. The food was okay, not bad, but it was also better there. But everything is ok. When I paid, the bill came to €90. I told the waiter that it would be €92. I didn't really want to tip more because I didn't think it was appropriate given the level of service and friendliness. He then asked if it was really €92 that I wanted to pay, I said yes twice. Today the surprise was that €100 was debited from me, I saw it on my account. I hope it was just a mistake and not intentional on the part of the waiter, even though he checked with me twice. Addendum. Meze Meze wrote to me asking me to please get in touch to clarify it. I also called them, but unfortunately the woman on the phone had absolutely no interest in taking care of it. I was rather annoyed and said there was nothing more I could do about it. Absolute impudence. Then why did you want to talk to me?

Went back to Meze Meze for New Year's Eve after a long time. Unfortunately, the service used to be extremely poor. When we arrived we were initially ignored, even though staff kept walking past us. The tables were so close together that the backs of our chairs were already touching the backs of the other guests at the back. Staff was unfriendly and not interested in sales. Nobody asked for drinks anymore. Even when you were cashing out, you no longer asked if everything was okay, but instead just slammed down the card machine in silence. Luckily, the food was still great. But we won't be coming back for the time being, as service is part of it for us when we go out to eat.

The food is amazing!! I haven't been a fan of Greek cuisine since then because I'm a vegetarian, but there are very tasty dishes here and a large selection for vegetarians too! I can only recommend it.

Nice restaurant in Bad Cannstatt. Unfortunately a difficult parking situation, that would be important to know. The ambience is nice, you really feel like you are in Greece. Sometimes the kitchen takes quite a long time until the food comes. Often a lot of things happen at once, which I think is a shame. Unfortunately it is also quite loud when the restaurant is busy. All in all, it's still worth a visit if you want to enjoy good Greek meze in larger company!

Been there for the first time and was so incredibly positively surprised! The service was terrific. We placed our order and after 2 minutes everything was on the table! (Except for the meat, which took a while, but we didn't find that to be a problem). The food was so incredibly delicious, we really felt like we were in Greece 🇬🇷✨🙏🏽 Prices are higher than at other “mezé places”, but you can treat yourself if you want to eat for meze and have quality on the table 😊 so we have a total of 75 for what you see in the picture Have to pay € (Incl. 2 glasses of white wine + bottle of water).

A slightly different restaurant than usual. A meal here consists of 3-4 different dishes, which you can either put together individually or let the restaurant surprise you. It is also normal for the dishes to be shared among each other, so the variety can be increased even further. About half of the menu consists of vegetarian dishes. So highly recommended for that too. We would also receive care very attentively and incredibly quickly. For the food you should expect prices per person between 30-40€ + drinks. A thoroughly positive experience for me.

A visit is worth it. If you love just ordering lots of small plates and trying everything, you'll get your money's worth. This means you are constantly discovering new, delicious things and can feast together. The waitresses are very friendly and the selection is very large.

Super delicious food, although we (as a large group) didn't receive some orders at all. In the end I was simply deducted €10 too much tip. Unfortunately, that's almost an impertinence. This certainly wasn't intentional, but it's still really annoying and shouldn't happen. Otherwise everything is great!

Dies war unser zweiter Besuch im Mèze Mèze, aber leider hat der Abend diesmal einige Wünsche offen gelassen. Schon die Reservierung gestaltete sich schwierig – über die Website war es nicht möglich, und telefonisch erreichten wir niemanden, sodass wir letztendlich per E-Mail reservierten. Bei unserer Ankunft mussten wir zunächst ein paar Minuten warten, bis uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde. Obwohl die Inhaberin und mindestens sechs Angestellte im Raum anwesend waren, die Tische zurecht rückten oder vorbeigingen, wurden wir längere Zeit nicht beachtet. Sobald wir Platz genommen hatten, lief der Service jedoch reibungslos. Unsere Bedienung war freundlich und kompetent, und die bestellten Speisen kamen schnell an den Tisch. Leider entsprach die Qualität der nicht ganz den Erwartungen, insbesondere im Verhältnis zum Preisniveau. Der Bauernsalat war viel zu stark gekühlt, und die Kalamata-Oliven darauf schmeckten verdorben. Die frittierten Calamari waren in Ordnung, hätten jedoch etwas Salz vertragen können. Die Garnelen mit Knoblauch waren kaum gewürzt, und von der versprochenen Knoblauchsauce war nichts zu sehen. Die Lammkrone wurde auf den Punkt gegart, jedoch fehlten auch hier die Gewürze, was das Geschmackserlebnis neutral und eher fade machte. Insgesamt haben wir ein gehobenes Geschmackserlebnis erwartet, das jedoch nicht erfüllt wurde. Für das Preisniveau hätten wir deutlich mehr Raffinesse und Liebe zum Detail in der Würzung erwartet.

The food was good, the service was friendly, but in my opinion too hectic, overall too loud for a conversation with friends - a shame. The variety of dishes came to the table in a somewhat uncoordinated manner. We'll be back, but with fewer people😊

We enjoyed going here for a very long time. The food is delicious and it's fun to try lots of different small dishes. Despite the large selection, we quickly reach our limits when it comes to finding something that appeals to us and is different from the other dishes. It's a shame that there was a change in pricing policy last year - the small dessert as a gift was also canceled. We always thought that was a very nice ending. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in every room is very loud and narrow - we particularly avoid the first room. It's okay in the back rooms, but you're still happy to get some fresh air again after eating. If the prices were reasonable again, we would come back. Unfortunately not like that. All the best!

We had reserved a table at 7:00 p.m., at 8:50 p.m. (we hadn't finished eating yet) we were asked to leave the restaurant because the table was being reoccupied. When we made the reservation, we were not told that we only had a limited space. This annoyed us so much that we will definitely not visit this restaurant again!

Very tasty Greek food, nice restaurant and above all super fast service. One point deducted for the wine, which wasn't particularly convincing and that you had the feeling that you couldn't sit comfortably and that the staff would like to call it a day.

The first impression of the restaurant was very good. You could feel the Greek flair inside and outside. Menu is similar to a "tapas" menu where you choose different things. We ordered a total of 9 things. After everything was there, we started eating to determine the quality wasn't right. The lamb souflaki was not of high quality. Very fatty and only streaked with tendons. The feta in puff pastry with sweet fig was not good at all. The sweet fig was made of sugar?! And the puff pastry was really bad. In addition, the shrimp in tomato sauce with feta wasn't worth the price. Tomatoes chopped like they were in a can and the prawns pre-made and simply thrown in (the ones you can buy in the store for 3 euros). The dips and bread were positive. However, the meatballs just weren't tasty either. Anyone who has ever really learned Greek, e.g. Anyone who has eaten in Greece will notice that worlds collide here. When we said the quality of the meat and everything else didn't suit us, the waiter just said: "yes, we can't influence that". In the end we waited over 20 minutes to be cashed in and despite complaining that we didn't like the food, there was no one to come forward. Neither an Uzo or anything taken off the bill. In the end it was €82. With that money I would have received much better quality and hospitality elsewhere.
