The food is ok depending on the dish. However, prices are expensive compared to other Greek restaurants. The portions are large and sufficient. What is extremely negative, however, is the service. The waiters are unfriendly and unreliable. In our case, several dishes were either completely forgotten or mixed up; when we pointed this out, we were greeted with extremely rude comments. It's a shame because the atmosphere looked promising.

Delicious food and extremely friendly service, extensive lunch menu

Spontaneous decision to eat here on our weekend trip. We weren't disappointed. Beautiful ambience, a friendly welcome, very attentive service and excellent food with an absolutely fair price-performance ratio. There is also a nice selection of really good Greek wines. Here you feel like a guest from the first moment, thank you for a great evening. And even though the entire staff is very courteous and friendly, special praise goes to Stratos! Sympathetic, funny, incredibly attentive, simply great! We will definitely come back when we are in Stuttgart again!

It would be great if online reservations were switched off during company holidays or at least the period was blocked. I made a reservation for a large group this evening and just by chance saw a review here that said the restaurant was currently on vacation. A pity ...

On March 29th, 2024 a table was reserved for April 19th, 2024, so there was a lead time of 3 weeks. The reservation was confirmed and even reminded again the day before. When we arrived at the reserved time, we found a note saying that from April 9th. until 6.5. are company holidays. They were unable to inform us about this and cancel the reservation. Anyone who does not confirm reservations reliably will definitely not see us as guests again.

We had a reservation with 9 people for Friday April 13th, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. 2 days before we received an email from the restaurant confirming it. So far so good... but when we got there the restaurant was closed from April 9th ​​to April 15th, 2024. Continue to have a good night's sleep... or scold the provider of your reservation page.

We would have liked to give the Achillion a chance, we had reserved for several people 2 weeks in advance and received 2 confirmations. Get there and it's closed. It's incomprehensible that you don't check whether there are ongoing reservations before closing for a month.

We reserved a table for several people via the website. A confirmation came after a few days and another reminder about the reservation the day before. On the evening of the reservation there was a nasty surprise when the restaurant was closed due to company holidays. Of course it is clear that the reservation is made via an automatic system but I think it is not too much to ask to take appropriate precautions.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. Had ordered. It was promised that the food would be there within an hour. After 40 minutes of waiting it was suddenly canceled. Not only did I lose 70 euros, but I'm sitting at home hungry. Nobody can be reached by phone. The whole thing is very strange.

Can't recommend!! Restaurant was reserved for a larger group. The confirmation was confirmed twice. The location was closed on the date in question. Reason company outing???? That's no service. I can only advise against everyone! Never again!

Good Greek restaurant with very fast service.

We ordered the beef fillet and the salmon fillet. both tasted good. The fillet was still too raw for medium well. The chairs in the restaurant are very comfortable. There are some spelling errors in the menu. I would consider the restaurant for another visit.

Guided by the good reviews and looking for a good Greek restaurant, I reserved a few tables online at the Achillion restaurant for a birthday. When the day came, our reservation could no longer be found. However, that wasn't a problem. We were in the restaurant shortly after it opened at lunchtime and got seats in the back area. The restaurant is nicely decorated. It's a good mix of old-fashioned and modern. There are lots of pictures hanging on the walls, where you can always discover something. Everything is clean and tidy, including the toilets. As a starter for everyone we had the cold starter variation and the warm starter variation. There was also delicious bread. The starters themselves were very different. From feta in filo dough with honey to seafood, everything was there. A lot of things didn't convince me in terms of taste. A few spreads were solid, but otherwise many of us were disappointed. We had many different dishes. I can't get them all together. Here are a few and how they arrived. Among other things, there was stuffed eggplant. Unfortunately we didn't finish eating them because they weren't convincing. One of us also had the penne with chicken breast, which was delicious. There were also pork skewers with fries. The skewers were okay, while the fries were unfortunately not good at all. I had the lamb chops with oven-roasted vegetables. The vegetables were acceptable, but the chops were tasty. In summary, we found the food to be solid on average, but none of us were thrilled. The employees were always friendly and always checked to see if we were okay and whether we needed anything else. Special requests, such as a dessert plate and a fork for the cake we brought with us, were also no problem. We ended up really paying a lot. Around 35 euros per person, for which several people can eat well. We were able to try out a lot of things, but we weren't convinced. There's not much to complain about about the restaurant or the staff, but there's definitely still room for improvement. I can't understand the good reviews.

Unfortunately, our anticipation of an evening of Greek food in the Achillion restaurant in Stuttgart ended in great disappointment The staff seemed stressed and in a bad mood, we were hardly noticed when we entered and while we were ordering the waiter seemed impatient and uninterested. This disrespect continued throughout our entire visit. This became too much for us and we paid and left abruptly. We had never experienced anything like this before. As a Greek I am ashamed of the lack of hospitality and poor service at Achillion restaurant. Although the food was okay, it clearly lacked authenticity. It also lacked the warm welcome you would expect from a Greek restaurant. Overall, I cannot recommend the Achillion restaurant in Stuttgart. If you are looking for a real taste of Greece, where you feel at home and the food and service leave you with a good feeling and experience, you should look elsewhere. Good service and a welcoming atmosphere are crucial to a successful restaurant experience, and that was completely missing here. I will never eat there again and will not recommend it. As a Greek, it was a complete disappointment, especially since I was there with friends and warmly appreciated the Greek cuisine Conclusion: A visit to a restaurant should be a pleasant experience that you look back on with joy. This was not the case here.

We had to wait a long time until our table was wiped clean of the leftovers from the guests in front of it. The food was not seasoned well. Bread with the salad was only available upon request. Cutlery for the children was forgotten, so we had to ask first. Overall disappointing.

A good restaurant with delicious Greek food. The ambience is very nice. The food was delicious. Ordered the Artemis plate. The meat was quite good. However, the turkey was very dry and the gyros a bit salty. The table also wobbled. But all in all good. Ouzo on the house.

At its finest, everything fits here. Plus everything was super tasty and at normal prices and there was hardly a long wait. Very honest boss. Will definitely come back 👍👍👍😊

Super nice restaurant (facility) The gentleman who served us was a bit strict with his looks at first, but then he thawed out, as did we 😂😂 But he was profile right from the start in how he served us and until the end. Thanks for that 👍 I pointed out to him that I had an allergy and he made sure my dish didn't really have anything on it. This was the first restaurant where the condition became independent. Thank you very much 🥰 I have nothing but high praise for the food and from what our friends have heard, I'm not alone. Stylish. Cozy. Very nice team. I like Greek food but tonight was delicious. Gladly again.

As a starter I had the Taramas, the Taramas was beautifully presented and very tasty, the side salad for the main course was very oily and hardly any vinegar, the main course (gyros baked in metaxa sauce with cheese) wasn't that great, it was only lukewarm. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but it is very loud, which could have been because it was a Saturday evening and was busy.

The service is unacceptable... As if we weren't in the store... Only the Germans were working above them.. The waiter never brought us the second drinks... We asked for a bill soon after and again waited... Unacceptable... Especially the one waiter rude... From beginning... He didn't explain the menu... And it was with a style... You are delaying us from other customers...

Tasty and fast service. Here you get the classic Greek dishes that you would expect from a Greek restaurant. However, there are no surprising recipes.

Very nice and large restaurant. We got our food quickly and it tasted excellent. The meat was very good. At first the food looked very little, for 2 people. But that was exactly what happened and we were well fed. See you next time.

Das war hier bisweilen ein super Restaurant. Klar, die MwSt wurde erhöht und der Betreiber muss reagieren. Kein Problem damit. Nur wenn sich die Portionsgrößen dann halbieren frage ich mich was das soll. Die Hauptspeise wird mengenmäßig zur Vorspeisen, ein Witz. Dann nehmt lieber noch zwei Euro mehr und kehrte zu alter Größe zurück. Wenigstens der Geschmack ist unverändert gut

The two of us ate there on Saturday evening and got a table without a reservation, but in the passage between the two rooms. A bowl of bread was immediately served, but without olive oil or anything like that. What should you do with that? For dinner we ordered the warm starter platter and the Faros platter for two - everything tasted great. The house wine was okay, but it's only available in a 0.2 liter glass and not in a carafe. Why not? We also often felt overlooked and while the service was on point, we missed the occasional smile or even Greek hospitality. Sure, there was a lot going on, but the bottom line is that everything took a little too long.

Disappointing experience. The service wasn’t good, we had to constantly ask after our orders and basic things which you normally get as part of the dining experience (no bread, no salad, no ouzo, didn’t receive the our tzatziki or espresso). When we told our waiter that we were disappointed with the dining experience, he had no reaction. The restaurant was definitely.understaffed.

It is not the best we have tried, the prices in the area are high and the portions are small.

We visited the restaurant with 2 of my friends. The waiter first tried to sell us a bottle of wine, even though only one of us spoke about getting a glass. And he was just persuing the sell without letting me think of it or say anything. When I asked about the wine menu he tried to avoid it. After I told him several times that I want to see the wine menu, he finally brought it. He informed me, that the wine he was suggesting us was worth it of 30 euros. One not so cheap wine to be honest. After we decided to do not get a bottle he took our orders a bit displeased. I ordered the beef filett ( ordered medium) with thyme sauce potatos and grill veggies with salad which I upgraded for a Greek salad. Total cost 34 euros. As appetisers we got some things for my friends that I could try due to gluten intolerance. So I can't say anything. But we order the Feta in the oven with tomato and peppers. I sweat to God when they Brough it on the table I thought it was a joke. One slice of Feta, with 2 pieces of cherry tomato. 2 pieces of peperoni pepper and some olive slices.. Taste wise was good, was money worth it? Definitely not. In one point the waiter points my friend and says, quite rude in my opinion, "you have been here before" and he does the same while pointing at me. And all this while addressing us "causally" with "du" something that I find really disrespectful as a costumer. My disappointment continues when my food arrived. 2 thin layers, cause you can't call these pieces whey where literally thinner than my picky finger, of meat (max 100gr both combined) . 1 potato cut in half. 5 pieces of pepper and half(!?) Cherry tomato. Some brown sauce on top and thats all. First I eat try the meat, dry with no flavour and nothing close to medium grilled. The sauce was definitely not Thyme sauce. Probably just a regular brown sauce which brings me to my later problem. The potato was at least a day or 2 old and just preheated which gave it a weird texture and taste. I mean if I wanted to eat 3 days old potatoes I would just stayed home. Not paying a ton of money for it After we were done and we asked for the bill another waiter came, I guess he was trying to be "funny" but when my friend asked to pay some specific dishes that we order, he was standing next to her and leaning on the table. He just put the phone-like Maschine and saying loudly and multiple times to her " just press it" JUST PRESS IT " as if is her job to add the things in her bill. We said goodbye and ready to leave we heard some comments about our appearance, apparently they were trying to be flirty just for fun by they end up being disgusting. And even though this evening wasn't bad enough, I realised that even though in the menu was not mention, my food was with gluten in it, probably the brown sauce. So I spent the next 3 days, being in pain and bloated and having even trouble sleeping and eating. Which led me to loose a day of my work. So for me, this restaurant is a no go. Even though when I visited few years ago the service and food were decent. This time is HUGE disappointment.

Das ganze Team ist sehr freundlich,cool drauf, immer witzig das macht so Spass bei Ihnen mit dieser hervorragende Stimmung einen Tollen Abend und sehr leckeren Essen zu verbringen. Ich fahre zwei mal im Monat ( manchmal auch drei 🫣) aus Zürich für so ein köstliches Essen bei Achillion, es LOHNT SICH!💯

Die Vorspeise & Ambiente war wirklich super. Sehr lecker & richtig gemütlich. Der Hauptgang (Gyros in Metaxa soße mit Reis & Salat) war leider nicht das, was wir erwartet haben. Die Metaxasoße war eine Tomatenrahmsoße & der (lauwarme) Reis war ein tomatisierter Reis. Der Salat ist in Öl geschwommen. Wir haben recht lange auf alles gewartet, waren aber auch an einem Freitag um 18:45 Uhr da, daher ist das absolut legitim. Servicekräfte waren sehr reserviert & nicht zuvorkommend oder freundlich.

Leider kennt die Bedienung nicht die Zusammensetzung eines griechischen Bauernsalat. Wir haben höflich hingewiesen dass keine Paprika im Salat war. Er meinte es wäre nie Paprika enthalten. Wer die Karte liest ist klüger

Wir waren dort das erste und letzte mal. Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell aber das wars auch. Teller kaputt, Polster kaputt. Meine Vorspeise war kalt und innen roh, ging komplett zurück. Unsere Hauptspeisen waren lauwarm bis kalt. Fleisch war zäh und trocken, der Reis war nur matschig und null gewürzt. Die Salate haben nach nix geschmeckt, total lieblos angerichtet.

Pojechaliśmy spontanicznie, bez rezerwacji i choć było pełno, znaleziono dla nas urocze miejsce 😊obsługa przemiła, szybka i znająca się na swojej pracy 👍jedzenie pysznie przyrządzone, apetycznie podane ,porcje solidne i bardzo smaczne 😉😍tak wiec polecam tę restaurację na miło spędzony posiłek...toalety bardzo czyste ,tak więc polecam każdemu...problemem będzie wjazd ba wózku inwalidzkim, bo to w starej kamienicy z kilkoma schodkami ale myślę, że ogródek restauracjyjny lub pomóc obsługi pomogą problem rozwiązać 🙃🥰🙃

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, leider 2 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet (waren an einem Samstagabend da). Die Rinderleber und der warme Vorspeiseteller sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Zum ersten mal Essen gewesen, nette Bedingung . Vorspeise und danach Essen kamen relativ schnell auf dem Tisch, leider aber gar nicht frisch! Schmeckte nicht gut daher ging wieder zurück. Kein leckeres Essen also wir kommen nicht wieder.

Essen war schwer in ordnung, Gyros war zwar zu trocken aber alles andere war Top. Jede menge Kelner die sehr zuvorkommend waren und immer mal wieder am Tisch waren. Reichhaltige Speisekarte und die Preise waren fair.

Sehr schön, das Essen wirklich gut, auch die Preise stimmen! Personal sehr höflich und nett. Innerhalb von 30 min, Getränke mit Vorspeise und hauptgang auf dem Tisch gehabt. (Waren zu siebt) wir kommen wieder!

Das Restaurant war schön eingerichtet. Wir haben allerdings draußen auf der Terrasse gegessen. Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut Geschmeckt und preislich war es sehr fair. Ich hatte das Hähnchenbrustfilet mit Penne dazu einen Beilagensalat. Fand ich super! Komme gerne wieder.

Das Mittagessen wird immer mickriger. Mickriger Salat (leicht welk), wenige Pommes zum Fleisch. Nachtisch, den es jahrelang gab, ersatzlos gestrichen. Schade, wir waren Stammgäste, sind es jetzt nicht mehr. Wir haben immer alle Freunde, Geschäftspartner dorthin ausgeführt, machen wir jetzt nicht mehr. Es gibt Alternativen in der Nachbarschaft.

Sehr leckeres Essen, für den Preis allerdings kleine Portionen, die als Ausgleich schick auf den Teller gelegt werden. Der Salat vorab stand schon eine Weile, bevor er serviert wurde.

Mir schmeckt es hier, man sitzt schön, gute Auswahl an Speisen. Alles lecker. Auch der Mittagstisch ist super: große Auswahl und auch preislich ok.

Zum Essen: Sowohl die Vorspeise als auch das Hauptgericht waren sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Portionen waren von der Größe her optimal, nicht zu stark und nicht zu schwach gewürzt. Hervorzuheben ist das sehr zart gelungene Fleisch. Der Service war super und stets sehr freundlich.

Wir haben gut und auch recht viel gegessen. Sehr gut gewürzte Schafskäsecreme, knuspriges Fleisch. Service freundlich und aufmerksam.
