We were guests again today with great expectations due to the positive experience at the previous location. We remember the top quality of the spare ribs and burgers, as well as the unique BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, this only remained in our memories. We were guests with 5 people, 2 ordered a fish dish, 2 the all you can eat spare ribs and 1x burger with huge anticipation. Even after multiple requests, our food wasn't on our tables after 1 1/2 hours... Everyone around us who had arrived much later had already eaten and even left the restaurant in the meantime…. We really felt like we were being taken for a ride... the boss himself came to the table and was rude because we were really pissed off, which is something you should understand. Only a round of drinks as compensation with a cracked beer glass. In the end, it turned out that the male service person, who was not exactly friendly but rather annoyed, had forgotten to send our order to the kitchen. After several inquiries, the blonde female and definitely friendlier service person discovered this. We came back because of the incredibly great experience at the previous location and wanted to show this to our family... the first round of spare ribs was fine from all you can eat, the second round was inedible and completely full of goo... the burger was a children's burger for expensive money... Only the fish was okay. So if you want to be served unfriendly and receive completely annoyed answers when you ask for an ashtray, have a rebellious boss of the restaurant standing in front of you, have a quiver because you have to ask several times for your food and wait hours... if you want to pay a lot of money, you've come to the right place... It's a shame that you're no longer at the previous location, where you were a holiday highlight, now unfortunately just an absolute flop and a messy holiday evening...

I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The food was fresh, tasted great and was really homemade. I've been there twice now and will come again before I leave. Was there again yesterday, there was a special offer of spare ribs all you can eat, it was really tasty and you could reorder as long as you could, unfortunately I gave up early. But it tasted great again 👍 2025, a year later, repeat offender 😁 it was almost like “coming home” nothing has changed, everything was just as good and tasty as 2024 😋👍

Had reserved a table for this evening. It's my husband's birthday today and the house gave us a great dessert that we both ate. The food was also super tasty. Service friendly and accommodating. Definitely come back again.

We had reserved a table for four people for 1 p.m. and I have to say, everything was wonderful. I absolutely cannot understand some of the reviews. If you are looking for an original USA burger, ribs etc., Flying Kitchen is the right place for you. The menu also offered enough alternatives for difficult eaters like our children. =). Great shop, really great, great burgers, great steaks, best restaurant in Norddeich We were here again at Easter. The place was packed, despite some rude guests that we could only shake our heads at, they remained really nice

This was our second time eating there and we can really recommend the Flying Kitchen. The first time we didn't make a reservation, the second time we made a reservation in advance because it can be busier in the evenings on weekends. The first time we sat inside and the last time we were lucky enough to be able to sit in the attached winter garden. The atmosphere is very good. The food was very tasty and the spare ribs were buttery. The burger was also very tasty. The staff was super friendly and was able to recommend a good nightcap for us. The prices are great, the portions are also very good. I can really only recommend the Flying Kitchen. If we go on holiday in Norddeich again we will come back.

Money-making, each ketchup or mayo is charged individually. A steak for 27.80 doesn't come with any side dishes, fried potatoes cost three euros extra. Steak was English, not medium rare as ordered. Not a single salad on the menu

The service was friendly and attentive - we would like to emphasize that in a positive way. Unfortunately, that was the only bright spot. The burger buns were so sticky that they looked like they had been made the day before and the fries were completely over salted. Overall disappointing in terms of taste – it probably would have been better if it had been made at home. For €18 per burger you can definitely expect more. In addition, there was an atmosphere in which unfortunately one could not feel comfortable. The lighting, furnishings and overall atmosphere were not very appealing. In any case, it wasn't comfortable. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation for us. Price-performance doesn't match and the overall package wasn't convincing in any respect.

Great service, funny, humorous, very accommodating. TOP The food was very tasty, but due to intolerances, I had special requests that were implemented very well. It was very cozy and there was a pleasant atmosphere. We'll be back🙃

Our favorite restaurant now, the steaks and burgers are perfect as always, the price-performance ratio is right for the fresh goods, everything is freshly prepared. the staff was friendly as always and everything was very clean, other restaurants around the area can take a leaf from that, We'd love to come back. I feel slightly deceived, it could be that it was an isolated case, but if the menu says goose and for €25.00 then I expect that the meat portion is larger than the bones and that dressed up tap water costs €7.50 then I will take a second look.

We were there for the first time today and certainly not the last time! It was great! Delicious food, friendly service and the Christmas atmosphere was very nice! In the end, the nice service person would have deserved another 5 stars because she fulfilled the wish of 3 adults for a cherry lollipop (childhood memories:-) Thank you for this great evening! We'd love to come back next year!

Hmm we were guests here too. This time no schnitzel :-) but burger. That was good. Not very good but good. My fellow contestants gave the food 3/4 out of 5 points. The service was very good as my friend never had an empty beer glass. He attaches great importance to this. The ambience in the house itself was very good. We sat "outside" in the "winter garden". Depending on the time of year it's just ok. All in all a good evening.

Went spontaneously today for all you can eat spear ribs. We saw the banner by chance on our bike tour. On the way back I asked if there were any seats available. Very nice boss and service. The food was very tasty 😋. Can really recommend. What we miss on the North Sea is a “scampi to eat”. Maybe a suggestion for the boss 😉

Wir waren nun zum 4. Mal im Flying kitchen, seit dieses am neuen Standort ist. Dieses Mal hatten wir Rippchen, Pommes, krautsalat, Zwiebelringe und Lillet. Das Essen war heiß und lecker. Der Krautsalat war richtig gut. Die Wartezeit und der Preis waren angemessen. Der Service zurückhaltend, aber freundlich. Das Ambiente könnte etwas moderner sein.

Suitable for celiac disease!!! In short, delicious burgers at an absolutely fair price! But for me the service is much more important!!! We have 2 children with celiac disease. The waitress immediately asked about intolerance or celiac disease...for that alone I gave it 5 stars. The gluten-free burger was no problem at all, nor was the currywurst. A curry sauce was homemade here without gluten. I can only thank you for the great service and openness!!!

The food was a real disappointment for the price

First of all, my parents and the child liked it better than I did. Staff was very friendly. I had a salad with broiled chicken breast, I actually would have expected more here (for the hefty price of €18.90). The meat was definitely in the pan too short and didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately the salad was boring.

I thought the price for the food was way too expensive.. The service from the young man was completely fine. But I didn't find a smaller, older lady particularly friendly. The ambience could be more comfortable for the higher price of the food.

The food is good but the design of the menu is difficult to understand. It is stated that rump steak is served with herb butter and a price is given. The herb butter was then billed separately. After complaining, I reluctantly received the amount back.

Wie bereits im Frühjahr versprochen waren wir als Wederholungsesser erneut im The Flying Kitchen. Selten habe ich einen so guten Burger (Barbecue) gegessen. Die Bandnudeln meiner Frau waren ebenfalls exzellent. Das Personal wie beim letzten Mal äußerst bemüht, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

We were regulars, but after the restaurant moved we withdrew a bit. The restaurant used to be modern, bright and very attractive. Unfortunately, this has changed for the worse, but the quality of the dishes on offer has remained the same! American food at a reasonable price.

Friendly service that helped us get a seat even without a reservation. Menu varied, something for everyone, good quality and solid. In addition to the dining room, there is also a covered and heated winter garden.

It was a delicious meal, everyone got the medium/raw they wanted. Perfect to the point. The soups are very tasty. Good atmosphere, fun to eat. We recommend it to everyone!!

On the whole everything was fine. The food was tasty but I didn't think the prices were particularly suitable. The burger with onion rings didn't have enough content for 19.90, so a leaf of lettuce or tomato is normal for a burger, I think. The cheeseburger with bacon had more in between for 17.90. Since I didn't really want fries with it, I used fried potatoes. I thought as a replacement for the fries but no, I had to pay an additional 2.90 for that. Well, you can talk about it, but I wasn't aware of the additional costs for the exchange. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Service top, food well, you got full, price-performance not satisfactory, far too expensive for the quality, that's why only 2 stars.

I definitely can't understand the positive reviews. The food was mediocre at best and the service staff was an absolute disaster.

Our reservation for 6 people wasn't in the system, but we still got a table. The service was really good: quick and nice. One point deducted from the food because the paddies on the burgers we ordered were too English for us. The Jägerschnitzel was good and the fries were really tasty. We felt the price-performance ratio was a bit too high.

Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce - Schnitzel tough and only 2 to max. 5 mm thick. The breading was ultra thick. Totally overpriced for the quality. A terrible disappointment if you are hungry and rely on online reviews. Not recommended.

A spontaneous visit that was worth it! The heated outdoor area was cozy and invited you to linger. The staff was not only attentive, but also extremely friendly - a rarity these days! The food was first class: generous portions, fresh ingredients and perfect preparation. We'll definitely be back!

We had a pleasant evening here with good food and drinks. The pasta dish with shrimp was on point, the ribs with fries were also great. The ribs came off the bone easily, were tender and tasted really good. The service was attentive and very friendly. For us, Flying Kitchen is an absolute recommendation to all Norddeich visitors.

We had burgers and ordered the bacon crispy, it didn't work out. The patty was more of a meatball, thick and far too small for the bun, we had ordered "well-done", and that's what it was: completely dry. Unfortunately, the (delicious) sauce masks everything. The freshly tapped beer lacked carbon dioxide and was unfortunately very stale. The service was very nice and unfortunately had to cope with a lot that evening. As an apology for the dry meat, we got an ouzo on the house. We specially ordered ketchup and mayo for the fries and unfortunately they came in portion sachets, which doesn't have to be the case given the amount we eat every day. All in all, it's a shame, maybe the kitchen addresses some of the criticisms, because the restaurant is nice and has a good location. But we definitely won't go there again.

The entire staff as well as the boss are very nice and also up for a joke or two. The price is completely justified and the food was worth every cent☺️ We would be happy to come back again
