We often passed this hotel during our visits to Norddeich and ate there years ago. Now we finally booked a room there and we haven't regretted it. First, we must highlight the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff, including the Albers family. 🤗 All our wishes and requests were fulfilled. We really enjoyed the hotel. The spa area is fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired. We also loved the Fumaris Lounge. Where else can you find something like that? What absolutely must be mentioned is... The food... The breakfast buffet is a dream 😋 In the evenings, we always had a three-course à la carte menu. Thank you to the kitchen... It was always perfect. Thank you for the wonderful time. We'll be back! 😃

A lovely hotel with comfortable, high-quality, and clean rooms, a small swimming pool, a nice sauna, a first-class breakfast, and a central location right next to the dike. It has its own parking and is in a quiet location, at least during the off-season.

Our stay was a complete success. The location right next to the dune is simply perfect. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and you feel warmly welcomed from the very beginning. I would particularly like to highlight the wellness area, which is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortably designed – ideal for relaxing after a long day at the sea. The pool is also a good size, so you can easily swim a few laps. The breakfast selection was very varied and high-quality. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for anyone seeking relaxation, comfort, and a great location.

The Regina Maris is a four-star hotel located directly on the dike in Norddeich, East Frisia. It offers everything you would expect from a hotel of this category: the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and modern. In our opinion, the rooms are rather small, but they lack nothing. The breakfast is plentiful and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant offers both fish and meat, as well as vegetarian dishes. The prices are rather upscale. The location is ideal for walks along the dike, and thanks to its connection to two German railway stations, it's a good starting point for visits to Norden, Emden, and Leer. Trips to the islands of Juist and Norderney are also possible.

Spent a week at this superb hotel. Very friendly service at the reception and in the restaurant. Superbly delicious food. The swimming pool, sauna, and massage in the wellness area are highly recommended. Thank you...we'll be back.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of dinner options. The breakfast buffet is also extensive, with something for everyone. Small, cozy, well-maintained, family-run hotel right on the dike. Parking is a bit tricky, but available right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, an excavator was currently parked in the disabled parking spaces, but Murphy's Law applies, there are also wheelchair and electric charging station parking spaces. We generally need both. Friendly staff, a small lounge area with waitress service in the foyer for reading and drinking coffee. Nice room, unfortunately not completely wheelchair accessible, but I knew that beforehand, I booked too late. However, if the weather is bad or in the evening, it might be more than just the small screen on the wall. That's quite a youth timer. Restaurant with a pleasant ambiance, good food, attentive, quick but not intrusive service. Breakfast is good. Particularly convenient: You can flexibly switch between bed and breakfast and half-board every day. Unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of all the hotel's facilities on our short trip. Checking out the day after tomorrow. A successful stay, definitely worth repeating, unless something worse happens ;-)

This is our second time staying at the hotel. As always, we received a very friendly welcome. The service staff is also friendly and accommodating. The food is very tasty and plentiful. The selection of drinks (wine) is also good. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the dike.

The hotel is truly wonderful. The breakfast buffet and dinner are hard to beat. Teatime with East Frisian cake was also delicious. The staff and service throughout the entire hotel leave little to be desired. See you soon.

We're here with a bus tour group. So far, I've been very satisfied. Nice room, bathroom a bit small but OK. The staff was nice, friendly, and attentive. Good dinner, excellent breakfast. Until last night, a waiter's rude behavior almost ruined this positive atmosphere. That's not how you win customers. Comment on the hotel's response. None of the guests at our table used xenophobic insults against the staff member. He had something completely wrong.

It was simply heavenly... A very friendly and attentive welcome. We were so spoiled at the hotel with thoughtful touches and delicious food. The room was clean, and the towels were always clean. A great hotel in a good location with very good food and service, quietly situated right on the dike.

Well...the rooms are smaller than on a ship...the bathroom is okay...sea view...if you stretch, yes...but looking at a roof isn't so great... Very winding, lots of steep stairs... The breakfast buffet is PERFECTLY fine, everything's OK...you can't do more than eat anyway... Even the snacks in between...very, very delicious...!!!!! So, that's it.

We spent another wonderful week at the Hotel Regina Maris in Norddeich – and this is our second visit. This family-run hotel impresses not only with its location and amenities, but above all with its warm atmosphere, which you feel from the very first moment. After a few weeks at the Hotel Regina Maris, we're back to normal, and we're reflecting on that relaxing time. We made our reservation nine months before the start of our vacation without any worries, as cancellations up to one week before arrival don't result in any financial loss. A brief summary of our two weeks: From the online reservation and telephone contact, the reception and briefing, the cleanliness of the room and the hotel, and above all, the friendliness of all the hotel staff = everything was TOP-NOTCH. Special thanks go to Anna-Lena from reception and Egzon from the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant: We had a breakfast buffet every day and a three-course dinner in the evening. You could choose from the regular menu, the chef's suggestion, or, if we had time, from the asparagus menu. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and served. They always say that you meet again in life. We certainly hope so.

We booked a subscription and were extremely satisfied in every respect. You're truly treated like a guest here. First-class service, very nice rooms, a rich breakfast buffet, quiet, comfortably furnished, dinner like a Michelin-starred restaurant, very friendly service, and special requests are always accommodated. If a 6-star rating were allowed, we would have given it one. Thank you for your superb hospitality. Everything was top-notch.

Norddeich is a very beautiful coastal town. Tourism is very high here. The hotel is located directly on the coast with a beach. Cars can be parked at the hotel. Access is a bit problematic, as many people, cyclists, etc., use both paths. Hence one star less. However, it's generally not a problem.

The food was good and plentiful. The service was friendly.

The decor is beautifully modern, maritime, and cozy. You immediately feel at home. The breakfast was very good, everything you need was there, and the terrace offered a great view of the dike.

Such a beautiful and clean hotel. The food and staff are simply fantastic. And the location is perfect. Even as a family with children, you feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the internet doesn't work at all, even though we asked about it several times. It's a shame...these days, since you rely on it so often. But that's really the only criticism.

We decided on the spur of the moment to take a short vacation where we could completely get away from our usual surroundings and focus on ourselves and our family, without being available to everyone. Booking: The first positive aspect worth mentioning was the booking directly on the hotel website. Rooms, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, massages, parking, etc., could all be booked in advance. All WITHOUT the need for a credit card! I hardly know of any hotel where this is possible, so for me, it's an absolutely huge plus!!! Since it was only possible to select "guests" and not children, we booked for two people and then called to inquire whether it would be a problem for our daughter to come along (since, as mentioned, we couldn't list her as a direct guest). This wasn't the case (more details later). Arrival: We were warmly welcomed at the reception, and we were given precise instructions on where everything in the hotel was located (rooms, pool, massage rooms, restaurant, etc.). We also received a "parking card" for our car with information about another parking space (directly in front of the hotel) in case the parking spaces were full and what to do in that case. We were then allowed to check into our room. Even before we touched our suitcases, we were asked if we needed help with our luggage. When we entered our room, we were absolutely stunned (in a good way)! The room was more than adequately sized, absolutely clean, and wonderfully made up by the housekeeping staff, and even a duvet and pillow had been prepared for our little one to sleep on. They also thought of our little one for use in the spa/pool area, and, what's really sweet, a little bathrobe and flip-flops were prepared. The in-room sauna was also explained to us in detail for private use. Stay: Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the staff was always friendly, accommodating, and truly ALWAYS catered to ALL of our wishes and needs. I've rarely (despite the fact that it could sometimes be quite stressful for the staff) experienced such competent employees with such charisma. You'd really think they had no personal lives (since you didn't sense even a hint of personal problems or job stress). I personally found this absolutely inspiring. One afternoon, we wanted to order two coffees to our room, which wasn't a problem. Since the friendly receptionist couldn't hear a sound in the room, he left the items outside the door and notified us via WhatsApp, which was really very thoughtful, as we had just put our daughter down for her nap at the time. Even when we asked at the reception for information about the ferry to Norderney, we were immediately informed and, upon request, a ferry ticket was organized for us within 5 minutes. Wellness/Massage: We had already booked two massages in advance with our preferred date (day and time) and were informed before our arrival (approximately 1-2 days after booking) that these two appointments would work. On the day in question, everything went smoothly, without endless waiting or anything like that. The lady who massaged us knew exactly what she was doing, and we both returned to our rooms completely relaxed after the massage. SUMMARY For us, it was one of the most beautiful and relaxing vacations of our lives (especially with our little daughter), even though it was only a short three-day break. We were really sad to have to go home, as our hopes for a relaxing, restful, and stress-free vacation were more than exceeded. At this point, we would like to sincerely thank all the staff, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant staff, for our wonderful stay! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! <3

This was our third consecutive visit to the Regina Maris, and everything was always great. - Great food - Beautiful room - Great ambiance and usually very attentive service in the restaurant. The first two evenings, we were served by our waiter of the past few years – as always, excellent and organized, and really very nice and accommodating. The last two evenings – disorganized; we had to wait almost 15 minutes for the menu, and drinks were taken in advance. The main course was supposed to be served while the starter was still on the table and hadn't been cleared away. Additionally, the apparently newer wait staff were sometimes very loud and more concerned with each other than with the restaurant guests. We'll be back next year anyway.

For us it's like coming home. Actually, I don't even want to say how great it always is, otherwise everyone will want to go and we won't get a vacation date! But everything is really true. The service is courteous, the food from Mr. Riekers and his team is simply divine. The rooms comfortable, cozy. The only minus for me is that I have to leave again. But we'll definitely come back. That was my post a year ago. In March 2025 we were there again for 14 days and the time went by far too quickly. My partner is blind, but no problem here. All the employees and even the managing couple are so friendly and helpful, so that I can also enjoy my vacation. And we have booked again for next year. My husband can even use the sauna without any problems while I can swim. He knows his way around the junior suite just like he would at home and can move around like that. The beautiful location close to the dike does the rest. And of course the menu with delicious fish dishes. They would like to be a little more. This all-round relaxation gives me the strength I need for my everyday life. Thanks to everyone at Regina Maris.

We booked with you at very short notice for 3 nights. The hotel and room were very nice, but after my husband injured his foot, or rather, Achilles tendon, upon arrival in the poorly designed, narrow parking lot, we were disappointed. We had to leave the next day because he urgently needed to see an orthopedist. The hotel management showed no mercy!!! We were charged for 3 full days, with everything included!!! Except for the waiter area, everything is great. We had to wait quite a long time even though it wasn't full. Then the waiter came and wanted to take the order even though we hadn't received a card yet. Maybe it wasn't his best day. Since we had time, it wasn't that tragic. We'll definitely go back.

We stayed in this hotel for a few days again. It was beautiful as always. Since my husband is in a wheelchair, we opted for a suite. There is more space here. The bathroom is divided into two rooms. One room is equipped with a toilet including grab bars. The other room has a walk-in shower. The food was excellent as always. We always enjoy visiting this hotel.

You are allowed to smoke inside the closed patio cover. As a non smoker and children have to walk through them. And that is prohibited in Germany!!!!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Hotel Regina Maris. We can only recommend this hotel. Very nice and very clean hotel rooms. The breakfast has everything your heart desires. In the evening there was a 3 course menu. You could put it together yourself. The quality is top. Simply awesome. The entire hotel deserves more than 4 stars. The staff was very friendly and professional and everyone always had a smile on their face. My conclusion: We'll definitely be back.

We were invited to a birthday party. Lunch and coffee table. Everything was very good. A delicious soup, fish and meat combined with potatoes and croquettes, vegetables of carrots, peas, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and red cabbage. Plus various sauces. Dessert. Mouse in dark and white, Rafaelo cream, red jelly and vanilla sauce. There was something for everyone. Coffee table was also rich selection of cakes and coffee. The service was very good. You really feel like a welcome guest there. Thanks to all.

The reception staff were unfriendly, rude, insulting, the service neither corresponds to the price nor to a 4 star hotel. When I checked out, the staff wanted to charge my children for room costs even though everything had already been paid. It was only when I came that suddenly there were no more costs. The sausage at breakfast was old and the bacon was hard, it wasn't very clean and everything looked like a cheap canteen. The operator is rude, all in all it was a very unpleasant stay.

We wanted to have lunch on a Sunday in the barely occupied winter garden with 11 people. Unfortunately it was not possible to put together the available tables because we had not reserved them. We decided on a different location.

I stayed at Regina Maris for 4 nights and felt comfortable and welcome from the first minute. My room was clean, well-kept and comfortable - as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was rich and, above all, the staff was always friendly and attentive. For me it was a perfect place to take a break from everyday life.

I had asked the hotel for goodwill regarding the cancellation conditions, because within 90 minutes (due to misinformation about the mainland-Juist ferry connections on January 7th, 2025) I wanted and had to cancel my overnight stay in the hotel, which I had booked at short notice on January 6th, 2025, for the next day . I had written a detailed email to the hotel about this and had already spoken to a hotel employee on the phone 60 minutes after the incorrect booking, but she was unable to make a decision. Instead, the day after next I received a 100% cancellation invoice in the amount of €121.32 with reference to the applicable terms and conditions in a standard email text. When I pointed out that my booking confirmation only provided for 90% cancellation costs, I received - without any apology - a corrected cancellation invoice with the standard email text and a new reference; now on § 552 BGB. For me, however, this is not “adequate compensation”, but rather a pure rip-off; also in view of the fact that they initially wanted to charge me 100% for cancellation.

Had dinner there on December 25th. Have ordered 2x sas Christmas menu. Everything was great and very tasty. It was very full, which resulted in two small errors, which were immediately resolved after consultation.

We had booked a table in the restaurant and had the Christmas menu. Brilliantly delicious! Broth with marrow dumplings, Barberie duck breast with a very good sauce, delicious sliced ​​red cabbage and rösti and, for dessert, gingerbread mousse. Very good Riesling from the Moselle and a good grappa from Chardonnay. At first I was brought a small Alster instead of the large Alster I ordered and we were served one broth instead of two, but after that everything was very good and the small Alster was even taken off the bill. All in all, a very nice evening and definitely recommended. Thank you very much!

Best hotel for the price. Delicious food and chilling.

When I had to cancel at short notice due to illness, I received an unfriendly email from the hotel manager accusing me of “wasting food”. Cancellation fees of €835 were charged for 5 days. A hefty price for services that I didn't use. Update: The management wrote to me: "(...) thank you for your review on Google. It is important to us to take our guests' feedback seriously and respond to it. However, I would like to emphasize that your review contains personal attacks against me as managing director, which are unacceptable I therefore urge you to remove this review immediately (...)" "(...) If this review is not removed within a reasonable period of time, we will be forced to immediately take all further legal action against you. (...)" Well, I look forward to a legal dispute with great calm because I have neither insulted anyone nor asserted false facts.

I'm reviewing the restaurant on the promenade, which is accessible to everyone, not the hotel. Friendly service. Nice places. Very tasty dishes both at lunchtime and on the small menu after 2 p.m. Crab dishes at an affordable price.

The waiters were very nice. What you would expect from an upscale restaurant. Extremely good. The cake was also a decent portion.

We were guests in Norden-Norddeich for a week in Nov. 24 - but not in this hotel. The display in front of the winter garden and the fact that the dog is also allowed in the area attracted us to the "Ostfries. Tea time". Nice welcome, great service and a more than successful tea time with waffles, hot cherries, cream and vanilla ice cream with a very good price/performance ratio made us happy. A very nice hotel with a wide range of spa offers. Modernly furnished and very clean. The employees are very friendly, helpful and warm. The breakfast buffet is very fresh and wide-ranging. The restaurants are also recommended. WiFi is available free of charge throughout the entire house. There are various parking spaces available around the site and e-bikes and vehicles can also be charged. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the location.

We went to this hotel for coffee. We were actually really looking forward to it. Especially a delicious waffle. Unfortunately you couldn't enjoy the waffle at all. Unfortunately the anteroom was very smoky. Smokers are allowed to sit there. And the unpleasant smell moves into the room where you actually want to enjoy the food. Unfortunately this is not possible. An absolute no go. That something like that still exists today. For me a reason not to come back. Too bad

Hello dear people from Regina Maris, We were in really good hands with you for 8 days at the end of September  Location: perfect, directly behind the dike. Parking spaces are available for visitors. Reception/reception: helpful, very friendly, always present. Cleaning: neat, also very friendly staff. Service breakfast, afternoon and evening: hardworking, despite stress always a smile for her guests, every wish was fulfilled. Breakfast: very extensive and really something for everyone. Freshly prepared Dishes such as eggs with crab are brought to the table. This is how the day begins really good. Dinner: A hit for me! Guests choose 3 dishes from categories Free choice from the menu. The food tastes fantastic. Kudos to the kitchen. The interesting menu offers starters, intermediate courses, main courses and desserts. We could choose vegetarian dishes, fish dishes or meat dishes. At Regina Maris we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff treated. We would like to thank you for this lovely holiday and would be happy to come back. Kind regards from the north, Heike and Dirk

We made the food for our small, private wedding reception there. The table was beautifully set, the service was really first class and the food was incredibly tasty 😋 😊 everything worked perfectly and helped us enjoy a really nice little celebration. Thank you very much for that ❤️ Since we only ate there, I unfortunately can't say anything about the rooms, but I am convinced that this hotel is generally highly recommended. 😊

Very nice, always courteous staff, excellent food, nice room. I spent a very relaxing family holiday here at a completely reasonable price. Wonderful and recommended at any time! Thanks for that! And from current experience with a guest present at the same time: If you desperately look for a fly in the ointment and then find it, it could be because it is one of many on your own teeth.

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend and we are very impressed. Very friendly staff and really fantastic food. Our room was spacious and bright. The hotel is right on the dike, just a few steps and you can see the beach chairs. I would particularly like to highlight the following: On the penultimate day of vacation I wasn't feeling well in the morning. I felt sick to my stomach. At dinner I asked for some dry noodles. That wasn't a problem at all. Unfortunately, after a few minutes I had to go into the room and lie down again. My girlfriend was allowed to bring the food to my room and also got rusks for me. Their food was not retrieved until they returned. . Thank you for that! We'd love to come back! ;-)
