Sehr leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente. Gästebetreuer sind top! Haben alle eine Gehaltserhöhung verdient. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir -3 Erwachsene, davon 1 Senior und 1 Seniorin (geh- und sehbehindert), sowie ein Hund wurden sehr herzlich und aufmerksam empfangen und umsorgt. Der Hund bekam sofort einen sauberen Napf mit frischem Wasser, der Seniorin wurde bei der Bewältigung von 2 Stufen geholfen und später noch der Blindenstock hintergebracht. Wir hatten sehr leckere Burger-Gerichte, sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Das Personal war sehr offen, wir haben uns auch über Cockerspaniel unterhalten. (Das Personal verdient sicherlich eine Gehaltserhöhung😍!)

Coole Location, lockere und offene Art zum Kunden. Haben dort Cocktails getrunken, lecker und eisgekühlt. Schade das erst ab 18 Uhr geöffnet wird, haben unten gesessen, wie es oben aussieht kann ich leider nicht sagen - gesperrt. Hoffentlich sind oben ein paar Sofa und chillige Sessel und waren leider nicht viele. Es gibt zum Wochenende auch Happy hour.

Top Gastrobetrieb ..Tolles Ambiente & Tolle Mitarbeiter. Empfehlungen seitens der MA werden ausgesprochen ob beim Essen oder den Getränken .Sehr zu empfehlen. ! Danke an das Team für einen leckeren und gemütlichen Abend in Norden. Danke dem Smutje fur den Tipp ! .

Dock No 8 ist für uns schon eine Tradition - wir freuen uns jedes Jahr wieder auf den Besuch! Auch dieses Jahr war Olli und sein Team wieder exzellent im Service - und die Cocktails als Starter ein Geheimtipp. Hier spürt man das Herzblut, mit dem hier gearbeitet wird. Die Küche ist super lecker und kreativ - das Labskaus ist einmalig im Geschmack und außergewöhnlich auf dem Teller serviert. Herzlichen Dank an die Küche und den Service! Wir sind nächstes Jahr wieder dabei!

Tolles Restaurant, Tolles Essen, Toller Service. Wir waren spät dran und obwohl die Küche quasi zu hatte, haben sie uns noch für 6 Personen noch etwas zubereitet. Der Service war super freundlich und einen Gruß an die Küche. Die Köchin hat gezaubert. Ach ja, es gab auch sehr leckeres veganes zu essen. Auf hoffentlich bald.

Wer nach Norden kommt zum Urlaub oder sonst was schaut ins Dock № 8 Norden vorbei Großartiges Restaurant und supertolle Mitarbeiter Das Essen war hervorragend und auch das Ambiente stimmt Man fühlt sich gleich Zuhause Liebe Grüße an Miriam und Olli und wenn ich es zu sagen hätte bitte an alle eine Gehaltserhöhung 😊

Waren 1x dort Essen, das reicht aber auch Bowl mit angeblich hausgemachten Falafel, Gemüse und Currysosse, dafür muss man nicht Essen gehen. Essen war trocken, Falafel sicher nicht selbst gemacht. Lokal sehr düster, hier sollte die Beleuchtung im Innenraum dementsprechend angepasst werden. Die 2 Mädls im Service, zwar nett, aber überfordert und nicht die Schnellsten. Das Essen, dauerte für die vorgelegte Qualität viel zu lange. Danke, aber ich muss da nicht noch einmal hin. 1x reicht und würde es auch nicht weiter empfehlen. Da viel es mir leicht, die Nachspeise und den Espresso danach, lieber woanders einzunehmen. Reservierung ist meiner Meinung nach nicht notwendig, denn der Laden, war so gut wie leer, was mich im Nachgang nicht wirklich verwundert.

Essen okay, aber nicht herausragend. Hatte ein Haar auf dem Essen, als der Teller ausgetauscht wurde sah das Gericht anders drapiert aus und schwamm plötzlich in Öl. Die in der Karte erwähnte Hummersauce hat leider gefehlt. Ambiente ist nett und der Service war zwar bemüht, aber hätte doch etwas mehr Entschädigung oder Aufwand für so einen gravierenden Faux Pas erwartet.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und konnten auch noch kurzfristig reservieren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich , aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war von der Portion etwas klein und auch nicht so wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten dennoch gut . Als Entschädigung haben wir ein Dessert aufs Haus bekommen was wir echt toll fanden. Daher gerne wieder.

Was soll man sagen, waren auf Nordseereise und sind am letzten Abend im Dock eingekehrt: Das Ambiente, super Urig, Motto Technisch eingerichtet. Einfach Klasse. Das Essen, hammer, super lecker egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert (offene Variaton aus der Küche) alles fantastisch. Aber jetzt zu meinen persönlichen Highlight: der Service Heutzutage findet man fast gar nicht mehr so einen super Service. Der Kellner/Mitarbeiter der uns bedient hat, hat nicht einfach seinen Job gemacht, er lebt für den Beruf. So einen super Service, Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Offenheit ist einfach unschlagbar. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team vom Dock für diesen unvergesslichen Abend. Solten wir nochmal an die Nordseeküste kommen kommen wir aufjedenfall wieder

Ein super schönes Ambiente, das Essen war super lecker und der Service mehr als freundlich, gar aufmerksam. Wir wohnen etwas über eine Stunde entfernt und werden die Strecke für einen Besuch und gutes Essen wieder auf uns nehmen!

Ein wirklich gelungenes Restaurant, das seit 2017 in Norden besteht und hier seine köstlichen Speisen serviert. Wir waren mit unserem Sohn und Tante hier zum ersten Mal und waren durchweg zufrieden, von der freundlichen Begrüßung über die Bedienung bis hin zum köstlichen Essen! Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Gerichte und alle waren auf den Punkt gekocht ein Volltreffer. Ich meine seht euch die Bilder an und überzeugt euch selbst bei einem Besuch von der tollen Küche und einen freundlichen Service, den man so im Norden gar nicht erwartet hätte. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen und die freundliche Bedienung, wir kommen wieder.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Der Fisch war ausgezeichnet. Sie haben auch veganes Essen, wobei das in der Karte besser gekennzeichnet sein könnte - aber ich wurde freundlich beraten. Die hausgemachten Falafel waren ganz gut, könnten jedoch innen etwas “cremiger“ sein. Ich bin ja schon sehr froh, wenn es überhaupt etwas Veganes gibt - dennoch möchte ich für Alternativen zu den doch sehr üblichen Falafel oder veganem Curry motivieren.

Rundum einen Besuch wert. Super leckeres Essen, sympathisches und engagiertes Personal, gute Musik und alles mit Liebe zum Detail gesegnet. Auf jeden Fall hingehen, wer in Norden gut essen möchte.

Außergewöhnlich leckeres Essen! Super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Sehr nettes Personal mit Witz und Humor, für große Gruppen gibt es auch ein ein extra Deck. Buffetessen war richtig gut! Die Einrichtung war stimmig und gut durchdacht.

In den 4 Tagen Urlaub waren wir 2x hier und nicht enttäuscht worden. Egal ob Burger, Lammragout, Fisch oder Beilagensalat, alles hervorragend. Der Chef hat auch immer einen netten Spruch parat. Schade dass wir weiter weg wohnen, könnte sonst ein Stammlokal sein.

Tolles Lokal… die Karte ist nicht zu groß, alle Speisen sind lecker. Das Ambiente ist modern, der Service top! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Olli, der mit Professionalität und guter Laune jedem Gast ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert. Für uns ist das Dock eines der besten Restaurants in der Umgebung. Wir waren Freitag mit unserer kleinen Gruppe im Doc 8 Essen. Der Service war sehr nett und sehr bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Ich hatte das Pfefdersteak und geschmacklich hat es mir wirklich gemundet. Statt den Pommes war es möglich einen Beilagensalat dazu zu bekommen. Der war in Ordnung nur fand ich das Dressing für meinen Geschmack recht säuerlich. Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden und satt nach Hause gegangen. Auch die online Reservierung hat problemlos und unkompliziert geklappt. Das Doc kommt auf jeden Fall auf meine persönliche Liste der Restaurants die ich zukünftig wieder besuchen werde und auch empfehlen werde wenn ich nach guten Restaurants im Ort gefragt werde. Ganz viel Liebe an euch❤️

What a fantastic restaurant! From the ambiance to the service to the music selection, everything was perfect. The homemade vermouth served in a test tube as a complimentary welcome drink from the bar was a real highlight. The food was visually stunning and tasted amazing. Thank you, dear Dock No8 team!

The food was served cold or oversalted. The fish and meat dishes were unfortunately very dry. The cake for dessert was very hard, as if it had been sitting out for a while. One dish was still inedible on the second attempt, even after being returned; the salad was served without dressing. Very disappointing and very expensive for the poor quality. Not recommended.

A very stylish ambiance, fitting the name, the coast, and the world's oceans. The service is comprehensive and not as stiff and serious as in other restaurants. There's always a cool saying ready. :-) The food is excellent and changes regularly. Beer stories and other Klabautermann-related information about schnapps, liqueurs, or whiskey are also very exciting and informative. A must for every sailor or captain enthusiast. Always worth a visit. INFO to a very specific service employee: Making the world a little better with whiskey, snacks, and other goodies👍

A very nice restaurant with excellent food and attentive staff. The ambiance pleasantly surprised us and is second to none.

We've eaten here several times now and will happily return in the future. Truly the best restaurant in this region. The ambiance is super cozy, and the food is excellent and unique. The kitchen does a fantastic job. As does the wait staff. Very good and very friendly service. We've rarely seen such good service, done with such passion. Everything is just right here! PS: The wait staff needs a raise, Olli knows it :D

I'll sum it up briefly: Very friendly, attentive, yet unobtrusive service. Reasonable wait times. Great, sophisticated maritime ambiance. And the food was perfect. There's no other way to put it. I've never had potatoes served as perfectly as the Küstentuffels. Perfectly cooked sautéed potatoes with pesto from heaven. That was top-notch. We'll definitely be back.

I'm still sitting in the restaurant and I can't stop being amazed. I haven't had such a great meal in a long time and the ambiance and the service are great. The people are great. You have to go there :)

We've become something of a regular here; at least, we stop by once every time we visit Norden. The menu offers many dishes with a maritime twist, which naturally fits in well with the coast. Special requests are always reliably fulfilled. The selection of cocktails and wines is very good; there's something for everyone. The dishes—at least the ones we've tried so far—always taste very good and are sometimes creatively but appropriately composed. The service is always friendly and attentive, even when there are only two people serving. Sometimes the restaurant can get a bit loud and echoey due to its design, but that's the case with many restaurants. Definitely worth a visit!

It starts with the modern ambiance. The delicious and beautifully presented food meets every expectation. The excellent service, however, truly rounds off the successful evening. The location in a side street doesn't seem to have affected its success. We were guests on two evenings, and it was always fully booked – so reservations are recommended. P.S.: We promised waiter Oli that he would. He did a great job on the first evening. It was a sold-out house; he was a lone wolf – but still a great job! I wonder if that's worth a raise ;-)

It's really nice to see that there are still restaurants where everything is just right. The food was very good, and the service was knowledgeable and very friendly. The ambiance is harmonious, and we felt very comfortable.

Highly recommended! Everything is just perfect here. From the reception, to the food, to the farewell. We had a delicious meal; we even received a small greeting from the kitchen and another from the bar. The two waiters know their job, are super attentive and friendly. The kitchen also knows what they're doing. The menu is varied, so you're sure to find something you like. There's a separate wine list, and they also offer a few cocktails. The restaurant is absolutely harmonious, from the napkins to the interior design. It's simply wonderful to see that restaurants like this still exist. High praise & keep up the good work.

A very stylishly decorated restaurant. Even the waiters' uniforms and the plates matched the decor. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small. There was also a misunderstanding regarding a special request when ordering, but the waiter quickly resolved this without further ado. The lemonade was also very tasty, although the taste was unusual at first. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

Everything was absolutely perfect. From the attentive waiter to the lovely ambiance to the excellent food. With a group of 10 people, everyone ate together. This certainly won't be our last visit.

Unfortunately, we had already eaten and arrived too late at "Dock 8." But the ambiance and service were excellent. Despite the late hour, the three employees were in a great mood. We were treated to a personalized digestif tasting with lots of information and even more humor. Oliver, in particular, was unstoppable—simply very personable.

Wir haben das Restaurant wegen der schönen Atmosphäre und der vielen positiven Bewertungen besucht – und tatsächlich: Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch der Service war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt zunächst sehr angenehm machte. Leider konnte das Essen bei unserem Besuch nicht mit dem Gesamteindruck mithalten. Die Preise sind unserer Meinung nach deutlich zu hoch angesetzt – ein Teller Nudeln für 29 Euro weckt Erwartungen, die leider nicht erfüllt wurden. Zudem waren die Nudeln versalzen. Das bestellte Steak kam beinahe roh an, obwohl wir es ausdrücklich Medium bestellt hatten. Geschmacklich war alles in Ordnung, aber nicht besonders – für das, was wir bezahlt haben, war es insgesamt eher Durchschnitt. Fazit: Ein schöner Ort mit tollem Service, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus unserer Sicht nicht. Mit kleinen Verbesserungen in der Küche könnte das Erlebnis dem aufgerufenen Preis gerecht werden.

We wholeheartedly recommend Dock 8 in Norden. We went there twice because we couldn't believe the first time that such great service still exists these days. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our table. There were a few house surprises, and all I can say about the food is: top-notch! We were very well looked after, even when the restaurant was very busy and things got a bit hectic. All I can say is, thank you so much! We'll definitely see you again! 😁 😘😘😘

This was our first time here. We felt very comfortable from the start. All the staff were attentive and courteous. We received expert advice regarding food and drinks. The food was good. We had three courses. We had to deduct one star because the main course was very limited and quite small. Nevertheless, we will be back 😀 Thank you for the lovely evening.

Very nice restaurant. Food very good and the waiter is outstanding. Super friendly, very hard working. Rarely have I had such a nice waiter. We've been there 3 times already. As a couple, with family (small child) and with friends. We were thrilled every time.

The restaurant looks very nice. Rustically furnished and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's a shame that what you read on the internet isn't true. You can't see the menu on your own website (at least with your cell phone). Unfortunately, what you see on the menu via a detour no longer corresponds to the prices. I pointed this out and was told that the website had been revised today. There was nothing left of the action days that were still visible on the website today at 5 p.m., such as today's Tuesday Tankard Day. It is still visible now at 10 p.m. The map is still not visible either. No more offers and my large beer, advertised on the promotion page as 0.5 or 1.0, was a 0.4L Köpi. And not cheap. The food came so quickly that you could already guess what to expect. Maximum average. A burger and a schnitzel. My wife also described her burger as average at best. My Brauhausschnitzel was not a very big schnitzel. The mushroom cream sauce is served separately in a small pot. With fresh mushrooms (positive) but the sauce at Knorr / Maggi level. Simply throw the fried potatoes into the fryer as potato cubes. No onions, bacon or even herbs. Some of the green beans were burned pitch black. They weren't seasoned either. Overall, a pretty flat performance from the kitchen. The fact that you also announce online what you don't fulfill fits the picture I have of the Dock 8 now. Others can simply do it better and, above all, more honestly. So I don't recommend the Dock 8.

Das Restaurant sieht sehr schön aus. Urig eingerichtet und auch das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Schade, dass das was man im Internet lesen kann aber nicht stimmt. Auf der eigenen Website kann man (zumindest mit dem Handy) die Speise karte nicht einsehen. Was man über Umwege dann an Speisekarte zu sehen bekommt stimmt mit den Preisen leider nicht mehr überein. Ich habe das angemerkt und bekam zur Antwort dass man die Website heute überarbeitet hätte. Von dem auf der Internetseite heute um 17h noch sichtbaren Aktionstagen wie z.B. heute am Dienstag Humpentag war aber auch nichts mehr da. Der ist auch jetzt um 22:00 noch sichtbar. Auch die Karte ist nach wie vor nicht sichtbar. Kein Angebot mehr und mein großes Bier, auf der Aktionsseite als 0,5 oder auch 1,0 günstig angekündigt war ein 0,4L Köpi. Und nicht günstig. Das Essen kam so schnell dass man schon vermuten konnte was einen da erwartet. Maximal Durchschnitt. Ein Burger und ein Schnitzel. Meine Frau hat ihren Burger auch als maximal Durchschnitt bezeichnet. Mein Brauhausschnitzel war ein nicht allzu großes Schnitzel. Die Champignon Rahmsauce separat in einem Töpchen serviert. Mit frischen Champignons (positiv) aber die Sauce auf Knorr / Maggi Niveau. Die Bratkartoffeln einfach als Kartoffelwürfel in die Fritte geworfen. Keine Zwiebeln, Speck oder gar Kräuter. Von den grünen Bohnen einige pechschwarz verbrannt. Gewürzt waren sie auch nicht. Insgesamt eine ziemlich flache Leistung aus der Küche. Dasa man zudem noch online ankündigt was man nicht erfüllt, passt für mich ins Bild was ich von dem Dock 8 jetzt habe. Das können andere einfach besser und vor allem ehrlicher. Somit empfehle ich das Dock 8 nicht weiter.

Really really great location. Very friendly staff who treat each other very respectfully. The noodles with prawns could have “looked” better, but the taste was excellent. Chocolate cake great. I found the “Sex on the Watt” cocktail to be very “tasteless” Ambience just great. Price/performance ratio absolutely top. Absolutely recommended!

Nice place, but won't visit again. Unfortunately, we waited 1 1/2 hours for our food (and it wasn't even full) and were then fobbed off with a stupid excuse instead of simply admitting that we had made a mistake, which we would have thought was completely ok...but we thought it was stupid to make up stupid excuses that maybe the printer in the kitchen didn't work. One burger was missing the entire salad garnish, of 3 schnitzels ordered, one schnitzel was as big as the other two and the “fried potatoes” were potatoes that were divided into large pieces and fried on one side, And unfortunately the price is not justified. Unfortunately I can't leave any other review.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere.

Everything is just right in this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is unbeatable. Even the kiddie menu with the nuggets was great. Not frozen goods, but freshly prepared and extremely tasty. I am an absolute fan of Olli. He looked after us the entire evening and read our every wish. All the tables were occupied and yet he was always extremely friendly, always had a smile on his face and also really impressed our 9 year old son. He kept an eye on every guest. We haven't met a service person like this in a long time. You should give 10 stars for that alone. We made reservations right there and then for the following day.

Fries are really good Burger songs a bit dry

Wir sind eine Woche im Urlaub in Norden und wollten eigentlich jeden Abend woanders essen. Angefangen haben wir im Doc 8 und sind dort geblieben. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend und das Team sehr nett. Aber das Essen ist jeden Abend ein Highlight. Es ist schon so appetitlich angerichtet , dass man kaum reinstechen mag . Und der Geschmack ist Mega lecker und die Preise absolut passend .Alles in allem gibt es von uns eine super Empfehlung und ein großes Dankeschön für die tolle Bedienung.
