I've often been to Norddeich, but always just walked by. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. There's a great selection of dishes at reasonable prices. We had a very good meal, including schnitzel with shrimp and pangasius with fries and vegetables. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. When we made the reservation, we mentioned that a birthday person would be joining us, and they surprised us with a dessert – thank you! Thanks again to the entire service team; they were incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We visited the Nordmeer restaurant in December 2025. We noticed the restaurant outside because it offered a lunch menu at unbeatable prices. Each dish was €8.50, and we paid €24 for two dishes and drinks, right by the sea. The food was fantastic; everything tasted great. The owner and the staff were very friendly and checked to make sure everything was alright. At the end, we were even given a complimentary small liqueur. We will definitely come back when we are in Norddeich again.

We spontaneously decided to eat there today without a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed and still got a table. The food was absolutely fantastic; we had plaice fillet with boiled potatoes and fries. We started with a small salad, and the main course also included vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots). Definitely recommended, we'll gladly come back.

We had a spontaneous and delicious meal at Restaurant Nordmeer today. I had the green-shell mussels with rice – absolutely divine! My boyfriend had a Jägerschnitzel with fries and plenty of gravy. You could choose between pork and chicken, and you could easily swap out any side dish. There was also the option of sitting outside under patio heaters, but we opted for a cozy spot inside. Overall, a very good meal and friendly service! 😇

I had the plaice with crab on one day and the fish platter on another, and I can say it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and very attentive 🤗 I'll definitely be back 👍🏼 The ambiance could be improved, but it's not really worth mentioning because everything else was perfect 🥰👍🏼

A very extensive menu awaits you at the Nordmeer restaurant. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts are all available. They also offer a special menu for seniors and daily specials. We were truly surprised by the quality of the food. We also had a wonderful chat with the owner, who personally visited each table to inquire about our satisfaction. Very friendly staff and prompt service rounded off a perfect evening. Highly recommended. The only thing that could be improved is the ambiance, but that's a matter of personal taste.

Very good food; I've never eaten such delicious fish and such fresh (shelled on-site) crabs. My girlfriend and I ate there five times in seven days and didn't regret it once. Friends enjoyed the delicious kale, the chicken soup is highly recommended, as are the fried noodles with chicken, redfish, or cod fillet, or the crab with black bread and scrambled eggs. Everything is freshly prepared, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly!

Great, we'll be back! A nice selection of North German, German, and Asian dishes at absolutely fair prices. Lunch with various dishes including a side salad and fried potatoes or rice for €8.50, even on weekends—where else can you get that? And then: delicious! We've been going to Norddeich regularly for at least 15 years, and now I have to say that we've missed visiting this simple, yet all the more welcoming restaurant. We had crispy duck with noodles and two of the larger fish dishes (with shrimp and squid rings, respectively) and had to make the journey home with a rather large doggy bag. You get a lot for your money, the service is excellent (we couldn't decide between two sauces and just got both), and the food is really fresh and delicious. Even if the extensive menu might lead you to expect something different. Reservations can be helpful, depending on the time of day. One visit per vacation will become standard from now on. We stopped in here spontaneously one evening after swimming. We received a warm welcome. There's a huge selection of dishes. We opted for two fried noodles with chicken and the kale from the autumn menu. The noodles even came with a spicy and a sweet and sour sauce. The kale was delicious, especially the fried potatoes, which I chose instead of boiled potatoes. On our next visit, we definitely know where we'll eat again.

Very friendly, polite, and helpful. Even if something doesn't taste good—in our case, the breading was too salty—the dish is immediately replaced with a new one. The chef tasted the "complaint" himself and confirmed it was oversalted. We were also offered a free drink or dessert 😉. Where can you find service like that these days? Highly recommended.
