Restaurant Nordmeer in Norden

We've been to the Nordmeer restaurant twice now and were very satisfied both times. The food was truly delicious. The friendly staff deserves special mention. You feel truly welcome and well looked after. We highly recommend a visit to the Nordmeer restaurant!

Very friendly service. The food is reasonably priced, and the menu is very extensive. In terms of quality, I'd describe it as "home cooking": good, but nothing special. Some things could be improved (e.g., don't let the breaded schnitzel soak in the water from the vegetables).

We arrived spontaneously and were offered a seat inside. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The price was also very reasonable and there were lots of offers. We'd happily go back again.

We were immediately assigned a table by the friendly owner without a reservation. Unfortunately, my starter and main course were served at the same time. Although the main course was kindly taken back (after I pointed it out), it was served again later. The soup tasted good, but unfortunately, the fries were undercooked and the nuggets were tasteless, hence only two stars.

We went there spontaneously and were assigned a table inside despite many reservations. The fish soup beforehand was excellent but so filling that we couldn't finish the main course. Very good food and very friendly service, we will happily come back.

The map is very large. The schnitzels are good but nothing special. Unfortunately I had to wait for my fish because the order went under. Unfortunately, this meant that my fellow travelers were able to eat together and I had to eat alone. The waiter's cool and friendly manner was nice, but his half-hearted apology in this "cool" manner was not helpful. I then felt sorry for my fish because it had to die twice... (fried too dry). The (regional) fried potatoes were very rare, not cooked through and didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

We have just had dinner, North Sea crabs with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes, cod fillet, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and fried potatoes, previously mixed salad, simply great. Really recommended.

We've been here several times and no matter what you order, it always tastes great. The service is very friendly. If you are in Norddeich, you should definitely eat here, because in addition to traditional German food you also get authentic Vietnamese food. And overall at very fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

First the positive: There was a lot of fish on the plate for the money and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the taste was rather average as was the ambience/furnishings. In our opinion, the menu is overloaded, it's better to stick to one thing and put it on the plate with love.

Thank God the tables weren't too crowded...we were able to bring our dog...super friendly...I think it was the boss himself...but also the staff...I think it was the father and mother too, super friendly. But now....the food...the presentation on the plate, you already knew it had to taste good and that's exactly how it was....fantastic....we can only recommend this restaurant....would also give it a sixth star. Some of the dishes go in an Asian direction and are priced at the same level as Norddeich. We had simple dishes and were also satisfied. Before the meal there was a small salad and after the meal a plum schnapps. The ambience could easily be improved with some dim lighting. The service was very friendly and you could have interesting and funny conversations with the boss.

A visit to the Nordmeer restaurant is definitely recommended. The three of us ate here with our 18-month-old child and received a warm welcome. The reservation was also completely unproblematic and very practical. The atmosphere is rather atypical. A mix of a typical northern German fish restaurant and an Asian restaurant, which was quite consistent in the overall concept. This mix was also reflected in the menu. An advantage for the guests, because everyone will definitely find something here. The food was good, as was the portion size. The starter plate was also delicious and a nice touch. But we particularly liked the service. Everyone was so sweet and kind, accommodating, gave recommendations and really listened. Overall, it was a lovely evening with delicious food and extremely good service.

We had lunch here. It was very tasty. Portions were good in terms of value for money. Children had the snack of fish fingers with fries, which was also good in terms of portion size. It was delicious.

I just have to recommend this place to others. Very good cuisine, no matter what food we ordered was really delicious. The staff including the boss were very accommodating and really nice. We felt so comfortable that we ate there again the following day. And honestly…. We didn't regret it. Many thanks to the whole team and boss of the plum juice very well 👍😉
