Das Shawarma war ungewürzt und ohne Salz und Pfeffer. Es schmeckte unangenehm süßlich; es schien völlig ungewürzt zu sein. Das war das letzte Mal, dass ich hier Shawarma gekauft habe.

Heute habe ich bei The Döner gegessen und war sehr zufrieden. Besonders das türkische Brot hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Art, wie das Fleisch und die Salate im Sandwich verteilt wurden, hat mir gefallen. Zum ersten Mal konnte ich ein Sandwich essen, ohne dass ständig etwas herausfällt. Das Fleisch hatte einen besonderen Geschmack, der sich von anderen Dönerläden unterscheidet. Insgesamt sehr lecker und eine klare Empfehlung. Gerne wieder!

Ich habe gerade zwei Cheeseburger gekauft und als ich nach Hause kam, fehlten Soße und Käse. Sehr nett, und das passiert oft, obwohl ich sie schon mehrmals auf dieses Problem hingewiesen habe.

Wir haben am späten Abend noch spontan einen Ausflug dorthin gemacht und noch was zu essen bekommen 😅 es schmeckt alles sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind großzügig, das Personal sehr nett und alles sehr sauber dort. Pluspunkt, man kann mit Karte zahlen.

Der Dönerteller hat super gut geschmeckt. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr nett, entgegenkommend, und gastfreundlich. Normalerweise schreibe ich nicht so oft Rezensionen aber hier musste ich es machen, weil es echt gut ist. Werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen wenn ich mal wieder in Hamburg bin. Der Speisenservice und der Kundenservice waren ausgezeichnet, und das fröhliche Lächeln auf den Gesichtern der Köche im Inneren sorgte trotz der Hitze dafür, dass wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten.

Ich hab über Lieferando Iskender bestellt. Was ankam, war das qualitativ minderwertigste Fleisch, das mir je untergekommen ist. Leider habe ich es mir erst genauer angesehen und entsorgt, nachdem ich schon davon gegessen hatte. Ca. eine Stunde später setzten Bauchschmerzen und Übelkeit ein. Ich denke, das Foto sagt alles.

Ich empfehle The Döner Wandsbek uneingeschränkt weiter. Das Restaurant überzeugt durch seine außerordentliche Sauberkeit, die hohe Qualität und den hervorragenden Geschmack der Speisen sowie durch ein vielfältiges Angebot an Speisen und Getränken. Besonders hervorzuheben ist zudem das stets freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Dies ist keineswegs nur eine Floskel – überzeugen Sie sich selbst vor Ort. Einfach nur TOP! 🔥❤️💪 Kann den DÖNER, ob als klassische Tasche oder als Dönerteller klar weiterempfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer supernett und aufmerksam. Wichtig, hier steht der CHEF noch als Bedienung hinter der Theke.😇 Die Auswahl anderer Gerichte spricht ebenfalls für sich und ist lecker! Also... LECKERSCHMECKER, ein Must-Have, wenn man auf der Ecke ist...!

Das Team ist immer sehr freundlich egal wann ich vorbei komme, keine Ausnahme wer kommt, das sieht man nicht häufig mehr. Das Essen hat immer eine gleich bleibende sehr gute Qualität, es schmeckt uns immer sehr gut. Ich nehme extra eine Anfahrt dafür in Kauf, weil es wirklich gut ist. Extra Wünsche werden mit einem Lächeln gerne und korrekt gemacht. Sogar extra nur Tomaten als Salat werden auch gerne gemacht.

Ich habe schon mal in diesem Laden bestellt und war positiv begeistert. Dann haben meine Frau und ich uns heute entschieden bei diesem Dönerladen noch mal zu bestellen aber heute ein totaler Reinfall. 23,30 € mit Lieferkosten für zwei Döner. Ein Döner mit Schafskäse ohne Zwiebeln, Hähnchenfleisch mit Gurken mit Cocktailsauce mit Zaziki Und Rotkraut und Weißkraut. Dieser Döner war schon fehlerhaft war ohne Schafskäse mit Zwiebeln. Warum bestellt man ohne Zwiebeln? Genau weil man sie nicht mag oder drinnen habe will. Zweiter Döner war soweit richtig, aber beide Döner eiskalt wirklich eiskalt. Meine Frau hat rein gebissen. Kurzer Zeit später ist ihr Brot in der Mitte auch durchgebrochen auf einer Seite. Also sieht man ja schlechte Qualität heute darf normal eigentlich nicht passieren also kenne ich nicht. Ich hab mein Döner liegen lassen und garnicht erst gegessen weil ich so sauer war und ich mich unfair behandelt fühle und mir danach einfach der Appetit vergangen ist. Das Brot wie Gummi und zäh wie kates getostetes Brot so schmeckt. Naja wie gesagt Alles war kalt und für mich nicht genießbar. Leider muss ich Sterne vergeben aber verdient haben sie keinen einzigen! Fazit ich werde nicht mehr wieder da bestellen!

Der Döner und der Dürüm schmeckt hier für hamburger Verhältnisse gut. Das Personal tritt dem Kunden freundlich gegenüber und mit der Bonuskarte kriegt man nach einigen Bestellungen einen Döner aufs Haus. Das ist ganz cool, da es der einzige Döner-Laden ist, den ich kenne, der dies in dieser Form anbietet.

Super Leute dort. Freundlich, gesprächig wenn man es drauf anlegt. Tolles Fleisch, und auch vegetarisch mega lecker. Gefühlt haben sie sogar die Buszeiten im Auge. Wenn du nur schnell bestellen willst ist absolut Alles reibungslos und lecker. Aber natürlich kann man auch vor Ort essen, denn es gibt viele gerichte die es verdienen sie zu genießen. The Döner.. Sehr leckerer Döner. Das Verhältnis von Fleisch zu Gemüse ist optimal. Manche Lokale servieren weniger Fleisch und mehr Gemüse. Hier ist es genau umgekehrt: mehr Fleisch, was ich sehr gut finde. Außerdem gefällt mir, dass das Gemüse klein geschnitten ist. In manchen Lokalen ist das Gemüse zu groß geschnitten, was ich nicht mag. Sehr freundlicher Service. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich war auf Empfehlung meines Bruders hier und habe einen Dönerteller gegessen – und ich muss sagen: absolut top! Das Essen war extrem lecker, frische Zutaten, perfekt gewürztes Fleisch und alles sehr stimmig zusammengestellt. Man schmeckt einfach die Qualität und die Liebe zum Detail. Auch der Service war perfekt: super freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben, was den Besuch nochmal deutlich aufwertet. Insgesamt ein richtig starker Laden, den ich ohne Zweifel weiterempfehlen kann. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Very friendly staff. The bread is excellent. You can barely taste the doner meat. The sauces are too sweet. It feels like you're just eating sauce with bread. Anyone in this kind of situation has to pay attention to everything. Then they'll become an Arda like the one on Ahrensburger Straße.

"It's one of the most disgusting places I've ever been. I've never seen anything like it. I wish I hadn't eaten that food – it was truly disgusting. I spoke to the people, but they didn't understand me and just stared at me blankly. It seemed like they were all undocumented workers. I checked a few times; the same employees were still there. I'm going to complain."

The doner kebab was a 10 out of 10, very quiet and relaxed area, I found nothing negative and it was very cheap for this quality.

Clean and nice, but the doner kebab is a disaster. The bread is okay. The meat is also okay, BUT… there's way too little meat and way too much sauce. Even if you ask for less sauce, you get soup. Hardly any flavor. It's a real shame. It's actually a good concept, but they don't understand doner kebab. The place should be called Doner Soup! 😂😂😂

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, as I've been waiting for it for two hours (ordered at 5:27 PM and still no delivery at 7:22 PM). I briefly called an hour ago, but no one has answered the phone since.

Best guy ever! I walk in, the kebab guy smiles. 😃👋🏻 I walk out, I smile. 😋😁 The sauce is amazing! The kebab plates are huge. You can get a free tea there. I always love coming back and have been a regular customer for a long time.

Very tasty kebab at a very reasonable price. 4.5-5 stars. The only downside is that there's a bit less meat, but the price is reasonable at €7.50, and the kebab was unfortunately quite cold. The kebab was still delicious, and there was a cute dog in the shop.

I paid €4.00 for a mini portion of fries, without ketchup or mayonnaise...never again. You have to search for kebab meat in cold, old bread...

This was my first time here. The design in the photos really appealed to me, and I wasn't disappointed. It's really lovely and cozy, with a super friendly and honest team. And the food? Simply fantastic, nothing more needs to be said.

You're basically doing everything wrong when ordering a doner kebab. But not at TheDöner! Whether freshly made or delivered, the doner kebab remains my absolute favorite in Hamburg. The side dishes aren't layered like at other places, where you just eat salad first and then the meat; instead, everything is mixed together really well. The meat is very juicy and flavorful, and the bread is crispy and delicious. Simply top-notch!
