Ich war mit meiner Frau da. Ich hatte mit Donald Duck ein sehr gutes Entengericht, von dem sich so mancher Chinese eine Scheibe abschneiden kann. Daher waren wir am nächsten Tag auch wieder da. Wir wurden schon freudig wie Stammgäste begrüßt. Natürlich nahm ich nochmal Donald Duck. Meine Frau war natürlich auch begeistert.

Nettes Ambiente, leckerer Gin Tonic. Wer hier gute asiatische Küche erwartet, ist hier völlig fehl am Platz. Falls man mich sucht - ich bin sicherlich nicht hier

Wir hatten drei Gänge. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gibt auch eine gute Auswahl für Vegetarier. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Service war außerdem schnell, obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Lediglich beim Dessert hätte ich für fast 10€ etwas mehr erwartet. Geschmeckt hat es dennoch.

Ein gutes Restaurant inmitten der Stadt. Schöne und gemütliche Einrichtung, zuvorkommender Service; gutes Sushi. Schnell zubereitet, abwechslungsreich.

Unfassbar schlecht. Mit asiatischer Küche hat das wirklich nichts zu tun. Das Einzige, was blieb, war der Geschmack von Frittierfett auf der Zunge. Unsere Bestellung ging komplett zurück.

Im Nachhinein fühle ich mich in diesem Restaurant verarscht... Kommen wir mal zu dem negativisten, als ich gelesen habe es gibt auf der Karte weißes Schokomouse mit HIMBEERMARK und Zitronenmelisse hatte ich mich gefreut, aber leider habe ich nicht das bekommen was ich bestellt habe. Auf meinem Teller war eine einzige Himbeere und vom Mark war weit und breit nix zu sehen, auf Nachfrage wo denn das Himbeermark ist sagte man mir das es aus sei, schon komisch das aufjeglichen Bildern online auch kein Himbeermark abgebildet ist. Achja bezahlt für diese Sache habe ich auch noch den vollen Preis, keine Preisminderung oderso. Das man mir meine Zitronenmelisse mit Pfefferminz vertauscht hat habe ich nichtmal als Ärgernis genommen. Dann kommen wir zu den Signature Rolls, dort habe ich mir die Movie Night Roll bestellt, schade das dort nur n Klecks Creme und nm Popcorn oben draufgeklebt werden. Für mich wars das.

Wir waren spontan dort und wurden gleich freundlich empfangen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Einrichtung ist toll aufeinander abgestimmt.

We sat outside and waited 13 minutes for a waiter who went outside at least 4 times to clear a table or clean up, but unfortunately we were ignored and not served.

We stumbled upon District by chance. Friendly service, delicious food, and a modern, unique atmosphere. We'll definitely stop by again to try some of their other dishes.

We tried to reserve a table online, which unfortunately didn't work. So we made a reservation by phone and called again on our way there, as we were worried we might be late. We were assured it would be no problem. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, our reserved table was given – right before our eyes – to two young women without a reservation. We were very disappointed and found this extremely unprofessional, especially since we were dismissed with a shrug and a half-hearted apology.

Very cool – the food was very good, but the service was even better. I spontaneously booked a table for my group of 10, and they made everything possible.

Honestly, this is completely unacceptable. The chicken soup had almost no flavor, but it did taste like dish soap. The duck was practically without any sauce, so it was very dry. The rice was only lukewarm, which was a real shame. There was absolutely no sauce with it, which was a huge disappointment! Even the cappuccino that followed was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this at all!

We had the Spicy Tuna Maki, Sake Nigiri, and Chris Prwan's Crunchy Rolls—all delicious! The homemade drinks were a particular highlight; we had My Love and Burberry (I think). Both were beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious! If we're ever in Hameln again, we'll definitely stop by. (In the pictures, we've already eaten a few rolls; there are 10 Crunchy Rolls and 6 Maki per portion, but we were really hungry!)

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a cozy ambiance that immediately created a welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive from beginning to end, making us feel completely at ease. The kitchen impressed us with wonderfully fragrant, exotic dishes that were a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. For my starter, I enjoyed grilled edamame beans, which were perfectly seasoned and pleasantly crunchy. This was followed by a beef soup with meat so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The fragrant spices enveloped the soup, making every spoonful a moment of pure bliss. My husband opted for the udon carbonara – and we both agreed: it was the best we've ever eaten. The meal was complemented by delicious homemade lemonades that were fresh, fruity, and wonderfully refreshing. All in all, it was a perfect experience that we won't soon forget. This restaurant combines warm hospitality, culinary excellence, and a cozy atmosphere – highly recommended! ---

The main thing is that the boss and his "crew" get in and get their food quickly. Service is so-so, the counter was full of glasses, the menu was completely worn out – it doesn't live up to the "reputation".

Excellent and unique sushi, as well as other Asian fusion cuisine. The restaurant looks very modern, but it's a bit noisy; some ceiling panels or something similar would definitely help.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Our dog was given a water bowl. The food was beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were generous and filling. The venue is modern and stylishly designed and furnished. The only negative point I give is the very worn menu cards; they should be replaced.

The value for money is absolutely fair and convincing across the board. Particularly impressive is the stylish and cozy interior design, which creates a unique atmosphere.

It's okay if the waiters don't really speak German, but it's not really okay if the cocktail is 50% ice and the old prices are listed. By the way, you're legally allowed to get a refill in such cases, and you can insist on the prices on the menu.

Very tasty food and friendly service

It's been a while since our visit, so I can't remember the details. But it was so good that we've reserved a table again for next week. We went there with four adults and two children. Everyone enjoyed the food. Although the restaurant was busy, the food was served at a comfortable time for everyone at the same time. We're back today—we'd love to go back! 12/08/25, new entry: this time we ordered from the lunch menu. At 12:30 p.m., we had the full attention of the staff—we were the only guests. For €12.50, you could choose from six different menus, and a drink (also from the lunch menu) was included. And, as described in the first two reviews, the food was once again a delight, the service friendly, and it was another successful visit. We'll be back!

The food was delicious, but expensive. Six simshi, which were more like appetizers, for €17 is pretty steep. We probably won't go there again.

An Asian restaurant that serves fresh and delicious food. We had everything from curry to sushi. The curry was perhaps a bit runny, but the taste was truly amazing. The homemade spritzers and non-alcoholic drinks are also beautifully presented. We were all satisfied!

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant and we ordered exactly the same food. There's actually a lot to choose from, including sushi, which isn't really our thing. That's why we took some of the main courses, but there are only about 4 to choose from. But they are very, very tasty and also highly recommended. We once had the salmon on sweet potato puree & once the duck with the plum sauce, with fragrant rice as a side dish. Food is really a 10/10. The staff is also very nice & the atmosphere is also very nice. Both times we were there during the week (afternoon/early evening) and it was always quite empty, which we found pleasant. Really very nice & cozy. The open kitchen is also very good!

We were very cold at our table (reserved in advance) because it was right at the door on the train. Even when we asked to get another table, we were quickly turned away because it was so full. The sweet potato fries were pretty soggy, the sushi was good, but not great. The waitress seemed very stressed and not very friendly. Too bad

Unfortunately, savings are being made wherever possible. Cocktails taste good, but there are many more ice cubes in the glass than the drink. The food wasn't really convincing either. It's a shame, but I'm not going there anymore.

The food in the District is always very good. The starters, the sushi and also the curry bowl with tofu are super delicious! The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended. The only negative point: The card reader never seems to work, so we were sent to the bank next door for the second time. The friendly and competent staff complete the positive impression. The only downside is that currently only cash or debit card payments are accepted; Unfortunately, credit card payments are not possible. Nevertheless, “The District” is a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy fine Asian cuisine in Hamelin.

The food was OK. It was good to eat, but to be honest it didn't blow me away. The price-performance ratio doesn't suit me. The cleanliness is also lacking. I was there on Tuesday and the toilets, both women's and men's, had not been cleaned for at least a week. Stains everywhere, paper empty etc. The cards were also worn and sticky. The waitress seemed annoyed. The location itself was positive, the furnishings were special and modern.

At first glance, a stylish, modern restaurant with Asian-influenced fusion cuisine. The quality of the food is good but not outstanding. I like the open kitchen principle: further back in the dining room you can watch the chefs preparing the food. The furnishing style is interesting, especially the oversized wall paintings with neon colors or the moss picture opposite... everything else is kept rather dark, overall the room seems - at least to me - a little too bright. The service is variable... I have eaten there 3 times in the last 3 months and have experienced three different service styles: from friendly and attentive to linguistically difficult to understand and careless. Sometimes the bar staff seem ignorant, as if they were forced to 'do their time' there... all while constantly looking at their cell phones. Finally, the explanation for only 3 stars: cleanliness! This is clearly being treated carelessly here. Dirty cutlery, the menus are worn and stained, the tables stick underneath and the floor in the middle back did too. A clear no-go for me! .... that doesn't work....

Delicious! We were here for our anniversary on a Wednesday evening. I have rarely eaten such good Asian food! Delicious! The taco baos in particular are highly recommended! We were seated immediately and were served very courteously. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also really liked the ambience and it was beautifully uniform with accents. The only drawback: It's all quite expensive and unfortunately no card payment is possible. Guys, we live in the 21st century, please introduce card payments and online reservations :)

After the District was recommended to us and I read the reviews, we really wanted to try it out. The service was very friendly, we got our food quickly and it was good too. For my taste, my crispy duck could have had more vegetables and a little more sauce, which I was given straight away when I asked. The few leaves of pak choi weren't enough for me as a vegetable side dish. My husband was happy with his tasty burger and crispy sweet potato fries. The fries came in a high-bottomed basket, which gave the impression of a decent portion. But then it was quite manageable. So I'm not that impressed with the price-performance ratio. Even though the District won't be my new regular restaurant, it was still very nice. The cool interior design is something different.

Were there for the first time and are very impressed! Both the starter (boa tacos with pork belly and sake nigiri) and the main courses were very good. My highlight: udon carbonara. I was craving the Japanese-Italian mix. What can I say...? A better carbonara sauce than at some Italian restaurants, where you often get messed up cream sauce when you order carbonara. We'd love to come back!

Have eaten there several times now and all in all I have to say there are much better places. It's nicely decorated, yes, but in terms of organization it's a disaster. Especially when you consider that prices are higher here, which in principle wouldn't be a problem. Within six months I was here twice and twice I was told that the Thai latte was not available. Then why not remove it from the card? Why don't you buy more if demand cannot be met several times? It's just annoying when you're looking forward to something and at the very end you're told that it doesn't exist again. In addition, the desserts on the menu are often simply no longer there, which is the same problem as with the coffee. Last time was also a disaster because even though we had reserved, we were simply sat at the bar with other people who had also reserved and parked there because there was no table available. We had to wait half an hour, which was an absolute disgrace. I don't need to make a reservation anymore and I won't anymore.

Manageable menu with starters, soups, about 5 main courses, 2 curries with a selection of meat, fish and tofu and some dessert. Food is nicely presented. The taste is quite okay. Somewhat wild combinations of dishes, not always suitable... Overall a nice restaurant, for the young generation or little sushi lovers.

We made a relatively spontaneous reservation for four people for the same evening, which made sense as the place was packed! We were thrilled: very friendly service, delicious food, nice (unusual) atmosphere - everything was great! One dish was easily made vegetarian. Only the speed could have been slowed down a bit, because when the main course came we were still eating the starter and aperitif - but that doesn't matter! Overall, highly recommended
